Mirror mirror on the wall. Which of those men are you ?? grin grin grin

Nature made women all about status so that she can put encouragement and fire under a man so he can fulfill his fullest potential. That is what a mother does, that is what a wife does, that is what a daughter does. A man should look at the women in his life and want to give them the world. Once most men have a daughter they go mad at work - to bring her money, protection, status and pride.

Most Yang/men understand this and that is why when they buy thier wife a car they tell instablog9ja because they are proud of it
but
if a woman buys her husband a car she will use her last breath to lie that she did not - she is ashamed she is with a low par man.

The Queen's husband is not a king he is a prince like her sons
but
The king's wife is a queen and no one else but other queens have that status.

Decide as men today if you are a king or a prince. If your wife gives you money, status, protection you are her son - that is the job of a mother.
I will protect my son with everything I have but I will not do same for my husband - My husband does not expect me to. He expects me to show the world he is a successful man through my beauty, articulation, the way the children look and behave and through my total demeanor.

I am not his protector or provider I am his babe. Ogbeke no 1 of his house just like his Range Rover I make him shine - his 50/50 friends envy him because thier wives are aging fast through stress. They want a woman like me but cannot afford her because they are lazy.

Again which of those men are you huh?
I want and have a woman who's got brains. I want to be proud of her for her intellect not her boobs, backside, fashion sense or makeup skill. She should know my needs, my prayers and back me up accordingly. If i till the farm, i expect her to plant seeds after me not say hire a planting machine. When i say "honey am home", i expect her to say how was your day not how much did you bring. When i say honey, i lost my entire investment in that business deal, i expect her to say, "babe, cheer up, we'll (not you'll) get back on our feet, meanwhile here is something i saved from all the money you've been giving me". These are signs of a good and virtuous woman, a helper, a companion. Gen 2:18 For it is not good for a man to be alone, I will make him a helper who is right for him.

I have a daughter which I prayed to God to give me. My responsibility to my daughter is not to buy her a house or a car or give status or any of the sort that makes you feel proud. It is to train her physically, morally and in every other way that would make her an important person (not only to marry an important man) in her own home and the society.

I'll provide food, shelter and clothing for as long as possible. I will pay her school fees for as far as she can go and as far as i can afford to. I will even buy her a car and house if i can and build an entire multi billion Naira company for her if i can afford it. Above all, i wish she can do all the things i wish to give her by herself. I will train her to be independent, with or without a man to succeed.

When she gets married, i want her put her head together with her husband to do the same thing I did for her and her siblings. I expect her to support her siblings in their difficult moments.

Now, I dont understand why you are focussed on a man to be your saviour in this time and age when women seek equal rights with men? Is it that you dropped out of school or your parents were so poor that you promised to find a man to get you out of poverty? Maybe you were raised without a father by a mother who did all to give you the little you have. She probably unintentionally set a bad example for you due to her struggles. You seem to be obsessed with the idea of a rich mans wife who owns a Range Rover.

When you first posted the pictures of diapers, formula and children clothing, i thought you meant well with a higher standard. I didn't know that gold digging was the idea behind the diapers, formula et al.

Maybe gold digging is even above you, who knows, you might even be a little olosho hoping to up your status to a professional gold digger. How much is your price? I've never done olosho's but i have friends who might be interested IF you smell and look right. Call me 08181811140, you will not regret the clients.

Oh, consider me your P.I.M.P!

PDP should ask to inspect Accreditation server. Am sure they will be given access.

