there is a logic to this thing u pple do that i dont understand.

1st you or rather this is the third username that is claiming to be one of a unique 5 in nigeria, how come?

then you truly expect someone, who does not know you from adam, to walk into some bank and pay money into an account and expect something in return, from a faceless, of no known address person?

do people actually do this? i mean i understand pple paying for fbt that someone configures for them right in their front but this?

madlady:
Very true, and avoid certain people, they will "dig the eye out of your head" (jamo speak) sometimes your own family are the main culprits.
WORD!!!!

sigh, it aint easy, but a person needs to protect the core of his/her soul even if the outer part is hard, no need to be all hard hearted inside.

u can imagine ur own blood, family that is, going out to bad mouth u to a person who can potentially better ur lot, and as it so turns out this family is one u actually sacrifice for to advance. this is not a "when" or "that time" story, currently denying urself for, yet,

if we decide to be like "them" then where lies our moral compass to know that they are wrong? its all good!! smiley

Phones › Re: Nokia N900 Hacked To Run Android 2.2! by 4llerbuntu(m): 5:25pm On Jun 28, 2010
^^^ nah was referring to BB, have seen like 2-3 posters here on nl complain abt the bluetooth, had a user tell me one on one too. found it hard to believe

well for bluetooth becoming obsolete, i dunno any fone that can transfer via wireless without a router!!, so for now, bluetooth it is, but really for any fone to to have bluetooth complaints is ludicruous, that tech has been around for ages, i used to have a 2004 fone that has bluetooth albeit very slow

i dunno nada abt iphone, you wont catch me saying nada abt it, not in my world! grin grin grin, but seeing all the talk about custom fw and jailbreaking etc has started making me interested!, i normally cannot be interested in a ipod with castrated fone capabilities!! seems some fun is to be had messing with it!

Phones › Re: Iphone (ios4) Custom Fw by 4llerbuntu(m): 12:50pm On Jun 28, 2010
@ N3rve, silly question time, how come ur screenie resolution is kinda clear?
when i do screenies, i tend to either make the res small to fit 200kb or have to use an editor to reduce it, ur pwnage shot looks really clear
Phones › Re: Nokia N900 Hacked To Run Android 2.2! by 4llerbuntu(m): 11:48am On Jun 28, 2010
u know about BB, those folks started out by having the concept of a phone that could network and chat in a particular network setup, and also send and receive mail,
so i guess they simply really didnt put enough into it, and are just being forced to keep up with nokia et-al as per looks and functionalities

because i find it strange that in this day and age, to find people complain about bluetooth functionality on a fone, i mean for crying out loud, bluetooth? of all functions? how simple is it to have decent bluetooth, even china fones have decent bluetooth!!

somebody somewhere needs to come up with a service like BIS on another platform and that RIM will be out of business.
funny thing is i doubt if 40% of the BB toting Nigerians actually subscribe to BIS sef, its all about been seen with a BB and pressing the buttons all the time grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Romance › Re: Being A Nice/descent Person Without Being Taken Advantage Of. by 4llerbuntu(m): 6:36am On Jun 28, 2010
the trick to this nice guy gig is knowing that being taken advantage of is the secret to being nice.

it comes with the turf, YOU GONNA/HAVE to be taken advantage of!!
way i see it is that you learn to put a boundary up on what you can afford to lose to your "nicety" and what you cannot!! pure and simple. there are some stuff i will never give up to another, some extent i will not go, some inconvinience i will not suffer for anyone, but then that has to be 10 percent of my life, the other 90 is there to be taken advantage of, just do not leave the mark of a fool!!!!!

this kinda thinking robs you personally of good things in life and believe me someone is watching.
e.g. i met a girl like 6 months ago, watched her since then carefully, cos i figured there was sumtin going on with me, i was behaving too mushy around this one. finally accepted that maybe i was falling really hard for this one!!
now i immediately for some reason i dont understand classified her as "potential" (dont ask me why, crazy)
but frankly, she has one big downside that kills all of it, SHE IS TOO DAMN SELFISH!

i dont mean material terms or whatever, but i noticed that in everything, this girl redefines, "learning to love yourself" even to her loved ones (siblings). not the slightest inch can she give out,.
how am i supposed to give my very nice self to such woman? she needs anor selfish man, which i am not, and to make matters worse she is a holy roller!, Jesus has a lot to do there!!

believe me i know the meaning and believe in loving yourself, but there is a line. YOU GET WHAT YOU DESERVE!!
Phones › Re: Nokia N900 Hacked To Run Android 2.2! by 4llerbuntu(m): 5:32am On Jun 28, 2010
thats not really a hack is it? i always thot that fone was waiting to be utilised in various ways.

well i know it will run Meego and android or any os u dare throw at it. itsnot locked to a firmware or whatever, its pure hardware power added to opensource ware!!

anyway i remain convinced thats the best fone ever made. and b4 we start a debate, BB fans cannot undrstand the above, the joy of having hardware that belongs to u, that u can overclock, u can do anything, that has a terminal u can use to do anything internally. A FONE THAT IS 100% YOURS!!!! bliss

if i hear one mumu say again that sims are compulsorily registered outside nigeria , that person is very foolish!!!!

so you are so dumb not to know that its only phones on contract lines that are registered? they are cheaper, cost is spread over time thus people prefer it, and details are needed to verify if u can pay and if ur actually there to pay!!

inspite of that no be those same phones dem dey bring come nigeria, wey una dey unlock? which even shows that quite clearly that idea no even dey foolproof. so many innocent peoples credit card and details don go into this scams!!

for nigeria sef, if u knew anything you would know that postpaid lines are also registered!!!

mumu people with mumu ideas, so when i want to register my sim, what will stop me from saying my name is Adamu Obama? have u even bothered to look at the requirements to register? check www.mtnonline.com for example, i need passport photos and thumbprint.
i can register through a proxy, and to cap it all this stuff is done through external agents, which in nigerian terms means another round of scamming, paying money to register just like national id card (abi u dont know some pple paid to register?)

THIS IS JUST ANOTHER MONEY MAKING JAMBOREE WITH FULL BACKING OF THE TELCOS!!! tseewww!!!

^^^^ i tire o!! people serving at nnpc towers VI, that one na NYSC?

served in Kaduna, Makarfi LGA, zaria 2008 Batch B
depending on what side i look at it from, it was either hell or mad fun esp camp. terrible living conditions, actually left a job to go serve so it was a cruel shock, but then i cant remember a more carefree 3weeks!, always high on something, no inhibitions, plenty fruitless toasting etc etc

posting, cant decide which was more annoying, the school in the "town" village, or its stark illiterate students who were too scared to drop the veils or scarves and give u some sugar. plus the world"s dumbest Local Inspector, redefined the word local! blocked my 3 months allawii. terrible on the whole grin grin grin grin grin grin grin
Phones › Re: Nigeria Threatens To Shut Down Telecom Operators Breaking Rules by 4llerbuntu(m): 6:46am On Jun 27, 2010
simply means if u lose ur fone, ur gonna spend time at force hq in a cell explaining to dumb policemen how ur line was used in kaduna to commit a crime while ur in lagos.

as in nigerian police?

woe betide u too if as will become apparent, sim cloning will gain ground here. trust naija to make better use of criminal resources better than the inventors. wait till someone clones dora"s number to scam oyinbo, then we shall see

besides our thieving operatyors are only happy for the new streams of income!! it suddenly becomes more profitable to retrieve sims!!!

anyway, i can bet my bottom kobo, by october, there will private activation of sims from ur bedroom in naija, when oluwole.ning neverdie, they want trouble they will get it double
