It can never be lawful for such a server to be used as official results by INEC let alone be admissible in court. The only official results the law permits are the result sheets stated in the INEC guidelines.

You should complain more for the fact that Nigerian network providers rely up to 90% on generators in this time and age.

Your friend's story is a sad one. His mum didn't help in his psychological development as she made him detached from reality and it really affected him. He could have persisted if only he knew. Seems you guys had a poor foundation of maths. The further maths textbook used in secondary school is just parking all the knowledge like sardines. It's wururu to the answer and doesn't give you a deep understanding of the concepts. Besides, they are not the standard of A level neither do they make it easy for you to follow up A level maths.

Hope you are now good in maths? I can recommend good textbooks. Hope you are treating your friend nicely? Lift him up and don't abandon him. His mum, unwillingly, let him down.
K. A. Stroud Engineering Maths saved me, from F to A's. It became my bible.

Maths was my best subject in sec sch but i never did anything further maths. The problem is that we got admitted on second list which came around mid semester. The first lecture I attended, that was the day integration was started. That meant the course was already half way through. Before i could get notes to copy, familiarize with classmates, it was CA test. Thereafter was exams. We were just doomed to fail.

Running any air conditioning that involves driving a compressor off of the crankshaft absolutely decreases MPG. Fact.

This is why aftermarket has gone in search of battery powered water pump and cycling alternators.

Sure, you can dance with rolling windows down or up and freeway out city driving but ultimately AC decreases MPG.

This is not directed at the OP as he will believe what he wants but my post is directed to someone with an open mind that really wants to learn.
We are all learning day by day. The op should see it as an opportunity to have the issue discussed in detail bringing more knowledge to the thread. We all benefit one way or another.

However, we all agree that AC is an extra accessory and will take out some power off the engine leading to a little more fuel consumption. The message is that if you travel at 120km/h with windows down, you experience drag that you will not see but it exist. That drag if hypothetically consumes 5hp from your engine, you will still maintain the same fuel efficiency if you close the window and put AC which by the same hypothetical measure consumes 5hp from the engine. It is just give and take but ultimately, the engine power will be taken one way or another which should result in more fuel.

The only issue is that we cannot proof that the drag of open window no ac is equal to closed window with ac. The only thing we know for certain is that the relationship exist.

Personally, if i am traveling light on highway, my experience with my car is that AC or no AC i use the same fuel. I have tried it countless times and it works but that is not true for city driving. AC will definitely lead to decrease in mpg.

Let me add by saying, a lot of Nigerians driving on highway with perfect ac system but are too fuel conscious to be in the comfort of the AC. This is a good attempt to let them understand that even if there is going to be more consumption, it wont be more than a litre or 2 (N150-300) for most short journeys or 200-300km.

Let me make some clarification to your statement about the relationship between the fan blower speed and the compressor turn on time .
1. For the AC design you are referring to , The AC control module uses the input evaporator temperature sensor signal to determine the cut -off time of the compressor .The cut off time of compressor is not based on certain arbitrary time as you assume but based on set evaporator temperature .That is when the blower fan is increased to higher level ,the AC module will set the evaporator temperature that the compressor will cut off lower and vice versa .
2.The FDC compressor working as opposed to the VDC is 100% that it is putting all it %100 full capacity to the pumping of refrigerant.Hence some infrequent cut off it experiences when the evaporator set temperature is reached occurs for few seconds and will not be significant enough to use that as saving fuel grace as u assume .
This is why manufacturer came up with design of the VDC compressor to give a better mileage as the pumping capacity of the compressor can be varying from %1-%100 based on alot of set algorithms which is based my user "needs" instead of the ancient old FDC technology that can never reduce it working capacity other than cut off for few seconds which doesn't make any significant contribution to fuel mileage.
3. Then finally talking about the message the op is trying to pass across ,check the topic of this thread ,I feel he should edit it to pass clearer message across cos the subject of the topic is misleading and erroneous .
Better topic should have read like this " You save more fuel when you wind down your window "
The essence of the experiment is actually on the effect of air drag on fuel ,the use of ac is just a control aspect of the experiment not the subject .
Well said.

Thats why i said hypothetically. I also agree that the fuel saved by cutting off the compressor for small time is insignificant and will not in the overall appear as fuel saved.

