Too Much of Everything is Bad. Too much of money without the right idea on what and how to use it can make someone run MAD. Its not his fault, when he has thousands of child labourers who he pays peanuts every day after he has used them to manufacture goods he has taken millions of dollars from the parent company in europe and america how will he know the value of money or how people really suffer to make it. That Maseratti fit be chink made sef. No be the original joh! |

Laitesmart: If i may ask... As a sign of responsibility... Who should be the 1st on ur agenda after collecting ur salary? Ur parents or ur household? It should be your household (wife and childrent) reason being that they are dependent on you. If you have other siblings who are financially capable and responsible, the issue of first sending money to your parents should be a problem as they would have sent them their monthly allowance way before you send yours. By the way, you should have determined from the onset what percentage of your income your parents/siblings and wife/children get way before the money comes in. So the issue of worrying who gets what shouldn't be a problem. |
Most Nigerians are vunch of HYPOCRITES. You all come here condenming a celebrity or celebrity to be on how they spend their money and the material things they acquire. But you same people will have ONLY N50,000 in your account and go buy a Blackberry phone of N48,000. You are jobless and use a Phone of over N60,000 and keep begging your contacts to help you pay your BIS subscription every single month. You same people don't have a house of your own but yet save and even borrow money to buy a car, while still squatting with family and friends. I see lots of people doing same and even worse if they were in these same celebrities shoes. If you have over 500 facebook friends, 200 Blackberry Contacts, 1,000 Twitter followers and you are still Jobless and Poor then it is high time you should realize you are a FAKE wanna be Social Being. Most of you lack basic Financial and Moral habits but yet want to be judges on these people's lifes. |

I know we have Mother's Day, Father's Day, Children's Day, Worker's Day, and so many other days to acknowledge and celebrate some certain people in the world today. Will I be asking for too much if we also have Bachelor and Spinster's day to celebrate our single brothers annd sisters all over the world. If is not some people's fault when they reach the marriageable age and haven't gotten married. It is cause by some certain reasons. I.e, Economic or Financial, Family Objection, Religious Stand amongst many others. So many young men and women wished they also should have settled down and start up a family like their peers. But since that's not the scenario, can they have a day dedicated to them to encourage them not to give up on their single status. Happy Bachelor and Spinster Day to every single young man and woman out there from the ages of 25years of Age to infinity. Don't worry, once there's life there is also hope. Enjoy you single status while it last. Afterall who said you need to get married to be Happy. |
nice4life: Lol are you one of those that failedShe is now. It is obvious she got less than 10 over 400. Can't you see how her hair have stretched out to turn to dreads because she saw the bitter truth. Abeg tell her make she go V/Island to that female Mechanic to learn work. Afterall that madam no dey collect money from her apprentice, instead she dey pay them and give them free accomodation. |
Peter pan: . Easy for you to say, since you are nt part of the affected people, after preparing for the exam and going out to do your best only to get your score slashed by some idealess morons of which you might be part of, listen if you don't have any thing useful to add to this thread, then get outHow did they slash your scores? Do you have any evidence to that? Have you all forgotten how you all were jubilating all over the social media (nairaland inclusive) how you all got espos and were sure of nothing less than 250. Do you think jamb officials are blind or they don't know how to operate computer like your teachers in school and oga patapata in Aso Rock? Well, most of you will blame jamb and still end up blaming the Post ume in your respected choosen schools. Make una dey read!!! Book no dey kill. |
Jhulyan: have never seen someone as foolish as you.Am I the cause of your failure? Or did they tell you I worked in jamb or resemble the computer that marked your exam sheet$ When your mates were reading, you were busy down fine girl painting your big head and following those small boys all over the street. Now you are crying foul. You better go and learn hair dressing or sewing. You are too dull to pass jamb. Well if you think you can sha, you are on your own as your people have told you earlier, they can't keep giving you money to buy jamb form. Most of your mates are already PH.D Holders. |
buchito1:If you didn't prepare hope you know all the curses are pouring back on you like a tornado? |
What in Heaven's name is This Country Nigeria turning into? If this so called House of Representative members have nothing to do, can they just close that chambers, give the keys to Tambuwwal to continue globe trotting with rotimi Ameachi in his private jet. This whole thing is making a mockery of this country. Is it the Head of Jamb the House of Representative are meant to summon on the Dullards who have nothing in their heads and their parents who no longer scold them to go and read. The educational standard as so gone down the drain that even a day to exams, students will have heavy ear phones in their ears (they call DRE abi shey na Snoppy) listening to some immoral meaningless songs being sang by all the so called illiterate wanna be dropouts. Nothing in Nigeria is improving anymore, everything seems to be nose diving, from morals, to spiritual life, educational standard, respect, conscience, trust, hardwork, humility, honesty...... Tambuwwal tell your boys to face more pressing issues rather than blaming an innocent man and his team for marking genuinely without bias what those useless dullards tick in the exam sheet. Well, I don't blame dem sef. Afterall the thief that called himself Farouk Lawan was the chairman Committee on Education. They are looking for ways to siphone bribe from the Budget given to Jamb this year. Students : if una dare insult me, na the person wey dey the oldest picture for una house una dey talk to. Olodo bunch of students in a dead nation. Like Olodo Students like their Dumb President. |

