I just wondered if this your friend didn't inspect the house before moving in.
He paid through the agent after seeing the house. He told the agent he wanted a WC inside and would install since he was a builder. It was when he brought the WC and pipes to install that the landlord declared war.

hairyman:
Does anyone know if a Camry 2000 4 cyclinders' tranny is also linked to the differential? This question is specifically to determine if the differential fluid needs to be changed separately or should a transmission fluid replacement serve for both?

Cc radautowork
Every vehicle that drives on at least 2 wheels using one power source needs to have a differential. This is because the two wheels do not travel at exactly the same speed all the time. For example, when the car is turning. In this case the tire that is at the turning side travels slower than the tire that is farther to the turning side. Forcing both drive wheels to move at the same speed in this scenario will put a lot of stress on the gear box, hence the need for a differential.

The differential essentially separates one power source into two.

It is an integral part of a front wheel drive transmission gear box. So yes, your Camry has a differential but its inside the gear box.

Cars with an auxiliary gear essentially have a differential locking mechanism. But these cars come with a warning to not keep driving with the lock which could damage the transmission.

Cars you should be looking at
Corolla
Camry
CRV
Rav 4
C class
Civic
Accord

Remember, if you are good in maintenance, you should be looking at 3-5 years before replacement. So a 2010 car in 2025 is too obsolete but a 2015 car will still be ok.

He is totally and completely unaware and far away from events happening in the country and I cant help but wonder if all he does is sleep 24/7 in his bedroom. Just imagine, when EVERYONE including my 3year old niece knew the term "covid 19" as it was on everyone's lips and an household name, yet the supposed President didn't know what it was called, referring to it as "covik one-nine". undecided huh
Goes to show how far removed he is from the society, yet he is supposed to be in charge of Nigerians. Kai! embarassed embarassed
You think he is not aware or far removed from happenings, I want to categorically tell you he is very much aware. However, I believe he made a deliberate choice to be salient not that I support it but I understand why.

With the current politically motivated waves of propagandas, the gullibility of many Nigerians and the kind of hatred for Buhari and anything Hausa or Fulani by PDP and the followers, the less he say the better for him. Even the Lekki speech became absolutely necessary before he did it. People like me knew that there is nothing Buhari will say the he will not be criticised for. His handlers know it and have chosen the silent treatment.

Freedom of speech has been taken too far and the educational rot of our education system is showing glaringly leaving so many Nigerians without critical comprehension.

I understand with Buhari in keeping the silence and I pray Nigerians will understand and cut the bullshit conspiracy theories and the deliberate lies pitting the government against its people. Yes the standard of living is far worst, the government made difficult choices, i do believe that economist did understand and tried to explain to Nigerians but no, we were not having it. We knew we needed to brace up for the difficult time well ahead, but the lack of comprehension is still putting us in denial.

Next government will still experience the same issues. This post itself will attract insults, that's the new Nigeria

Now with all the evidences so far, there was shooting at Lekki. Two persons died and that was unfortunate. Somebody must be held responsible for the loss. Why is the opposition blowing this out of proportion to burn Lagos? Lives were lost in Ibadan including police officers. Lives were lost in other places. Why are we not talking about those? Are those people not Nigerians?
We all want justice for Lekki victims but no one is talking about justice for other people killed by thugs or police officers across Nigeria. Is that justice? Some people are playing prank with people's intelligence here.
It is appalling to see how politics has turned the minds and conscience of many Nigerians.

The Lekki shooting with real victims has turned out to be propaganda tool.

I can't support the soldiers in their actions but worst is calling what happened a massacre without such things that defines it.

The person who started this propaganda that led to loss of lives, properties, livelihood and even government properties all over the country has done worst than the person who ordered the shooting in the first place.

Its more like the kettle calling the pot black.

May God have pity on Nigerians since the country Nigeria is not the problem, we are.

Just imagine,, hundreds of people gathered to protest, bullets went up in their air, massacre happened, many protesters died on the spot, no blood even though it was a massacre, no evidence of death since days ago until this very second, not proof of deaths or masacre.

First they tried to fool us with fake news and photos of dead people, but the supposedly dead people resurrected, they denied being dead and many were not even anywhere near Lekki or toll gate, then they ported to other lies like oh, the military took away the body, then that one called DJ something something said 78 people died, then she switched to 15 people died, but no proof, then she said her and other people took the bodies to the military men, still no proof.
The particular person in the interview of this thread claims to have been shot in the chest and i was expecting the store of how the bullet was removed from his lungs, heart something but nothing.

How do we know he was actually shot?

He said a person in front of him dropped dead, what if the person fainted out of fear?

The sharing of unconfirmed stories is doing Nigeria and Nigerians more harm than good.

“I was taken to the theatre so that they could bring the blood that is in my chest out, and that is what is passing through this pipe.

Over-sabi is truly a sickness. This video was posted on this same frigging page, about a major life-threatening injury inflicted by a stray bullet fired into the sky hundreds of yards distant from the victim, yet Professor Bigi Gramma here, is still pontificating about "slight bruises".

Here is is again, in case you are partially blind.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Tv-_HwUu-_U

Closer to home, I happen to have known late Mr. Klaus Eweret, a German geologist who for over 28 years, resided in Nigeria. Klaus was sleeping in his Ikeja home one night a few years ago, when BOOM, an AK47 round fired into the air so far away that the gunshot could not even be heard, pierced through the roof of Klaus's home, and buried itself DEEP inside his buttocks, causing him to bleed profusely, and calling for a late night visit to the emergency ward, where his life was saved after extensive surgery.

