Hi all, Someone mentioned this to me and I was wondering what on earth it could mean. He kissed a girl and she spat after the kiss. The guy has fresh breath by the way so I won't say it's because of bad breath. Why did she spit? a) Irritated by the guy b) The kiss itself (maybe she hates kissing) c) Some other reason? Ladies especially please share your thoughts! |

I'm impressed by Denrele's acute emotionalism and expression. This is what a tribute to a dead friend should sound like! |
For hiring strippers for her son's 16th birthday, a New York mum has been arrested and faces up to one year in prison if convicted. 33 year old Judy Viger hired two strippers (seen above with her son) to perform at her son's birthday, where there were plenty under age children. The mother of one of the party goers who found it inappropriate reported Judy to the police who arrested and charged her with five counts of endangering the welfare of a child. They said she endangered not only the welfare of her own child, but the welfare of the 14 and 15 year old children that were at the party. She will appear in court March 7th. http://lindaikeji..com/2013/02/mom-arrested-for-hiring-strippers-for.html |
Rhymez: "Its complicated" means having multiple partners because of fear of heartbreaks. Thanks Rhymez! That sounds to me like cheating on your spouse or not committing to any single person? But why not stay single if you're scared of heart breaks! Oh well! |
Sometimes I just imagine there's no one there then I say what's on my mind! |
Hi guys, Just curious as to what would make anyone to state complicated for relationship status. Does it mean they aren't in any or are contemplating double dating? Your thoughts please! |
The end of a relationship can come as sudden as a lightning strike, leaving you reeling from the shock and pain of the emotional assault. Sometimes, you can see the end of a relationship coming from a mile away, and the experience of a break in connection with your loved one can be torturously slow like trying to find your way out of quick sand. In both scenarios the experience of a relationship coming to an end is painful and the pain often lingers in the residues of your heart, mind and soul for a long time. It brings to the fore the eternal question, is it better as the poet Alfred Lord Tennyson put it, to have loved and lost than to never have loved at all? Of course when the break up occurs the pain can be so overwhelmingly paralyzing that you find yourself wondering if the pain of heartbreak is sincerely worth it. The hurt that the break up leaves behind lingers to such an extent that the possibility of ever trusting or loving is almost certainly eliminated for good. So the million dollar question is how do you move on from this? In the film the 'Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind' starring Jim Carey and Kate Winslet we see a couple try to move on from their relationship by erasing good and bad memories of each other through a simple brain treatment. If only moving on was this easy. It’s almost impossible to erase memories of ex-loved ones who held crucial roles in our lives as these memories have an important purpose to play. We tend to learn from them and modify our attitudes based on those experiences. So back to the question, how does one move on? "Moving on" is really about coming to the realization and having the faith that you are strong enough to live without that person. Once you've made this realization you need to accept the Reality that this person no longer has a significant role to play in your life. Of course getting to this emotional wisdom takes a lot of time, a lot of long walks and a lot of tears. Accepting that a relationship is not meant to be is facing the truth of a situation. There's a certain relief that comes with letting the chips fall as they may rather than trying to control or save a relationship. Lying to yourself will only make you suffer more. The idea of "moving on" is about looking ahead to a brighter future and leaving the past behind. Whatever you do, don't look back until you are strong enough emotionally to withstand a glance at the past relationship. Just because the person you care so much about but doesn’t care about you doesn't mean the world has come to an end. To your dismay you will find that life continues around you and you have to make the choice to live it. Move on by meeting new interesting people, take on new hobbies, new experiences and visit new places. Break ups only make you a more multifaceted human being, it adds to the richness of your soul, so use this experience and become a better version of yourself. http://www.abujafood.com/people/people-a-relationships/1143-how-to-move-on-from-heart-break.html |