paxonel:
After several weeks of accusation, counter accusation, as well as denial, a recently leaked memo of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) has revealed that the commission transmitted voter accreditation data during the 2019 presidential elections from Smart Card Readers (SCR) to a central server, as claimed by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The leaked memo, dated March 25, 2019, was signed by the Secretary to the Commission, Mrs. Rose Oriaran-Anthony, and posted on Twitter on Wednesday by a former aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri.
The electoral body had on February 27, 2019 declared President Muhammadu Buhari of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner of the presidential election.
Despite the claim by the commission that Buhari mustered a total of 15,191,847 votes to defeat the presidential candidate of the PDP, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, who scored 11,262,978 votes, the opposition party and his candidate headed to court to challenge his victory.
The former vice president and the PDP told the Presidential Election Tribunal sitting in Abuja that he rejected the results citing irregularities, while also claiming that data from the server of INEC revealed that his votes were reduced in 31 states and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT).
Atiku also claimed that he defeated Buhari with 1,615,302 votes. He said data from INEC server showed that he actually polled a total of 18,356,732 votes to defeat President Muhammadu Buhari, who had 16,741,430 votes.
To give more credence to his claim, the former vice president also gave the “unique MAC address and Microsoft product ID of the INEC server,” from where he claimed the results were obtained.
According to him, “The servers from which the said figures were derived belongs to the first respondent (INEC). The figures and votes were transmitted to the first respondent’s Presidential Result’s Server 1 and thereafter aggregated in INEC_PRES_RSLT_SRV2019, whose Physical Address or unique Mac Address is 94-57-A5-DC-64-B9 with Microsoft Product ID 00252-7000000000-AA535. The above descriptions are unique to the 1st respondent’s server.”
However, the electoral body argued at the tribunal that it did not transmit results through electronic channels, but used manual collation as stipulated by law.
INEC according to it excerpts filings before the tribunal said, “It does not share information with such an unclassified entity and any information purportedly derived therefrom which does not accord with the result as declared by INEC is not authentic but rather was invented for the purpose. INEC specifically denies the existence of electronic transmission of results and it is unknown to the Electoral Act 2010 (as amended).”
But the INEC manual used for the training of ad-hoc staff prior to the elections proved otherwise, because it states in ‘Step 6’ under closing of polls that the Presiding Officer shall “send the number of voters verified from Smart Card Reader to INEC back end server.”
Meanwhile, the recently leaked memo, Oriaran-Anthony directed INEC resident electoral commissioners to provide feedback on challenges experiences during the elections, including failure to transmit voter accreditation data to a server.
She also instructed the Residents Electoral Commission (RECs) to direct their respective heads of department (ICT) to download the list of the polling units without accreditation data for their states from a provided web link.
Oriaran-Anthony stated: “The commission has observed, with deep concerns, the number of smart card readers that do not have data of accredited voters in the just concluded presidential/NASS elections nationwide.
“The total number of SCRs without accreditation data is 4,786 nationwide, which stands at about 4 per cent of the total SCRs deployed for that election. Attached is the chart, showing the PUs not uploaded to the SCR accreditation backend, for each of the states.” “You are please requested to liaise with your Head of Department (HOD) election operations and the electoral officers to provide comments beside each PU, stating why there are no accreditation data.
“The comments should reflect what happened to the SCR or the results of the PU: covering cases where election did not hold, cancellation of PU result, stolen or destroyed SCRs, etc. This should be submitted in both soft and hard copies, latest by Thursday, 28th May, 2019.”
For instance, the chart showed that in Abia state, the total number of Poll Units (Pus) is 2,675; the number of PUs with SCR data is 2,590, number of PU without SCR data is 85, while compliance with SCR usage was 96.8 per cent.
In Ekiti, total number of Poll units is 2,195, the number of PUs with SCR data is 2,194, number of PU without SCR data is 1, while compliance with SCR usage was 100 per cent

