I didn't say his results are not very bright. Those who are getting bfps are still getting it but a lot of nairalanders got bfn this period that was why I adviced SA if u have the time since the price difference is not much. Ivf is not automatic and it requires a special miracle from God to work. I did 3 with Dr Emeka b4 I got a bfp. So if money is an issue and u can afford 1m-1.2 then u can as well go to SA where u're sure u'll get the best if there's phrase like that.. You can also look at Bridge as they are also good. In all, pray to God for direction because the procedure also comes with its own confusion.

Hello all, hope evry1 is ok? May God accept our prayers and grant us our heart desires.
@peace5050; I think what you shud concentrate on now is to fast and pray to God to direct u to where u'll get ur Bfp and finally have ur babies. It nt a matter of one clinic is the best, some people go to d least clinic and they got there Bfp and have there babies.
Frm my own experience,I did my previous ivf @ the Bridge clinic and it didnt click.I encouraged a friend to try it too but she was a little scare that sumthing dat didn't work for me how I'm I sure it going to work for her but I told her dat b'cos it didn't work for me doesn't mean it nt going to work for her,dat she shud fast and prayer hard on it b4 embarking on it.She did as I told her and her first attempt resulted in a bouncing baby girl last month.Hope that help.Sending baby dust to all.

@All; I think we shud all beware of those that give concoctions.I've heard of a place in port harcourt called Obigbo that people go their to collect concoction and they say it certain that u will conceive and have a baby @ a price of 500k.But what I keep telling them is that it is only God that is certain anything else is nt real.
I've heard of 3 people that went there; Mrs A,B and C. Mrs A went there to collect concoction, she conceived and gave birth to a baby but the baby dies 7days later.
Mrs B went there to collect concoction, during the time she was taking the concoction she had a dream that she and some women are queuing up in front of IROKO tree begging for a child.I think God want to save her that is why she got the revelation.
Mrs C went there to collect concoction, she conceived and gave birth to a baby boy that is almost 2yrs old now b'cos it worked for her the first time she decided to go for another baby.
I learnt dat they don't pay a dine until day of delivery, you also cannot attend any other hospital except there's own,and they will be the one to tell u when u'll give birth.
As I was saying Mrs C went there d second time but when it time for delivery she did have 500k to pay so they told her she can't deliver until she get the money complete.since them she has been carrying the pregnancy for almost a year and half. She went to the hospital they couldn't find any baby inside her womb, she now decided to go to the church where the pastor pray for her but the pastor told her to go back to where they tie her womb that they will be the one to untie it.
Can you now see that she decided to dine with the devil and the devil has taken charge of her life.
So my fellow TTC women pls stick to only God and medical means.I know our God has not forgotten us as he did for some of us in this NL so he shall do for the rest of us AMEN.We will all give our testimonies soonest on this forum.

@Blendy 77,just when I decided to use Emeka and had even already contacted him,I got very discouraged by your post about his recent Bfn's,I've prayed for the leading but can't seem to get headway, really really confused about where to use.
@ Peac5050 on the a second taught I think its not really about Dr Emeka but time and chance(Eccl 9v11) the mercies of God I think that 's what we need. God help Us.

God is the giver of babies o, let's apply caution in this our quest for children. Ivf is still to some extend a mystery because doctors can authoritatively explain how it works from stimulation, egg retrieval and finally transfer but it doesn't end there. What happens in the womb after the transfer can only be GOD AT WORK. However, some doctors try to do the right things for their clients so as to aid the BFP. While some really don't care because they know you would come back.
Blendy didn't get a BFP at the first attempt, she did get it at her 3rd attempt with Dr. Emeka after 2 failed attempts at Omni and a failed one at The Bridge. She endured all that and today she's a proud mother of twins. Oga Inwangobio also did several attempts before the wife became pregnant with triplets. Some take time to research, pray, fast and do the necessary things before embarking on the journey and I found out that those who took this step usually have BFPS on their first trial. A friend of mine took about six months to prepare and today, she is a proud mum at first attempt. My first attempt was a quickie, thought if I just try, it would work. But it wasn't so. The second time, I took some meaningful steps but had little time to prepare,,I had a BFP but miscarried almost immediately. This time, am not in a hurry. I want God to lead the way, while I take a back seat. Prepare VERY WELL and with the right clinic and doctors, God will work the MIRACLE out for me.

Please let's commit the journey in his hands and also help ourselves to do the right things, eat right, pray right and God will perfect the rest. Don't go drinking any concoctions or visiting ungodly places. God's gifts are blessed and joyous ones that last forever. Remain blessed my sisters and brothers.

Nogen thanks a lot for this explanation. You couldn't have said it any better.

