What sort of questions could be asked during the informal chat? Is this informal chat with the HR or the contact person of the department?

HR doesn't get involved, just advert and process. Informal chat will be with the department recruiting manager and you can pretty much ask anything aside for salary etc NHS bands are pretty set already

If you watched that match yesterday even if Nigeria lost the performance was world class and was better than anything unde rohr
I don't blame him though,
When clowns like pinnick were buay picking grade b coaches like him what do you expect

We dominated that match against Egyp, even I was surprised! Let's see how the next one goes

Lol Oga Pinnick has picked another grade B/C coach, it was on this same nairaland people were blaming aboki NFF of estacode and junketting around the globe, that when we get a young Southern NFF head we can get top quality coach and investment

Hello everyone, it’s been a while here, hope everyone is doing alright??

I will be done with my nursing program this year and I’m ready to start applying for jobs. I need assistance on what areas in England are good in terms of decent cost of living. I currently reside 30mins from central London and the rent is crazy this side. Please what areas are affordable to live in and with good pay rates for nurses?? I’m thinking towards Birmingham, Wolverhampton, the midlands generally while being open to other options as well.

Don’t read and pass please!

You too can contribute once in a while madam nurse, stop doing hit and run since 2020 cheesy

The Midlands and up north is generally cheaper if you choose right but then again if you're used to London/South East you might not find those places very easy initially. If you know people there even better

Medicines should be in your check-in bag except those that are needed urgently.

Just to add to this, please have prescription details from your Doctor or specialist

I use my bankcard. Have never owned an oystercard. You need to tap again at the end inorder to open the barrier.
I always wondered who the tapping out announcement was for.

There are still some stations without barriers and some with tap out machines not too visible.

Hi guys,
I will be commuting to work within London starting soon. I will be using buses only.
From my research online, there is no difference between getting a travel card amd using my bank card for the week as the fares are capped on the bank card once it reaches the equivalent cost of a travel card...

Can anyone confirm this or give any advice on how to proceed?

Yes that's correct, bank cards are gradually replacing travelcards/oyster except you're getting student discount

Are you sure you want to use buses only, commuting by bus alone is very frustrating, I find. There are so many road works

so ethnic cleansing is not the right term for this then, people-irrespective of their ethnicity-with enough capital can still live in these areas that have been gentrified

what is happening in Lekki/Epe/Makoko can be term ethnic cleansing sha

Its easier since there are historical relationships and they are financially more buoyant and highly skilled compared immigrants from Eastern Europe and Africa for example also helps the big bad wolves is china

How much will It cost to commute using either
Mode of transportation..... Just a rough estimate..

Are the tfare quoted on this site reliable?

Thanks boss

Depends if your journey will be excluding zone one, you can either buy the weekly pass or monthly if your not going in to work daily use your contactless. The travelcard allows you to use bus,train/tube

Yes the site is reliable, it's the official transport for London site

Lol.
Well, considering that so-called white Brits are less than half of London's population, the gentrification is not solely oyibo-driven.
i.e. ability to pay London's crazy house prices is not race-specific.

True, more social cleansing

If you can afford it...white,black,brown!

Look at all the Hong-Kong citizens buying up all these new builds as they relocate to the UK

Good day and compliments of the season to everyone here.
Wifey, myself and our 1year old daughter will be going to the UK by month end latest by his grace. She'll be schooling in central London and I'm having difficulty in making decisions on where to stay. I heard London is really expensive and it's advisable to commute from nearby towns.

After many considerations and research, Luton fit within my budget for 2bedroom flat, budget is 850£ at max. Now there's so many negative reviews about Luton and I'm not sure I want to go there. Please, I need advise on commuter's town where I can get 2bedrom flat for 850£ and below...thanks.

Meanwhile, we fit manage 1bedroom flat for now and that will also save us some costs.

Central London is massive. If you narrow it down and list the nearest train or tube stations it will help. But you can look towards zone 5 and 6 in London or Dartford in Kent, there are regulat direct trains to London Bridge, Charing Cross, Canon Street and Victoria

Many of these towns listed as worse in the country usually have 'safe' areas or just historically bad reputations. Many people commute to Peterborough to London, it has also undergone massive regeneration

Hi guys,
I have read here about the care sponsorship route but not sure how someone already in the system can get sponsorship via care. I came in last year via student Visa but currently working in a healthcare facility as a support worker. I have already seen online that my Company is on the list of organisations that can offer sponsorship but dont know if I qualify as I cant see specific eligibility requirement. Will appreciate any information on this.

Try as much as possible to get all the training and certification that comes with your role whilst on the job, approach the HR about sponsorship or get in touch with other employers about sponsorship when they put out advert for senior roles

That's if you really want to be in that sector.
Don't forget your school work!

My people
We are not talking about the health and care worker's visa

Has it launched?
I can't seem to find official news that people can now aoplyy
https://www.gov.uk/government/news/biggest-visa-boost-for-social-care-as-health-and-care-visa-scheme-expanded

The temporary measures are expected to come into effect early next year and will be in place for a minimum of 12 months, providing a much-needed staffing boost while the sector deals with the additional pressures of the pandemic, at which point they will be reviewed.

Please which airline did you use?
Want to be sure I don’t need to do the covid pcr before departure from MMA to Uk with a lay over flight like Qatar airways or Egypt?
I believe a direct flight don’t need to do the covid pcr test before departure
Thank you

If you've been vaccinated you don't need to for direct flights BA and virgin
For others you'll need to check their individual requirements as you'll be 'entering' their country or be in contact with other passengers entering the country

What's the advantage of using the p2p over direct trading? Never really understood the hassle of p2p trading. Monzo, revolutionary even halifax are okay with binance from personal experience (ps I'm not a heavy user)

The governor is at fault here. There are rules of engagement.

He should have just call his superior to order him to leave. Unless the governor is doing this to generate public support for state controlled policing.

Exactly! all that Chief Security Officer is just on paper...what do you think Benue Gov n co are going through

The Police officer is under instructions from his superior, Sanwo-Olu should have been speaking with the superior not him. I mean hes even asking the guy to call his oga that he is here.

All the people saying Wike/Fashola would have asked for him to be transferred out of state, so what? His Oga will fix him in Abuja HQ no big deal
