MzPreshie: LMAO ooooo. Give me one reason why I shouldn't 'roff' this guy? A goat in name is a goat indeed. You spent 15 years learning to be a player, I wonder how many years you will spend in learning good grammar. From his consistent mis-spelling not only from this post you should notice he is doing it on purpose. Its just humour! |
Randy100: I dey run when i see all this indomie girls.Indomie girls better now, 2 indomie and 2 egg no reach N200. Na fast food girl you go need to run with heels touching back of your head. |
delishpot: I always wanted my kids to have rings in their necks like your kid has. Awwwww, so cute. Can I have him?Of course no, you cant. He's mine already. I did prayed for a cute girl though, i got him and am still thankful to God! |
What if GEJ is booted out 2015? Some warriors go fit die of heart attack. When matured people discuss politics, they give some room for surprises not like i have seen on Nairaland, Premium times, Sahara reporters, Facebook etc. Even with all the insults and threats by their followers, they shook hands and probably called it a truce leaving us still hungry and angry. I certainly know more shockers will fly around. |
Owkward indeed. Maybe Bermuda triangle is expanding! |
donpope1: So many fake dimples, when you talk dimple think DechandelYou gat the original? Pishure or idonblivit. |
Me and my lil kid rocking our dimples

If it were APC trying to impeach PDP governors, you go hear noise. |
NaWetinNa: Sanctions on Israel NOW. Boycott all products and place an embargo on anything going in until Israel pulls out of ALL territories belonging to the Lebanese, Syrians and Palestinians, lift the blockades and puts a end to ALL settlements in Palestinian territories including the occupation of the West bank current and future PERMANENTLY. Israel is no longer credible for any negotiations. The UN is to send in PEACEKEEPER troops to protect the Palestinian civilians and give them a place to run to, now TODAY.Are you serious? Do you know what will happen to them if they lift that blockade on Gaza? That will be suicide. How can Isreal be sactioned when Hamas is still sending rockets. Dont be baised. Isreal have been over doing it a little especially with regards to the arial attacks. Its still war, so if there will be sanctions, it should affect both Isreal and Palestine. |
drumma: Dear Luvinhubby,Get proper wheel balance and swap front tires to back and back to front while also crossing them from left to right and right to left. If the problem becomes better, good for you. If it gets worst then you may have a wheel or tire problem. |
Sirpoccar: Fellow queeniers my mtvbase have not been working for past three days. What might be the cause?I noticed. Even PRTV is off. I rescanned my decorder and didnt find the PRTV again. |
bashexyz: As a Car Key specialistI didnt get you especially the last line. |
McWhillion: Like you said, the question might be in the wrong and the solution i provided defies logical reasoning but then there is nothing like "marked" up price, what i know is "markup" price. Pay attention to how its written "markup" not "mark up", its a word on its own derived from two other words. So in a way it does not concur to the same rule behind "increase" and "increased".I agree with you, your solution defies logical reasoning but gives the direct answer to the question asked while she used logical reasoning to rephrase and answer the question. Back in those school days, 2 lecturers made a similar mistake which brought serious confusion in the exam hall. The first case, the lecturer was called to the hall and he saw it and made the correction while the other who was unavailable at the time had to mark as correct from that step which ever way you went. |
Tinkybabe: Let's assume she left home with t(20% of total money)Yours is the most simple straight forward of all solutions i have seen. Its perfect for me. The op seems to also get it wrong for accepting as correct 12.5% for the answer while his question refered to the percentage of the total amount kelly had which is 10%. The right answer is 10% not 12.5 as the op accepted. The second question is where you didnt take the question for what it is, although still ambigious. I understand that question is off for asking 'what percentage of the profit is the markup price' while you answered 'what percentage of the markup price is the profit' or 'percentage of profit in the markup price'. The two just as i bolded are not the same but an exact opposite of each other . Your answer suits logical thinking making the original question faulty. Logically, the op should have asked 'what percentage of the markup price is the profit' but did it the other way round. |
