IfnobeGod20: Mr. Man, business is a risk as taught in our basic Economics. If the economy is crippled by those in government, is it the fault of Obi. Soludo said, the investment worth nothing, but the same investment that is employing over 10,000 Anambrans. Should those employed be taken back to labour market because the investment worth nothing. Thankfully, the investment wasn't done 10 years ago, it is the responsibility of a seating governor to monitor the progress of the government investment to know the needful thing to do, whether to terminate the investment or invest more. Also, every sane person know that every enterprise now face economy downturn and everyone of them are now having issue because of the bad economy environment created by the present government. Even the petty businesses are having it rough to make returns. As at 2021 Nigeria's biggest brewery - Nigerian Brewery's had a total staff strength of 2740 staffs so please explain how 10,000 anambrarians are employed by that brewery. Also you're quite illiterate because the usual sale of shares is based on ROI... so if its ROI then do you accept a loss or do you just go ahead and keep the stock while waiting for when it rebounds so you can dump it? Just so you know... Governments do not invest in companies except critical assests like Refineries, Roads (Tolls), Power, Water, Transportation etc. |

puzzlegate: Going by your lame assumption, there is therefore no point going to school since every information taught in the school are already there in the Library. Does this make sense to you ? If it's in the books, is it also there in the brain ?. It's like you are Apc. They hardly think clean ! Actually I think you need to go to school cos you have comprehension issues... In both the analogue and digital ages, any information about different fields of endeavor you want is in a book or now online... school via its teachers teach you how to understand and apply these information. Now there are people who do not go to school but are home schooled by their parents. There are those who never went to school at all but are better money managers and more investment savvy than even bankers and other finance coy employees. Like I stated earlier, you're prolly an illiterate who is easily moved by words not reality... quoting useless statistics that only ignorant people care bout. |

IfnobeGod20: Any party and her candidate joking with statistics is doom because the business of government is showcase in numbers or figures. It is ridiculous in this statistical age for a candidate and his supporters to come out to say, is it statistics we go chop, not knowing it is same statistics government use to measure progress, plan policy and distribute resources. Funny to the bone such a man called himself an accountant and he even claimed in one of his outing that he got to the peak of his career why working for Mobil. A man that only worked for less than 10 years in all claimed he got to the peak of his career and I asked, how? In accounting field there are 1. Tax accountants 2. Auditors 3. Forensic accountants 4. Staff/Management accountants 5. CPA’s 6. Investment accountants Etc The basis of accounting is to tell you where you are and review where you’re coming from and suggest things you need to do… BUT accountants do no solve issues … that is where the statistics jibe comes in. In school do failures compare each other ? No it’s those on first class/2.1 who have time to wanna compete or better their classmates in same bracket others just wanna “graduate” Statistics no be wetin we go chop! If Nigeria was working people won’t be “ japaing” daily would they? If our universities were working people won’t be running abroad even Ghana/Benin rep. to school would they? According to Statista Nigeria’s inflation rate in 2021 was 16.9% and by end of 2022 it was projected to DROP to 16.1% - but as at October it was 21.09% so please don’t act like statistics is not just for MEASURING PERFORMANCE. Let Obi if he is worth his salt tell his concrete things . |

I may not know if Peter Obi did excellently well as a governor, but one thing I can say is that he has gotten pretty better over the years and as far as this election season is concerned, he is far above other contenders. Nobody match him. Truely, the votes Tinubu will get in this election will determine how many stupid and mad people we have in this country. The problem here is that you’re not educated… so a man researched something and said it… something anyone with access to the internet can easily source and that impresses you? Illiteracy! |

