If a protest should be staged, it's okay, but wanton destruction to public and private properties and using such opportunities to commit assault on ordinary citizens should be met with stiff resistance from our security operatives. Even though over stretched, they can invite sister agencies who should be ruthless in their approach to save our state from anarchy and lawlessness. We can't afford to experience the colossal loss we just came out from anymore. Our leaders are first Nigerians before holding offices, and first youth before getting here and they're a mirror image of a typical Nigerian. Even till now, the lawlessness in Lagos has not abated. |
TecM0:i have a military friend that is way calmer than even police. He is yoruba, and always staying out of trouble. He is currently serving in bonny cantonment, even when i called him over an issue, i was blunt, i told him he was invited to cause chaos not pacify anybody. There are some decent ones out there that would never mal-treat innocent civilians unjustly. |
frubben:wetin go cut go still cut even if u use rope tighten am. Na true u talk. Yorubas would say, owo lo ni lo pe wa. |
I am sure correctional centers have full detail entries of their prisoners to even family members who come to see them, so it is in their best interest to return or risk further stay. I hope the governor in his magnanimity grant these people state pardon if found guilty, we only have few honest Nigerians who do not genuinely catch cruise on the ignorance and failure of others. |
cktheluckyman:See, fake news can set a nation ablaze, we as a nation have sensationalized people, 78 is on the high side, this sparked retaliatory attacks against government and private properties, if you never got attacked, be thanking your God, many never got out unhurt, and this could be equated to what is happening to congo currently and no one is even helping them, so if you all think intl bodies are somewhere to just jump on nigeria, they are after their own interest to cause more chaos. In the end, the masses would suffer it because crime rate in some days to come, would be unimaginable, worst is, it would be under reported. Lagosians who go to work early might not be spared in the impending assault from various hoodlums and one chance people on the loose. Even the loss to ordinary Nigerians that i witnessed with my eyes on Saturday was never reported by any media outlet. |
i blame the president in this, one thing i admire obasanjo for, stability and peace of Nigeria is greater than any individual, and they were meant to achieve it at all COST!. So long banks, prisons, police posts, private homes, public and private properties amongst others are been looted and destroyed, those are hoodlums who disguises as #EndSARS protestors and their plans should be thwarted by any means possible even if it cost the hoodlums their lives. The president is by no means displaying an attitude evident in a former head of state, his unnecessary silence and lack of tactical plan and strategy has caused the populace much more loss than the government can genuinely pay for. Even a weak GEJ would command security forces better than the so called former military dictator. Na for him wife and ordinary defenseless Nigerians e dey get power. nwoke nta!!! |
Things are costly now, food prices, anything consumables are on the high side now. As a result of the protest and blockade, things exacerbated as cost of things sky rocketed. it was just so annoying. Spending so much only to buy little, especially tomato, fish, chicken food, amongst others, are taking an alarming turn. |
kettykings:i quite agree with you on this, the hoodlums have always fed on the low and middle class with no one to their rescue, some incidents happen close to police post. It is just that we have a president who uses body language to pass information across when many do not fall for his gimmicks anymore. If he is not careful, his house may not be safe as the northerners have a far gap between the rich, elites, educated and their low. Sad just to know that many weapons are out in the hands of the hoodlums and another oppressors which they would use on the common man and no one to their rescue. |
Liposure:Depends on the woman you marry, the signs are always there if you watch carefully from relationship. |
MadamExcellency:Like i said, i am not pro-divorce, but that should be how things ought to go in my previous narration. sperm donor kwanu? the sperm harbourer should not feel too entitled. She can come check up on her kids when it is convenient for her but who takes custody? should be me. Above all, divorce should never be an option if the atmosphere can still controlled and situation saved with wisdom. |
When you have partners that are understanding, committed with a mind to make things work, self-less and ready to shift grounds to suit the other, divorce would not be an option, i just hate that word divorce. But Generally for me, in divorce, we are sharing no property as my properties are mine and i take custody of my kids....sefini!!!!!!!!!! That is what i would tell my lawyers to fight for. |
