Romance › Re: Why Do Only Broke Men Approach Me For Marriage? by adanny01(m): 11:49pm On May 05, 2016
mizlolar:
Please i need ur help. Am having challenges in area of relationship. I have the problem of ending up with men who are nothing but gold diggers. They seem good from the start but before a few months, they will turn into pests.

I dont know what is responsible for this. I just need a man who ll love me on the basis of who i am not what i have. I am from a well to do family, I am the only daughter of my parents and my dad is late, I actually inherited quite a lot and initially it seemed like a blessing until I got older.

All the Guys i ve met so far re fake displaying fake love just to get hold of what is in my possession. I will give you a little insight so you can understand what I am going tru. Around 2013, my then fiance kidnapped himself and because i already knew he was too needy and then their was a lot of inconsistencies in the story so i ignored the kidnappers who were demanding for 700k ransom. The guys showed up 2 weeks later fuming without any injuries or even shedding any weight

He was ranting and saying all sorts like how wicked i was and how i abandoned him to die. I had to break it off immediately because he was beginning to sound like i was his mother and father joined together. The next relationship went quite the same way.

The guy sold my car and came up with stories of how he was robbed at onipanu by palm-grove. unfortunately for him, i had a tracker which had its own inbuilt battery, so when they disconnected the car battery thinking they have disabled the tracker, they gaffed. the car was subsequently tracked down to shagamu at a hotel managed by his cousin. these are just the few recent ones.

There are many more experiences that i wouldn’t bother you with but I am tired. the worst is that some will even want to move in with me because of the comfort of my place. Its really frustrating. My mum said i should stop driving but its nearly impossible for me to get around lagos without a car.

I simply stopped using the big cars and got a Toyota matrix and i even had to drive myself so it dosnt look like i am the one attracting the wrong men and scaring away the good ones yet i haven’t been lucky.

I am not looking for a millionaire, I just want a man with a little dignity and value not the ones who will start demanding for loans or come up with stories within months of how their visa was stuck or how their mother was diabetic and needed money for blood transfusion. I have heard a lot of such stories and i am tired.

I dont know if my mum is right that i am scaring away the right ones with my lifestyle. Honestly, i dont even live flamboyantly neither do I club. I am in my early 30’s and i really need to settle down.

Plz help me with ideas on how to stop attracting gold digging shameless men. As at now, 4 guys re on my neck including head of admin in my firm but they are all my subordinates and I don’t want a scandal. Thank u.

Please advice. I don't need abuse from you guys... Thanks
1. You claim not to be rich, but later said you stopped driving big cars and settled for Matrix (that could be the 2016 model). With the level of comfort i see in your post, you are far above average, it is suitable to say rich. In fact, nobody becomes a gold digger to date a broke girl.

2. You have a good job, but i dont think you have close friends or you are withdrawn from friends. It means most men cant access you. Am sure you will not give your mobile no to a random guy in the mall, gym or airport. Since you dont walk the street, no guy can hail you. You dont have friends to go to a bar, party or socialize.Only if you work in a bank or something of sort will you meet different people every day. In summary, where will you meet a guy if you run you life like a triangle? These days, guys dont dig even church girls.

3. You went to the university, that is the best place to hook guy.

4. Most rich girls like you desire to be given a treat, that means no broke guys. Girls like you dont take risks, and so, no pain, no gain. You own big cars and houses, how do you expect a broke guy to approach you. If he does, everyone will say he is a gold digger no matter how good his intentions are. Am sure by now, you think that all broke guys are gold diggers, the one who isnt, is lost in the lot. I guess its normal for you to want to keep your things to yourself, infact matters such as these often lead to divorce. I had the opportunity to marry a rich girl but i passed it up to marry my class because of this. I was sure i wasnt a gold digger but i knew the gold is too heavy for me to carry. I wasnt ready to sell my manhood to the highest bidder, so its really complicated to date or marry a rich girl.