In plateau, the total number of PUs is 2,631, the number of PUs with SCR data is 2,506, the number of PUs without SCR data is 125, while compliance with SCR usage was 95.2 per cent
Also, in Kano, the total number of PUs is 8,074, Number of PUs with SCR data is 7,765 number of PU without SCR data is 309, while compliance with SCR usage was 96.2 per cent
In Rivers State, the total number of PUs is 4,442, the number of PUs with SCR data is 3,344, number of PU without SCR data is 1,098, while compliance with SCR usage was 76.3 per cent, making it the least state to have complied to the SCR usage
Besides, a corps member who served in Ibadan, Oyo state and simply identified herself as Adenike told THISDAY that all the results of the 2019 elections were transmitted to the central server. She added that as Assistant Presiding Officer (APO) during the election, her job was to transmit the result electronically.
According to her, “All the results were transmitted. It is the work of APO to transmit results.”
To further prove his case before the tribunal, Atiku had through his counsel said he would present 400 witnesses before the tribunal, with the parties agreeing to workable modalities in the management of time to ensure the petition was dispensed within the 180 days allowed by the Electoral Act.
Based on the agreement, ten days was allotted to the petitioners to open and close their argument, which commenced on July 4 and would expire on July 17.
The witnesses presented by Atiku so far, told the tribunal how thugs of the APC in connivance with security agents chased agents of the petitioners away for INEC to carry out the alleged manipulation of the results. They said in some instances where results submitted from the polling units and wards did not tally, the returning officer had to ask them to go back and correct it, leading to a lot of mutilation and cancellation in most of the results sheets.
Some of the witnesses said that while the security officials had ignored the complaints about the anomalies surrounding the conduct of the election, INEC officials told them to take their complaints and whatever grievances they have to the election tribunal.
Based on the above, a witness from Kaduna State, Major Yahaya Sikko, earlier in his evidence, had told the tribunal that wrong figures were accredited to Buhari and APC making him to refuse to sign the result sheet as required by law.
He told the tribunal that the abnormalities affected the results released by the electoral umpire. The witness said in his presence results were doctored by APC agents with the full backing of security personnel.
Another witness from Kaduna, AbdulRaman Usman, who corroborated the claims of over voting and allocation of results to parties in Kaduna State, said he could not sign Form EC8A because the form was not made available to the agents of the petitioners as required by law.
In his evidence, the Borno State Collation Officer, Nicholas Msheila, said he rejected most results in the 27 local government areas in the state because they were fraudulent.
Though the witness said the results declared by INEC exceeded the number of accredited voters, he could not give the figure of the accredited voters.
Msheila told the five-member tribunal that in all the results tendered in the state, there was evidence of mistake.
“The state collation officer would ask them to go back and reconcile results before returning,” he added.
Also testifying, Adams Ali Sanni admitted that he did not sign results sheets as agents of the petitioners because results were altered in his presence while votes cast for Atiku and PDP were reduced also in his presence.
He alleged that apart from unlawful cancellation of results, PDP agents were chased away by thugs of the APC to allow free falsification of results in favour of Buhari.
A witness from Bauchi State, Yau Yusuf, in attesting to claim of rigging, harassment and intimidation of voters, said election results were torn by a particular agent of the APC in the presence of INEC officials at INEC headquarters in Dass Local Government Area, yet nothing was done.
He added that the results announced by INEC were a reproduced copy while the police took the torn copy with a promise to prosecute the perpetrator.
All the witnesses from Borno stated that the results declared by INEC in Borno State could not have been true because of the issue of insurgency and bomb blast that prevented many people from casting their votes.

This is deliberate dumbness.

What INEC transmitted was ACCREDITATION DATA not results. The have a server for ACCREDITATION DATA but not for ELECTION RESULTS.

At the heat of election planning, it was not known whether Buhari will sign an electoral amendment or not. INEC made arrangements, if he signs it, well, the manual and card reader has it and it will just be activated. If he doesn't, they will just ignore it and will not deploy facilities towards electronic transmission.

He didn't sign it so the app on the card reader was not activated and the server never used.

It baffles me how the story PDP has fabricated is making sense to some people.

pls is there any 12v solar hybrid inverter that can work "without battery" ? i.e
SOLAR PANEL>>>INVERTER>>>LOAD
What you are talking about is
Solar Panel>Charge Controller>Inverter> AC Load.

Yes, it will work with an AC load but and inverter is not a very efficient machine and will waste the energy produced.

Instead, to get better efficiency, make the load a DC load then skip the inverter
Solar Panel>Charge Controller>DC Load.

The first arrangement will require more solar panels to power the same thing as the 2nd arrangement.

I am not the one sir

Argue with the Bible sir

1 Timothy 5:8 But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he hath denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.
One of the reasons why Christianity has degraded is the lack of comprehension with which especially people of this generation read, comprehend and translate the Bible.

If such comprehension is what you base your life, am afraid you would have been leading a wrong life from a very wrong perception of what the Bible says.

I advise you to get a Bible with commentary so that you don't just use the Bible wrongly like in this case.

On the particular verse, the context is with regards to deliberate neglect not incapacity to provide. Deliberate neglect means I have money in my account but refuse to pay my child's school fees, I am worst than an infidel. My grandmother is living in a leaky house and I can afford to fix the roof but deliberately refuse to fix the roof, i am worst than an infidel. His own means my immediate family such as wife and children and his own house means relatives such as parents, grandparents and other distant relatives. The Bible does not expect me to be 100% responsible 100% of the time for all my own (my family) and my own house (extended family). The Bible means you provide for them if you have it. And if you have it and you dont provide for them then you are worst than the person who is not of the Christian faith.

