There should be more severe punishment for this act than just ban or disqualification, like jail term or fines. This is fraud because it was intended to make a gain at the expense of others. NDLEA should be involved in this except if the culprit isn’t resident within Nigeria. They will be worrying guys smoking weed for relaxation up and down when others are taking banned substances to enhance fame and financial gain.

A pig in April 2010. Dat creature na bast**d. I was returning to Jos from the village, doing about 140km/hr and I saw it walking across the road casually. I dropped speed and by my calculation I would avoid it by swerving a little. All of a sudden the maniac increased speed in order to outrun my approach and …. I practically ran over it at about 90-100km/hr. I nearly went off road but luckily no car was approaching and I managed to stay on the road though I found myself on the other lane. My bumper peeled off the car, fog lamps shattered and one of the beams in front bent. The shocking thing is that before I managed to park, this animal just rolled on the tar, got up and sped into the bush. How did that animal not die? I wondered. Even the villagers were surprised. I just managed to tie my bumper with a copper wire and continued my journey.

It’s not surprising to me. Federal government institutions are filled with intrigues, backstabbing, hypocrisy and all negatives you can think of. Some go diabolical just to gain or retain a position.
In 2021 vacancy for position of CMD in one of the teaching hospitals in the north was advertised. A relative of mine applied. This is a Professor of Community Medicine with over 25years of medical practice & lecturing. He has been acting CMD of State Specialist Hospital; he has been Provost of a College of Health Technology for 5yrs. One time president of state chapter of NMA. He is a medical theses editor for candidates doing specialization courses in universities across the country.
He was scheduled for written examination and panel interview in Abuja. The panel was drawn from the Federal Ministry of Health, Medical and dental council, and other institutions. Every thing was set until the morning of the exam/interview session word came that the minister ordered a postponement of the process until a later advised date. They returned home and some few months later the then acting CMD was appointed substantive CMD. The whole process was discarded. People traveled from far, big time people in the medical field o! At the end it’s whom the powerful politicians anointed that got the job.

My neighbor parked his car for over a week because he was planning to travel during the festive period. He had to save cost so he could travel comfortably.
I myself have kept using my car because it is fuel efficient and my work doesn’t allow me do much movements aside from home to office and back. I calculate my movements very well.
I postponed a journey early this month when i calculated and saw I would need about 80k just to fuel my car to & fro. It wasn’t worth it. One has to just use finances deliberately judiciously.

Truly I’ve not been his supporter, neither was I against him. I’ve been indifferent about him and his political journey, but since he won I have had this feeling that he might do well just to shame his haters (and there was no short supply of them) and he has truly met and surpassed my expectations.

He has delighted me so far. One ingredient of positive leadership is the ability to win the confidence of your followers and that he has largely achieved so far. I wish him the best sincerely.

Maj Gen C. G. Musa the new CDS is from Southern Kaduna and is Christian. He’s the immediate past Theater Commander of Operation Lafiya Dole, the counter insurgency operations of the north east. From there he was appointed the Core Commander of infantry of the NA. He’s truly competent for this new appointment.

Modified: The counter insurgency operation which the CDS commanded is named Operation Hadin Kai. Lafiya Dole is the former name, but it’s pretty much the same operations. Just to set the records straight.

And we are back where we started. Same thing that made NNPC abandon its refineries is about to play out here. The ease of, and huge margins from importation is far higher than of manufacturing (or refining) in this case. When dangote begins to enjoy the easy and quick profits from importation he will abandon the refinery, aradu, he needs to recover his fund as quickly as possible and he will break even his investment faster importing than if he goes refining. We’re going to be on a long thing in this country

Guy! Go to a hospital and get proper diagnosis and treatment. Some growth came up a friend’s face some 5yrs ago, on his lower cheek. We thought it was normal boil or stuff like that. After several antibiotics, he went to hospital and it was diagnosed to be a cancerous tumor. He had liver cancer and didn’t know until it spread and manifested on his face. It was a tough battle that we eventually lost. He passed away 2021.
Not trying to scare you but please go to a proper hospital and get good treatment.

These and many more are questions we should be asking the government. These are things we should demand answers to otherwise we’ll just keep hearing different nonsense every new day
