Haven't heard of just stable rom, it's either global stable or Chinese stable, otherwise it may turn out to be a developer rom. I stand to be corrected.

Based on feedbacks from this thread , it's the Chinese Stable.

The updater cannot change my ROM from "Stable" to "Global Stable". It's only for OTA updates, I guess.

Well, well, well…. September is sure ‎shaping up to be the month of the Biggest phone battles ever witnessed and one of the major players, or should I say, Gladiators – the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 just got announced officially….and boy is it ready for WAR!!!

The Redmi Note 4 features a 5.5in AMOLED 1080x1920p FullHD screen which runs on a set of 10-core MediaTek Helio X20 CPU.

Shipping with either a 2 or 3GB RAM supported by either a 16 or 64GB ROM expandable via microSD to 128GB‎, the Redmi Note 4 blurs the lines between a midrange and high-end smartphone.

In the camera department, the Redmi Note 4 fields a likely Samsung 13MP main camera with dual LED flash and a 5MP selfie shooter up front. Directing the affairs on this Note 4 is Android’s OS 6.0 and a non-removable 4100mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner graces the rear end too to complete it’s armoury with Dual SIM support.


The 2GB/16GB variant is expected to sell for $135 while the 3GB/64GB variant is said to sell for $180.

8 weeks... note that the opportunity has an expiry date.

I think you have 8 weeks (please confirm that) to apply for a remark from the date that your results came out otherwise you would not be able to exercise that right.

So you have to make up your mind quickly. It's not something that you can afford to waste time on.

However, if you are confident that you done a good job and also have 15k that you are not afraid of losing, you can give a shot.

A number of people that I know got positive remarks in Writing this season that I have come to the conclusion that the examiner involved should be changed

My wife's score moved from 6.5 to 7.5 after remark.

I must confess, the waiting period was not easy.

And from what I'm seeing, your phone has 3gb ram, 32gb ROM, Hexa-core Max 1.8Ghz which means it's the snapdragon 650, and that processor is the chipset that holds the 16MP camera.
You're using the Prime version

If you are in Lagos, please go to ICAN office at Oyingbo to get the copies. The Librarian will help you a great deal. It is of no use sending the documents for assessment without including the detailed syllabus.

Hello gurus in the house. My wife qualified as ACA in 2005 but the ICAN syllabus that we have been able to lay our hand on so far is that of 2005. Does it matter?

We are banking on the fact that the courses she took before qualifying were stated on page 12 of the 2005 syllabus as "Old Syllabus" but the course details were not given. It is noteworthy that most of the courses were still carried over into the 2005 syllabus.

Also, we were only able to get photocopies of her University syllabus which we are proposing to have certified by a notary public. CA preferred "coloured copies". Any ideas?

I used CA for my assessment and I used PTE academic, they dont accept general. just make sure your wife has 65 across all bands.your wife will also need to submit ICAN syllabus,ICAN transcript, ICAN Certificate alongside her accounting degree certificate or the degree certificate she's presenting for assessment. She should also get a letter of good standing from ICAN. Using bsc degree alone will be assessed as an associate degree rather than being equivalent to Australian bsc.

I currently use Redmi Note 3 Pro. MIUI version as seen on the phone is MIUI 8.0 Stable 8.0.1.0 (LHOCNDG)

I also noticed that there a lot of Chinese apps and Chinese language characters sometimes pops up when i am chatting or typing generally.

Someone on this forum told me that my phone has a Chinese ROM based on the above information; I would like to verify that. He further said that i may need to install a Global Stable ROM.

Do I really need to do this?

Would this automatically remove all the Chinese apps and alphabets on my phone?

Would appreciate your input because I do not want to do anything that will render the phone unusable.
