Fantastically Corrupt people everywhere....
In order for your president to divert attention, and rescue his wife from the Halliburton Scandal, they resorted in replacing His Wife with an Innocent Woman.
This is so devilish, and highest level of Corruption!!!
How much was given to this poor innocent woman, that made her accept to linked herself in a crime she knows nothing about.
How possible is that someone from the same village(Daura) will bear the same Name(Aisha), same Husband name(Mohammadu), and same husband Surname (Buhari) .??
We all know who is AISHA MOHAMMADU BUHARI!!! And we all know it not this woman here.!!!
How can it be possible that this Innocent very poor looking woman will collaborate with big shots like OBJ, Atiku Wife, USA Senator to carry out such a huge corruption acts!??
If she is this powerful to dine with those big shots, were has she been, that no one knows herhuh
Does it mean that USA does not know what they are saying.
huh
Who said Buhari is not corrupt??
They know how to forge, ... they first Forged Buhari Certificate and used billions to hire big lawyers to defend criminality and they also forged National Budget and padded it severally... now this one...
2things.

1. The "Aco" you and all wailers think you saw is actually "Aoû" which is "août" in French for August. I dont know if this is ignorance, stupidity or blindness.

2. The innocent poor woman who you think cannot be poor but own the passport, what does the woman need the passport for if she is poor and cannot afford to use it travel out of Nigeria? Aisha is a very very common name that even Christians bear, my cousin is one. Muhammadu is the most common name in the entire north. Buhari is also a very very common name in the north that even Christians bear it too. I am sure if names were properly documented, Aisha Muhammadu Buhari can occur more than a thousand times.

I guess too many Nigerians are gullible and can be manipulated with ignorance from likes of Fayose.

really impressed with the video and sound. Check upper strut mounts, and ball joints (upper and lower arm joints)
Its usually from the lower arm ball joint. Some kazeem's would cut a piece of rubber from a tire and install there. Another usual cause is the ball joint top part moves against the hole which it is supposed to fit it tightly. I have seen mechanics tag-weld it to stop it from turning while the steering is turned.

What is the naira - dollar cycle

Inflow:

1. Oil export
2.reparterations from Nigeria experteraits
3.other non oil exports( agricultural products)
4.expertrates coming into the country for tourism and investments etc.

Outflow:
Import of goods
Payments of fees in dollars abroad
etc.

The point is if the difference was negative naira will continue to suffer.

Fact is; the economy is such that no foreign investment will be attracted and the incessant changes in government policy among other factors will continue to scare foreign investment.

I see a deeper exchange rate
The outflow is higher than the inflow.

The only thing i think i understood is that, after suspending the outflow for a while the inflow has now climbed over the outflow so they will open the gates for outflow.

If thats the case, very good. However, Nigerias are not in the habit of returning prices to the old rate ones it goes up.

Maybe a divorce suit would wake him off his slumber. Be prepared to lose him and become a single mum as you make suit. It may never be easy for you and her, but thats what a mother gotta do.

In whatever you do, know that he is forever in the life of your child if she eventually choose to. Dont deny him access to her but be extremely careful with letting her out of your sight. Men who are very selfish are known to take what they want not minding the implications.

Lastly, take my advice after you search your soul and convince yourself that what you have told us is absolutely correct with no bias. Since we didnt have his version, some advice might be extreme and would only be a reflection of your side of the story.

If you decide to spend your money without giving you siblings or Family....is it wrong, what if the siblings spent their money without

You should learn to not to stand firm on the altar of Ignorance
I know for a fact that the ignorant do not know they are and most times would like to keep dwelling in it by claiming to be most enlightened.

Secondly, i always like to remain on point and never insist to have my point taken. In other words, its your choice to make sense of my point or stay with yours (the latter being what most ignorant people do).

Though am confused as to whether you want me or you to find figures to show as proof of my point. I find this plain ridiculous and an argumentative mischief. If you wish to contest the fact that Nigeria's economy before the 60's relied on agriculture, just say so but dont ask me for figures and statistics because it makes me feel like am arguing with a primary school pupil.

If groundnuts were produced in the north and cocoa from the west while both are exported, are you saying you dont know the relationship of export income to the economy of Nigeria? Are you sure you are an adult? Are you saying if Erisco foods or Dangote flour mills export processed tomatoes and flour respectively, Nigeria as a country has zero benefit from it? Or, do you think only Eric Umeofia, Dangote and the farmers of tomatoes and wheat are the only ones who benefit. Have you ever heard the word TAX. Is Dangote going to build his personal house in Nigeria with the Dollars he was paid from his export. Where do you think the dolllars ends up? In your view, how does the north benefit from groundnut when not all states in the north produce it?