Texas.Cowgirl:So if you were to judge, who would you say is at fault? The 3 other girls insulted my post but I tried to ignore them, she went on and on and even had the audacity to direct the insult at me personally. This is a low life goat who grew up in the slums. Well I don't expect any manners from her. She's from a broken home where love and respect never existed. |
Idowuogbo: Hang urself or better still, go shove a javelin down ur throat. Animal!I know your plans and it defintely won't work. I clean and classy dud shouldn't be caught exchanging words with a natural low life like you. You that more than 9 guys on nairaland (as at the last count) have used and dump you. Is it the same who*re people who know my worth will see exchanging words with? You have no mouth or class girl, go find your match somewhere else. Ashewo 10kobo |
Idowuogbo: So u still depending on mummy and daddy for shopping sprees? Eyah....Can someone just drag this urgly witch away? SHe irritates me anytime she quotes me. Seun come drag this dog commot for here before she spread rabies everywhere oh! |
manny4life: Bros calm down o, calling someone a who.re is very inappropriate... Abeg, no fight. And insulting me for airing my own personal opinion and giving my advice is acceptable right? I know by the time seun and his moderators come here, they will take sides and ignore the 4 witches that insulted me and concentrate on hiding my post and banning themselves. But who cares? Middle finger in the air. |
Texas.Cowgirl:She is from an extremely poor home so that number looks way impossible for anyone to have. |
Idowuogbo: Fecking hell! Guy, u can lie! 320 gini? Iwo yen je Pdiddy abi? Stop chatting shyte mehn! If you had any sense and had read the writeup properly, your senses would have told you either the 2 or 0 after the 3 wasn't meant to be there because of course the 320 shouldn't be greater than than 100 I claimed I had. I noticed the error but didn't bother editing it because I definitely know idi*ots like you will come and type trash. Bi*tch, if you roll with poor guys in real life don't expect every dude you meet on this forum to fall within that category. I am way way not amongst your class, either on this forum or in real life. Stay put on the stench you call a circle okay? |
Ishilove: Choi, this boy don start hin lie lie again ooooo!! I thought by now you would have repented.I avoid nairaland because of re*tards and poverty stricken souls like you. That you came from a sorrt state background doesn't mean you should expect everyone to come from such. Now for being my most followed fan on nairaland, take half cup of tandi guorana and 2 okin biscuit |
Afam, I totaly understand how you feel because at one point of my life I was there. Let me give you a brief history. I grew up with both parent who were fashionisters. I grew up in the late 70s and early 80s seeing my dad putting on Macks and Spencer and tommy hilfiger boxers (never new those were even designers then). My parents had always being wearing expensive perfumes and wrist as far back as I can remember. Long story short, I was an hippy up till my university days were there were some semesters I never repeated one shirt twice. I was known first by my clean and smooth dressing before my looks. In my year 3, the urge to start making money (real money began) I started hustling big time. Even though I was still a sleek dresser, the time and money I spend on fashion reduced. I graduated and straight went for service still making money and being way above average in my fashion style. Then I got a place, a car had more responsibilities and more commitment in life and before I knew it, I was wearing barely 25 shirts (same) month in, month out yet having over a 100 in my wardrobe. Then it dawned on me I had become more of a hustling young man as against the previous hippy dude. I got angry one day and emptied my entire wardbrobe leaving on 320shirts, 10 pants/trousers, 10 shoes and only 3 wrist watches (me that could never stay having less than 10 pieces of wrist watches at a go). Now I will let you know I still never play with my perfumes. I look perfs and wrist watches and those are almost the two most noticed things on a man (your smell and the class you have on your wrist). Now, as against my previous thoughts, I will need to go back to my fashionistic days because of some upcoming events. This is what I am planning to do and will recommend same for you. * get at least 5 very nice and appealing shoes (3 black and 2 brown) for corporate meetings. You don't have to buy them at once. And you can get ranging from N8,500 -N35,000 depend on the make and where you are shopping. * get like 4 very nice casual shoes (trainers, sneaker...whatever they call them now) maninly to waer on casual meetings and weekends. You can get them ranging from N4,000 - N12,500. Note; get only those ones that will look mature on you. Don't get what secondary and university school boys are rocking. Don't dress immature. * have at least 3 very nice slippers /sandals. 1 black, 1 brown and maybe another white or blue. Slippers are lovely to wear on weekends when you go to the mall, lounge, cinema or just taking a stroll. Especially when you wear them on a 3/4 trouser. * get shirts (monimum of 20). Have them in long sleeve and short sleeve. Depending on your frame, I love long sleeves but I have found out short sleeves are always perfect on me. Your shirts don't have to be extremely expensive but make sure they are of good quality, nice texture and not of dull colour. Your complexion determines what colour will best suit you. But ensure to have lots of white, blue and grey. Avoid colours like purpple, yellow, and heavy flowery shirts. * have at least 7 trousers (black, navy blue, brown, cream) and 4 jeans (blue, black and any off colour). * wrist watches. Depending on your age and stature select nice and unique wrist watches. I have stopped wearing chain wrist watches and wrist watches of big head. My wrist watches are mainly leather (Black, brown and white leather strap. I love them to be chronometer as well. But very unique piece. I won't give a range on thisbecause I like mine expensive. The last set I got in Cedi mall Accra were $430 but I sure know you can get very nice piece between N15,000 -N45,000 My brother please avoid all this fake and and obvious immitation Rolex, Omega, Rado and the rest. Depending on where you go, big men always know fake wrist watches, I personally know them and I don't appreciate them on a guy. * Have a few base ball hats (face cap) and kangol hats. They could be nice on weekends. *have a couple of 3/4 trousers of difference colour. * Body spray. There are a few none expensive but very good body spray from as little as N500 - N1,500 * Perfume. Never Ever wear or buy an immitation perfume. It sucks. You can get the like of Japol, Euphoria by Ck, Givenchy (50ml) and lots more from and little as N7,000. Never ever underestimate the power of wearing a good perf. People always notice you wherever you enter. *Body Cream. I went a whole 10years without rubbing cream for a single day. But 3 months ago I was touched by the spirit and I now us vaseline alovera. I buy it from shoprite and it is only N400 . Shebi na to rub something for body after bathing. * Haircut. Always ensure you are on low cut. You can never ever go wrong with this style. It makes you appear neat, responsible and mature at all times. Avoid Neck chains, bangle, earings. They never make you appear responsible. I hope this little help. I just budgeted a substantial sum to do a little shopping by next weekend because I also need to get my grove back on. |
Now I can see who these boys have been rolling with that they went into the Oil Business. By the way, how come they didn't wake me from my Hotel room to come and snap with them. Assuming Jonathan was in that picture without me, I for call for him impeachment straight. |