Sanchez01: The same way Tinubu thinks a credit rating system will work in Nigeria. That has been the hallmark of Tinubu's campaign, innit? How does Tinubu plan on implementing a credit system when we barely Credit Bureau Rating organizations?
Obviously you don’t even know that we have very active credit bureau organizations and in fact our credit system is evolving very very fast - which is also where the CBN GSI clauses come in sef. Google is your friend.
The fact that the minimum wage is N30k is because there are elements who benefit from the rot. What the hourly rate would be determined by a couple of factors but the endgame is that Nigerians won't be subjected to slave labour any longer.
-Determined by what ? Minimum wage is 30k yet till today people are earning 15k -20k in unstructured organizations … a hourly rate system only further impoverishes people.
How do people move to work and home on a daily basis? Please, say something else.
Going to ONE job is different from going to several , your ignorance does not tell you that the idea behind hourly wages is ensuring one person can work 2 to 3 jobs like in Europe. SMH
Are/Were you educated in Nigeria at all? Federal Universities all over in Nigeria boasts of better power supply than every residential areas in Nigeria. Bulk of why we protested often in our time as students was because of outages or disruptions. How do they generate these powers in the first place? So, what are you yapping about?
Nigerian universities do no boast of better power supply , Nigerian universities run diesel generators and the cost is passed onto students via school fees dummy?? So who bears the cost of installing extra generators and footing the supply bills? Government or students?
I think there's a problem with your understanding of local governments and the history of Nigerian politics. Even the countries you referenced, all have local governments. We had monarchial systems in place long before Nigeria became a republic in 1963. That said, our monarchial systems used to play local government and sectional heads. Pray tell, why does your Tinubu's Lagos have an Oba when there is a governor? Or why does Oniru have an Oba when there is an Eti Osa LGA?
What power does Oba of Oniru have ? You see why I said y’all don’t think?? The LG chairman can easily dislodge Oba Oniru if he messes up that is why they always stan with the state government by ensuring community support. State governor can withdraw staff of office anytime he likes- that is why it’s a REPUBLIC ?
You don’t even know what a REPUBLIC is so engaging you on it is futile.
[s]And what roles will the traditional rulers be given? What authority? From Alaafin to Olubadan to the baales? Lol[/s]
Coming from the supporters of Ba Ba Blu, classic!

With the orosanye report, do you know how much the FG will be able to save?
Stop your pessimism or stupidity, whichever it is. Please give me a figure on how much hospitals generate per day Also tell me what mode of power they will be on … for example in most schools generators are turned on from 7pm to 3am and it’s the students who pay for it via tuition fees. Sanchez01: But you believe a demented Tinubu who wants to implement the US credit system? You had better vote Peter Obi for the very sake of your future. Hourly rates in Nigeria should have been a thing by now, not the horrible exploitative monthly rates.
I’ll take this over one with the stolen childhood picture of Donald Duke. Because the average OBIdient does not think let me ask you how hourly rate will work in Nigeria? -What will be the new minimum wage rate/hour? -With our poor transport sector how will one be moving from job to job in time? When most times 1 hour isn’t enough to get anywhere. -For the Universities he wants to give 24hour light , how will they afford it? Who is paying ?? What mode of power? For the traditional rulers what functions will they even be doing? In a Federal presidential system of government? This is a REPUBLIC not a MONARCHY. Jamaica, Australia, New Zealand etc are constitutional monarchies not republics in a Republic a Monarch has NO ROLE. And what roles will the traditional rulers be given? What authority? From Alaafin to Olubadan to the baales? Lol Please please y’all don’t question anything at all. |

Penguin2: The Labour Party Candidate finally released his Manifesto last night. It is a 72 page document containing what he called his “pact with the Nigerian people”.
For the benefit of those who have read it, and those who might never read it anyways, these are the few revolutionary takeaways from the document as itemized by this Twitter user.
1) Every life will now be sacred. One life, two lives, or hundred lives, no Nigerian life will be lost without swift and deserved punishment. It will be an end to the scenario where an entire village will be massacred in their sleep and not single culprit is arrested to face justice.
2) Uninterrupted Power supply in Federal Universities and Federal Teaching Hospitals.
3) Power Revolution through investment in Solar Systems and Wind Turbines.
4) Implementation of the Orosanye Report to cut cost of governance.
5) Introduction of Hourly Rate Salary Structure as opposed to Monthly Rate Salary Structure and the criminalization of non-payment of workers by both public and private institutions.
6) Introduction of Football and Basketball Leagues in all the States of the Federation through partnership with state governments, to provide employment and for development of talents in those field of sports.
7) Traditional Rulers will be legally recognized as part of a level of government with constitutionally recognized functions.
8] Our Policing System will be restructured into Federal, State and Local Government Police.
The document is a realistic one with most things in it very achievable and expected to be funded by either the Private Sector or through a Public Private Partnership which removes, to an extent, the question of funding.
Nlfpmod Mynd44 Na school wey you no go dey worry you lol Except implementation of the Orosanye report nothing there is feasible |