The Bible knows some people cannot afford to feed their own family and as such cannot call such poor fathers infidels.

Read the commentary below and be advised accordingly.

◄ 1 Timothy 5:8 ►
But if any provide not for his own, and specially for those of his own house, he has denied the faith, and is worse than an infidel.

But if any provide not for his own.—This repeated warning was necessary in the now rapidly widening circle of believers. Then, in those early days, as now, men and women were attempting to persuade themselves that the hopes and promises of Christians could be attained and won by a mere profession of faith, by an assent to the historical truths, by a barren reception of the doctrine of the atonement, without any practice of stern self-denial, apart from any loving consideration for others; there were evidently in that great Church of Ephesus, which St. Paul knew so well not a few professed believers in the Crucified who, while possessed themselves of a competence, perhaps even of wealth, could calmly look on while their relations and friends languished in the deepest poverty.
And specially for those of his own house.—The circle of those for whose support and sustenance a Christian was responsible is here enlarged: not merely is the fairly prosperous man who professes to love Christ, bound to do his best for his nearest relations, such as his mother and grandmother, but St. Paul says “he must assist those of his own house,” in which term relatives who are much more distant are included, and even dependents connected with the family who had fallen into poverty and distress.

He hath denied the faith.—Faith, considered as a rule of life, is practically denied by one who neglects these kindly duties and responsibilities, for “faith worketh by love” (Galatians 5:6). Faith here is considered by St. Paul, not as mere belief in the doctrine, or even in a person, but as a rule of life.

And is worse than an infidel.—The rules even of the nobler Pagan moralists forbid such heartless selfishness.

For a Christian, then, deliberately to neglect such plain duties would bring shame and disgrace on the religion of the loving Christ, and, notwithstanding the name he bore, and the company in which he was enrolled, such a denier of the faith would be really worse than a heathen.
In addition, read NLT version. It says, "But those who won't care for there relatives". The word "won't" means its a deliberate act.

Besides, what makes it only a mans responsibility, doesnt a woman share in responsibility of her own?

When a man dies, does his responsibility to his family follow him to heaven and if he is not able to be responsible for them even after death he is an infidel.

Me, i just wonder how you came to that conclusion.

If your wife was also down how will you feed your sonhuh Life happens but the landlord, headmistress, supermarket don't care so as a man you got to get up fast again and be assured that it is your sole responsibility to look after your children and may God help you and open your eyes to opportunities. The bible says anytime a man is unable to look after his family he is worse than an infidel - so 3 months of infidel practise is not too bad but it must be rectified so as to be a noble man again.

Dropped the act of full responsibility for who?? Your wife huh or her sugar daddy??

A poor man's pain - oda 15k a month for a child's upkeep is something. Please stop crying. grin grin grin

I just got back from Ebeano and 15k was not enough to buy groceries but it is what a grown man wants his son to live on for a month.
Been there, done all that but dropped the act for full responsibility. I have passed that and in the phase of training my children. Even building a house is not important to me now, it is my children's future that concerns me.

After doing all that, i do remember i became redundant at my job 3 months after getting married. My salary turned to a quarter of what it was. We managed, i got a deal and in six 6months a hit a deal that was more than my 3yrs salary combined. After then money stopped again.

All through, my wife didnt leave me because i am jobless and earned ¼ of the salary she married me with. I guess you would have since left, jumping from one man to another to keep a standard you set for your self.

I know some men who's wife will not see 10k in a month, once paid they spend the whole sum with girlfriends and booze. Somehow, the wife struggles and manages providing food by a miracle. So i respect the one who gives his baby mama 15k monthly even though she wants nothing to do with him. Someone else with a billion in his account will not give her a dime.

Why am I talking to someone like you who doesnt know jack about being a wife or mother, someone who doesnt know sacrifice or true love. They come hungry from heaven nad if you donot give them food they will scream the house down. Not a poor man's hobby at all. Please if you are poor and want children - go hustle first.

I am in total support of her action - my first loyalty is to my children, to give them the best footing in life. She is a very wise woman. OP will be fine - I hope he doubles his hustle before impregnating the next woman. It beats me how a poor man can have urges to fccuk a woman .....all you are supposed to be thinking about is where to get the next coin. Fccuuk is not a recreational activity it is a reproduction activity.
What is wrong with a rubber shoe? Hell, i saw an almost 20k rubber shoe on Jumia one time. What is a shoe? It is basically a covering for the foot. Does a rubber shoe not cover the foot?