If i were you, i will start eating in a fast food joint or buka. Keep an eye for a lonely nice man eating quietly on his own. Ask to join his table, notice his phone or wrist watch and ask him about it. After the meal, if he doesnt ask for you contact, ask his. Am sure you cann handle that, you have to start a relationship with your head then later your heart.

When you fix a date, you have to find out the most important things about him before you become friends on any social media. So give a number that is not on whatsapp. Remember, you have to know the most important things about him on or before the first date.

Most people look at the wrong places for partners. Sorry your dad is not alive to make arrangee for you, sometimes it works.

I must confess that ABU is the best school in Nigeria A school were you have NO option of sorting lecturers, you must read to pass, selling of handout is prohibited , NO submitting of assignment with money, NO exam malpractice (if caught its automatic rustication/expel), NO any form of extortion by lectures themselves or through class reps et .

90% of Nigeria graduates in other universities have sorted , paid for handout or assignment in one way or the other .

ABU is certainly the best and I will definitely go there for my masters .

An ABU graduate is ahead of you naturally.

#truetalk
The best part is there is zero cultism and absolutely no sexual harrasment.

The only unfortunate thing is that you wont graduate with a grade you deserve, but atleast in competing with others you will be underestimated then lead.

My sincere advice to SE is that they should depart from their waysof putting all their eggs in one basket.

In PDP, the closest chance they have is 2027 but in APC its earlier in 2023.

It gets worst for the SE if the present APC Marriage between the North and SW continues and the party wins 2019 without SE. That would mean when the presidential turn of APC gets back to the south in 2023, it will definitely be SW again. The SE will kiss the presidency bye for a long long time to say 2039.

Too bad, igbos (SE) need to split themselves.

DISCLAIMER: This topic refers to the route from Warri to Kano Only please.

I travelled recently from Warri to Kano and here are my observation about the HighWays:-
Southern Part
From Warri passing through Benin by pass, Ekpoma, Auchi, Okpella and Okene straight to Lokoja
POTHOLES: About 60% of the Road is filled with potholes, very dangerous I must say.
DOUBLE LANE: Less than 35% of the Road is double laned, Not good Either.
------------------------------
Northern Part
From Lokoja passing through Abuja, Niger, Kaduna and Zaria straight to Kano.
POTHOLES: Less than 20% of the Road is filled with Potholes, at least this is good.
DOUBLE LANE: Up to 90% of the Road is double laned, a laudable feat.

Thats my analysis, what's your opinion guys.
SOURCE: My Journey to the North.
Thats because you are not a highway engineer.

If you were, you will know that soil engineering properties is not the same in every nook and crany of Nigeria. Because of this, roads are cheaper and more durable in Northern Nigeria than south.

Phase 1A of the PH project is over 5km, other phases make the rest. More than half of the 5km has been completed but for Madam Patience interferance, PH would have been the 1st to have monorail. Technically, they are, since their monorail train was tested. An is very much on ground.

Because you are familiar with Lagos does not mean PH is so small that you cannot travel 100km within the city.

I think you should be shameful, calling someone a liar with no facts. Are Nigerians divided into either APC or PDP touts? It is a fact that the Cross river mono rail is absolutely incomparable to the Rivers. One is a tourist transit train and the other a mass transit train. Cross river is a steel track while Rivers is concrete. Cross River has 1 track while Rivers has 2 tracks. Cross River train is a P8 while Rivers trains are P30 models of same brand. Cross river is 3km while Rivers is 20km. Cross River has 3 stations while Rivers has 14. Lastly, for the fac that Rivers is doing this within the city tells you how difficult and expensive it most be against the tourist version.

I guess people like you dont see anything good unless its done by PDP, thats how your leaders stood by and watched the Hausa Senators redistribute funds meant for the Lagos calabar rail.

bet what is wrong in gold digging huh
What is actually wrong with gold digging is that you get clumsy with the dirt. It means a guy sees mud all over you instead of the beautiful girl he thought he saw.

The problem with gold digging is not gold digging but its gold digging every where.

