that's how me my friends and my daughter went for one owanmbe and I decided to wear show me what your mama gave you outfit (monostrap micro mini gown) and then an older lady came from behind and tapped me saying my dear I want to talk to you hope you won't feel offended. Our culture is our culture and there's no shame in that. Like someone pointed out earlier, cultures and trends do evolve over time. Even the foreign influences you mention have had cultural changes and are still changing. They too have nud.is.ts camps, beaches, and even towns in both Europe and the USA and they are proud to flaunt what they've got without embarassment. So who determines the shamefulness you mention?

What other alternatives were there to communal bathing? Even the Roman did it too.

That aside, my guess is that communal bathing was down to practicality and convenience. Additionally, they must have felt there was safety in numbers as per it was better for them to go as a crowd at certain times of the day rather than individually, as and when they pleased. The men being there would have provided that extra protection to their women folk and children from opportunistic raiders / kidnappers.

You still don't get it. There is nothing Western about an African lady going about her business in the hot tropical sun have undressed. It was happening long before the foreigners arrived. And there was nothing indecent about it. What's indecent are your lustful thoughts towards women dressed in what you perceive to be "inappropriate" attire.

to be fair to our women, the climate in africa does not favour full-clothing. visit anywhere remotely close to the tropical climate we have in africa & every chic is bikini-clad. how then are our ladies immoral? what is even immoral? if you see a woman in bikini by the pool-side or lekki beach, would you say she's immoral?

why is it any different if you see her dressed like that on the street? if you can control yourself on the beach, where's that same self-control on the street? really, everyone needs to change their orientation.

Then final stage, the termination stage: your future, your talent, your goal, your destiny all terminated.

FINAL RESULT: Instead of successful man, you have a miserable masturbator. Instead of an achiever, you have an empty all hope lost person. Instead of successful self employed graduates, you have have unemployed youths, thieves, kidnappers, prostitutes, boko harams because there brain has been severaly damage by porns no more sense of reasoning.

Porn also leads to broken marriages, country in chaos. All these traced to pornography. If you love your self, future, destiny, born and unborn children SAY NO TO PORNOGRAPHY CONTENTS TODAY. The decision you make today will affect your future tomorow even your generations