2014, I got admitted to study Medical Lab Science with connections from the provost of Federal Med lab school and many well known lecturers in the university even though my waec and jamb were excellent (2 As, 5 B3, 1 C4 and a score of 246 in Jamb).

I don't even know who or what was directly involved. . But when I started, I was very unmotivated. I really can't tell why. Maybe wrong associations, maybe cos it wasn't medicine, I don't know.

After the first semester of 100 level, I left the university. One of the lecturers who aided my admission begged me to rescind my decision or at least to defer it. In her exact words, 'I'd regret my decision'. Still I left without deferring.

My widowed mum was terribly heart broken. I was hers and my late dad's pride. I was the most intelligent of her three kids. I remember telling her that 'School na scam, if I do business, I go make am quicker'. She always told me and my siblings that we weren't cut out for business life. Still I ventured into photography. Spent 6 months in training to become a pro photographer. In 2015, I bought my own Nikon D3200 camera and a second hand hp laptop. I started meager jobs. I was earning small cash here and there. To be a top photographer tho, I needed equipments; a good Speedlite, good zoom and prime lenses, not my ordinary 18-55mm kit lens, soft boxes, and so on. And these would cost money. Money I didn't have. My camera and laptop were the only thing I could afford then.

Few months later, I started regreting my decision of leaving school. I would see my former coursemates in town and they'd ask questions on why I left, but I really couldn't provide any tangible reason for leaving. One even showed me some of my first semester grades and I was almost in tears 'cause I did very well. I was almost getting depressed late 2015. 2016 came and it started just as dull. But just before the closing date for Jamb registration was due, I bought a form. Same course (Medical Laboratory Science), same university. This time around, I would do everything low key without asking for anyone's assistance. I wrote jamb and got a score of 259. I checked on jamb portal when admission status began to be checked and lo and behold, I was admitted. I called my mom and even though she was happy for me, she told me, she wasn't gonna sponsor my admission this time. I was heartbroken but I can't blame her to be very honest. But then, we started hearing news that our admission would be cancelled because of accreditation issues. In fact, our names weren't included in the school's admission portal. School started and still, no news. But I was convinced God was giving me a second chance, so I started attending lectures even though we didn't know our fate. Two weeks before exams, our accreditation issues were resolved and our names finally appeared on the school's portal. Medical lab sci, biochem, and slt had this problem. So two weeks was added for us to receive short additional lectures, while others were writing exams. That was how my second chance began.

I'm presently in 300 level. Today, my former coursemates would be inducted as MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTISTS. I couldn't sleep at all. I would not go to the induction as I may not be able to control the tears. I SHOULD HAVE BEEN AMONG THE INDUCTING STUDENTS, BUT I THREW IT ALL AWAY. The most painful words anyone can utter in life are, "HAD I KNOWN". Don't make costly mistakes that would make you say these words!!!
A friend of mine did almost the same thing to himself.

We go admitted to Civil Engineering, we both came 2nd list and it was far into the semester. We never did further maths but the first thing i saw in a lecture was integration. I had a further maths text book given to me as the best maths student in my o levels. It didn't help us much. That 1st semester i had 5 carry overs and my friend had 3. He had a better gpa.

The problem was he was a local champion. His mother prides herself that her son is the most intelligent of all neighborhood boys. That got to his head, he told himself that 3 carry overs and under 2.0 gpa was beneath him. There was no talking to this guy, he dropped out and went back home saying he will rewrite jamb and return next year.

I was also considering leaving especially that my second choice admitted me for electrical engineering. I couldn't ask my parents for fresh fees, besides, that part of physics wasnt my strong area. I knew civil was my calling and will not do well with Electrical. I started working to increase my cgpa. From then, it was steady rising.

My friend didn't get admission until 4 yrs later, he got physics. I was at 500l civil engineering when he came as 100l physics. Now, what he has is inferiority complex whenever we see.