Am sure you are the type who judges a book by its cover. One has to be rich to mean anything to you. One is a failure as long as he is not rich, abi? Statistically, how many Nigerians are rich, less than 10%. How much is the minimum wage, still N18k? How much the op give, N15k monthly. Remind me if only the 10% of rich Nigerians give birth.

Fuccking is what? Are you for real? Have you fuccked before? How many children do you have from the bleeps? If you dont have any then you should be ashamed you fuccked for nothing. If you have, then i hope you have 1 child per fucck so we know, "fuccking is not a recreational activity but a reproductive activity".

A elderly Pastor in an orthodox church in my area had his church marriage annulled just last month. The church hierarchy up to HQ sat on his matter. He was widowed and had grown up children but remarried. For 3 yrs this man had no sex with his new wife until he could not hold up any longer. Somehow, he discovered that she had a genetic condition where sex was impossible. She knew she was going to be a virgin for her lifetime but didn't tell, the marriage was annulled by the church (so i heard).

During my marriage counseling, we were lectured from the scripture that sex was marriage and marriage is sex. Children are not as important to a marriage as sex is. If this is so, how correct are you that, "sex is not a recreational activity it is a reproduction activity".

If i should go by you, love is totally unnecessary, all a man needs to marry a woman is money. All a woman needs from a man is money. Romeo and Juliet are both fools for falling in love. In fact, the rich and poor should not mingle.

Enough of all that. I think you have the poor man logic. The only thing you need to escape poverty is find a rich guy. You made that a logic and it clouds your reasoning. Am sure you have been to school or still going to school. Why dont you just stop, since you are either married or will marry a rich guy that will take care of all your needs. Why did you go to school when you will marry a rich guy who has money? Are you going to work after school or you went to school only to attract a rich guy?

15k is nothing, do you even earn 15k? Are you responsible to anyone other than yourself for up to 15k?

You even had the effrontery to mention baby formula, do you even know what baby formula is actually for? Is it for every baby?

There is a biological father, foster father, step father etc

Which 1 is illegal father? Which one is higher tradition or constitution?

Don't mind them, juveniles who have never had kids giving advice on feeding children. Ask them if her parents spent 25k per month to feed or tend them as babies.

I raised three children and I know that feeding babies is as expensive as you wish it to be. WHO recommends 6 months exclusive breastfeeding for your child to develop well mentally, physically and health wise, most igbo women breastfeed for over 1 year. After a year, the child can start eating adult foods (but mashed). There are some blended cheap but nutritious food blending that can substitute for expensive tin food. Not of my children agreed to eat those expensive tin mixes. I even tried SMA Gold, and non of my babies took it. My first son preferred oats with lots of milk, my last born (my daughter) loved golden morn, also with milk.

These people are talking like we did not feed our babies before the introduction of foreign food formula or their parents were weaned on foreign food mixes.
Dont mind those young girls who think it is the amount of money one keeps or makes in a month that makes one a man.

A man is simply that person who sees responsibility and takes it, it is not how much he makes.

I have 3 children too, non of them finished 1 tin of cerelac (we tried for each one for sake of our conscience). Only the 1st one had SMA Gold when the mother didnt have enough breast milk at 1st. My older children like Beverages eg Milo, Bornvita, Ovaltine, Horlicks and cereals like cornflakes, oats, golden morn and most of the Kellogg's range.

Those who say formula are unaware that it is a subtitute for breast milk in cases where the mother doesn't produce enough, died during child birth or for whatever reason doesn't want to breast feed.

People now see it as a status statement to feed their infants formulas while breast milk is the real deal. Children older than 6months have other requirements which even local women know how to produce with the right ingredients.

15k cannot do nothing for that child. How much is baby food? How much is daycare? etc

I will be honest with you - allow that rich man to look after that child biko and try and make money - take courses, hustle, get a job etc.

A child belongs comes out of who? the father or the mother?? it is who a mother gives her child to that is the father. Ok!? No one is sure who thier true father is - it is whoever your mum tells you is your father that is your father! Ok!?

Get money before you try for another baby with the next lucky lady or that one too will give your child to the highest bidder.

Most woman don't know babies are expensive until they have them - a mother's job is to do what is best for her child. Try and understand. Go make some money.