Life is a swinging pendulum. It could swing towards any direction that's why you must always be prepared. Don't forget the pendulum will also never remain in your hands for too long so make use of the best of opportunities and remember where you were yesterday, where you are presently and where you might be tomorrow. Yesterday it was Orits Wiliki, Junior and Pretty, Blackky, we know those reigning today, what about those to come tomorrow? No one knows only God and your destiny. Pray hard, Remain Patient, Stay humble and watch the best yet to come. Arthur Nzeribe, MKO Abiola, Gabriel Igbinedion, Harry Akande, Deinde Fernandez, Nwayanwu were all at one point or the other Nigeria's richest (or amongst top 10) today both them and their children are just a little better than the average Nigerian family. Never lose focus or give up when people condemn you or don't believe in your dreams. Never feel bad because that lady rejected you because you have only 2shirts and one sandals. Keep moving and keep you dream alive. Afterall the Sun that shined in Australia to mark their dawn will still also come to Nigeria in a few hours time. Never measure your success with that of others. Life is never a race between two people. List Of Nigerian Celebrities That Will No Longer Be Famous In 5years Time https://www.nairaland.com/1271143/list-celebrities-no-longer-famous |

Okiki Oluwa, the man with feelings. But definitely not when it comes to tackling jonathan. Nice choice bro but unfortunately most ladies don't support the idea of having house helps in the early part of the marriage because they don't trust you guys. |
