The PDP can not win Osun state with oyinlola. He is faced with myriads of problems with his antecedents.. The murder of Bola ige Insulting the Oni of ife His role in modakeke war Loyalty to obsanjo, buruji and jona can't afford a governor loyal to obj. Large scale corruption cases etc Omi buruku as named by modakeke peeps can't even win in his neighbouring town, modakeke and ilesha are anti-ife. Ede is under peter power. The iwos, ikirun etc are too fanatic to vote a christian, oshogbo is confused between development and religious bigotry. Hence the traditional guys are campaigning badly for aregbe. The okuku/oshogbo factor is also against him, that side is under oyinlola stronghold and oyinlola is not a fan of omisore.... Even within ife, a lot of resentment, the makinde murder is still lingering. But the truth is that omisore I'd the only choice pdp has, to compete with Aregbe. He has the connection, the thugs and enough money to order bags of rice. The simple politics is just to shift his loyalty from obj, that rests on the Senate leaders, my president can't tell us he doesn't hold secretive meeting with the Senate chairman of appropriation. The PDP should plan ahead as oyo state is really up for grabs too. Apc governors are too stingy, no money in circulation, no contracts, they are signed in lagos, they pursued market women and build ultra Morden stores. This women. Can't afford them. Na road, building, schools, hospitals we go chop, abi na shop rite... Abeg, bring back the pdp.. PDP...... share the money. That's the feeling on the street... And I feel PDP should tap into it after all in politics, All is fair... The. People are tired of projects, we need to share the money.... ![]() So much for political sophistication...
Most things you said are Osun politics which i have no business with. Those in bold means Nigeria is lost. SMH Anyway, thats the unfortunate thing about Nigeria. Its irrepairable. We just saw it played out in Ekiti. The military which some of us were hoping may come back to instil discipline in Nigerians have lost it themselves. All this because of lack of proper education since majority of Nigerians are either stark illitrates or half baked literates. Lets face it, there is no end to the darkness facing Nigeria. The only option i now see is a bloody civil war leading to a humanitarian crisis that will shake Nigeria to its roots. After so much destruction and loss of half of its population, we may or may not sit up. I weep only for my children and their children. |
If PDP can survive the G5 Governors, who is Oyinlola? What is Oyinlola scared of
Just saying, PDP may not know him until they lose Osun state governorship. There may be a reason they are running after him that you dont know.I dont think Oyinlola is the one scared but PDP. |
Wow. I get it now. The Oba is apolitical. He is so apolitical that he decided to make an official statement about his son switching parties so as not to offend his current paycheck. The current administration. It is absolutely not a political move. It is just important that the Oba makes it clear that he does not lean the same way his son leans. In fact he needed to express his shock and disappointment at his son's behavior for choosing to lean the other way. All this because he is apolitical. He is the version of apolitical that actually cares were others lean politically. Oba gha to kpe re.
So you actually went back to read. Your eyes saw but you couldnt grab meaning until i sent you back. You see what i have been telling you? You need to start reading from begining, this time slowly! Ba ka da ilimi ko kadan, uwa sama ni tu! |
Talking so much but saying nothing. Looking at the words and not reading them. Let's not even talk of comprehending what you are "looking at". You even read the definition and still insist that the Oba's words show he is apolitical. Child please. Take several seats. The Oba has political alliances and admitted as much by publicly expressing that he is not in support of his son's choice to switch parties. He did not need to address it.
1 law of comprehension is to use synonyms in rephrasing if you must but never your own words. The bolded part confirms what i have said, you lack comprehension. |
Do you know what apolitical means? If the Oba is apolitical he would not need to make a statement about his son switching parties. It just would not matter. So lets start with being honest. He obviously has political alliances. You are just all over the place with your argument. His allegiance has to be with the current political party running things in the state not just APC? Once again you have no clue what apolitical means. Please go away with this conferring with his father and getting his blessings. Why does a grown man need to get the blessing of his father before he makes a career move. This is why Nigeria is stagnant. This mindset. The prince can make an intelligent, grown ass man decision without seeking daddy's guidance. SMH.