LasisiAyodeji: At the dying minutes of preparation ahead of the 2022 FIFA WORLD CUP, Senegalese talisman Sadio Manè was withdrawn from the team that would represent Senegal at the football festival in Qatar. His immediate withdraw, was seen as a let down to the already high spirit of the newly crowned African champions. However, whilst analysis are being given on Senegal's chances without Manè, we must not be quick to forget that in 2002, Senegal under the tutorage of Bruno Metsu and the inspiration of players like Toni Silva, El-Hadj Diof, Tony Camara, Aliou Cisse, Papa Bouba Diop and Ferdinand just to mention a few, got to the quarter finals before they lost out through a golden goal against Turkey. Ever since, the nation team hasn't really done well in major tournaments until 2019 when, they had succeeded in gathering some of the finest players Africa has to offer on the global stage. The resultant is that, they became champions of Africa for the very first time in February 2022. Exactly 20 years after they had lost out on penalties to Cameroon. Though comprising of a highly talented set of players, one might begin to downplay the chances of Senegal's surprise element in Qatar due to the absence of the inspirational Sadio Manè. At the same time, if we look holistically at the depth in their squad, one might see reasons why this team can make it as far as the semi finals and possibly lift the trophy. Senegal wey no fit pass group stage? |

ZombieSlayer1: the difference is that Obi's own isn't for the camera. He has always been like that even after his tenure as governor. Every single person I know who has met him only have good things go say about him. I saw him once when I went to Anambra for a Thanksgiving service. I was expecting him to go to the front as politicians usually do but he sat where he saw space in the middle row. My friend who invited me to the church told me that's how he has always been, even when he was governor.
The man is very different from your average Nigerian politician, that's why his fellow politicians don't seem to like him very different is not what i want to vote. slivertongue: If Obi wanted to join PDP as governor he would have and no one would have stopped him. He brought Obiano and Obiano wouldn't have argued over the choice of a platform. Obi stood with APGA, got a governor reelected on the platform and moved on to avoid a clash, same Obiano has done. APGA is not where you just leave o... ok if Obi did so well why hasn't he been able to deliver Anambra state to PDP in over 2 attempts? Look at LP governor Mimiko for example , he won under LP but upon winning refused to move to ACN - after Tinubu had backed him up to his court victory, whereas Oshiomole same period left LP for ACN as agreed when they sought Tinubu's support... Today LP is dead in Ondo state because Mimiko left to PDP ... so why isn't APGA dea in Anambra? It is because APGA was founded in 2003 and Obi was their first ever candidate in Anambra and won against Ngige,,, so why isn't he able to pull weight and deliver Anambra back to PDP? APGA to anambra is like ANC to South africa. Obiano has not moved on... he is only taken a break from politics.. he cannot leave APGA after all his wife is contesting under APGA. Obiano just wan vibe , enjoy life. Heard he behaved same way as a banker. him no like stress. PO left APGA so he could enter mainstream politics... there's a difference. |

1. Peter Obi is the first governor of Anambra State whom rule under the platform of Apga
If Peter Obi had not perform it will be difficult for Obiano to win . It will be very hard for even Soludo to be a governor under the platform of Apga.
Peter Obi protected the people with his policies, that's why soludo could still be able to contest under apga despite buhari Saga This is why we say you guys did not follow politics... if Orji Uzor Kalu could win under PPA and install Theodore Orji under PPA then Theodore Decamp tp APGA before decamping to PDP , he then installed Ikpeazu who hasnt even performed but guess what he is about to install next person. Obiano won because of agreement with PDP led FG government but worse still Obiano refused to defect alongside Peter Obi which is why up till today they are enemies. Sha know this and know peace... APGA is a party founded by Dim Ojukwu... it is a party the Anambra people have a very sentimental attachment to. hence they're strength. all they need is someone to make dem dominate eastern politics then go mainstream...