Imoy: For all of you saying there is nothing serious going on, I bet you are saying that out of your hatred for gej.Have you read my comments above? I am an engineer. That you see is geotechnical investigation. They have to know the soil charasteristics, the depth of the bearing strata, the bearing capacity of the bearing strata and many other parameters even before they design the type, lenght, diameter, concrete type and strength etc to safely transmit forces of the bridge. They have to drill a bore hole taking the excavated soil as samples to the lab for test and analysis. That is what you see goin on. Everything you see there is grossly inadequated for the magnitude of a 1.4km bridge, trust me. When they really start, you see the difference. This is not about GEJ, dont make everything political. |
frank043: This is serious piling work going on! Julius Berger is definitely the right firm to carry out this kind project...Have always wonder the kinda bridge that will be constructed...Will it be able to compete with the cable-stayed in Lagos? Well, the bridge is for real...Civil Engineering is a professional that builds a country's infrastructure....I'm glad to be a Civil Engineer...and will for ever be indebted to University of Ibadan...The First and the best!!!If this is piling work, where in the picture is the concrete pump or the precast piles or even the concrete materials or batching plant or mobile mixers. There is nothing for bridge construction on those pictures, you should know better. If JB is building a bridge, you wont have access to the site. Those people dredging sand in the pictures wont have access to that location. You will need serious documentation to enter their yard or site. This is mare geotechnical investigation done by boring. This has to be done even before the piles are designed. See how alot of people are displaying ignorance. SMH |
This is preliminary soil investigation and op calls it massive. When you see massive them no go tell you. The company my brother works for with HQ in Porthacourt has the contract for EIA (Enviromental Impact Assessment) and they have not gone far with it then after which other relevant approvals and stuff will follow. I can authoritatively tell you guys that design of this project has not been completed not to talk of substructure works. This project has not started at all make no mistake about it. This picture is not anything close to a Julius berger site. Make una chill o. This project no be moi moi. |
GBTYO: state one single benefit of Nyako's government outside his boko empowerment scheme.Who spoke about Nyako? Are you high or something? |
It is a shame that those PDP lawmakers refused to see the good fortune that befell the state upon his assumption of the governor of the state. This man has done in 3 years twice as much as Abdullahi Adamu and Aliyu Doma put together have done in 12 years! Shame on them if he leaves, its not about the party but the good leadership. Am sure he has not been sharing the money. |
oilykid: let the e-war startTrue to your words. No need to ask how we got here, it all started when Yaradua died. |
lygn19: lol...very soon we wud know, its not far from now. All dz injustice, nd irresponsible priviledges u guys accrued to urself we wud know when d tym comes.Only now when we have a president from the south south that a Nigerian will tell another Nigerian that 'you are beneath me' simply because they come from different regions. Very soon the name cockcroach will be adopted and we have another Rwandan case. Weldone Jona. |
I am surprised people here say the Benz is cheaper to maintain. Thats a big no. Apart from its expensive parts, they are sometimes unavailable especially its sensors and body parts. Once my friend spent 2 months looking for wiper motor which he later got for 50k. They easily develop electrical problems and have a lower ground clearance. The key is very very sensitive, easily goes bad and expensive. Kompressor is a supercharger which has more power but i will avoid it because of our mechanics. Lastly, it has a lower second have value than the EOD. EOD spare parts are more available and cheaper. EOD has better fuel economy but very good engine power. Gear box issue that people complain of NEVER EVER CHANGE GEAR OIL UNLESS YOU HAVE ORIGINAL HONDA Z1 ATF. Shaft pulling out, i have never heard. Ball joint pulling out depends on your maintenance habit and quality of replacement parts you buy. Both are very good cars. |
My dad had a 1996 accord which was in perfect condition until the mechanic asked him to service the gear box. He agreed and they used Abro at the time. In summary, we bought a new gear box a month later with no warning. I traveled with the car from my village to Zaria. Went to my friends house but upon leaving there the gear didnt change at all. Just gear 1 and reverse. I changed gear oil to total but that was it, it went flat. |
lonelydora: For the Honda EOD, it is not possible except the chip has been removed. For the Camry, very possible. She said her friend opened the boot. The key may open boot, door and even the ignition but the engine wont start anyways, because it has an immobilizer. Also keyless entry will not work. |
