OLULAW:The foolish man you are talking about here is you. Whats the correlation with my write up and your reply. Mumu man. |
Jonathan39:If you are following up on news about how the government is tackling the issue of Insurgency in the North East, you will not use your hands to write this rubbish you just did. Serious military operation is ongoing in Bornu, Yobe, Zamfara, parts of Sokoto Nd numerous other places on the North East. The situation is so bad that in Zamfara state for example the communications stations have been shut down, people cannot use mobile phones anymore. That's to show you the level of engagement our security apparatuses are involved in. I also hear that some local government areas in Kaduna state will soon be without telecommunications access because of Military operations there very soon. So what is my point exactly? To point out to you the activities of Government to combat crimes and illegalities in the North. Please some of us are interested in the wellbeing of every part of Nigeria. I am not playing the stupid and foolish ethnic card you are playing. I have friends there and their businesses are suffering. If you have sense you will know that government need to do more as regards safe guarding lives and properties in South East. Well done Mr ipob, weldone Mr ESN. |
treesun:When it comes to roads in Nigeria, I can say I have the requisite knowledge, research and experience to discuss on this topic. I will not disclose myself but you have been economical with the truth and I dont know what you want to achieve with it. If not for FERMA the economic activities of this country would have grounded to a halt. If you say there is room for improvement then I will understand not saying FERMA is the issue with Nigerian roads. You need to apologise to Nigerians for this false and cheap scores you are trying to achieve. After all you are not even a politician, why the lies?? |
DubaiLandLord2:if the comment is funny to you. It is not funny to me. Comments that can send wrong signals and mischief to others are not funny. Be guided pls. |
[quote author=adabaraabdul post=106315892]Mr man i said *i* need to study the bill more to understand. Hello, I said I. Seems you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. Besides I dont see anything different i said from what you wrote. Sometimes when your reading someone's reply to you rs, read to understand. I am not your enemy please. You make it seem like we know and we are having differences. |
Shoodboi:Mr man i said *i* need to study the bill.more to understand me. Hello, I said I. Seems you woke up on the wrong side of the bed today. |
[quote author=Shoodboi post=106306237]For those who find the move suspicious, or are wondering what's happening, what they're saying is that: The Senate just passed a bill scrapping FERMA (the agency responsible for repairing federal roads) and hoping to replace it with a new agency that will no longer repair roads but instead, offer contracts for the repair of the roads to politicians who will do their repairs on the roads and mount tollgates on them, as Tinubu did at Lekki. Most of the road contracts are handled by contractors. The difference is just the tolls coming on board. I think I need to study the bill more to understand better. |
DubaiLandLord2:this is direct labour intervention. There are various classes of intervention. You did not sound very enlightened with your post. |
FreeStuffsNG:one has to be patient with alot of people here on nairaland. I dont understand th rational behind him or her saying FERMA worsen the roads in Nigeria. You have highlighted the various challenges Ferma is facing as a Government agency, improvements and positive interactions is all we should seek for here. |
That is why I have always supported police and military intervention in the South East. You can see what some Ipob sympathisers are saying? That the killing is state sponsored? This is very annoying. Why can't government declare a state of emergency in the South East and flush this criminals away. They are killing the livelihood of the people. The whole of the South East is not secured, people cannot come out to erk a living. IPOB and ESN is now the Government in the South East. If Government have been able to secure the safety of the people of the South East and this assassination happened, nobody will even start to finger the Government culpable. Government should act fast and more decisive to stop this blood shed on the South East. |
This is how politics should be....in the middle of the inter party brouhaha the people are enjoying the dividends of democracy. I like this. More of this your Excellency(s) and Honourable ministers. |
Your people are dying and you don't want to talk much because heads will roll. Why don't you talk so atleast decisive actions can be taken? If you know something the Government does not know, you better talk. |
Truthissupreme:you are a typical wailer. This project is real and progressing. Why are people like this?? |
The punishment is too lax. Saga should remember that its all the game....the whole big brother thing. He just spoiled some fun and drama for viewers. |
Iyaebe:this comment is very irresponsible. Alot of people don't do shady things at all here in Nigeria. They work their ass out and make the best of what they get. Please be guided. |
Are you kidding me? I know how annoying that can be, well thats that gender for you. For your own good, just meet her at her parents and have a descent discussion with her, dont get angry. Let her express herself and you can take it up from there. If you decide to ignore and continue with your life, I bet you, you will not like the outcome.. |
Church is a business and as such legal framework should be drafted so that the hierarchy of the business entity is well defined. Quite unfortunate for SCOAN. |
No idea but looks good |
Well for me. Support her in little ways. Since you are working and you are earning relatively fairly. After she gives birth go and do DNA TEST. IF the baby is yours discuss the next step with her. Since you don't usually have feelings for females, you may decide to marry her after all she's had a child for you...atleast you will have a better feeling for the mother of your child than some other women out there.... |
TarOrfeeek: |
DoggoneDogg:which Buhari do you mean? Can you make it clear? |
mountmoriah:well this you have said is a winner in the open court of public opinion. But I have been going through some documentations and interviews, even the so called hard line religious extremists are now toeing the path of calm and allowing for people to express themselves. |
kb83:I wil never understand the sense of killing in the name of God. Never. |
Fahdiga:well this is actually impossible in Nigeria, sorry. |
FIRS should aggressively pursue recovering this revenue. Very much needed at a time we are suffering so much from revenue drop. |
This is an appeal to the president of a country i believe. There wasn't any need for that portion where it was written therein that there are two laws operating in the country. That wasn't very smart. I don't know how the president is responsible for this. The way and manner people think on nairaland baffles me everyday. The army should the needful and stop this blockade, it doesn't make any sense. |
KillMNKnow:from a political view...boycotting elections is the most foolish thing anybody will ever do. What do you gain by boycotting elections? You just made your opponent a winner....simple. is there no political scheming left in you? |
PlayMaker14:hahahaha...good one! Mean too |
Up UAR. |
BabbanBura:the Nigerian army is beyond catchment area, religion and tribe. Sorry it won't work. |
Women sha....smh. |
If true this is a welcome development. We need people like this to keep us together as one living in peace and unity while we still continue to peacefully call on the government to do better and more in terms of governance. |
