hedgesfun:Trust me when I say the word 'natural' is not what you want to use when describing U.S livestock such as cows or chickens. It has become such an epidermic here that people are willing to pay two times or three times normal price for organic food such as natural cows or hormone free chickens. Now wouldn't it be a shame to start importing cows from such a country when we can easily breed such cows here in Nigeria? I'm not here to argue just going off of facts here in the USA! |
hedgesfun:Lol....hilarious, cows already pumped with chemicals better than natural cows from Nigeria? |
Day11: |
uwandukahuna:I am very much interested, for such a well composed package there should be a company website that I can go to for more information. Please provide the website url so that I can check it out myself, then I'll contact Mr. Emmanuel. Thanks! |
mployer:Going to China is not feasible for me due to job related obligations, you can send me an email at info@globalsynctechnology.com, I would like a more concrete explanation of what the business entails. Thanks! |
To me this is nonsense! Sure the company should be commended for helping a struggling citizen out but what has the company done so far for the unemployed graduates out there? What is being done for those that have spent 6 years of their lives in school only to search for a mediocre job for an additional 2 to 3 years? Are they trying to encourage university students to drop out of school and start hustling on the streets? Is the lesson here that education does not pay? Yesterday it was Jumoke the bread seller, today it's Abdullahi the suit wearing windshield wiper; if this is the way forward then the future is even more bleak for Nigerians than initially feared! There are many CEO's and future CEOs here on Nairaland, I challenge everyone of us to make it a priority to put development before profit. I challenge us all to find a way to turn things around, f*ck the government, the future belongs to the private sector and the entrepreneurial spirit! |
I'm sitting on about 30million in the bank just wasting away and I would like some guidance on the proper investment to put it on in Nigeria. I am U.S based but I come home frequently and also have trusted family and friends capable of representing me in 9ja. I would like a good business with excellent ROI, low to medium risk appetite and proven case studies. I am not in a hurry so I would be willing to entertain serious offers before making a decision, I prefer that the business comes from personal knowledge and I wouldn't mind the person with the business idea running the business for me in return for a share of the profit. In addition, if you are interested in a partnership, be prepared to submit a business plan which would undergo proper feasibility and regression studies. Thanks! |
No court or government can stop a union from protesting peacefully or going on strike, definitely NLC has lost its wings! |
Unfortunately this is the norm for most Nigerian women, poverty mixed with greediness and decreasing morals means that they can and shall do anything to get that money! This is why some morons would go and rob or steal just to satisfy a woman. The madness continues until one person ends up killing the other and that's when you get ****BREAKING NEWS*** or stories that touch ![]() |
If this news is true then there's hope for truth and genuineness in Nigeria politics! It's only the misinformed, ignorant buffoons that would argue against the removal of fuel subsidy while the country is facing astronomical debts! So Nigeria can save 2 Trillion per year just by removing fuel subsidy? That amount is enough to keep all the refineries working which in turn would lead to lower fuel price. Buhari might just be the blessing in disguise Nigeria truly needs! |
geekybabe:No one is spiting the girl, just saying it like it is, as I despise girls with low I.Q and zero morals. If any girl is foolish enough to think a pregnancy is going to help her tie down a man then such a girl should be ready for the consequences....case close!!!! |
It's simple, never bet with money you are not willing to lose! An average bettor does not understand the value of fundamental and technical research. They just go by luck and end up losing most of the time. I was a casual fan of sport betting since the year 2008 and now I'm professional. To me sport betting is a side gig because I have a well paying job and several investments to support that income. I have 3 rules which keeps me grounded: 1: Never bet more than 10% of my bankroll within any given day! 2: Never place a bet without using research tools such as: player's performance/injuries, weather, H2H match history and favorable odds! 3: Stay away from parlays unless you know what you are doing and when you parlay never go more than 4 teams! The 2015/2016 Football season: Profit of 160% from $1000 investment. The 2015 NFL season: Profit of 320% from a $2000 investment The 2015/2016 NHL Hockey Season: Profit of 180% from $500 investment. My total investment was about $3500 which is about 50% of my monthly salary after taxes. So as you can see I'm not risking any money I can't afford to lose! Sport betting is not for the shallow minded and definitely not for the undisciplined!!! |
donvat1:Obviously they are, it took over 4 years to slow them down! |
chillbabe:I think you've watched too many American movies. If our kids were raised up properly the African way, they will become much stronger than we give them credit for. Lots of kids grew up without a father and/or mother and still made it in life, as far as I'm concerned they've ironed out their issues, the only issue remaining is that of babymama trying to play the role of a wife instead of staying in her lane! |
geekybabe:Yeah she has every right to be in the child's life but does not have every right to come on another person's private property or event! In Nigeria, the father mostly gets the custody but in their case since it's mainly high profiled, they've worked it out amicably resulting in shared custody but there is no provision stating he must be friendly with her! By relevancy, I meant Davido's life not the child's life, she's just trying to use the child as bait and it won't end well for her! |
peculyachi:I know there are many kids here on Nairaland so I won't bother trying to educate your ignorant ass! Just to shut you up and show how ignorant you are, I've attached links which completely kills your theory. You can claim all the intelligence you want but it's clear to Nairalanders how foolish you truly are......drops mic! April 2014: http://www.quicknews-africa.net/boko-haram-kills-20-in-yobe-mosque/ July 2013: http://www.informationng.com/2013/07/angry-mob-kills-3-suspected-boko-haram-members-in-failed-mosque-attack.html 9 Jan 2012: Boko Haram gunmen shoot dead a secret police operative along with his civilian friend as they leave a mosque in Biu, Borno State, 200km south of the state capital, Maiduguri. 30 Dec 2011: Four Muslim worshippers are killed in a BH bomb and shooting attack targeting a military checkpoint in Maiduguri as worshippers leave a mosque after attending Friday prayers. 4 September 2011: Muslim cleric Malam Dala shot dead by two BH members outside his home in the Zinnari area of Maiduguri. http://thenationonlineng.net/timeline-of-boko-haram-attacks/ |
