Lovelyn451:What’s kind of job would you like to do? (I’m serious) |
Tongues (speaking in a language that neither communicates with the speaker or a hearer) is anti-Christ in nature. It’s effect as you described it, numbs the senses. The scriptures shows that any effect that dulls the senses (mind) is not the work of the Spirit of Christ but is of demons. |
Sir, which church do you attend (worship in)? |
fineboynl:Meaning: She is done with you. Her washing of her legs means: She has washing herself of any experience she has had with you, completely. Her almost going nude means: even if she has to go through indignity (shame) to show you that she is through with you, she would go through it. (She doesn’t want to be identified with you anymore). |

dollyj1996:Uzzah was a Levite, of the house of Eleazar. Levites were brought up strictly to follow the ways handed down from their fathers. Tradition has it that immediately they start to speak as children, they are taught the ways of the Levite. David had the ark put in his house due to contingencies. The ark of testimony was to be feared from the time of Moses and to the recent havoc the ark caused in the land of The Philistines. But this fearful thing was put in his house for many years even from his childhood and it meant nothing to him. The scriptures says, “Honour your father and mother, that your days may be long”. If Uzzah as a child was strictly taught that of all things to touch never you touch the ark; the day you touch it, you will die. I say this as conjecture seeing that foolishness is in the heart of a child, Uzzah touched that ark for many years till adulthood and God did nothing. The scripture says, “Or despisest thou the riches of his goodness and forbearance and longsuffering; not knowing that the goodness of God leadeth thee to repentance? But after thy hardness and impenitent heart treasurest up unto thyself wrath against the day of wrath and revelation of the righteous judgment of God” Romans 2:4-5 These verses up there reveal the mercy of God and the Judgement of God. To forbear means “to politely restrain an impulse to do something”. God restrained from killing him for many years because of His mercy. In the end, His righteousness prevailed: He must punish sin. Like several of His ancestors (Eli in mind) and even today, God sends His messenger to warn evildoers to stop their evil ways. That day was Uzzah’s day of judgment. I’d like to ask this: which is more filthy - the mud the ark would have fallen on or the hands of a sinner? |
shortgun:Uzzah was a Levite (1 Sam. 7:1, 1 Chron. 24:3-6) . He needs help not schenanigans. |
I don’t know any company in Nigeria that is set up for biotechnology. If you find any, they may be involved with international aid agencies on diseases and control. If this is the case, they will be somewhere in the north and your chances of finding them are slim. If you possess a masters degree, that is good news as you can apply for a PhD placement in a good American school that offers full scholarship and a graduate assistant post simultaneously. (You would have to do the exams that will grant you an admission, and let me say that you will have to read like you have never read before - read like your life depends on it). If it is your dream to practice as a biotechnologist, Nigeria wouldn’t offer you many options except the research institutes we have (which are underfunded and staff underpaid) or a lecturing position which will be frustrating (to say the least). |
The Christians scriptures teaches that any wisdom not derived from the truth of the text of the Apostles and Prophets are anti-Christ. When we read Hebrews 11:4 in its context, we see Cain offered a sacrifice based on his understanding and not by the teaching of faith he got. For this one action, the scriptures referred to him as “unrighteous”. In all the understanding you reflected, Christ was not revealed. Wisdom that conceals Christ are usually precipitated by his archenemy. Friend, it’s wonderful that your soul is searching for the truth; all men do so at some point in their lives; but I advice you have a friend who will study the Scriptures with you so that when you are being overtaken by a faulty concept of God and creation (Cain had a faulty understanding of this), your friend will restore you before you get to a point-of-no return. Someone tried to recommend a podcast for you; that’s good. I’d like to recommend a YouTube channel to you - the Ligoneir Ministries; you would enjoy it. Regards |
I empathize with you. You will be alright. I’d like to advise you to take your medication strictly and see more specialists if you can. Going to church isn’t Christianity. Many Churches practice hedonism that’s why you left. While you take your medicine and hope for better health, please read the Book of John with all understanding and an open mind. I tell you this from the bottom of my heart. Regards |
