Ikwerre is a distinct ethnic group that lost her culture, then adopted the Igbo culture (especially, their names).

The best the Igbo should do is to encourage the Ikwerre ethnic group to work to drop Igbo (Igbo-sounding) names; it is achievable (say in 50 to 70years time) if the Ikwerre start naming their children English names.

By bearing Igbo-sounding names, the Ikwerre betrays her true stance, and portrays herself as Igbo, which they are NOT!

Can you differentiate the Scottish from the English? they speak same language and bear same similarities.

There is something some Igbos have failed to understand. Our leaders are actually our biggest setback and I will give you reasons.

SE leaders, particularly the governors are weak and timid. When Oyigbo LGA was under attack, Ohanaeze didn't say anything throughout the almost two weeks it lasted. Then when Wike came under massive pressure, he still made ridiculous statements purporting that Igbos are not indigenous to Rivers State. One would have naturally expected Ohanaeze to act or at least release statements on both occasions: 1. To condemn the attack on Oyigbo LGA and 2. To correct Wike on his wrong assertions. Unfortunately, they didn't act but to make an already bad situation worse, they embarked on a shameful visit to Wike. Now, if Ohanaeze had gone alone, it would have been a bit acceptable, but they had to go with almost the entire SE governors to pay a visit to Wike!

Worse still, at the visit, they blamed the victims and never in any way questioned Wike on some of his excesses.

If the SE governors or Ohanaeze have any self worth, they should have sent the Abia State governor or Umahi as SE governors forum chairman to meet with Wike in P.H and iron out issues.

What we're you expecting Ohanaeze Ndigbo Ndiara to do in Port Harcourt except to blame IPOB.

He is a man of empathy; he is the people in Aso Rock. He is the man who set up a committee of governors to interface with the youths and who has stated that he will also meet with youths.

His time as Acting President was when I got a glimpse of how an Osinbajo-led administration will be. I think four or eight YEARS of Osinbajo as President will bring unbelievable change to Nigeria.

Only God knows if this will be but as for me, I see no man better than Osinbajo for the future.

Unknown to many, the genocide that took place in Oyigbo was a premeditated attack by Wike on the indigenes because they are not just passionate about their Igbo identity but also identifying with their brothers from the SE.

Wike is a narcissist who hates Igbos with passion and he feels threatened that a union between Igbos and their Obigbo brothers could put a stop to ikwerre undue dominance and maltreatment of other minorities in Rivers State. For those who still don't know that Wike hates Igbos more than any politician alive today in Nigeria, I will give you facts on why Wike is against Igbo interests.

Fact 1. Wike has been pushing a ridiculous propaganda that Igbos are not indigenous to Rivers State. He now often mention Igbos in the same way he mentions Hausa, Yorubas or Fulani as settlers in Rivers State. Despite the fact that this mindset is stupid and unreasonable, he keeps projecting it. Now, if Igbos are not indigenous to the state, what ethnic group does the indigenes of Oyigbo LGA belong to? I'm not even talking about other LGAs too that are Igbos in Rivers State.

Fact 2. Of all the nationalists in Nigeria, Wike named a stadium after Gowon. Then one wonders what's the rational of doing so if not to show his Igbophobic tendencies. He did that to tell everyone that he appreciates how Gowon dealt with Igbos and saved them. In addition, he named old Aba road too.

Fact 3. He publicly stated that criminals operating in parts of Rivers State are Igbos who operate from Anambra State. One begins to wonder why or how on earth a governor will make such slanderous claims. How did he arrive at such conclusion? Does it even make sense to profile not just a whole state but an entire ethnic group & project them like they're constituting nuisance on Rivers State??

Fact 4. He closed Ikoku spare parts market and goes about giving the impression that he is doing the Igbos a favor by allowing them to do business in Rivers State.

There are more facts to prove that Wike is a devil who hates Igbos with passion aside these few ones I listed, but I will stop here for lack of space.

Pls tell your IPOB brothers to kindly return back the guns they took from the soldiers they murdered.
