Those advising Ambode against Tinubu are trying to wreck him totally. You can't condemn a system than produced you. If not for the Tinubu and APC structure, one on one Jimi Agbaje is head and shoulder above Ambode and would have defeated him a thousand times over.
One thing neophytes don't know about Lagos politics and Tinubu's Leadership is that, tinubu is an ordinary man controlling an extraordinary loyal armies of lieutenants in charge of the nooks and crannies of Lagos (Aregbe - Alimosho, Ganiyu Solomon - Mushin, Obanikoro - mainland etc), strip tinubu of this men and he will be stark naked, Obasanjo tried it by signing Obanikoro . You can afford to offend Tinubu, his lieutenants will plead on your behalf (as in the case of fashola) , But when you collectively offends this lieutenants then Tinubu will have to choose between you and his loyal foot soldiers. Your guess is as good as mine.
Ambode will just end like Pedro, Akerele and Obanikoro.
Apc card carrying members, Agberos, Market women and artisan group are enough to give APC victory at the polls.

The man was the last man standing in Osun PDP after other heavy politicians left the party....he kept hope alive. The Adelekes were in APC that time. Isiaka died, the dancer contested for senate first in APC and decamped after the ticket eluded him. He found succor in PDP and is today a senator. Had he not defected, PDP would have had another candidate and within a short time, the decamped bread and butter dancer
displaced other party men in the race. Has PDP not tried for this spoilt kid who is at best a dumb dancer?
Out of greed, he pounced on the guber elections and emerged the flag bearer in a most controversial commando and gestapo manner that soon saw other aspirants leaving the party they had nursed while some guy was dancing in the States. Omisore of cause left the party for SDP and others petitioned the NWC to no avail.
There is a way people don't like to be treated and you don't treat them like that.

Omisore's working for APC is just a noble engagement.
APC may not be the best for Osun, but for Omisore, let APC win.

Yorubas are the most RESPECTFUL tribe in the country.

We see that on a daily basis from our friends, neighbors, staff and church members.

We give them tuale for being just so respectful to anyone older than them.

Gov Ambode, it is with sadness i hear you grovel because of your political ambition. I never wanted you to be elected in 2015 because of the party you represented and one or 2 issues but I must say, you came and blew my reservations away. Its sickening that you dont know your worth else you wont allowing any one individual or group determine your fate as though they have the final say.

Even if you only serve for a term, you have done well because the issues of Lagos cannot be tackled fully in 4 years but a step and process must first be implemented which you have done.

Now if you decide you still have strength and grace to go one more term, its alright but WHO TOLD YOU IF TINUBU OR MANDATE GROUP do not endorse you, you can't win? Since when did they have the final say over your life and Lagos?(Except there is something you are not telling us)

Personally, I hope you stay and fight for yours or leave and fight for yours in another party but either way, FIGHT FOR YOURS. The backbone of Tinubu must be broken in Lagos and if this is how it would be for it to happen, I'm down for it.