Arisolama, Emeka is very good and different from every other ivf Dr I've come across. Those who have met him or used him can testify to that. I just feel sad when people call me or send me emails concerning failed ivf attempt with him. Especially those people who are not financially ok but saved 1m just to have a baby. It is always difficult for me to console them cos I know most Nlanders went there becos of the good things I've written about this Dr and that is why I'll gladly want people to try other places like SA since the cost is almost the same. Bridge is another good place I'll recommend because of their blast transfer. My only issue with them is customer relationship as they are not so good in managing client relationship. In all, allow God to direct u. If at the end u come out with a bfp at first attempt, thank God, and I'll be here to rejoice with u and if otherwise, thank God for better things to come.

Heavenly father, hear the cry of your children, from the beginning it was not soooo, father look upon us with mercy,@blendy how are d twins?u are an inspiration always@peace5050 no need for confusion, calm down, calming down cld mean staying off NL for some time,I've had panic attacks cos of too much information in d past,u see d herbs one,u know wen pple are desperate they take anything including pastors, sometime last week 2 pple were arrested for stealing babies ,d victim said she came der nd dey gave her herbs nd dey called her to come and deliver only for dem to be arrested, with IVF der are no guarantees,a family friend tried 4X in canada, all bfn,na wen she come Naija it clicked,I think its a gamble but d diff btwn naija nd oda countries is dat dey gamble with knowledge and facility, for instance I think in making a decision again I will consider a facility where freezing works well so that even if a cycle fails I can try FET,I know bridge has dat facility but I think they are expensive,nd for me that my hubby is a typical african man,I have to get d clinic to store his sperm so e does not have to keep going ,in d mean time take your time in making a decision,I've not decided where to go nxt cos my oga @ d top say he no go anywhere again, but am seriously considering going to SA to freeze my eggs pending the time we decide on what to do.The God of heaven will be God indeed

@Peace100100, I call u dat cos ur peace shall be 100%, I see fear in you, pls remove fear and go on your knees and prayyyy, our sisters here said it all, don't ever forget the spiritual aspect of ttc, know so many of us here our case is spiritual and until dat is settle we might be doing trial and error.

I for one won't have given ivf/icsi a thought if not for my dreams, saw doctors help me conceive three good times, and when I dedicated myself to pray to ask from God His perfect will, He answered me with the same dream and remind me of the ones I had had since. So, consider your dreams pips, one way or the other God will speak to you when you pray, I don't know why am ivf is the choice when I prayed, but He knows all, maybe some enemies somewhere had said, let's see how her husband will impregante her, am not saying God can't silence them and make it naturally happen but His ways are beyond human understanding, of He has given you the go ahead, He will give the backing, spiritualy, financially and all around.

So, I enjoy all of us to draw near to our God, your God, don't do serving God and mammon, He is a jealous God, eat well, take avocado pears, eat veggies and fruit like a month or two before ivf, use bitters,(like yoyo bitters, adams ghana bitters) to cleans your system, cleans and then rebuid ur system with natural foods, remove canned foods entirely from ur system even to tin toms. May be we try read pikinmama's post, or better still bookmark it and read in and out of her post, practice those healthy life style for two months before starting ivf.

I would rather go for ivf than go to herbalist, or take concoction I don't know how it is mixed, @ tanidabi, thanks for that piece. I used to say I tap into her pregnancy, but God spoke to me, don't say that again! Cos you don't know how they got pregnant, since then, never, I only speak good wishes to you when I see you pregnant.

@Blendy, I appreciate the fact that you don't make Emeka a god, advising SA, I discuss that with hubby and he said maybe we should kukuma go to SA as a holiday/ivf trip, so we are considering SA, he thought of Egypt before but cos of unrest they experience now, going there is outa it.

I believe with all, puting God in it, asking His will, eating well, if on the big side do some gym, ivf failure will be a thing of the past on this thread.

I concur with Blendy! The truth is, the hand of God is definitely required for IVF to work! Really, success rate on 1st trial is not that high depending on each individuals' circumstance. I think what really stands Dr Emeka out is his friendly disposition and willingness to listen to his patients which is lacking with many Doctors here who feel they are the alpha & omega. However, i still advise people do their research very well as there is alot of info on the internet especially on how to increase chances of bfps. I did with Emeka on 1st trial and i got a BFN 4 eggs produced only one fertilized. I'm on my 2nd trial now going with short antagonistic protocol as the initial long protocol for 1st trial was hard on my body! I pray we will get tripple for our trouble this time. What i plan doing differently this time is to have this injection that lengthens leautal phase and increases chances of implantation this procedure is at extra cost oooo! Some people do theirs without this injection and still get bfp. Also, i read that viagra suppository also helps with implantation i will also give this a shot in this cycle. Above all YAWEH has the final say!
I wish all of us God's speed and blessings round about us! It is well even in the well... wink