apo·lit·i·cal\ˌā-pə-ˈli-ti-kəl\ adjective : not political : not interested or involved in politics Full Definition 1 : having no interest or involvement in political affairs; also : having an aversion to politics or political affairs 2 : having no political significance I am not from Edo, so am new and not interested in their politics. I read the Oba's statement and understood it from an unbiased view. His words mean what it is, to me. Unfortunately, so many commentators here (just like yourself), because of so much love for PDP, logical reasoning has eluded many leading to sentiments, misconceptions to outright denial of the obvious. Asking me if i know what apolitical means makes you look like a child. My use of the word was not flawed, one would immediately understand from my comment that i used the word in context. I dont know how else to tell you i know the word, i used the word correctly and in context but most probably you have an expression or the more serious comprehension problem. Please go back and read my comments, this time for comprehension. Clue: The Oba's statement was released to shut mischief makers like you who will use the son's political allegiance to cause disaffection between him and the government which is led my an opposition. It seems mischief makers never shut up for any reason. |
Frankiss44: pledged his support for the GovThis part of your statement makes it look wrong because thats what you may want to hear. The Oba said he supports the government of the day which happens to be under the Governor, Adams Oshiomhole. When another governor gets elected the Oba will still support him whether he is from APC, PDP, LP or any other person. Thats just simple english. The Omo N’Oba is solidly behind the state government ably led by Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole.” |
klodike: Pls gurus in the house is it possible to play music on Honda Accord 2005 using your phoneYou need an aux adopter like in the picture below. Its available on ebay.

Some comments here leaves me in awe. So many people cant even comprehend the post or just simply derive the message being passed in it. I am begining to think that good and proper education is the main problem of Nigeria even as some people call themselves educated. SMH! |
pro01: A shameless display of partisanship. It is infra dig for a highly revered Royal Father like the Oba of Benin to reduce himself to such blatant partiality. When did declaring support for the government of the day translates to support for a political actor. The political actor you imply happens to be the sitting governor! Isnt the Oba supposed to support whoever is the governor of the state? Please read and comprehend that line again! “It does not represent the position of the Omo N’Oba. The Omo N’Oba is solidly behind the state government ably led by Comrade Adams Aliyu Oshiomhole.”Which traditional ruler in Nigeria does not pledge allegiance to the government of the state? Do you know that the governor can depose the Oba or have his influence reduced or forfiet his support(mostly financial) from the government. The Oba's statement does not translate to support for APC like you think but for support of the government of the day led by Adams Oshiomole just like every traditional ruler must support whoever is the governor and the his government. |
Why does the Oba have to issue a statement. His son can switch parties if he wishes to. The Oba's decision to make a public statement makes it look like he does not support his son's decision. He can disagree but not throw his child under the bus. Anyway Oba gha to kpe re.
May be you have a comprehension problem or you didnt read the op at all. According to the statement, the Oba, who expressed shock that his son, Prince Osama Erediauwa, resigned his appointment as Executive Director in the Office of the Governor, said Erediauwa’s action did not represent his opinion as the Oba.That means his son took major a decision without consulting him as his father and an influential personality in the state. Dont forget, the Oba recieves his enumeration from the state so his allegiance must be to the government of the state not necessarily APC. The essence of this press release is to let the general public, especially mischief makers, know that the decision Prince Osama took to resign his appointment and join the PDP is entirely at his discretion. This one means exactly what it is. If he had not spoken out people will think the son conferred with his father and was given the blessings, hence, the Oba himself has declared support for PDP. No traditional ruler should be seen in this way. The son needs rebuke for compromising his father's position as an unbaised apolitical traditional ruler. |
