Their money, their problem. Let's look at it from another angle, it's business opportunity for the wine makers. The more yahoo boys and slay mamas, the bigger the profit, stupidity can be a curse and a blessing ![]() |
This election would have been so simple if PDP did not choose Atiku, if only they had the guts to bring in a fresh face with a strong pedigree. Unfortunately by choosing Atiku, Nigerians are faced with either not voting or voting for Sowore, both scenarios greatly harms Atiku and favors the incumbent. We can all shout and act as internet warriors but most are still yet to see the gravity of the situation, it's a LOSE-LOSE deal for the Nigerian people! |
You don't even have to set foot in Nigeria, if you are willing to spend a bit, you'll get a divorce certificate in less than a month. Like others have said get a lawyer, get photos of you and your soon to be former husband. Get witnesses to write a notarized letter attesting to the marriage. Within a month you're done! |
Eyinjuege2:A lot of what you wrote is just plain fallacy! I don't know about UK but in the U.S we have grants, scholarships and so on meant for specific children or spouse of certain organizations or employees of the universities. You'll find such grants mostly in non profit schools so I don't know what you're saying when you assert that there is no such thing as a non profit school. Now let's go back to the religious realm, I find it ridiculous thatbeing an active member of a church does not grant any benefit or discount when it comes to your children attending the schools built by the church. No one ever said free tuition but it should not cost an arm and leg for members of the church, to think otherwise is just plain greed. I know as Nigerians we often like to make sense when we are talking nonsense but the church itself does not pay tax, it is seen as a non profit religious organization surviving on donations, offerings and tithes from members, so it baffles me when such offerings and tithes are good enough to fund church buildings and raise finances for the church whenever it needs it but are not good enough to afford members certain discounts in school tuition....once again this is RIDICULOUS! |
This is rubbish, does this guy not have better things to discuss, like the emancipation of the Biafrian peoeple? Just saying ![]() |
am4truth:No one is stopping you from paying tithes, by all means please do but don't spread rubbish saying your successful is directly related to the tithes you pay and that God operates a tit for that system. I have never paid tithe and I'm well versed in the Bible. I've achieved more in 5 years than many will achieve in their lifetime so your theory is RIDICULOUS! |
Eyinjuege2:What's the purpose of the school? Is it for profit or non profit? These questions will help you decipher my train of thoughts. Your example of 5k is simplicity at its finest but even at that, those little amounts contributed to the completion of those shools, it just sounds silly that those same members could not derive any benefit from it, as for the friend you mentioned, his case is an anomaly. |
Eyinjuege2:Put a human in jail for 20 years and compare him or her to someone that is only allowed to go outside on weekends, naturally the person that gets to go outside would likely be happier. Now compare that person to someone that can go outside any time any day. This is the meaning of Nigerians happiness. When you see people paying tithes yet they owe house rent, they owe children's school fees, they live in face me face you while their pastors and G.O. live in mansions, it is not condemnation to advice such a person. Telling people they'll prosper by paying tithes yet their children cannot afford to go to the school you built, is that logical? Churches are running ponzi schemes and we all sit back and smile. COMEDY! |
Onliie:The government came from human innovation(Dictatorship, Royals, Democracy, Communism etc), God never gave a commandment to rule other humans, he just said "be", how you choose to be is up to you....lol |
KunmiRoxitaLTD:Faulty reasoning! Do you pay your tithes in expectation of tangible rewards? Tithes was never a guarantee towards upliftment or making heaven, it was never meant as a gate pass towards all the good things in life. God does not operate like the government, he is not tied down by elected bureaucracy. You pay taxes because it is dictated by the government, the benefits you reap from paying taxes should be the same as everyone who pays his or her taxes but tithing does not work that way. You pay tithes and you attribute the tangible rewards to it, does it mean those who pay taxes and are still living in poverty cursed? Are they serving a different God? If paying tithes=rewards, shouldn't it be the same reward for everyone? I mean when we look at your write-up critically it just does not make sense, the relationship between your cause and effect is weak! |
The rate at which people commit suicide nowadays is astonishing. Funny enough most people commit suicide over frivolous things such as losing a job, a loved one or being mocked. There was a time when I used to beg my friends for 20 Naira so I could buy fish for garri, there was a time when 50k was like a million Naira to me and a time when 1 million Naira made me feel like Dangote. Nowadays I've made hundreds of millions and I've come to appreciate the little things in life, like good health, a supportive friend or family member and safe flights to and from my destinations. I've learned that those without shoes would cry until they see those with one leg, those with one leg would cry until they see those without legs, those without legs would cry until they meet someone who is blind and someone that is blind would cry until he or she learns that a loved one or friend is no more....Perspective is the key to happiness, insead of being depressed about what you don't have, be excited about the little you do have! |
tstx:Your reasoning is flawed, let's look at a society like the U.S., since the late 1970s the amount of homosexuals have increased times 50, the more acceptable the society becomes, the more young and otherwise naive children would feel it is an acceptable lifestyle. Just like smoking, drugs, having premarital sex and so on, these behaviors are easily tansferred from one person to another. Now how does it affect me, imagine raising your children in an environment that encourages homosexuality and yet your faith is against it, how do you balance the equation? Now add that factor into an environment like Nigeria where poverty reigns supreme, how easy is it for one wealthy person to influence certain boys or girls into such lifestyle. We all like to talk about equal rights, rights to be gay and so on but it comes at a price, the whites do not want to admit this but the evidence is clear! |
Atiku, why you no settle this woman na, which kind wahala be dis, person wey don promise us Biafra via due process....Chai ![]() |