Sagamite: No.LOL! |
Sagamite: That is a very easy question if anyone applies logic.Very unfortunate! Judging that you partly answered as indicated in bold, that you will do it different. That means option 'C' is out of option leaving 'A' and 'B'. Unfortunately, 'B' is not feasible judging from the defence strategy of Hamas by using human shield. I will be right to concluded that you would have chosen option 'A'. Meaning you will prefer Isreal let itself be attacked and attacked till the attackers get tired of attacking or some rockets kill their citizens. Only then should they have the legitimacy of attacking. In addition, if they lift the blockade on Gaza given Hamas free access to better and more deadly rockets, attacks will never end and for sure their citizens will start dying. Then we will start accusing hamas of atrocities or probably not. My thoughts. Not until you decide to say your opinion on Isreali options i will continue to think thats how you want it. When there is violence and mediators have repeatedly failed to arrive at an amicable and acceptable resolution, the result is more violence. What else is the next course of action? There is no moral justification to sanction either Isreal or Hamas/Palestine, because there is no resolution with which to judge. |
Sagamite: I could not help but notice this part in the article of where planes dropped bombs on 4 kids on a beach who had no guns, no bomb firing mechanism and could possibly not be any threat from the beach in Gaza there were in.I have read you alot on this thread. I agreed and disagreed with some of you views even though that is not my reason of quoting your above comment. I have quoted you just to bring you attention to the question i want to ask. I simply want to know your view as regards to what you will have Isreal do in this situation with continued rocket attacks from Gaza by hamas? Let me analogize the question. Supposing you are an authority in Isreal, would you handle the situation differently and how? 3 options of handling could be; A. No attacks on Gaza while Isreal only defends itself with the anti-rocket device they have. B. Few precise attacks while ensuring there is no casualty on the Palistinian side. C. Full attack just like Isreal is carrying out. Remember its just an opinion seeking question devoid of sentiments or any form of biasness. |
Caleboha: why will lives be lost during the strike when we have competent nurses, pharmacists, physiotherapists and cleaners manning the hospitals? doctors are not indispensible. sooner or later, everyone will realise the single member of a health team totally commited to a patient's survival. Can a doctor cope without the nurse! No. Nurses are also indispensible. There is a grave difference between the various health workers responsibility with most of the vital ones on the hands of the doctor. Let the doctor say he doesnt need them and lets see how he copes. Their profession is a noble one, they are not be seen as egoistic and only working for personal gains. Before anyone goes into medicine, one must have been driven by the desire to help humans in their health challenge. All this strikes have shown how every good thing from that profession is lost. Meanwhile, as the strike goes on they are all working in their private hospitals right now making alot of money. |
mex22: josMy neighbour used to keep these dogs exactly and their ears were cut too. He moved all of them when the caucasian gave birth to many puppies. The puppies had their ears cut at my presence. He used to take them to jos for breeding. Onyeka is his name in kafanchan. |
docbindl: Thank you. With 5k a month I will gladly pay for dstv.. but the best option is pay per view.We have like minds. Another option for pay per view is to split premium just like in compact plus. This could be compact plus sports for 90% sports or compact plus movies for all the movie channels. Everything combine for premium could be 7k, compact plus sports or movies 5k each, then may be pay per view 15 chosen channels for 3k and an improved d★tv access for 1.5k. |
Isnt it strange that we walk into a D*tv office to buy their system for a friend. He had the money but the nightmarw of spending that huge sum monthly scared him. We went out and what we saw opposite was a satellite equipment store. We walked in and there was several Qsat decoders lying around while one was just activated. I asked, arent you scared of doing this right opposite their office, he said, 'we have been sued and they are tired of arresting us, meanwhile we arw still in business and we will pay our lawyers from salea proceeds if it gets there'. My friend got the Qsat, 2months later, he tells me thank you, if it stops today i have not lost a kobo. 5k is a good amount for D*tv to end this madness, i hate it when i have visitors or when it gets really interesting and the thing freezes. |