I would never ever use any other method other than pay on delivery as long as am in Naija. I made an order on konga to be delivered to my Abuja office. I was buying 3 items but from 2 sellers. There was 2 shipping charges of N930 and N1,250 on two of the items individually. But after i added all items to cart the sub total N9,300 plus N930 giving me a total of N10,230. I was happy that i got off the second higher charge. 4 days later, the 1st item came, a Bosch engine oil filter worth N1,800 and paid N930. From my total i am to pay the exact price of the two items remaining, but to my surprise, they demanded for N1,250 for delivery making my unofficial total of N11,480 . They had to go away with their stuff. |

Obasanjo gave that contract. Btween 2009-2011 was when the real work was done. I supervised the 132kv transmission line u see around there. We did our blasting at the same time theirs was going on. I passed through the road on daily basis going to my sites while road users were prohibited. Thats not GEJ project. He only extented the contract to kagoro and samaru from manchok where its was initially supposed to stop. The part he gave is uncompleted and since abandoned. Infact the samaru part is unmotorable right now (i know cos the road leads to my wife's village). |
If i remember the hell my car went through on Okigwe-Umuahia road, Umuahia - Uyo road and the deplorable Uyo-Calabar. What about Uyo-Aba? This minister can lie o! These are just few i use often. I think this man is counting his chickens forgetting that the eggs are rotten. So those were the monies they spent on FERMA. Most of the roads that were made 'motorable' were pothole filling done by FERMA that i agree reduced travel time in some cases. That of Okigwe-umuahia had since become worst than before the rehabilitation. |
Henry praise: Dear Nlanders, a frnd of mine narrated a situation n asked 4 my help, tot I shud share it here. D situation cums up in 2 diff casesFirst of all, your friend is supposed to understand that for an adult who bedwets its extremely embarassing. So if she did, he should soft pedal on her and get her treatment while trying his best to avoid embarassing her. Secondly, the girl has her issues not for denying but for sleeping in his house knowing her condition. She is most certainly embarassing her self whenever she sleeps outside her own home. If she is grown, she should have known by now how to manage her problem. On your friends friend, he should just avoid the guy sleeping over. Overall, bedwetting has a stigma, no one should stimatize especially when you know the cause is not as a result of laziness, negligence or lack of self control. |
patriotic007: the reason i hate APC is that they are always on the offensive but quickly they blame abuja when they are hit by their own bulletHmmmm Offensive you said! Do you expect an APC state to allow a deputy speaker who led thugs to destroy the assembly complex while clearly working for the opposition, PDP? Can that action be tolerated in a PDP state? In a family, where the youngest son has their father's blessings behaves in a manner like he has the birthright over his eldest brother. That is a recipe for disaster and that was what happened to the family of Jacob in the bible leading to their selling of their brother into slavery. That is an analogy of what is happening in APC states. Abuja gets blame. In Rivers, 5 PDP members started the fracas, in Edo 4 PDP members did and you still called APC offensive. You should have said defensive. |

gratiaeo: My question is what is the governor of that state doing? This animal is the one behind all this kidnap. That is the problem with some of you. Have you forgotten there is a state of emergency in effect in the state. The state of emergency has removed the status of Chief security officer of the state governor and given to the president. So the GEJ is who you should be asking what he is doing. The governor has been merely an administrative head with no relevance in security matters. The committee GEJ set up had reported 219 were actually kidnapped. GEJ accepted the report and has even spoken in that line of thought. What are you now saying? Do you know better than the committee, the military, SSS, Police all put together? SMH! |
agohmamuda: dont worry we*re doing every tin posible to correct dis problem. Every tin will b restored after 24hrs.I hope it does come back, else 4 years set back isnt funny. |
Car talk has opened my eyes to car care/maintenance. All is gone, how will others get to know what i read here? I have been wondering, are we going to trash out all previous issues all over again especially when someone new asks? We cant refer them to those threads again. Will Siena start his Toyota hilux project all over again? Or would he simply continue from where he stopped to the bewilderment of people who will join the thread now? Ikenna can refer to the Lions thread like he used to but most of it is gone. Cartalk certainly has lost more than all other sections. |
Yesterday, i called my wife late hours as am away from home. She was bitter and angry. Our children had fellen sick since the previous day, but i didnt call through out yesterday till late hours to find out how they were faring. My apologies fell on deaf ears. She called me uncaring, irresponsible father and a wicked man. Our president deserves more and even in greater measures than the rebuke i got. I admited wrong doing, our president still does not accept the fact that his people want to hear him sympathize with them, not through his handlers. He has failed, so he is uncaring, irresponsible, a wicked man and many more i would not be the one to call. |