cynthia9:Edo state isn't starting any revolution, edo people would just let thugs and cultists make armed forces kill innocent people. Edo didn't start the protest, lekki people had been protesting and all had been fine so far, I just pity edo people that would allow thugs and people with personal vendetta to make real protestors with agitation not able to air their views. Anyway, other states would peacefully continue the struggle already hijacked in Edo state. |
blacknp:First of all, are you In Edo state? |
Truler:The one in Edo state is leading to no revolution, soon the people would revolt against each other and not against their common enemy, the government. |
Neddstark:You made valid points, it's a situation of he that is down fears no fall. This struggle would claim many innocent lives, even those neutral but the rich would always find a way to escape and not be hurt. Hopefully the protestors would have a leader soonest across the 36 states to interface with the government, because everyone cannot be speaking same time while human lives are been taken and prisoners released. My friends in npdc Benin couldn't go home as at when we spoke, two cars around there were burnt live, they were stuck in the office. Some girls were raped at ring road, Benin in broad daylight, how pathetic Benin became so suddenly. They even charged some soldiers to tell you how things have degenerated. The quicker they have genuine leaders to interface with the government, the better to save lives. Hopefully in one week or two, leaders would be chosen which would involve a reputable man of God who supports the movement, else, the bloodbath isn't surely what anyone is ready for. It is the beginning of war one knows, no one knows the ending. And sir buhari should even address the nation biko, and play a fatherly role and grant the masses wishes. This country no favor her citizen at all than the elites. |
dangotesmummy:He is not a senator, he is the Nigerian Ambassador for Peace to the UN. |
OZOnNengiTheory:I am sure you would have received the bashing of your life, no need to add more, but you never said anything farther from the truth. The foundation of the nation is even wrong to start with, implying there are so many things to correct as a nation. I once use to be a fan of the president, but unfortunately, he met a seemingly corrupt system which he ought to change but rather, cashing out big time like MMM. There is systematic, structural failure in the country where NA is an appendage of the presidency that checks and balances no excesses of the presidency. The once vibrant NLC/TLC has become the enemy of the NIGERIAN WORKERS whose interest they were designed to defend. Why would anyone be earning that minimum wage, why would electricity be that costly, why would police be too brutal in carrying out justice, in the course of gaining confession from arrested people in their cells, they went over board to extract confession from detainees and one might even confess to crimes they did not do to be free from the torture, using one's influence in the police to cause oppression of another, bogus salary of the NASS, amongst others. The youths are angry because of the anger they have been nursing for long and no other time to vent it out than now when opportunity presented itself. SARS on it all became a menace without check, Lord and Messiah unto themselves. This protest is a right call, but pulling the government economy down is the best call without causing untold hardship on fellow citizens because we are all in this together. Right of way is what all Nigerians are entitled to, if the protest halts the economy, i would be happy, but further causing hardship on the downtrodden by blocking of passage is uncalled for. We all in this cause together, but it should be to frustrate the government not fellow citizens. |
simplepee, shey u can see us now or we should come to your area? |
Those awkuzu SARS are something else, the commander can't be compensated with appointment by obiano, he needs answer to his crimes against humanity. He is the accuser, judge and executioner same time. O wrong nau... |
Beeholz, i cannot see you here o ..... |
beeholz:Keep your thank you to yourself. big head..lol |
It's a demotion like papa said, for someone in the level of oyedepo to be vying for presidency, wrong call, people who attain his level in spiritual realm won't consider that a honor because their reputation would be sullied, their names dragged in the mud and their integrity questioned. |
