Hi everyone. So, in this age that almost every guy that comes to you is thinking of how to sleep with you, my question is how can you make or how can a guy who just wants to sleep with you, fall in love with you? Please mature responses only. Thank you
Yes, almost every man wants to sleep with you. I feel the real question is how do you avoid being cheated.

Its simple, dont give sex because you think a guy is in love, be yourself and give sex when you want it. If sex becomes a reward to a guy, you will always feel cheated. Some girls feel like sex is their most prized possesion, when they give, they expect a guy to give his most prized possesion which is his commitment. Unfortunately, guys never give commitment because of sex.

All the girls that give sex freely without emotions never feel cheated, those who attach emotions to it will cry for been cheated.

Its just unfortunate, there is no sure way to make a guy stick around unless he has seen what he had not seen before and after he met you. Sweet sex can keep a man longer. The good person you are can keep a man forever.

I have a friend who is 35, all his friends are married and he has no girlfriend to propose to. He met a young girl, 22, he wanted her so badly, sex and all. She thought it was just the sex and denied him. His cousin sister who never knew he was after a certain girl recommended a girl, 32, in another state, they fell in love after seeing each others facebook profile and talking on phone. The first day they met was like that of people who knew themselves for years. Sex wasnt an issue, they had it same week they met. I have never seen my friend in love until now. When i think of the 22 yr old girl, she made a mistake of her life thinking it was all because of sex. Now, she is begging for attention, initiating chats and calls in vain.

Olulinks:
The prescribed psi that you see by the doors side of the cars are only for new tires. It won't work for used and expired tires that are popularly used by the many Nigerian people. The Vulcaniser are right, they know many of those tires being brought to them are old and expired.
This is absurd because you have not shed any light on why it will not work for used tires.

As a matter of fact, used tires are more suscrptible to bulging, twisting and blowing off due to high pressures.

As a matter of fact, the only situation that warrants you to put more than required pressure is when the car is loaded to its capacity weight. Every vehicle has its total capacity of weight. The sticker provides for the pressure at capacity weight. For example, my car is a 2003 Honda accord LX. The sticker says 30psi front 29psi back. It also says the capacity weight is 385kg and the pressure at full capacity is 42psi. Cosidering i always drive alone, i use 32psi cold but when i engage on a planned trip with my family, i put 35psi. I rarely put 40psi or carry full passengers.

On another note, my tire has a maximum load capacity of 670kg and maximum pressure 44psi. Considering the maximum capacity of my car is half of that of the tires there is no way i will want to put maximum pressure.

Lastly, i am not majority of Nigerians so i dont buy expired tires. Not that i have not bought tokumbo, i actually did a couple of times but never an expired one. The ones i bought usually have a short expiry due time while i plan for a new tire.

I beg to differ with u
The pressure on d tyre is best to be used bc its specific for d said tyre
The pressure set by d car manufacturers refers to that of d tyre the car originally came with, so what of if one has a change of tyre?
No to that.

A car comes with several specifications on labels. Aside that of tire specifications, there is one of Air conditioning. My car's refridgerant from factory is R134a, are you saying am free to change it to R12 just because that was factory and the replacement isnt?

If you buy a TV or any electronic item, you have to check the label before you plug it. Do you know that if you buy that electronic item and its sticker says 120V and you plug it any where in Nigeria it will immediately damage it? Why is that, because Nigeria has a standard supply of 220V. 160-240V is what they normally deliver which works with most appliances. US and Japan use 120V and give a tolerance of 90-140V.

The pressure you see on the tire is a maximum rating. That is, this tire cannot handle pressure beyond what is writen.

My car manual gave me 35psi
But checking d tyres of d car I saw max 51psi
I think the best notion is to check what's on d tyre of d vehicle especially if one has had a change of tyres before after car purchase.
Somewhere before or after the 51psi, the word max or maximum is writen.

Thats meant to be a rated maximum in any case this tire is to be used. The actual pressure is writen on the car.

Please, know the two things there. There is maximum loading writen there as well as maximum pressure. Is your car the weight writen on the tire that you would want to match the pressure? Your car has a specific weight, it is through the weight the car manufacturers chose the tire size and pressure. The tire manufacture doesnot know your car so they gave you a limit beyond which there is no guarantee.