I sure dont have the time or patience to continue typing so i can educate you. I dont expect you to be reading headlines, you need to know how the economy works and what moves it.

Was Awolowo an exporter of cocoa? I command some sense into you in the name of your diety (i dont want to call the name of my God in vain).

If my sibling will not assist me in my trouble times, i guess thats it. He still will not be able to erase our relationship neither can i. Our children will just grow up with hate and his children will ask, daddy, dont we have cousins? And he will say the are poor. Then your own children will repeat the last generation while you are wondering what ever happened.

I have a trip to make, i wont bother to reply you when i get to my destination hopefully.

Regarding PEPs, the corrupt ones or those that have had one corruption scandal or another or any adverse media linked to them should also be exited.
About a year ago, my office recieved part of their contract payment. Their consultancy services were paid in Dollars as per expertriates and local services in Naira. As the dollar part hit their home account directly from CBN, we the local workers were happy that we had enough money for all our increase in salary/benefits demands, bonuses and allowance will be paid with extras, our hopes was dashed as the management still took like 70% of the local sevices money and illegally converted to Euro which was credited to their account in Europe.

To achieve that, i know for a fact that the bank where the Naira was gave them an impossible list of fulfilments before the money is wired which included informing EFCC and our client (government). Ofcourse, they could not, so the account officer recommended a BDC operative and in 24hrs, Euro hit their account in Europe. I wondered what magic these BDC guys did but i knew that BDC's are bad news for Nigeria without proper regulation as in the present situation. All the BDC are after is their comission and do not bother on the implications on the econony of the country. The BDC guy made N2m from converting N35m to Euro and crediting an acc in europe.

But Op should check if it was system malfunction(error) but if it persist please find your cuberoot.
I have bought items from both Konga and Jumia. Shipping charges are cheaper on Jumia than Konga. You can even ship to a pick up station which is a flat rate as against home delivery that depends on location and weight and size of item. Jumia split the delivery charge to all items on the order but konga charges every item to the seller.

This is the main reason that 95% of my purchases are from Jumia.

The first 2 pictures is an order of the same product on the two sites but with Jumia cheaper on both price and shipping charge.

The second set of 2 pictures is yet the same product with a different seller and still cheaper on jumia with the same shipping while Konga added another shipping.

Check out the final difference in total price of the same products. A WHOOPIING N4,500 difference! Why would i buy from Konga?

I dont know where or how you got that picture, as an olodo, i would have known that a map such as that should have a scale with which to properly make an estimate of distances in ground. Certainly a crossing of the lagoon cannot be 100m if you had an idea of the size of the lagoon itself or scale of the map from such a small picture. Even as the lagoon is well over 500km from my area of daily commute, i know that the lagoon at its longest side is about 50km and so dealing with such body of water, 100m is not near what is represented in the map you shared. You should have known that "less than 100 meters rail bridge" is actually over 1km. Precisely, 1250m. 1150m over your intuitive "less than 100m". You even had to less it.

I am such an olodo! The picture of the bridge in construction is already well over "100m".

Now check this out.... it cost UAE $7billion to construct a world class metro line of over 74km. And with 49 stations and 79 five car trains each fully automated(no driver)
And note that here in dubai the terrain is sandy (desert) so it's more expensive to build on it..... also some of the stations are underground and all stations are fully air conditioned.

Now compare that with what the Lagos state govt is struggling to achieve and you will see that the op isn't high but only being a concerned citizen who wants to know why?
Kai kai kai kai SMH!

Do you actually mean it is more expensive to build in the desert than over the Lagos lagoon? How the hell did you arrive on that?

Like some said, its either some of you are plain mischievious or completely ignorant. May be high on something.

For those of us who know, its pointless to compare projects even if their scope is exactly the same. Even a pot of stew is not worth the same thing in different parts of Naija talk more of another country.

I worked on a trasnmission line project in Akwa Ibom, the cost of the project was just over N2billion while compensation of property and land owners was N6billion. If the same line were to be constrcuted in Sokoto, the cost might have still been less than N3billion but over N8billion in Akwa ibom. Take that project to lagos metro and it might become N30billion, how can one compare.

