KingZaddy: I will find it highly offensive if a foreigner maybe from Ghana who plays in Nigerian league celebrates the team win with Ghanaian flag
That’s why you are primordial xenophobe who lives in a primitive tribalistic country... The EPL is proud of being able to attract players and fans (and thus cash) from around the globe! >
MimiBiggs: "I am Finished"- A married Nigerian Parking Attendant cries out after being caught trying to woo a 15 year old school girl in Lambeth, South East London.

Karlovych: Jeff Ogunseyi has gotten himself in trouble for chasing a minor, that's the only thing they know how to do. UK authorities need to send him back to Nigeria, he can be employed by the drug baron at Bourdillion
He’ll be sent back only after some PRISON time... >
NwaAmaikpe: A part of me thinks God just gave him an upfront gratuity but he was foolish enough not to recognize it. He has just ended up tempting his bosses with that money because at the end of the day it may/will be misappropriated.
And if it gets misappropriated, his good deed will turn a sin because my Bible tells me in Matthew 18 :7 "For it is necessary that temptations come, but woe to the one by whom the temptation comes!"
Asides this, if our Lord Jesus Christ with all his wealth, could covert an abandoned Colt for his personal use, how much more an underpaid police officer in a country where corruption is the only way out.
And we wonder why Nigeria is a corrupt s/hole... Someone who is honest is being denigrated for being honest.
Nigerians are the WORST thing to happen to Nigeria! SMH >
NwaAmaikpe: Lots of exaggerations in this story. No human can survive being starved for 8months. Secondly, she's is in isolation because she is mad and not because her guardians just want to maltreat her.
But the biggest form of hypocrisy is to expect people to treat a mad person with the same decency they'd treat a normal person.
Expect hypocrites to get sentimental about the truth but remember that none of their mad relatives are in a psychiatric home. It is Nigeria for fvcks sake.
Bad is bad but don't forget that mad is mad too. You can house a dog but will you house a hyena? The fact that she is mad justifies this supposed 'bad' route they've chosen to contain her and protect themselves.
My friend's maternal aunt who haboured her mad nephew learnt the hard way. She'd feed him and hit the chaplet on his head praying for his restoration. Everyone advised her to chain him behind the house but she said it was dehumanizing.
Two months later, she didn't wake up because he had sliced out her heart when she was asleep. When asked, he said she was too kind-hearted so he wanted to help preserve the heart.
Moral. Never judge people when they treat mad people in a certain way.
The most DISGUSTING “moral” I have ever had the misfortune to read... We’re defined by how we treat the WEAKEST and LEAST FORTUNATE, and this screams PRIMITIVE! >

focus7: This is good, Aljazeera is an Islamic biased sponsored station to air manipulative news.
DBlackCeazer: Not supporting any side, but Al Jazeera has been putting out a one sided story since the start of these chaos
How is that any different from FOX News or CNN putting out “one-sided” stories? Can you imagine the outcry if the Russians, the Chinese or even Syria attacked BBC or Reuters?
It’s a slippery slope when a state start militarily attacking the press... The only acceptable antidote to so-called “fake” news is to combat it with the so-called “truth”. >

You look at it from an angel, then u say Israel fired rockets into Gaza,’ then Israel is the bad guy, because they’re bombing Gaza, But then you take a step back in time, and you go, but Hamas fired rockets at Israel.’ Then Hamas is the bad guy. My point is to talk bout this beef you need to be able to measure time.. or how far you want to start it from..
Well said... Unfortunately, as with many NL discussions, most of the comments are based on ignorance. >

Lagos has indeed made some people and at the same time destroyed many and rendered them useless.