1. 90% accident ain't caused by blow up but by reckless driving.

2. 30-35 psi will neva be cool for Nigeria Drivers who uses their vehicle for overloading (bad anyway)
1. This thread is about tires not accident in general
2. Every tire has a load limit and a maximum pressure limit. Overloading is one rule breaker, adding pressure beyond the limit is signing one's death warrant.

I cant say which one is more dangerous between overloading and over pressure, combining the 2 is certainly more dangerous.

One othe fact is that under pressure is even more dangerous to over pressure. Thats because under pressure increases the surface area in contact with the asphalt which means higher tire temperature and higher risk of blowout

My parents have a Samsung 32" LCD series 4 tv bought in 2009. I can get the specs later. The TV power went out one time and never came on. It was repaired in Jos for N2,500 that something was blown. The electrician recommended they use surge protector. Even with the surge protection, it got blown again. We dumped the TV and i got another Samsung 32" from spar in Abj but was stolen a month later. The old one had been fixed again and was mounted but few months later it gave up again for the 3rd time. The TV is still lying down for almost a year now.

What part do you think is responsible and that cheap? I didnt follow my parents to the electrician but i wish to know if i can get a better quality of the broken part. Where do you operate, Abj or Lag?

What you didnt mention is the fact that on most cars, the word "COLD" is written above or after the rated psi.

What the cold means is that the rated psi is at cold temperatures. This is because air pressure of the tire increases when the tire temperature rises. By driving, because of friction, heat from asphalt, brakes and ambient heat, tire temperature would rise considerably. Therefore it is best to pump air to recommended pressure in the morning before driving off or not far from the house/take off point before the tire temperature rises.

Wrong. I use the same tire. It says maximum pressure 44psi.

It means if your car says to put 50psi, this tire can handle 44psi max. It doesnt stop you from using the manufacturers recommendation. The recommended pressure is related to the size of tire and weight of car.

In other words pumping tyres are best done in d afternoon or it doesn't Matter
It matters a lot.

Do what the car manufacturer says. In my case as shown in the picture above, my car says cold and that is preferable in the morning.

What i have said before is for those who guage their tires 40psi flat. If they do that in the morning, then its dangerous since the temperature will go higher when the tire gets hot.

As shown below, my car tire has a maximum pressure rating of 44psi. If i inflate in the morning to 40psi and by after noon because of temperature it gets to 45psi, that will be over the max from there it is susceptible to exploding. There are some guages that are wrongly calibrated or the vulcanizer may not be very accurate then pumps 45 or 50psi actually. That will be really dangerous since hot temperature could get the pressure to 50-55psi.

The only factor that can increases on decreases the pressure in a closed system here (dry water in tyre) is volume.
Where is temperature? Both Charles and Boyle's law relates to temperature. Why did you keep it aside?

Anyways, sorry that i didnt mention all the laws and the particular one relating to this matter. There are actually 3 gas laws with respect to pressure, volume and temperature. I mentioned the first 2 but forgot the name of the last. I just remembered it.

Its Gay-Lussac's law which states that when a volume of a gas is kept constant pressure is directly proportional temperature.

Note that a tire only changes in shape but not in volume. Any tire that changes in volume will not carry the weight of the car.

Pressure cooker, constant volume, increase in temperature gives rise to increase in pressure.

The Nescafe can example volume is kept constant to a limit, as temperature increases pressure in the can increases till the cover (volume) can no longer hold the pressure.

So it is not wise to pump the tires in the morning.
From the picture below of the sticker in the drivers door way, notice it says COLD TIRE PRESSURE.

That means it is better to guage the correct pressure in the morning.

Infact it means, avoid guaging your tires in the afternoon.

However, you could do an experiment by guaging tire in the morning, check the pressure change in the hot afternoon. You can use the afternoon pressure to guage your tires anytime you need to guage in the afternoon.

If the water will have any effect on the tyre,I think is not a must to reach 100 degree Celsius before it reduces or increases it pressure.I fink the volume need to be considered than the temperature of the water because the volume will determine the pressure of tyre on asphalt than temperature of water inside the tyre.

