It least Russia was not blamed this time. Thank goodness grin

I just laugh when I hear them demonising other countries for things they do daily. grin
All I hear is "You cannot do that, we are the only ones allowed to do it".

Well she doesn’t have a fixed salary, she’s self employed sometimes she make 800 and sometimes it could be more or less, but she wants to start paying her self a fixed salary (from her business account to savings) for the purpose of the visa application, so technically it’s not a lie. I just want to know how much salary would be reasonable considering that she’s planning to show a three months bank statement with a balance of 3 million.

These things are not set in stone as somone on 100k salary could be granted a visa and someone on 1m may be denied. If you are using her salary as proof, make you you cover all bases just to be on the safe side e.g Payslips, perhaps showing income tax paid from a business account. If you are stating that she owns the business, perhaps include the income statement and tax documents. Again, it may be an overkill but up to you. For me, I like to keep mine simple, I just follow the guide for the visa category I am applying for and if I feel good, I might throw in one or two optionals. never been rejected.

Brother is confused on what to now pleaseπŸ™πŸ™πŸ™ what kind I do on this situation
It's possible you have a 10 year ban. The UK visa process is straight forward, I wonder why anyone will use an agent. cry

i will answer to this....

1. Abia State is one of the dirtiest (if not the dirtiest state) in terms of environmental sanitation and refuse management..

He has been clearing the refuse and transforming the roads....

It used to be a mess especially during rainy season..

2. Pensions payment... cleared almost 10years pension arrears and he hasn't even done 1year himself..... and said pensions will not be owed in his administration..

3. No salary arrears or delays.. (this is a major achievement as silly as it looks. yes it looks silly)

4. Approved the law stripping former governors and deputy governors of Abia from receiving pensions and all sorts of payments when they couldnt pay pensions.. which has further put the people in poverty..

If you need more info on the kind of money paid to these ex govs and deputies for life:

https://dailypost.ng/2020/11/10/lagos-breakdown-of-ex-governors-pension-as-signed-by-tinubu/

Abia State with terrible governors term after term.. they've had no real leadership

It is a BIG DEAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for your answer. You are the first person to give me a reasonable answer, most of the others most likely were just following the social media hype. Indeed Alex Otti should be commended, especially on the repeal of the ex -governor's pension act.

What has he even done apart from roads? I remember his predecessor did the same too when he assumed office before he fizzled out. There are governors in Nigeria today that have done much more quietly.

While i cannot speak for other churches ,catholics do not teach that Muslims will go to hell, if I remember correctly. That would be arrogant, wouldnt it? I still remember catechism.
Just to correct the records for anyone reading.

Obviously, he did not consider them offenders. (remember how he wouldn't condemn the adulterous woman) He saw them as people with not irredeemable flaws.

This gentleman made some homophobic remarks on Facebook which he said were based on his Christian beliefs. University expelled him.
He won on appeal 5 years ago. But his new would-be employer found the case and terminated him which is what this new case is about.

If I findout my doctor has recently expressed racist anti-immigrant views on Facebook, I would be looking for another doctor no matter how much he swears he is not biased.

I do not know the ful details of the comments you alleged that he made but th fact that he said it's a sn should not mean that he will not treat others equally. That story you quoted, remember Christ said to the woman "Go and sin no more" so drawing parallels with this story, christ would have been cancelled too for considering the woman a sinner because we can't trust him to treat "adulterers" equally.

At least three (3) people here have now shared their very thoughts on Lexusgs430's conducts and I am glad one is a naturalized British citizen (person wey see road well.)

I first came across this Lexusgs430 moniker on a Car thread years ago, had some respect for him but he's a totally different entity in this UK living thread. It's as though he wants to continually bully people and show off his citizenship... While many might keep quiet, jump and pass, I am not like that. I'll say it to his face, that's how I was made. Lexusgs430 moniker deserved to be seen for who he is.

He's also the one who called rent money dead money, almost pushing some people to see themselves as failures because they paying rent. I'm glad he shot himself in the foot and confessed he enjoyed student loans, public funds etc in his early days... Much like a grown cock preventing cockerels from growing. I like the response somebody gave on this thread last year saying something like "nobody can stop new immigrants from entering UK, the oldies should get used to it."

I am not tracking lexusgs430 or have any personal interest in him, but just as he has a right to say whatever, I have a right to challenge whatever. I'm not even asking him to stop, but he should be seen for who he is. He claims he helped people out of depression?? Is that not funny?? It's not only Lexus, the other ones who act as though they sat down with home office to draft the immigration policies too know themselves.

This thread is meant to encourage people, not discourage people and push them to depression! Come off it.

It is obvious you do not know Lexusgs430, former Umigidi brand ambassador. He has provided a lot of valuable information to people here, whether it is on credit cards, properties, phones, clippers and even vivastreet shocked (heard of it here from oga himself). He has also provided "financial" help to people here. I remember he paid for someone's hotel accommodation to enable them attend a job interview.
Please don't be too uptight, I heard it is not good for one's health. Often times, if you read between the lines, you will learn something.

No he wasn't right. The budget that was passed is what was signed. The figure was widely reported in the press. He probably was confused by the sections that had no breakdown, which is a different matter all together.

When is your time please cos you always come across as someone that has the solutions to all UK problems? Yet, you don't have an idea of who he was referring to.

What I can however deduce from your posts and comments is that they are usually lopsided and strongly politically motivated/influenced. Anything to sell your political views and paint the opposition party bad. Typical politician you are!!

I like her style though. She is more factual than those we have in parliament. I see a future MP in her, She almost convinced me to vote labour but Kier and his stance on Gaza will not let me. grin

Yes. But when I put in destination country as UK . The cover was in euros. The amount insurance cost was about 40k naira but medical cover was in euros. So i got confused let me not pay for something and then it will be that I can't use it. I was expecting to see what it covers in pounds. I was seeing things like emergency medical expenses cover 35k euros. This and that all in euros. That is why i feel uncomfortable with it. Check AXA Nigeria site u will see what i am saying.
That's fine. It's the value of the cover of the insurance. When I did mine many years ago, it was in euros

Good evening house.
I work in a company where my role covers EMEA. I have just been told to prepare to visit Switzerland, Germany, Sweeden, Finland , Czech Republic.etc

My ASK. Please does my BRP allow me to go to these countries or I need to apply for Visa.

Secondly, does anyone have any useful information regarding the cost and any other info that may be of help.

Thanks
You will need a visa. As for the cost, ideally, your company should pay for it and they should have a travel booking portal, except if you are contracting.

Normally that rice would have cost more than Β£50 so the extra saving in pounds can be used to buy other items. In other words, his pounds will go further and buy more than it normally would even with the inflation. Oya see my link again tongue:

I got the email too. I remember Buhari and Emefiele had similar policy.
No, Emefiele's policy was that the IMTOs could only pay dollars for foreign currencies sent to Nigeria and not naira. This drove some of us to using other means (including barter). This is a good move by the CBN. Perhaps I may start using the "official" channels again.

Thank you so much for this explanation, I really appreciate, we are relocating to the Uk and my daughter wrote the NECO Exam in November, so we wanted to find out if it is recognized in the Uk inorder to get admission into the University of A Levels as the case may be. I just need more light. Thank you so much.
The short answer is yes. I believe with the O Level, the child can go for A levels although id the child is too young, they might push back based on age. I heard a story of someone who came in and was being asked to join her year grade until the parents presented her excellent O level result which they could not conter.