Sahara reporters carried the matter like they went for the news themselves, the news is even incomplete, the guy even shared his story on Twitter, backed with a video, he used bolt/taxify while he was stopped, he lost his belongings in the process while in the car. He tried as he put up a resistance with them, but they almost stripped him naked and dragging him, he had to succumb, he contacted bolt concerning his missing belongings, they said their drivers are independent contractors and they're not responsible for them or whatever they do, this was some months back, but all of a sudden now that the guy shared his story, bolt is running helter skelter to get him help because of the attention the SARS stuffs is getting, he has already instituted a legal case against bolt anyway. Their new trend now is going for males and females who use Uber, taxify.... I remember my friend who drove to osun some days back in her car sharing her ordeal with me, she said throughout her driving to osun, at all check point, guys must be stopped and their bags ransacked like they are hiding something, she now even felt pity for the male gender, the harassment became too much. After eating at an eatery to continue her journey, the bus that had passed her, she still met them again on the road still been stopped at another checkpoint and their bags ransacked. With the way they're going, they would spread to the females and kids, and no one would be left behind. A unit like SARS should be an intelligence unit, with high sophisticated tech prowess, should be a coordinated department with a control room where they get information over a lead, not just one filled with quacks that detect crimes from looks and appearance. If na by like that, they should go and start their arrest with kabaka boys, oluomo boys and those agberos that have scary looks and hairstyle. |
BIGGESThead6:I disagree, everything about the young man public display is wrong, even from the look of things. If he wants to have much of this fanfare, his father should resign, and let them live as private citizen, the presidency preaches modesty, but his appointed not even elected officers cannot even avoid public controversies. If EFCC chair was to have kids who display this, many would have called for probe. Every body in Nigeria needs security, even you, the boy's life is not more important than yours, so you need all form of security you can get to be safe. Nigerians go about with no security, many die from police harassment, false accusation and intimidation, terrorism in the north, mehn, everything is wrong with his public display. Yusuf, Zahra always avoid public controversy, even kiki. Big business tycoons do not get much security, even commissioners do not get as much security, no one is saying he should not be secured, but he should not be going round like he is DG of DSS himself or Governor of a state! |
purples25:banned ke? are u serious? for how many days? while i thought you did delete the thread yourself. The guy is just an opportunist... |
ThatFairGuy1:Which of his results do you need clarifications on? |
purples25:But you know that your own, the guy was trying to prove what was not necessary and, the beginning of the conversation was laid on a wrong footing, and you did not have to prove anything but you ended up making him have more to say with the picture shared. Probably you could have shared a more decent picture in case of next time to a supposed business partner, but why did u delete the thread without making me air my contribution ....by the way, futurejoy, hope you good, been a while i saw you in here...... |
Even considering the way buhari is ruling Nigeria who would even be voting for APC.... |
I remember anambra that time.. Anambra people get money sha and dem dey help corpers during election, immediately after election.. Nothing more from those politicians. |
One guy was narrating his ordeal online that he went out on his birthday, in a bid to mark it, so he was at ogudu. So he just said let him shine small Congo for mouth make him dey alright, as him light the cigarette like this inside his car, na im SARS pass by for korope, na im the guy say, SARS Don see big fish. SARS just pulled over, and started approaching him in his own car o,he just bursted laugh in their front that how much they need, that they caught big fish. So he said today's his birthday, gave them small change to go high too, then they let him go. Some of our officers are no different from criminals who are just after their pockets than security of the people. |
Saintmary:You're probably still a neophyte, you would grow with time to this understanding or better you consult a doctor for more understanding when you experience such for proper clarification. Again, pregnant women don't menstruate. |
Saintmary:That's not true, there's no way you're with pregnancy and still continue to menstruate. Ovulation precedes menstruation, so how can a non ovulating woman menstruate. Blood coming out while pregnant from the woman isn't any way a sign of period, if it's the first trimester, it could be as a result of sex, ectopic pregnancy, miscarriage, infection, spotting as the placenta implants the uterus, even changes in cervical cells, amongst others. Some women don't even menstruate while newly starting their breastfeeding phase. So pregnant women don't menstruate. |