YoungLionken: Government only knows how to destroy, disorient but not repairs, rehabilitation..
They chased hawkers and traders without appropriate relocation, same with bike riders..
Where are they supposed to stay now?..
It says everything about many Nigerians that you think those squatting under the bridge, destroying the environment and perpetrating crimes, as well as Okada men driving against traffic, driving dangerously and causing hundreds of unnecessary deaths and disability are deserving of support while the government trying restore order are the “destroyers” and “disorienters”. Dubaiguy: Happy Eid-El-Fitr guys. A lot of Nigerians willing to come to UAE have been asking me these questions in my YouTube Videos' comment section and I decided to make an explanatory video plus a thread here about the answer.
Bear in mind that UAE have seven Emirates and of these seven Emirates, in my opinion, these two states - UAE and Abu Dhabi are the best options available to Nigerians.
Please whatever you do, do not go to Ajman. Ajman is like the computer village in Lagos. It is the headquarters of dubious people that act as Agents. It is also popular for other atrocities, and that's why the place is prone to constant raiding by the authorities. Avoid Ajman. My video has more information about this.
Now we have two valid options; Abu Dhabi and Dubai. Which should you go for? Let's compare the features of the two states
1) RENT in Abu Dhabi is higher than the rent in Dubai(even with the hype.. surprised?) This is because Abu is the capital city, has a traditional setting, more Emiratis live there and they keep to the culture.
2) GROCERIES are cheaper in Dubai than Abu Dhabi. This is because there are more stores in Dubai than Abu Dhabi; big stores, supermarkets, small stores, grocery stands etc. Though the difference are not alot, a dirham here and there can make a huge difference.
3) TRANSPORTATION is easier in Abudhabi than Dubai.Abu Dhabi has a well planned road network which makes transport easy. Not also as busy as Dubai. Dubai has a lot of people, tourist attractions, fancy life, and busy lifestyle than Abu. So it's somehow congested. A saying goes " Dubai never sleeps, while Abu sleeps in the night"
4) JOBS? There is nowhere you stay in UAE that you can't get jobs. But from experience, Dubai has higher job opportunities than Abu, since it's like the hubbub of the emirate, many organizations and companies abound there.
5) SECURITY Abu Dhabi is more secure than Dubai. In fact, Abu Dhabi for some time now have been ranking as safest or second safest state in the world. Not that Dubai isn't very safe, but Abu ranks higher.
6) ENVIRONMENT FOR RAISING FAMILY Abu is much more quiet than Dubai ; Abu Dhabi is more like Ibadan or Osogbo while Dubai is like Lagos. Abu Dhabi has better greenery and more relaxed. While Dubai has more places to visit, centers of attraction.
7) LAW As expected, Abu Dhabi has stricter laws than Dubai. Before, you got to be 21 years or older before you can buy an alcohol in Abu but just 18 years in DUBAI. Though generally alcohol consumption rules has been relaxed, More Emiratis stay in Abu Dhabi and are more conservative.
For the sake of Nairalanders who don't read much, I will stop here, covered other info like salary, fancy life, beaches and other options in the source.
So where will you like to stay? You just have to compare the options and consider your preferences too. What's your purpose for coming to UAE? Jobs? Tourism? Fancy life or to raise a family? I hope this video helps you make a good choice. Please if you enjoy this, or learnt from it, don't forget to support my ministry (like/subscribe)
RealSolution001: Although nobody can predict the future but there are people who deliberately walk into unfavourable condition. As a writer of this article, age wise I'm due for marriage but I don't give a damn about it not until I'm able to get a good job that can guarantee me at least one bedroom. Besides, the path Nigeria is tilting towards economically demands one to use his head sufficiently when doing things that has future implications. I live in one room apartment as years now since I graduated from the University I haven't been able to find a good paying job. In this compound, we share toilet/bathroom with no specific place to call kitchen. You just have to create a space for your cooking and the gas cylinder returned inside after cooking. In fact, looking at the structure of the building, it wasn't designed to accommodate people in family setting but singles but today, agents and the lawyer have brought so many married people into the place.
Living in one room as family
There are four different married (legally or illegally) people living in the compound as thus:
Family A has husband, wife, 3 children and two relative all living inside I room.
Family B has husband, wife, 3 children (currently the wife is pregnant for the fourth child) and a relative inside one room.
Family C has husband, wife, 2 children (currently the wife is pregnant for the 3rd child) and also a relative living inside one room while
Family D has husband, wife, two children and two relatives and mother in-law living in one room. Crazy right? While this article is not in anyway intended to make jest of anybody but what I don't seem to understand is people living inside one room and still give birth to multiple of children into same. I mean are these people comfortable with their condition? Are they comfortable with poverty? To me, I think it's crazy. How do they cope? No privacy between the husband and the wife. Even the sex that led to their wives' current pregnancy, how, where and when did it happen when they have absolutely no privacy of their own. Also, these people can disturb. Is it because I'm not married? Always either asking for one thing or the other. "Abeg make I use your gas boil water for Garri. My own just finish". "Abeg you get Garri?" "Abeg borrow me 2k I go give you back". "Abeg u get Maggi?" "Abeg give me your toothpaste". "Abeg make I use your detergent" "abeg give me small pepper" and almost anything else you can think of. Haba! Habatically!! I'm tired please.
In my submission, I think government as a matter of urgency should do something about birth/population control in the country. Already, one of the factors that have given birth to the present state of Nigeria is over population which has led to high rate of unemployment, poverty and consequently, crime. Also, people should try to attend some level of financial comfortability before delving into family way. Me that is not married, no be say I stupid but things must be done right. May God bless me with a good job or capital for business so I can pack out of this place in no time.