Peace5050, you are welcome on board, I thank God for giving me another brother after pm05337, by God's grace we will keep growing because this struggle shouldn't be painted as the 'women's thing', we must be actively involved. I quite understand how you feel because i have been there, several suggestions like the issue of herbs from one Ijaw woman here in Abuja; impreganating a girl who will bear children for me without the consent or knowledge of my wife; meeting one prophet who will carry out series of deliverances for us. But I vowed not to do anything that will not bring glory to God. God has never and will never fail those who trust in Him. Please sisters be praying for your husbands, you dont know how many pieces of advice and suggestions we get everyday, I trust God to still keep your husbands focused and cause them to stand by you all the way.
@Nogen my sister, it might interest you to know that we had bfp at our 1st trial( though we lost it at week10), the 2nd cycle was still done there but it failed, but when i noticed they were not caring that was when we moved to Fertil Aid. The 1st cycle there we didnt have enough embies so Dr Shaibu was constrained to do tranefer at day 3, our 2nd cycle we had enough quality embies did blastocyst transfer, when that one failed that was when our Dr asked whether flushing was done after that cycle that we had miscarriage and thereby recommended hysteroscopy for us which we did in November last year, we started our 3rd cycle there in January and here we are today, almost at our week 13.
Why I am restating this is to show you how far we have gone and that: yes it is good to take necessary precautions so as to achieve bfp at 1st attempt but the whole thing still lies in God, He alone determines what happens at any time, the only thing I will advice is that we shouldn't give up. we must keep trying. As Blendy rightly said, if yours works out at 1st trial thank God, if it doesnt still thank God and move on, dont give up. I have a colleague who went as far as India but had bfn, she came back and did it here in Diff and got twins ( a boy and a girl), you can go anywhere but know that everything lies in our God. God bless you all.

Hey People, I have been a silent reader of this post for some time now and decided it is time to be part of it, hubby and I have decided to go the IVF way but I am particular about clinics that do sex selection any idea of such clinic please let me know. That said I plan to give my self like 3 months to work on myself, by that I mean excersice, eat right, lose weight and relax, have also ordered fatility blend for both of us.
I was told my tubes were blocked and there is this Falopio that some body wrote that she has the contact, could you please drop the contact because I am seriously considering buying it.

Any link to South Africa and Egypt IVF centeres will be appreciated. To Everybody, hold on to God and see your doctors, ONE day, it will be over

@Peace5050, Fertil Aid Clinic is a fertility clinic run by Dr Shaibu Sunday at Gwarinpa Estate in Abuja, you can check my previous posts and you will get every info you need about them. We did our 3rd-5th cycles there.
@All, we are going to start our antenatal on Friday at National Hospital, our doctor actually gave us a letter to one of the consultants who will really be of help and is good in managing multiple preg. See me am now talking of ANTENATAL, the same word I used to hear from people's mouth, God is truly wonderful, i know He will do same to every of my people here.
@Gimnaeto, how u dey? Which day u go break that goodnews of bfp? pls stay calm and know that God is working things out for you, we have you and the rest of my people here in our prayers. Love you all.

@blenndy .... I went to dr Emeka , mainly because of you and other people who have posted their experiences. I did a lot of research and most importantly prayed. I had my transfer on on the 23 rd of March (it was a sunday)and I remember there were three other transfers done aside from mine that day. to the glory of GOD, my bfp came on the 8th of April...... I have given GOD all the glory. I am however writing because of the comments about results with dr emeka. I am certain that three out of the four of us that came that day got our bfp's....including one lady from Dubai or so....(she also came cos of what she read). I can't classify myself as a nairalander cos I have never posted before..... But PLEASE let the motivation (honest) this great forum has been for me not be diluted ...... @ 5050..... Pray and be lead. My testimony is not an advert or an angrandiser...... It is just a testimony. Not only Nairalanders use that Dr..... He is a good good dr who has assembled a great functional team.....Don't take my word for it. Go and try. Finally @ blenndy.... Thanks. Even if its advert let it be, you don't owe anybody any apology, when somebody does something good he should be talked about and recommended to others. I know its God that uses these great doctors who put on human face, who will ever tell me not to talk about Dr. Shaibu Sunday? Abeg leave matter for Mathias, it is well with you, i need more of this testimony in this forum, I am happy people are really encouraged with what we are doing here. @Blendy your 'little' effort is paying off, more grease to your elbow.
