Frosbel have complained in multiple threads about Atheist derailing Christian threads yet he keeps on attacking Atheist. Why cant he just mind his business and allow them to live their life the way they want to or on the alternative, provide sound arguments to convert them to his religion?

How can you boast of 12,000 jobs in 6 months in a country of about 160 million people where unemployment and underemployment rate is very high? Also what is minimum wage in Nigeria? Is most government job not equivalent to underemployment itself except you get a political job? How do you feel when you are told that 1 senator's salary can pay the salary of over 1000 government workers? Also how can an economy work when there is no power, corruption is at its peak, the law enforcement agencies are not ethical in their approach to their jobs etc. A normal business man will prefer to go to China to produce their goods and import them to Nigeria because the Chinese have better comparative cost advantage over Nigeria even after factoring the cost of to and fro transportation, tax and excise duties you'll pay on your products.
Also, I noticed that many of us living a good life mistake our good state as a reflection of the entire country. Most of us are the tiny fraction of the population living in the middle class and above and so our status is not a true reflection of the general populace. The common man is suffering in Nigeria and they constitute more than 70% of the population. We practically have no working government in Nigeria.

The bolded and coloured part of your write up is a direct indication that many of you Christians just deceive yourselves from reality. How can you say 'The darker it becomes,the better we 're as a nation' without proposing a single practical remedy to the lingering problems of the country? The reason why many Atheist argue on this forum is because of the discrimination they face in Nigeria for being a non believer in something that doesn't make sense to them. If I am not criticize for not believing in something that is like a fairy tale to me, why would I spent time arguing with the believers?
People will just quote from the bible and call you a fool because you refuse to accept the bible god. But they forget that the bible is not the only religious book out there and there are several other school of thought about the existence of a god. What give Christians the exclusive right to say theirs is the truth when they have no basic proof to support their claims and they cannot disprove the claims of other religions either?

thanks for pointing me to the rankings which i also saw or myself yesterday but did you see Johns Hopkins in the ranking. Its not there and this is because its the best hospital in the USA and i daresay the world and like i said its the number in training of mdical doctors and allied sciences. It has produced more noble laureates than any institution in the same class world wide but that is beside the point. it was an aside. The point i made are two folds- that i couldnt find an independent source for the emmenuel story outside NIgerian bloggers and that if its medicine, Yale does not rank higher than Johns Hopkins in the training of medical doctors.

I quite agree on the medical ranking but sometimes it takes more than just the ranking when making a decision. Harvard, Yale,or Princeton on your CV no matter what you have studied, already open alot of doors and opportunity for you in this world. It is even more difficult sometimes to get into these Ivy League universities to study programmes where these schools are not ranked as number 1 than getting into thesame porgram in other universities where that program is ranked as number 1.

Africa has always been the cradle of civilization. Egypt is not in Africa by happenstance, it has been there for thousands of years, and if you went to Egypt today, you would see pyramids built with precision, absolute precision, that still baffles a lot of white scientists and engineers today. To top it all up, the builders erected and sculptured monoliths that look like us: Big/full lips, wide nose and prominent head; all these features show they were Africans/Blacks. To get to the spine of my comment, slavery did erase a lot of about who we were; which was the intent of it, and its only question of time, we will be reinventing ourselves as the fathers and mothers of civilization!

The world have moved far ahead of the ancient Egyptian civilization and the sooner African realise that the better for them. In as much as I understand your frustration, do you expect the bigger world to take blacks race serious with the high level of poverty and lack of growth on the African continent? I'm not trying to be anti African but raising a reality of what is happening in Africa.