I have included prices of baby things below - does not contain school fees. He is mine is not the point here - It is can you give him a good life? You need to man up it is not about sperm. Once a child is on earth it is about provision. People will say otherwise but don't let anyone trick you. If you love that child you will let the rich man adopt him and use your ego to make money. Your child does not need your love as much as he needs diapers and formula

The truth hurts and I am sorry
Am sorry to say but i think you are out of line and sound like the baby's mummy. You sound like you would have done same or worst.

What you are talking about is standard of living and you seem to want to set a very high standard of living which is only obtainable by 10% or less of Nigerians. Didnt she know his standard of living before she opened her legs to him?

I believe there are families that live under N15k for a month and they still remain healthy and have a very good chance of having a successful education. Sharing pictures of expensive baby formulas is no way to say he is an irresponsible father or one who is incapable of taking care of a 2yr old within his means.

I have 3 children, non of which willingly open their mouths to 1 spoon of formula or anything industrially processed. Not even cerelac, custard or even the local corn pap (Akamu). My mother in law thought my wife was unserious feeding them with proper formula not until she tried it herself and failed. She had to tell her, welldone, you are trying with you kind of child.

One woman visited from the village and saw how my wife was wrestling to feed the baby and said, "this is unbelievable, when children in the village will hungry the thirst for this kind of food, this baby even knows how to lock his lips and prevent his mother from force feeding him!".

My point is, do not set the same standard for yourself and everyone else.

That 10k shoe you posted can be bought toks for as little as N1500. Meanwhile, nearly 50% of Nigerian children may not have worn a 2k shoe before.

The op wants his child and for someone who can afford 15k monthly unsolicited allowance for his child, i believe he will do well.

U can't claim a child from a woman that traditionally, legally religiously u didn't pay a dine on the mother. U want a child from her and never bothered to do something on her head.
What you are saying is customary law, this law will not allow the father custody of the child but cannot deny the father his biological rights of fatherhood.

The child is his, the right to visit his child cannot be taken away from him even by customary court.

I also think the only way he may get a reasonable judgement in his favour is if the woman actually marries another man and the child bears the name of the other man or she left the child to her parents.

Now, it has change that it is she who has refused to marry the father of her child not the other way round.

Steel door before tiling and wooden doors after tiling thats because steel doors are mostly not adjustable while wooden doors are adjustable.

The issue is managing the tile to door level. Tiling becomes complicated with doors installed because the doors will almost certainly not be a exactly the same level through out the house. It becomes easier to adjust door to tile level than tile to door level.

Ladies and Gentlemen that was how N50 fuse nearly turn me to mad pesin

For educational purposes, this is what happened.

The fuse must have gotten burnt some time in the past and a technician, just placed the copper wire around it, but the copper wire did not sit properly in the contacts, and the connection was partial.

The reason why I never checked fuses was that each time car went of, all you had to do was wait it out and car would start, the waiting period was not consistent.

Fuses are usually working or not working so really gooffed on this one grin

The good side is I am yet to collect any money from the client, and yes he is reading this thread and yes I am coming for you (is it me that tell u to use wire inside fuse? )

Car has been returned to client, and has been out for 3days and no more switching off in motion.

Buy a fuse today, save your self and your technician.

Say no to copper wire on fuse.

The end
This reminds of my car's audio unit issues. The usual 1 loader going off and on at random. One guy fixed it and it stopped for like 6months but later resumed the musical interruption.

Several electronics repair guys made several attempts but nothing. I did my research but nothing concrete was found. Once a while i will remove the board out of frustration, touch, press and punch what ever i see, yet, no result.

One day, after doing my gragra, the audio system never came on again. Took it to 1st, 2nd and the original guy who made the 1st repair but all gave up.

3 months of driving in silence, i got a good deal for the complete board. The CD player unit was sold to someone and left the other units. The board was as clean as new, i went straight to my electronic guy who installed it. Audio system refused to come up. Called the seller, went back to him, voila, N50 fuse was out.

So my old board may still be functional and i spent 3 months driving in silence! undecided

For most mechanics, installing it back is stressful and cumbersome. Others say you gain a little more horsepower and more Engine oil pressure.

It is meant to reducing engine vibrations especially for a big engine like the 2tr.

Yes, the Engine will work without it but the hole needs to be properly covered.

Building on in-depth consumer research and rich insights thereof, MTN Nigeria has announced a price slash on its data offerings thereby becoming more competitive and matching the best available while still boasting of incomparable brand experience.