Surgery is the best option. The protrusion is the wall of your colon. It has "collapsed" and would need to be put back in place. It is a simple procedure and only a very good hospital will correct it. |
ojonugwap:I would have loved to reply but I can hardly comprehend your opinion. It's either it's construction or the spellings you adopted. Regards |
989900:The scriptures in Revelation 1:8 say of Christ Jesus, "I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the ending, saith the Lord, which is, and which was, and which is to come, the Almighty." |
mysteryman2014:John 20:28 And Thomas answered and said unto him, My Lord and my God. Acts 7:59 And they stoned Stephen, calling upon God, and saying, Lord Jesus, receive my spirit. Good morning: my greeting is extended to yours as well. I put up the verses above as my compass so that I may not miss my way while responding to you. I would that I never listened to my forbears first before I studied studied the scriptures for myself, and also understood the power (functions) of the punctuation marks in the English grammar before ever picking up a Bible. The misunderstanding of the English grammar has led to the perversion of the scriptures by many. Do you remember at Caesarea Philippi, upon the revelation of Father, Jesus made this statement: "And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church" (Matthew 16:18)? Let's look at the words, MY CHURCH. Can we say that the first time the word, Church, was used in the scriptures, Jesus used the possessive pronoun, MY, to show the whole world that He owns the Church. In the scriptures, the words, Church of God, appear thirteen times. The words, Church of the firstborn, appears once. Using the rule you applied to Reuben and God, the firstborn is God, and God is Christ Jesus. Is Christ Jesus, God? I would like you to see the guardrails I used above - the sayings of Thomas and Stephen. None of us would ever have had the firsthand information those two had; but we see clearly that they referred to Christ as God (unless you do not understand the function of iterations or you condemn them as blasphemers). Isaiah prophesying about the coming of Christ saying, "Behold! Your God"; and the words that follow are the exploits Christ performed when He rose from the dead. Paul extolling him in Colossians says, "For in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily." The ramification of this honor is boundless; Paul extols Him as the One that has the Almighty power of the Father in Himself. Mystery man, If your evidence is true and faultless, it will agree with all scripture; but I doesn't. Why do I say this? You used one of the meaning of 'prototokos' related to the privilege of the firstborn son to imply that Jacob created Reuben. (I am using your rule). Does a man create another man? Colossians describes Christ as the 'firstborn from Hades'. Did Hades create Christ? Not only did your conclusion not make biblical sense, it does not make for proper reasoning. The genealogies of Levi show Samuel, an Ephratite, in its train; Did Eli have Samuel as his firstborn? The Pentateuch always referred to the firstborn as the one who opens the matrix. What then is a matrix? Is God or the Godhead a matrix? I may just have complicated my writing but it is intentional. Many people do not understand the meaning of the word, "God", "Son", and "Father" and it is led to the perversion of the scriptures. Many of us have drowned in the erroneous teachings of our elders that we have accepted their error as the truth. Above all, if we do not do the will of the Father - to follow Christ, we will be condemned. If we do not have the same brotherly relationship Jehovah had with Abraham, when we die, we will be damned. If we are not Holy as Christ was, when Christ shall appear, we will be judged with the wicked and Satan. Mystery man, are you saved? Are you Holy? Have you been washed in the blood of Jesus? These are all that matter? Have a nice day |
InvertedHammer:Good evening. You speak like someone with authority. Which of the over 20 versions of the Holy Bible do you find provocative? I find that the version I quoted seems to irk you? Is it the version or the name, Christ Jesus, that you find atrocious? |