The guy saw gold, obviously, he is silver, bronze, copper or steel. This girl knows she is gold, but is still digging deeper. Some people never know when its enough.

The guy is sharp, the girl is dumb. He knows there is gold, so he digs. She has found gold, whats she digging? Even if she wants to dig harder, she should go and dig where there is gold.

you are right. no one, including the EFCC should be allowed to have a hold on the judge that will preside over his case. The fact that EFCC can decide to prosecute Umar tommrrow means he must do whatever they want to evade prosecution. Saraki can excuse himself from the plenary when it is time to confirm the new judge. It is still buhari that will send the name of CCB chairman to senate and senate cant just say we are not confirming this person for no reason
Whether Saraki excuses himself or not, most senators have his interest and will still do his bidding. Was Saraki the one who summoned the CCT chairman to Senate? No. Why did they do it? Why are Senators following him to trial? There is no way that bias will not be used in confirming a new CCT chairman.

Why do you think Ameachi had a tough time before becoming minister? Thats even when Ameachi had no problem with maajority of the Senators o, including Saraki. If Saraki and Ameachi were enemies, Ameachi would not have become a minister no matter how Buhari wants him. There is no way Saraki will let any judge who will unbiasedly try him get confirmation.

It is only fair for Umar to finish the case, appeal and Supreme courts are there.

Umar is clearly disturbing this trial by insisting he must sit on it..... we need an untainted Judge and we want Saraki to be tried fast. Meanwhile EFCC has no powers to clear an accused only a court of competent jurisdiction can.
A Judge on administrative bail cannot for corruption cannot be trying a corruption case brought by his own very investigators.... Umar stop disturbing our anti-corruption crusade biko.

why are you following me Arch Lawal? Please unfollow me asap.
Use your God given head, think harder!

Why do you think Saraki wants Umar gone. There is only one reason.

A new CCT Chairman must be screened by the senate. In which case, Saraki and his cohorts will only approve any judge who promises to throw the case away. Imagine judges lobbying Saraki to become the CCT Judge, what do you think is at stake? JUSTICE!

It is impunity waiting to happen and every right thinking Nigerian must reject it. No one should be allowed to appoint the very judge that will dock him. That is a prerequisite for complete bias and impunity.

Excuzeme:
Is SOLAR Inverter, different from those used with Batteries, charged by Nepa?

Thanks
From my understanding, i cant picture what that is it if it does exist.

Solar panels generate electricity, you can use that electricity directly or indirectly. You can use that solar electricty to power a TV or any appliance. The only problem is that the panels could generate more current than your appliance may require, that will be dangerous for the appliance. So you need a regulator to supply the appliance exactly what it needs. Thats where the solar charge controller comes in.

Now, the solar panels produce Direct Current (DC) Electricity, the batteries are in DC too, so no inverter is required. However, our usual TV, lightenings, fans, laptop power packs require Atlernating Current, so if you which to use those appliances, you will need an inverter connected to the solar panel or battery to convert the DC to AC.

In some off grid solar applications like country homes or bush camp cabins for example, you can choose to buy a DC fridge, TV, fan, lighting etc and you will not require an inverter. In such a case, you need a solar panel, charge controller and batteries to store excess electricity.

The conventional inverter is a combination of a DC to AC inveterter for AC applications and an AC to DC charger to use grid electricity (NEPA) to charge the batteries.

A hybrid back up power system (off+on grid) consist of solar panels, charge controller, AC-DC charger and the batteries. On grid system has no solar panel and charge controller. Off grid has no AC-DC charger.

The DC-AC inverter is optional in all cases.

You didnt put it this way. There are alot of fake inverters and batteries out there. Anyone who does not research before buying especially batteries will waste money.

Those who buy battery banks take higher risks as one bad battery will take out the rest. Replacing one failed battery is not adviseable either so they are forced to dump the whole bank.

Thanks for this, how much is it, i plan to buy it for fridge, fan, sound system n tv only... Tho we get 18 hours of light here in Enugu, at times 3 days straight, i just want uninterrupted power
I was given this battery free. But the inverter was the cheapest available at 20k. Now the inverter should be 25k or more.