@Op You got the essence of the experiment wrong and I think you will need to edit the topic of this thread not to mislead the general public.
The essence of this experiment is to show that a car that has its window open even without ac on when speeding at higher speed around 100 km/hr will consume more fuel than another car that it window is closed even with the AC kept on .
What they actually want to prove is that dragging force that enter a car when the windows are opened is very substantial and even greater than when you close the window even with ac load when traveling at high speed .
To set the record straight ,Any load on the car whatsoever eg ac compressor and basic accessories like lights ,power steering ,wiper etc when turn on will increase the fuel consumption of car and the consumption will depend on the current the load is consuming .
So traveling at high speed with ac will always consume more fuel than when ac is not on so far the windows are close for both instance .
Lot of technology breakthrough has been introduced to reduce ac load by introduction of VDC compressor and dedicated ac module just to reduce the load of ac compressor but it impossible to achieve zero load with ac cos of law of conservation of energy.
Finally , let me add to this piece by stating that reducing the temperature of ac and blower fan speed just to save fuel will only be effective when dealing with the VDC type ( automatic ) of compressor system but is not significant when u are dealing with the FDC compressor (manual compressor )
The fan blower level has control over the compressor ON time. For example (hypothetically), if fan is put at level 1, when compressor clutch engages for 30 secs it goes OFF for 10secs and continue to toggle at the same rate. But when you increase blower level to 2 it also increases the clutch engaged time say 40secs ON and 10secs OFF. At level 3 you get say 60 secs ON and 10 secs OFF then at final level you get say 90secs ON and 10 secs OFF. Some cars come with MAX AC button, this is the bypass button to the clutch and keeps the AC clutch engage full time unless there is too pressure in the system then the pressure switch stops the ac system completely till normal pressure is achieved. In that case, most ac ON lights will blink to show system problem.

Therefore, the fan lower level will also determine fuel consumption since it controls how long the ac clutch remains engaged.

Lastly, i think the message op is trying to pass is that driving at high speed using ac which means winding up will balance out or even be more economical to air drag when you drive without ac and your windows down in terms of fuel consumption. I have compared this severally and it works. You will use roughly the same fuel in the 2 instances.

Based on personal experience AC dey consume fuel. Meanwhile that drag according to another study only makes ac a better option while driving over speeds of 40mph on lesser speeds, SC consumes more fuel than said drag effect
You are seriously underestimating air drag. F1 cars dont look the way they do for fun. Put the same engine in a saloon and an SUV, even if both have the same power to weight ratio, the SUV will consume more fuel due to aero-dynamic drag.

I have noticed I use same fuel on highway with ac or not. It is city driving with ac that consumes fuel and thats when air drag is minimum and friction higher.

Whereas on modern cars as you mentioned the first thing the ECM will shut down when there is a problem is the AC due to the additional load of driving the compressor. If what you are saying is right, then what is the reason for the load shedding?
Additional, I don't think it is possible for two people to drive alike and even for the same person to repeat the same scenario twice. Take another look at it.
Are you sure of that? The only link i know is increasing or decreasing RPM due to the AC load but not shut down.

I quite agree that highway driving with ac especially at high speed will save you some fuel but at slow speed such as city driving, you will use more fuel.

Even if they did that, it is not recognizable by law and inadmissible in any court of law as the electronic voting and transmission of result is expressly prohibited by the electoral law.

Why do the collation officers travel to physically present the results. Why didn't they just send it by email, that because it is illegal to do that. They only recognize means of recording and transmission of results is the result sheet.

The part that failed is not part of either bridge and is definitely not concrete. So it cant be part of the bridge failing.

1. Why did 37 professors that served as returning officers travelled to Abuja to read out results of all political parties as long as the list was?

2. We're the results read on national TV signed by all party agents at ward levels and polling centres where elections were held?

3. Did people vote manually using their fingers on a paper and the papers were manually dropped in a ballot box?

4. Apart from using the machine for accreditation, did any Nigerian vote using machine or they used a hard copy paper?

5. Let's assume there's a server that records the accreditation and PVC that were used before voting, did any of the PVC show the political parties that the holder of the PVC voted for?

6. There was a server and the server showed number of PVC that were screened. Did the server also show who was voted for by the owner of the PVC?

I think people should learn how to reason with common sense.

If I'm a judge, I'll dismiss Atiku and PDP's case for waste of time
Besides, the only legal way to transmit election results according to our electoral law is the official result sheet.

So even if the server exist and the results is there, the court cannot admit such evidence since its against the electoral law.