When it comes to shopping online in Nigeria it’s natural for many people to develop cold feet because of the issue of trust. How many of the so called online shops in Nigeria are reliable stores? Can these Online Nigerian stores deliver the right product without any defects and at the right time? These and more – Nigeria’s leading Online Store (as of February 2013) Jumia is Nigeria’s leading online Store for Nigerian online shoppers. It’s a one stop shop where you can find a wide range of consumer goods from electronics to fashion accessories, tickets, toys and drinks to mention a few. The website reminds one of amazon as it has a similar design and structure and even a referral/affiliate program as well. So far no other online store in Nigeria has offered enough competition to Jumia. Konga.com Konga is a mega online store that beats Jumia hands down in terms of product range and site design. But the Jumia is still more popular among Nigerian online shoppers Taafoo.com Taafoo also offers a wide range of consumer items except for drinks, tickets and a few other items which both Konga and Jumia offer to their teeming markets. The site design for taafoo.com is rather poor for an online store but they stock a number of attractive products. Nairaland.com Although this is a discussion forum a lot of commercial activities have been transacted by Nigerians across great distances. In some cases Nigerians abroad have made purchases directly from Nigerians here and vice versa. Nairaland is a great place to go shopping for cars and electronics but one has to be extra cautious while doing so. A lot of scammers have taken to Nairaland to dupe unsuspecting consumers in search of great deals. Buyright.biz This is a Nigerian online store that stocks mostly industrial and commercial electrical and electronic devices. Their product range include; Inverter & Battery, Voltage Stabilization & Prot Computer Peripherals & Acces USB drive/Memory Cards, Personal Electronics and Energy Saving and Solar Lights. In terms of Site design and customer service BuyRight is a great online store. http://nigeria-online-shopping..com/2013/02/top-5-shop-online-in-nigeria-stores.html |
https://images2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20100702150415/simpsons/images/6/6a/Mr_Burns_evil.gif Socializing in Abuja is a unique experience. It has a close knit small town feel where everyone knows everyone. That is depending on what type of circle you socialize in. However, within these collective experiences we have all had the displeasure of meeting a variety of mean and unpleasant people. An encounter with these kinds of people only means one thing – misery. Sometimes they might be family members, friends or acquaintances who may have an irrational or sometimes rational vendetta against you. Below we list a few of these types of people who leave a bad taste in the mouth. The Abuja Snob There are a plethora of Abuja snobs who come with a snooty sense of entitlement. Snobs are generally those who imagine that they are better and smarter than others and therefore relish looking down on other people they deem as not their equals. The Abuja snob is usually linked to the government elite in some way, the very rich, or is among the first set of people to live in the ‘IT’ city. These snobs have a somewhat overrated sense of self and are typically very arrogant. How to deal with them: Don’t pay attention to them but don’t descend to their level of arrogance or rudeness but make them realize they are not as important as they delude themselves into thinking. The Malicious Abuja Liar Beware of the Malicious Abuja liar! Always look upon everything they say with a suspicious side eye especially if their name is unbelievably "Chloe" or "Beyonce". That’s not to say that the Malicious Abuja liar is typically female. Many of these liars are male. Ask them what they do for a living and many will say the ambiguous "business" or "contracts" and name drop the former FCT minister or the president himself. They may look as innocent as lambs and may sit as quietly as a cherub listening to your every word. Don't be deceived by the disguise. The Malicious Abuja liar is soaking in every little bit of information you throw at them, to cut and paste and pepper for later transmission. They are simply rumor mongers, false witnesses or petty gossips who can’t help but make up things about other people in order to tarnish their image. How to deal with them: Avoid them, give them no access to your private life and tell them off whenever they try to get close. Of course they must be made to realize that anything they tell you can only be believed if someone credible agrees with it. The Back Stabbing Bujian The Back Stabbing Bujian is as cunning as a snake. Usually, this back stabber patiently waits for the right time to strike you with their poisonous venom. They may be the worst among the unpleasant lot. They pretend to love you and would often do a lot to convince you to trust them but deep down, they have a very strong desire to hurt you and are looking for a chance to do it without you ever knowing. People who back bite, gossip or have a low affinity for friends are usually backstabbers. How to deal with them: Keep them at arms length, don’t ever share your problems with them or grant them access to your private life. The Abuja Hater Haters are as natural occurring in Abuja as fuel scarcity. The Abuja Hater is extremely insecure and selfish. Tell them about your latest success and watch them visibly recoil with bitterness. Their hatred comes from the fact that they are aware of their own limited capacity to excel and the thought of others accomplishing what they can never achieve hurts them badly. So rather than work on improving themselves which is the reasonable thing to do, they prefer to channel their energy wishing and praying for your failure and downfall. How to deal with them: Try to avoid them all together because haters usually become backstabbers and malicious liars eventually. Also make sure you always pray against the bad intent of the Abuja Hater. The Abuja Player In 2013, the player may seem like a somewhat outdated 90’s concept like Montell Jordan’s funky R&B. However this concept is still very much virile in urban jungles around the world. Abuja is a haven for the Player who sees relationships with the opposite sex as mere sport. Games of the heart are played with a singular goal, to gratify themselves and break as many hearts along the way. For the guys, their motive is usually lust while women who are players typically do so for money. How to deal with them: The best way to treat an Abuja player is to make him or her go on a wild goose chase – let them lavish you with attention, but don’t give them what they want. If you don’t have the time for playing the players games, avoid them at all cost! |

The Super Eagles look good the way the are, they should just work on making the existing team become more familiar with each other although I think Osaze could also be included to bolster the attack a bit. |
This question is important to me please give honest answers. If a company approached you to manage their website, how much are you willing to charge to manage it? |
Things you should never say at work: 1. Never tell your boss you want to be lovers. He might accept and then make you work for free. 2. Never ask your colleague "excuse me did you just fart?" What do you expect him/her to say? 3. Never tell an ugly client the truth about his/her looks. They might report you to your boss who might laugh at them and cause them to take their business to another company. Apart from these ones, you can say anything else and be rest assured that if anyone attacks you for doing so you can come and report them to me. |

Is he/she qualified to say what caused her death? Anyways you guys are known for dishing unreliable news (you were the same people who said Oyo State first lady was arrested in London for money laundering when it turned out to be false). Shabby and unprofessional Journalism at its best! |
One of the problems Abuja folks who happen to be lovers of good food and enjoy eating out often face is dealing with steep prices of delicacies on offer at the various restaurants in Abuja. This has created a problem for many Abuja foodies who have to opt for lesser expensive eateries that don’t necessarily provide them with the kind of service they’d love to enjoy. Thankfully an innovative company has identified this problem and has come up with a solution so that foodies can get the best of two worlds – mouth-watering cuisines at the fraction of the cost. The service is called the Restaurant Club which is a unique lifestyle product for food lovers with one goal in mind: to give diners a fast and easy way to find deals at their favorite restaurants. This service is the first of its kind in Nigeria and the company responsible for this is Matrix Lifestyle Systems Limited which is an innovative company with a vision of bringing world class service to Abuja foodies. The service is highly efficient (Here’s how it works) includes: finding deals, buying deals and even a referral program where you could earn cash from the service. You can be rest assured that each time you visit the restaurant club’s website you’ll find the latest restaurant deals and at discounted prices too. Sign up for free to start enjoying services from the restaurant club at their website and enjoy a free 150 credit Voucher if you sign up before the 24th of February 2013. http://www.abujafood.com/food-matters/food-finds/1138-introducing-the-restaurant-club-abuja.html |