This is coming just two weeks after launching its revolutionary 4G+ which according to the top echelon of the multinational company, offers customers faster data speeds.  The price slash announced today at its Falomo, Victoria Island, Lagos headquarters, cuts across all its data plans and offerings.

Under the new price structure, customers can now enjoy more value for money with up to 30% more data volume for 30-day plans. Subscribers according to the new incentivize offering, will also enjoy up to 100% incremental volume for weekly data plans and 25% incremental volume for daily plans.

In addition, new customers will enjoy introductory offers, with access to prices as low as N50 for 50MB and N500 for 2GB. They will also receive a 100% bonus on data purchases for four months.

This indicates that regardless of a customer’s budget, there is something for everyone, officials impressed at the media session while hinging on the company’s “best customer experience” which also compliments the new best value for data proposition.

Commenting on the new, more affordable prices, the Chief marketing officer, Rahul De said, “With the faster internet speeds delivered by the launch of 4G+, this data price slash could not have come at a better time for our customers, as we’ve seen that faster data speeds mean more data usage".

He explained how increased quality and speed on the MTN network, had enabled customers to explore new ways to use old services while discovering applications.

“In the space of a few years, people went from instant messaging to sharing funny videos and from listening to music to streaming high definition movies. People’s data needs have changed, we recognise that. Our customers need much more and we are delivering that for less".

To enjoy the price slash, a customer can dial 131, *131# or download the MyMTNApp on their mobile phones. Data bundles are also available via all bank mobile apps, mobile banking channels or by USSD.

This article came at the nick of time. I was about to write a post about FRSC and the Nigerian Police as regards road users. Is there any updated handbook we road users can buy or access to educate ourselves about the various offences and their respective charges as at 2019?

I travelled from Lagos to Onitsha few days back and I was stopped several times by the police and FRSC. At one of the FRSC checkpoints, I was told 2 of my tires have expired. The manufacturing dates are 2012 and 2013. They added 4 years to the manufacturing dates to arrive at their conclusions. I bought the tires recently and they are in superb condition. My argument is if tires expire, the manufacturers will indicate. How do they arrive at such conclusions?

Secondly, I was stopped at a police checkpoint. My offence was that my particulars didn't carry my names despite I told them I just got the car and I tendered police report and a court affidavit as evidence alongside the purchase receipt. I argued that the law gives me few months to get a change of ownership done. The Sergeant disagreed, he challenged me to provide the law that said so. Seeing I maintained my ground, he delayed me for few minutes before letting me go, not without giving him a "roger".

Though we later sorted ourselves in the "Nigerian way" but I will really like to know if there's a federal traffic law handbook or a to go place to source for updated knowledge regarding Nigerian traffic law and offences.
I was gonna ask the same question.

FRSC offences has nothing like expired tires as a fine. They only have worn out tires.

The problem is that when they tell you they will fine you for expired tires they will actually fine you for worn out tires which is completely different to what they accuse you of.

A worn out tire is different from expired tire. All tires have wear indicators but no tire has expiry date or any indication of expiry.

Secondly, they have a fine for shattered windscreen, i find it hard to comprehend why the fine people for shattered windscreen when the wind screen has a hairline crack.

Your license expiry date is clearly written on it. You can apply for a renewal when you have one month validity left i.e. if your license is to expire on 3rd September 2019, you can apply for a renewal from 3rd August 2019.

There is no excuse and no "grace period" for driving with an expired driver's license in Nigeria
Funny enough, drivers license expires on your birthday. So if you dont renew immediately, its your loss. Since, if you wait 3 months to renew, it will still expire the same day as it would if you renewed before the expiry date.

Its just a loss to delay the renewal process.

Now before you judge me, I beg you to hear my side of the story.
I said my side of the story cos if she is here, she may not agree with everything I have to say.
This is a lengthy one but I will try to make it as short as possible.
I it is important to note that I am not writing this to be judged or ridiculed. I want matured and reasonable people to help out.