Pls I dnt get u here, educate me on how dry air can expand in a closed system. If other physical properties remain constant except increase in volume.
In physics, Charle's law. Charle's law states that when the pressure on a sample of a dry gas is held constant, the temperature and the volume will be directly related. I.E Volume is proportional to temperature. This means that if temperature increases, the volume of the gas will increase but when volume is kept constant the pressure increases.

Take an empty Nescafe can and seal with its lid then drop it in a fire. You will get a explosion and the lid will be sent flying. Thats to tell you even air expands with higher temperature.

Alternatively, borrow or buy a tire guage, check your tire pressure very early in the morning. Wait till the sun is high say 2pm, drive on the asphalt for 30mins. Stop and check your pressure. It will not be the same.
Car Talk › Re: Pumping Our Tyres At The Roadside During High Humidity; Any Risks? by adanny01(m):
Kashif:
I was conducting a little research on air compressors last evening, and something came to my mind.

The vulcanizers we find around us have the air compressors feeding the tyres directly, without any filter or storage tank. These help get rid of water which is a byproduct of compressed air. I remember stopping to buy something close to a vulcanizer one humid morning, and noticed that the hose end left on the road had considerable moisture coming out. Enough to get the asphalt where it was resting wet.

Now I am thinking, could there be a risk inflating our tyres off those sources, and getting water in? Could the quantity of water be enough to considerably increasing the pressure in the tyres on a hot day, especially if over-inflated? I am not an expert, but I know that steam under pressure is a high risk.

As a way of mitigation, would inflating our tyres only on a sunny day help?

Can fellows with a better understanding throw more light? This is just me thinking aloud.
Unfortunately, manufacturers recommend guaging tire when cold, preferably in the morning. Pressure of a gas such as air increases with temperature. If your car has a recommendation of 35psi cold and you guage your pressure in the hot afternoon, the cold pressure could be lower say 30 or 32psi which is below recommended.

If you guage pressure in the morning and put 40psi like they usually do, the pressure will be above 40psi say 45psi when the day gets hot and you drive on the hot pavement. This will be dangerous as most tires have a maximum inflation pressure which is mostly 40psi. So you see, the tire is over inflated and the risk of blow out is very high.

Lastly, i know that pressure has a relationship with temperature but with moisture, i doubt. Even if there is, it will be less significant as temperature. The relationship between pressure and temperature is the principle behind the pressure cooker. Even a pressure cooker has a pressure control valve which without, the cooker is a bomb waiting to explode under high temperature.

For those who drink beer know that a hot beer when opened pops and hiss but a very cold beer will not even hiss when open. Thats because the chilled beer has reduced the pressure inside the bottle while the hot beer increases the pressure. All this happens because bottles are sealed with carbon dioxide gas for preservation given the name carbonated drinks. This gas does expand with higher temperature.

Car Talk › Re: How Do I Know When A Car Battery Was Produced? by adanny01(m): 9:55pm On May 08, 2016
One thing we all should know is that 90% of the car batteries on the spare part shops are actually not "dry cells" but sealed "wet cell" batteries. dry cells are usually sealed while wet cells are open for maintenance. The spare part dealers cheat by sealing wet cell batteries like it was dry cell and sell as such.

We all know wet cells are cheaper and require maintenance unlike dry cells which are more expensive but maintenance free.

These dealers cash in to our ignorance by sealing wet cells like dry cells and selling at the cost of dry cells. Wet cell batteries have a longer shelf life because the acid is introduced after purchase. But with these sealed wet cell, they have the shortest shelf life. Thats why its a miracle if such batteries last more than a year.

When you go to buy battery next time, pick it up and give it a shake close to your ears. If you hear liquid, thats actually a "sealed wet cell".

Remember, wet cell batteries require maintenance, sealing it means you will not enjoy the battery after its maintenance is due.

Infact, the term "dry cell" has disappeared from most battery lables because of this cheat. I have decided to return to the old wet cell batteries which are as cheap as 7k but more relaible to the dry cell look alikes.