I guess your last shopping was 2015. Recently Jumia shipment fee is outrageous compare to Konga. #900 item , shipment #3880 on Jumia. Konga sell thesame item #900 and the shipment is #1k. So compare the two.
Each time i wanted to buy anything online, i do check the price in Jumia and Konga. Jumia is always cheaper on most items. I have never seen any item on Konga that was cheaper than on Jumia.

Secondly, shipping on Konga is a fixed price usually round up to the nearest N100 like N1,000. The real reason i hardly buy from Konga is that the delivery is charged per item. Even if the item is N500 you pay N1000 to ship. You buy 6 items at N2000 but pay N6000 for delivery. Also, there is no pick up station delivery in Konga which is actually a cheaper option. Jumia charges delivery for all items in an order. Anytime, i want to buy stuff, i consolidate them and make one order for several items which will be far cheaper than Konga. The jumia pick up station charge is even the best as i dont like people calling me or showing up at my office/home as my colleagues and neighbours looking wanting to see what i bought. It is also more convenient for multiple purchase to pick up at the same time when all have arrived.

Lastly, Jumia runs far more promotions than Konga. I have bought some things so cheap that one would think its a knock off. I used to get coupons regularly giving me very mouth watering discounts that are not available anywhere else. The best was a TV i bought which sold for 115k in LG showroom, 113k on Konga, 130k in Next cash and carry and 99k on jumia (with discount). Not mentioning free deliveries on uncountable items.

Properties › Re: Building Collapse, Construction Failures - Who's To Blame? by adanny01(m):
n3xt:
When it comes to construction projects, all too often people start out with pretty cool 3D drawings and end up with shouting matches or - worse - avoidable lawsuits.

Project may be done in wood, steel and even concrete. But a “minor” mistake, like simple omission of important structural member, can turn it into a big crack or failure of some part of not all of the building - or lead to million-naira repair.

Everybody! Yes! Me, you, the government, the authorities and regulatory bodies, the professional bodies, and everybody has a fair share in this blame.

The Developers: whose primary duty is to engage certified professionals as consultants but failed to do so largely due to an unhealthy profit motivation.

Consultants: the so-called professionals/consultants whose duty is to advise their client on the various aspects of the project and to ensure that due process is followed during the entire project cycle but have failed to honestly advise clients on the pitfalls of shortcuts.

Government: through regulatory bodies charged with the duty of enforcing by-laws and ensuring that any development meets regulatory building standards. Weak technical capacity in local authorities; problems in the development approval process; corruption are all to blame for the problems we experience.

Contractor: who are expected to have the capacity and competence to undertake the specific tasks for the specified scope of works.

Clients: Yes, YOU! For aiding and abetting through wrong selection. You can't claim ignorance!

Manufacturers Association: For producing substandard building materials in order to stay afloat in ever competitive market. You know people prefer cheap and quantity over quality.

Who do you think should be blamed for this problem? Your inputs will be highly appreciated.

Recent study conducted have revealed that unqualified people carry out more than 70 percent of the development-related activities in Nigeria.

At the end of this discussion, we should be able to come up with solutions construction challenges and how to address them.
Too many words have been used, some meaning the same and others not having a direct responsibility. Its hard to compare a developer to a contractor.

A project developer usually has under its employ architects, engineers, builders, accountants, lawyers etc to the extent that the company is a stand alone project team. A developer may engage external professionals but still takes the entire liability as a client. A contractor could be employed by a developer or the developer could execute its own jobs as a contractor.

The government is usually not responsible unless its agents erred by aiding and abetting illegalities on the particular project. Example can be that of giving an approval for an illegal building. Ultimately, as long as there are laws guiding the industry, lack of enforcement cannot be an excuse for breaking the law just as ignorance is not an excuse for breaking the law. Government should'nt be mentioned at all.

Talking about manufacturers, it is analogous to the arm robber and the reciever of stolen goods who are both criminals. So the manufacturer of a fake product and the user of the fake product are both culpable for the eventualities the product's failure. Even if the user can prove that the manufacturer/supplier didnt supply him what he ordered for, there are standard test for materials recieved so i wonder why the user should not be held for confirming his supplies. There are standard codes for testing cement and there is a shelf life for cement so no builder can make an excuse that he was supplied bad cement.