Guy you were ineffective, inefficient, clueless and overall a scapegoat of your inability to stand up to the cabals within your own government. Nigerians thought Buhari was the way out but alas we have seen him to be more of the same. He is all the things I've described aboove and more, he is plain out of touch with reaality and some might even call him WICKED! I believe old age and limited education is contributing to his ineffectiveness. All of you leaders, past and present have failed Nigeria. We had Obasanjo, the Yorubas did not progress. We had you GEJ and the South/South and/or South/East did not progress. We have Buhari now and the North is still as backwards as ever! You are all greedy pigs! |
abibun:Stop spewing trash, Buhari, Obasanjo, GEJ, all of them are looters! For you to say just because they have not been convicted by the court means they are not is just plain BS! Wake up! |
yinchar:My friend will you keep quiet! So youths don't have the authority to call out the elder ones and expose their corrupt ways? WTF does seniority have to do with politics and responsible governance? |
abibun:You are the definition of the Nigerian problem. Even when corruption and greed stares you in the face, you'll still use a foolish line like "Did they catch them" to justify the looters. All of them are corrupt, it is evident by the billions looted since independence, it's people like you that gives them the impetus to continue looting....SHAME! |
Admin401:Who said anything about Muslims? Why did you separate Northern Nigeria from Nigeria? In addition, by saying blacks could not run a successful nation, you indirectly implied that the whites are better at it, which was why I pointed out Malaysia and SA. Regardless, your argument lacks merit! |
uvie66:This is a foolish question, weren't most of the black race colonized/enslaved? How then should they have the economy of a G20 nation? Turn the clock back to the 1400s or the 1300s and then ask your question again. Read up on the Malian Empire and a guy named Mansa Musa I. |
Admin401:Come on stop cherrypicking! If the problem is black people, why haven't SA turned into Nigeria since 1993 or so? Ghana is better than Nigeria in so many areas apart from electricity but I won't even dwell on them because they have a much lower population. Nigeria is Nigeria, which one is Northern Nigeria? I used Malaysia as a reference because you seem to think that only countries ran by whites excel which is a FALLACY! The part that I do agree with you is that corruption and greed is ingrained deep within our subconscious, unless it changes we are in deep poo! |
Admin401:It's not about black people, it's about greedy corrupt people. Look at Ghana, is it controlled by whites? What about South Africa or Malaysia? We have a greed/corruption problem in Nigeria, it won't end until people chnage their mentality. |
BigIyanga:You're a dunce! Nigeria earned through crude oil but spends more servicing loans from IMF and subsidizing petrol, let's not talk about the military regime where much of the country's cash reserves were looted and the value of the Naira basically crashed. Your argument is like that of a child licking ice cream and wondering why it is melting....lol |
Admin401:How much money is spent on scientific research in Nigeria? How much do we invest in education? How does an engineering student invent or practice what was learned without stable electricity? How does a programmer or network analyst perfect their skills without stable electricity and/or internet? How much does the government invest in biochem trials? Even our local farmers do we empower them with the tools they need to become productive? We might have the resources but they are not readily available to those who can easily benefit from them. We have plenty of brain power but they are anguishly being supressed by lack of tools/opportunities. How do you explain a medical doctor beign average in Nigeria only to jet out and after just few years become one of the leading doctors in Alabama? |
Admin401:Who's talking about morality? We are talking about resources needed to advance a nation. You brought up these countries as a shining example of development and I informed you the catalyst which propelled their development. Compare the U.S. at 60 or 70 to Nigeria at its present state and you'll be surprised that we are actually developing at the expected rate. Now imagine if we could reduce corruption and retain ou best talents? What would hold us back from becoming as great as those advanced societies? |
Admin401:Are you comparing nations with strong history to nations emerging from colonization? America at 60 or 70 was pathetic, the country evolved on the labor of slaves, immigrants and so on to become what it is today. in Nigeria we don't have such luxuries, so we must either emancipate ourselves or continue our endless self-pity fiasco! |
nwanyionitsha:Hehehe....It's funny when you throw facts at people and they come back with lame rhetoric....lol |
Admin401:No need, we all know that the Nigerian environment and government does not create a suitable atmosphere for inventions. No stable electricity, high speed internet no dey. No wonder all our talents are being tapped by other countries...lol |
How can anyone blame the man? The useless parents still advised the daughter to stay in such a condition, probably because of the 1000 Naira he gives them monthly...SMH |
udemzy101:What you just wrote confirms that they vote based on emotions. If it wasn't about emotions then we would use pure logic but like you put it we vote based on ethnicity, political affiliations and so on, all these are emotional attachments. Now couple with the fact that we saw GEJ as a mna who had no shoes, Buhari as a poor man who could not afford to buy nomination form, these are sympathetic elements. When Nigerians start voting based on logic, we would be better off. |
BigIyanga:No but they rely on the brains of immigrants. Go and read up about the man who invented the fastest processor, go and read up about the search engine Algorithm which Google relies on and the brains behind it. For every success by these companies, there is a foreginer behind it. Even the CEO of Microsoft is a foreigner/immigrant so you are the UNINFORMED one my friend! |
nwanyionitsha:With all due respect, what you wrote is BS! The systematic decay of the economy under GEJ led to some of the failures of the Buhari administration. Granted we all thought Buhari was capble but he chose a wrong path which has made things worse; that does not absolve GEJ. You are making the mistake of thinking GEJ and Buhari met the economy under the same circumstances, even Okonjo sounded the alarm that Nigeria was going broke in 2014, have we all forgotten so easily? Please please let's call a spade a spade, they both failed woefully! |
udemzy101:That's the point, they are both inefficient, both clueless and both votes were ill used. It means it has nothing to do with intelligence, Nigerians vote based on emotions/sympathy. |