It is my opinion that you drop the fridge especially as you are planing a small system. A fridge draws about twice its capacity to start, besides, its not a power saving device so you will not have good back up with it. With inverter, the more you spend the more relaible it is.

You and I both know the whole solar panel ish is not so true, fine it works for some but the same time its rubbish for some...inverters no matter powerful need electricity either from Nepa or a gen to charge them plus the battery lifespan is also another issue to consider,I've had numerous battery issues, the latest was when one of them exploded, the inverter is good but lets stop painting it as an alternative to generators or Nepa outrightly
You are just being too negative. Nothing can give any home or industry power cheaper than NEPA. When alternative power is mentioned, it doesnt mean its a complete subtitute. An inverter is called back up electricity, for that reason it is not a back up and not a replacement for NEPA.

If you have a solar system and it doesnt charge well for you, sorry, your solar panels, charge controller, batteries or even the connection could be bad. It doesnt mean that the whole solar ish is bad or rubbish. Those who live in Sokoto and the one who lives in Yenogoa do not have the same amount of sunshine per day, there are bound to be differences. From my knowledge, there are 3types of solar panels and all have different sun harvest capacity. If you buy the cheapest, you dont expect yours to perform magic.

You complain on batteries, did you buy original American batteries and it failed you in 6 months? Why condemn every thing when you didnt buy the best quality.

Below is my small 1.2kv mercury inverter with one 200Ah battery. I get well over 12hrs of back up I cant measure how much it saved me but i can tell you the my wife kissed me and said thank you for this. My neighbours envy me, one is planning for his.

The sweetest fact is that we can sleep through the heat with fan and no noise from generators. Because of the scarcity, neighbours have been spending a lot on fuel to run generators. The last fuel i bought was a 5litre at N200/litre. I didnt use up to 1hr when light was restored and thats over 3weeks ago, the fuel remains unused.

To make the sorry interesting, NEPA started a stupid regime when we have light throughout the day but blackout at night when its required for good night sleep. Guess what, am not bothered as we sleep with fans till when they restore the light.

They want to pave way for Saraki to appiont a suitable judge that would squash the case. They have failed already cos Nigerians wont accept pressure on the judge to withdraw.

The person who wrote this article didnt understand the removal of subsidy by Kachikwu.

As at when subsidy was removed and retail price was set at N86.5, the actual cost of landing PMS was less than the retail price. That meant Nigerians paid more than the should right from the word go. A fund was set up to save the difference so that whenever price goes above the retail price, the fund will be used in offsetting the balance we should have paid instead of paying subsidy from government coffers.

Subsidy can only be paid when that fund has been exhausted and landing price is still above retail price.

Kachikwu's plan was to review the retail price upwards when the funds is exhausted.

If that fund is not exhausted, then there is no subsidy. If the fund is exhausted and the retail price is not reviewed, then and only then will NNPC pay subsidy.

Its either the reporter and his editor are not well read or they are just being mischievious.

A lot of people would conveniently ignore this piece of information because it has effectively exposed the the ongoing deceit and propaganda. In other climes, Rotimi Amaechi would have been asked to turn in his letter of resignation by now:

" I repeat, the Calabar-Lagos rail line was never in any versions of the 2016 budget.

And we have told Amaechi, to produce his version of the budget; the line and head that captured the Calabar-Lagos rail line. This is the third day, and he is still looking for it.

There were a lot of errors in the budget which we fixed. For instance,:

the appropriation for the EFCC building was increased from N1 billion to N6 billion Naira.

The East-West road was technically abandoned, and we increased funding for it.

How can Amaechi be ranting, that he single handedly sponsored Mr. President. Is that what the budget means to him?

Amaechi said he is diligent, and not corrupt, yet his ministry's budget was over blown by N54 billion Naira.

Nigerians should stand with the National Assembly, and stop anyone who wants to pitch the National Assembly against the President. We did a good job! "