Happy new year. I recently got a 2003 Accord. The woman i got it from didn't have the radio code. The car is with the painters which i had to warn them not to remove my battery. Eventually, battery must be removed, i need the code for safe keep. I tried pressing and holding 1 and 6 then power on but it gives me something else (D1AC) which i cant decipher. I have tried severally. but gives same thing. |
Piyke: Fixing the whine you describe may actually be a more simple procedure than this. First are you using the recommended PS fluid for your Prado? Also does the PS fluid in the PS reservoir foam? If it does, that would mean air is entering the system through somewhere. I recommend you Google the problem, search through Toyota fora to see what the most likely cause is. I once had a whine some years back which took less than 5 mins to fix. Good luck. The PS was never changed from factory as far as my knowledge recalls. No prior work was done on the PS system before the whining began. No foaming. It just started whining and steering became stiffer with time. Early mornings the whine is there but steering will be soft till the engine temp reaches operating temp then starts misbehaving. For the eod, i was thinking that the difference in tyre size is to compensate for each other. the 16inch is 205/60/16 while the 15inch is 205/65/15. The 65 and 60 should compensate |
How i wish this procedure will apply for my Toyota prado 2006. The whining sound is unbearable at the moment and the steering fails most times during idle and driving with very low RPM (less than 1000rpm). I feel the pump is also causing the steering rack some problems as i notice leakage of the oil around the ball joints of the steering arm. The leakage is not alarming but the oil has suddenly turn almost black. I would have loved to fix the pump to start working again instead of buying a new one. Also, i wish to know the effect of using a different tyre specification other the recommended by the car manufacturer. I have a Honda accord 2003 LX with tyre recommendation of 205/65/15. I wish to purchase the factory alloy of 2003-5 Honda which is a 16inch with probable tyre size of 205/60/16. |
With alloys or not? 800k very serious. Deal can be made today in some few hours. Dont forget its a year old and lx trim. i may put something on top if its alloys with good tyres. |
Pix pls. Does it have third row seat? |
This is absolute bullshyt! 1Gigabyte is 1Gigabyte whether on Blackberry, Android, iPhone, Nokia, Computer or any other Internet device. Any compressed data does not give out the same quality or data size. If i want to download a video file from an Internet link, the data size will remain the same irrespective of the device i use or the browser. The only compression required is when viewing pictures and web pages. For pictures, the quality greatly reduces with compression. Some web pages do not support compression as the page with never be normal or refuse to open once it is compressed. On compressing a web page text remains the same, icons will be changed, pictures compressed, background designs removed etc. At the end, compression reduces the speed with which a page is opened, though depending on the internet speed. They should just harmonize the data subscription abeg! |
Upload the interior pix and of the second one please? |
I called you this morning, what is the status of this ones? and how much? Can you send better pics to adanny01@yahoo.com |
Its a HONDA spelt differently. Most parts is same with the one with Honda written on it. Acura TSX is same with Honda Accord Europe Luxury class. This car is suitable for the game called 'spot the difference'.

big deal 007: My gear does not go beyond gear3 and I notice the drive light sign (D) starts blinking after few kilometres. Pls any help? You have to press the safety button on the shifter to go beyond 3 to 2 and 1 |
kaykad: DONE THAT SIR, PLEASE WILL THE LIGHT COME BACK ON OR WHAT CAN I DO TO BRING THE LIGHT ONIn my experience, there are only two reasons the D4 light will not show. 1.The illuminating bulb of D4 is dead but is highly unlikely as it hardly happens unless it has been tampered with. 2. The gear selector cable is faulty and may have selected the gear in the gear box but has not triggered the D4 light to show. I have experienced this. When mine happened, i had to move the selector just a little out of its D4 position before it will illuminate. Slowly move the selector from P through D4 to D1 and see if at any point the D4 illuminates. As long as the gear engages, move and changes all gears fine then your gear may not necessarily be failing. Note that even after your gear box has failed, all the lights will show but the car will not move. |