If such an injury from a falling stray bullet is what you would call a "slight bruise" then death itself, must be to you, a minor illness.
Who dey do over sabi? You or me?

Point exactly to where you quoted me saying the statement "slight bruise". If you can't, you are a liar.

One thing is for sure, such bullet will cause a serious bruise, or skin tear but less likely fatal even though it has been established that it has and could be lethal but the chances are slim.
Can you read at all? Do you not know what lethal is? Did the man in your video die?

Go back to primary school where you came from.

What we are discussing here is clearly beyond your reasoning or comprehension. I am sure you got confused reading my comment, it wasn't meant for kids.

What was the scanned code?

The code determines what is wrong. There are 3 categories, stuck on/off, oil switch and solenoid.

I get the stuck on or off anytime I wash my engine. The solution i found recently is to gently tap the sensor while engine is running.

I have changed a leaking vtec oil switch before, got the switch 1.5k and still using.

The solenoid hardly fails unless there is a wiring issue. It is changeable.

I have also changed the strainer/seal, the sensor likes leaking with a bad strainer seal.

WAECMATHEMATICS:
Check this:
Ok

Now, terminal velocity is the point where the force (gravity) acting on the bullet equals the force opposing it (air drag).

We are not the first to start this argument. We also have too many variables to do a simple math so lets adopt what has been done by professionals.

It has been established that the terminal velocity of a bullet is about 90m/s or more. Thats over 200mph

AK-47 muzzle velocity is upwards of 700m/s.

You can see the difference. The question is, is 90m/s lethal enough to penetrate a human skin. This question boils down to shape and size of the bullet. A pointed tip bullet should do more damage than a rounded tip. So the type of bullet is an important factor.

Also, it has been established that a bullet during a free fall does not turn towards its pointed side. It most likely lies with the side that gives it the lowers center of gravity which is usually its side. This creates more air drag and also reduces its penetration power if it hits a human.

One thing is for sure, such bullet will cause a serious bruise, or skin tear but less likely fatal even though it has been established that it has and could be lethal but the chances are slim.

If u watch the video, the soldier were not holding the gun at 90 degrees.

Bullet move in projectile direction unless in 90 degrees. Anything lower or higher than 90 degrees may likely kill someone.
You are seriously confused and probably failed maths and physics if at all you did it.

You referred me to your previous post and you have been sharing the very thing that goes against what you have said up here.

But a bullet that's fired straight up would only hit you with that same speed when it came back down if you were in a world without an atmosphere
The bolded means if the world has no air. But we have air, so the bullet cannot possibly be close to the velocity it left the gun.

Secondly, if you knew maths and trigonometry, you should know that when the bullet was shot at an angle 20degrees to 90(which the soldiers did), the likelihood of that bullet meeting someone will be at a distance of 5km or more depending on the gun.

Practically, if the soldier held the gun at a height of 1m above ground and shot at 45degrees, tan 45=1. So for every 1m the bullet travels horizontally, it also travels 1m vertically.

If the protester stood at 1m in front for the gun the protester has to be over 2m tall to catch bullet. By the time the bullet travels a distance of 5km horizontally the bullet would have been 5km vertically.

There no way anyone within 2km of Lekki toll gate will catch the bullet with its initial velocity.

Now, don't start about the projectile path because the bullet left the gun with a very high velocity far higher than gravity. A that point, gravity has nothing on the bullet until air drag reduce the velocity such that gravity will start to act by bending the trajectory into a parabolic path. Its more like the reason a plane defies gravity and flies.

So when a bullet leaves a gun, depending on the gun, for atleast 500m the bullet will be in a straight path. Before it starts the parabolic flight due to gravity.

Remember an AK-47 has a muzzle velocity of over 700m/s while gravity that returns the bullet to earth is less than 10m/s.

U are very wrong, they still have enough momentum to kill, especially AK-47 and other military grade weapons.
You are wrong.

A bullet shot does not travel indefinitely. Air will resist its movement. Gravity wants it to fall down. A bullet shot at 45 degrees will either meet an object or travel at the same 45 degree until the momentum it has drops to that which gravity will start to pull it down. From the moment gravity starts acting the line of travel bend towards the center of the earth. At that moment, the momentum it has cannot penetrate human skin.

Myth busters did an episode on it. Study physics, you will understand.

A bullet shot at 90degrees will be more dangerous. You will never see a trained gun handler shooting vertically in the air. The bullet will stall when it lost all momentum, gravity will return it to earth at a speed higher than a 45degree bullet. It may still not penetrate but will certainly hurt more.

We see military personnel everyday shooting bullets in the air in a bid to either scare away civilians or announce their arrival to restore sanity to an already deteriorating event, either way, most people get to wonder where the bullets that are shot straight up into the air goes to and if by any chance they can cause any form of damage or injury.
They move in a projectile profile untill.they lose momentum and gravity takes over. They drop like the way you throw a stone in the air. In fact, a stone thrown vertically upwards will hurt more than a bullet with no momentum.

It could cause pain but not enough to kill.

What kills is the momentum the bullet has. Its like a lion with no teeth or claws.