cktheluckyman:No the government is taking them lightly, when the government grows some balls and decides to act, the avengers would not be able to stand the heat! Where is Asari now? What of MEND? Only a weak government would negotiate with these thugs! |
peculyachi:Are you serious? What you just wrote does not make sense? Boko Haram has attacked churches, mosques and even public places, they've killed Christians, Muslims and government officials! They do not discriminate! I'm sorry you don't want to learn from the internet but I am not your professor or tutor, I can only guide you to where the information is sourced. Go online and educate yourself please! |
I would have done the same, there's no law stating that you have to get along with babymamas, just accept your responsibility by being in your child's life and move on but these babaymamas are never contented, they want to stay relevant by all means! |
cktheluckyman:Keep deceiving yourself! |
The most sophisticated attack that Nigeria has ever seen came from Boko Haram and where are they now? Struggling to survive! Even their masters ISIS are in panic mode! At the end of the day we all know what would be the end result, thousands of lives lost and the avengers begging for amnesty!!! |
Nairaland truly needs to grow if it's going to be world class! There are some developments you can make to the websites such as people wanting to discuss sportsbetting, Forex and others can relate. The section of the website should have disclaimers and a check box for 21 and older. This way you can indemnify Nairaland against negative consequences! I'm not sure what your strategies are for growing the website in the future but you are leaving room for someone else to take traffic away from your site. It's easy to build a site better than Nairaland and I know many of my friends including myself with the resources to build a loyal fan base for years to come. Learn from the mistakes of sites like Hi5 and MySpace, with evolving technology comes greater competition, don't alienate your fan base!!!! |
peculyachi:You really don't know much about Boko Haram do you? You do know that they did not start out as Boko Haram? They started blowing up churches and government buildings when their members were killed which ultimately led to their leader's death! It's all there for you on the internet, only if you can do the research!!! |
Ultimately the fault goes out to the woman that left her child, I used to hear people say it's because of children that they suffered so much in a marriage, I used to think to myself wouldn't it be easier to just leave? It's situations like this that makes me have a rethink! A lot of Nigerians are suffering from one or more mental disorders, mix that with some spiritual battles and poverty; the result is CHAOS! |
peculyachi:Perhaps you were sleeping for the past 15 years? Boko Haram started out like the Avengers fighting for perceived injustice, it all escalated when their leader was killed and they turned into mad dogs! |
It's clear to see that with every regime there would be an attempt by various groups to hold it ransom. This is where a President must put his foot down! OBJ started it and GEJ expanded it but PMB must end it. For those who sympathize with the Avengers, I say to them, why don't you sympathize with Boko Haram? Boko Haram kills humans, Avengers blow up pipelines, this results in more poverty for the masses which then leads to starvation and deaths. Both are terrorists and should be treated the same way! Niger-Deltans had the best chance to make their lives better when GEJ was in charge but they trusted their fate to greedy leaders from their own region, they have no one to blame but themselves!!! |
I've always said this, it's a completely useless woman that would not know how to bring out the best in her man,the same goes for men! There are ways to encourage or motivate a man without completely destroying his self worth. I've seen a woman literally buy her boyfriend local herbs in order to get him to improve, she was the more experienced one but as time went on the guy quickly became a pro, this is the true art of two becoming one...... |
I can smell a fairy tale from a mile away! The story composed like an American drama series but let me just play along, your boss was drunk the previous night with you, got home late at 2am and still managed to get to the office well before you and compose an email before 8am? You deserve to be suspended! |
Resurgence:I think it's an insult to say most NIGERIANS are narrow minded because the same can be said of American/European citizens. Those citizens are narrow minded towards African cultures and traditions. Most of them would call their Father/Mother in law by their first names, some of them still believe the entire Africa is just one country and a few of them believe we all live in the jungle! I think the proper phrase for you to use is "most humans are narrow minded"! |
The keyword here is ALLEGED! It's either the accusers are timid or there's no concrete evidence! Allegations against Amaechi,Fashola and even Tinubu should be brought before a court in the form of a lawsuit, by now there should be hundreds of lawsuits by concerned citizens and other stakeholders who feel they have enough evidence of their corruption. So until that happens, these men are innocent until proven guilty! I'm tired of the court of media and before some ignorant monkey starts saying it's because APC is in power, why didn't Jonathan and PDP investigate those allegations? The answer is simple, no matter which way we choose to look at it,this administration is the only one that's ever given a damn about corruption and stolen funds, it may be one-sided but at least it's acting instead of turning a blind eye! |
menxer:Can you make jollof without vegetable oil(bad cholesterol), maggi? The calories in bread alone is enough to make anyone fat, two slices of bread have more calories than a plate of salad! |
The mistake a lot of you make is the assumption that obesity is caused just by physical factors, this is absolutely incorrect! Genetics and emotional imbalances are also factors. For an emotional eater, no amount of home remedies will work and for the obesity brought on by genetics, it could lead to a life of being miserable as such a person must spend their entire life staying away from the simple things we enjoy in life.E.g- try eating only vegetables or going vegan all your life in the Nigerian setting,no jollof, amala or even bread ![]() |