TheIkoro:Good evening. I'm sorry I wouldn't be able to respond. The construction of your grammar is not easy for me to comprehend. I see you try to use a bit of the words of Christ in the wilderness temptations in your write-up and your writeup seems to have an anti-Christian tone to it. With respect to Jesus' words to Satan, He tells Satan that having the written word of God at his disposal is not license for him to mock God. Being anti-Christian or Pro-Christian is an emblem many people wear wrongly. The greatest question anyone alive should ask himself is, "will I be sentenced to eternal damnation when I am judged after I die?". With an anti-Christian stance or not, does the real God have a brotherly relationship with you like He had with Abraham? |
lepasharon:Good evening. The scriptures show right from Genesis (where the brothers of Abel and Joseph killed their sibling), through the psalms and Malachi, that the Messiah will be rejected. Daniel 9:24-26, specifically shows that at the first advent (coming) of Christ, He will be killed. It was prophesied that "He will be despised and rejected" in Isaiah 53. God caused these to happen. The Book of Romans show that their rejection will not last forever: they will accept Christ at the appointed time - when the time of the Gentiles is fulfilled (Romans 11). Most significantly, God caused the hearts of the Jews to be hardened (towards Jesus) for our sake. |
mysteryman2014:Good evening sir. I left that out because that information wasn't necessary for whom I quoted the verse for. I know your intention; please, grant me your 'eyes': The Greek word for firstborn, "prototokos", for which we have the English word, "prototype", whose dictionary meaning is - origin, original or originator, is used (as seen in the context also) as the honorific title, firstborn, which belongs first and foremost to the Son of God, Christ Jesus. When reading the scriptures, it is expedient that we know chiefly the etymology of the words and how it applies to the context and the intention of the letter. The Letter to the Colossians and with the Book of Hebrews was to dispel the messages making the rounds in those days that Jesus was created (like an angel as the Helenists were made to believe). |
Aldebaran:Matthew 9:4-6 And Jesus knowing their thoughts said, Wherefore think ye evil in your hearts? For whether is easier, to say, Thy sins be forgiven thee; or to say, Arise, and walk? But that ye may know that the Son of man hath power on earth to forgive sins,(then saith he to the sick of the palsy,) Arise, take up thy bed, and go unto thine house. Only God can forgive sin... you see what happened up there? Christ Jesus (who also is God) forgave sin and gave that man a fresh start in life. You can be forgiven and be a new man. |
InvertedHammer:John 1:1-4 In the beginning was the Word (Christ Jesus), and the Word (Christ Jesus) was with God, and the Word (Christ Jesus) was God. He (Christ Jesus) was in the beginning with God. All things were made through Him (Chris Jesus), and without Him (Christ Jesus) nothing was made that was made. In Him (Christ Jesus) was life, and the life was the light of men. Colossians 1:15-16 He (Christ Jesus) is the image of the invisible God. For by Him all things were created that are in heaven and that are on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or principalities or powers. All things were created through Him and for Him. Hebrews 1:1-2 God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son (Christ Jesus), whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds; |

topstone4:You are not correct. This is a rail track from the 60s and a failed part of the track at the Mangoro station caused it.

ImperialYoruba:The coolest words I've read (so far) this year. |
stieyven:Good evening sir. I'd like to know what the sin against the Holy Spirit is, please? Thanks |
gr8tone:Thanks for your understanding. When there is an absence of bible verses concerning an act we do, God has set our conscience to be a safeguard. Never ignore it. If our conscience is alive, it shows us that the Spirit of Christ is in us. This topic was brought up because your conscience is alive. Remember 2 Corinthians 10:12 admonishes us not to compare ourselves according to the standard of others. Let apples be apples and oranges be oranges. I say this because many people have compared betting with businesses. Deal with yourself alone. The remedy for overcoming manifestations of the flesh (including gambling) quickly are set out in the scriptures. Permit me to list some of them. They are: 1. Be filled (to an overflow) with the word of God - Be a walking Bible. 2. Be in the company of genuine children of God in your office or neighborhood. 3. Get into the fellowship of a Bible loving church that is not governed by legalism and traditions of men. 4. Love. 5. Be grateful. Gratefulness leads to contentment. 6. Whatever you do that will make people talk about Christ negatively, don't linger in it. 7. Be humble. Happy Holidays |