Good afternoon everyone ........

I posted a thread in may about my fiancée I helped with 100k to start a business and she couldn't produce the capital saying she lend her dad... just want give an update of things

I took majority of the people advise here and celebrate her birthday ....got her cake, wrist watch and celebrated it with my friends and hers at a lounge(paid all the bills).

So the following week I gave in to her pleading and sent her another 50k(she hasn't produce the previous 100k capital but still promised to produce it with time) to get new set of slippers to sell .....and the agreement was she will be sending the money to one of my accounts as she is selling and the capital will be there to reinvest.

This new week I asked why I haven't seen any money in the account.....she said she have sold but she wants some people to balance her to complete 20k and by Friday she will make d deposit.

On Friday I didn't see anything....asked her why didn't she send the money (dat was after bank closing hour)....she was like she wasn't feeling too well dat she told her friend to do the transfer but is not going and she has given her the cash ...... around past 9pm dat Friday she called me if I have seen the alert I said no......the next day she said the transfer wasn't going dat her friend tried it but it was failing so I felt pissed and told her straight she was lying (arguement broke out).

So I told her if she was telling the truth and have the cash with her I will come pick d cash myself today but to my surprise she has blocked me on whatapp and bar my number D's noon.

My friends here want us to go over to her place ..... cause a scene and get her arrested but I don't want to embarrass her parents or embarrass myself.
They are all on my neck rite now like dey ginger badly

...... honestly I don't no what to do.
Just want to know if the right thing is getting her arrested or just let go and move on.
Hmmm, i saw red flags before you gave her 50k.

Guy, next time, try to keep business and love affairs at arms length of each other.

If i had the opportunity to, i would have advised you not to give her any money.

When my mum ask to borrow 100k from me, i decide how much i have to give her free of charge. That is what she will get. That should have been your approach. When you do something for your fiancee, consider it a freewill gift.

Am sure you are above that 150k, please dont embarrass yourself further. Consider it the Lord's doing for your own good. You will never know, God used the 150k to protect your life after you guys would have been married.

Why the hell did you come here to call him all the names? Who is confrontational, immature and proud? It is definitely not him!

Adanny01 just wan add salt on top wound wey dey heal.
Honestly the mans response is so biased and it's beginning to piss me.
I wonder why he has chosen to drink Panadol for another man's headache.
Tueh.
Come oh, my point in summary is; stop the name calling and go settle amicably.

Is the op against resolving the issue and just wants a pound of flesh?

I had to ask, what exactly does he want? Pound of flesh? Correct doors? Has he asked the seller to right the wrong? Are the doors installed already? What exactly is going on here?

Who has more questions to answer?

Oga you self pipe down na.
You defence and stance is annoying.
Allow the issue die as the buyer as suggested.
No be you buy market, no be you supply market, yet you still dey add salt on injury.
Haba!!!
I am sure if my stance was biased for the buyer, this comment of yours wont suffice. If no be me buy or sell market, which be your own? Abi you own the market? Is the market on Nairaland, why is the matter here?

Remove the name calling until he cant prove it but no, he wants the name calling to stick without fully exploring conflict resolution. Its wrong and i strongly stand against wrong doings.

The seller is not happy with my comments, the buyer is not happy with my comments too, whose side do you think i am?

You have assumed the position of the seller defence lawyer.
I dont need to convince you.
Your lost my trust the moment you expressed bias and display poor emotional intelligence as a mediator.
Go master the rule of thumb of mediation.
It is interesting to see you jump to conclusion with limited information.
I have worked with better lawyers.
Bros, from your 1st post on the matter, the was very few details, i aked for details. Your reply wasn't detailed and i asked again, but even yet, your details were still economical.

In court, if you dont give details of your case, you will lose not because you are not right but because you are not for coming with details.

When a girl is raped, if she decides not to tell anyone, how will she get justice?

When I see jungle justice, do you expect me to pour petrol and light fire without being sure of what he is accused of. You accuse me of bias because what exactly you expect me to be is to be bias on your own side which i wont. You either state the facts or stop calling someone a fraud or criminal.

The goods he supplied you is worth the amount on your invoice until you reject them. Did you reject? If not, why call him a fraud? If yes, then the ball is in his court and i would not.face you, would then face him.