In construction, the client, consultant and the contractor and the main groups. All 3 have their project managers who in most cases does not carry direct liability on his person but his employer which is one of the three main groups. Note that a builder is the same as or a member of staff of a contractor or sub-contractor.

A project failure is investigated in 3 stages i.e approval, design, construction process/materials. At this stage, no one person or group is a suspect.

Approval for building permit and land use is checked at the relevant government agencies. This is to check if the client had fulfilled all laws regarding land use and also to have the approved building drawings which will be compared to as built drawings and existing/failed building. Any infringement here, the client is laible.

Design verification is carried out to make sure the design has passed through correct principles of design and passed minimum specifications. The liability is bored by the structural engineer whose name, signature and seal appears on the drawings. Depending on the type of contract, the engineer may be a staff of either the consultant or the contractor or maybe on his own.

Building use is also investigated to confirm if the approved land use has been adhered to. Building use is also checked to find out if the building has been used for other purposes that would cause the designed ultimate limit state is exceeded. For example if a high rise building was designed for residential purpose and it was converted to a high rise car parking lot, the change in loading pattern could be checked as a cause of failure. If building use is established to be different from the design use or land use, the client is 100% liable.

Lastly, the construction process and materials is tested at this stage. This is more complicated as it requires expertise of the investigating team. Portions of the structural members that have not been destroyed would be tested and material samples will be tested to determine their quality. This is where the builder usually gets caught and some or all responsibility may be shared by the client. The consultants usually easily get themselves out of this faults because we all know most times the client or the contractor have the motive of saving cost for themselves. The consultant has no cost liabilities on this stage so would always want things to be done right.

In the event of a developer, the chief executive and the structural engineer will face liabilities if found wanting.

My oga, with due respect you should not have agreed to that position. This law only favours those who are in public office such as the Nat assembly members. Its corruption figthing back.

An armed robber who is cought does not get a chance to explain himself out of court. The man who beats his wife does not get the chance to explain himself before taken to court. Why should a senator be given a chance to explain himself before he is taken to court?

Ask yourself this question, who will listen to their explanations or whatever will happen? Is it not the duty of the court to listen to the prosecution and the defence? This amendment is illegal and directed towards more illegality.

This is how I see it..."Firefire, you took what does not belong to you..you better return it b4 I take you to court..and then you explained what happened in a defensive manner..if I am not satisfied, I may still choose to take u to court."

I just see this as a way of telling the suspect to get ready for the tribunal.
You took what doesnt belong to you, you have stolen, the only place to go is the court not to come and ask you to explain. Who is going to listen to the explanation if not a judge?

The law does not give room to apologies or re-steps. If you steal and you are caught, the law should not excuse you to go and return the stolen item then come back and claim no crime was commited. This ammendment is a perfect tool to kill the CCB and CCT.

You choose, i only have the 2003-2007 service manual about 390mb and the 2003 owners manual which is about 6mb.

You can just burn that of the common cars around. Toyota and Honda mainly.
I just noticed that 2003-2007 Honda accord is not in ur list and that's what I need for myself. So even if u agree to burn d disc for me, it will just be for helping others, not myself.
I might be in Lagos soon, but it's still under huge probability.
I will continue looking for the repair manual for Honda accord 2003-2007 sedan/coupe i4/v6. Any help will be appreciated.
Like i said before, i do have 2003-7 Honda Accors service manual.

If you have a postal address, i can burn to a disk and post to you. N50 disk and N50 stamp should get it to you in 7-14days.

Thanks alot. Please what can be done about this noise and is there anyway to prevent recurrence when fixed?
Changing it is fairly easy. Sourcing a good replacement part may not be so easy.

Goodmorning GAZZUZZ.
My 2010 Camry engine makes a rattling sound for a few seconds when I start it in the morning. After that 2-3 second rattle, the engine sounds normal.
Please what could be the cause and what can be done?
Sounds like a variable valve timing (vvt) actuator problem i.e intake camshaft.

We had that problem with my friends 08 Accord (vtc actuator). I heard the rattle on another friend's 03 Matrix. That problem is fairly common these days.

Its the copper coloured chain sprocket of the blue camshaft below.

My wife had a cut delivering both our children. She was stitched up both times. Its not bad am not complaining.

However, my complain is the boobs cos its all wrinkly when she lies on he back. She has to be on top for me to enjoy the pair.

That man has no right to complain, he should even be of help by paying your bills to see a gynaecologist.