I met this girl in 2017. Can't really remember the month but it should be getting to 2years now. We started dating. As at the time I met her I wasn't struggling, I have my own business and apartment so I wouldn't say she met me when I had nothing. I was a big boy then if I can use that word.
She was just 19 or so then. I am this kind of guy that really really take relationship serious and always looking out to see if things can work out. I don't spend on her, I don't do much for her then. I wanted to see the kind of person she is. She doesn't care or even ask of anything. She might ask for something once in a while but I will pretend I didn't hearw her and to my amazement, she will never talk about it again.
With time I started noticing something about her that I don't like. First is she is really not smart and educated. I noticed that she doesn't have her own say. She listens to gossip and always bore me with what this person said or that person. I really hate that shit.
She is a mama's girl too. Sometimes I wonder if she gives her mom details of our sex life.
She won't sweep the house or do anything for me even while the relationship progressed. I started taking care of her and helping out with her needs. I constantly keep wondering if I can settle down with her but I am always stuck with that question.

I ended the relationship when it was clear to me that I can't live with her. I am an ambitious young man and I am not there yet. I want a woman who will be more than a sex mate. I want someone who can confidently handle my business and manage my home when I am not there. She is to naive to my liking. I am tired trying to build her into the kind of woman I want.

There is only one main reason why I wasn't really hard on her. She was one girl who accepted me from her heart and I know it and I respected that too. I suck when it comes to women and I respect women a lot. You know what they say about guys that respect women. They are mostly single
She came back few months later. She wasn't ready to let go. Being that I am a loner. My defence wasn't strong enough. We started dating. I got hold of myself and ask her to go again because I couldn't see a future with her and I can't bring myself to be wasting her time.

She wanted to stay, I told her in plain words that I don't want to marry her and that's why I am setting her free.

She left and came back the third time. We had sex and all that but this time I was determined to let her go. I went to a lab for a test with to make sure I didn't infect her with anything because I treated staph before I met her and I was afraid it may still be there or something. To my utmost surprise, she was the one who infected me with gonorrhea. I treated mine and hers and ask her to go.

I noticed that she haven't seen her period and asked her and she confirmed it. She left and came back few weeks later that she is pregnant. She insisted that she wanted to have an abortion but I wasn't interested. I told her to keep the child. Besides, she has been the one telling me that my sperm us not working. I laughed over it. I became afraid that she will try something stupid so I took her to a pharmacist friend of mine to discourage her.

Her mother got to know and ask her to call me. I went with a friend and told her mother everything. I started suspecting that the child might not be mine because I treated her of an infection she possibly contacted from another person. In fact, I was shocked when she confessed about the infection. She said it is the toilet they use at home but I never believed her.

I told her mother that I am not sure about the paternity but however, I will take care of her. I told her family that I don't want to marry her and I have told her that severely.

We had a long discussion that day and I left. I started taking care if her the more. I made sure that I made my stand clear on the matter. I don't want to be a murderer so I got to do what is necessary. She started complaining about abuse from her siblings and war started. They beat her almost all the time and I wanted to take it personal. Shit do happen at times but that is not enough reason to kill their sister.

When all this is happening, I was processing my papers. In fact, I started processing my papers before she got pregnant and she is full aware of that. I took another group of friends to their home to help beg the brothers to stop beating her so they don't kill her and the child.

My visa took time so she was almost due for delivery before I left. I sent money to her account and bought some things I felt she would need even the unnecessary ones and left.

My problem now is that she contacted me few days ago to tell me that the scan said she is having twins now not a boy. I can't explain in details because I don't know but the bottom line is that she is now having a twins. I feel for her like I always do.

I don't want to marry out of pity. I don't want to live a promiscuous life. I don't want to marry this girl honestly and having a twins for me just complicated the matter the more.

She said the doctor said she will be delivering this month. I am thinking of sending my uncle and younger brother to her family house to do the iku aka or whatever that is called so I can lay claims to my kids.

Her family is so messed up that I will never want to do anything with them on a normal day. They are from onitsha in anambra and I swore never to marry from that state. That's one of the reason I kept chasing her away. When I say messed up, I am really not that good with English to find the right word to define how disorganized it is.

I am feeling like a monster already. I need all the help that I can get. I never expected this to happen. I never wanted to complicate her life but here I am in the middle of all this.

Should I marry her out of pity and save her the embarrassment or give her money and make sure she comfortable and go ahead with my life. Honestly I don't know what to do.
I totally understand.

I do agree that marriage out of pity is a recipe for an unhappy home and possibly divorce. However, it is not an excuse for irresponsibility. If the parternity of the twins is confirmed to be yours, you have alot more responsibility for their well being than the money you give.

At this point, it is not fair to the mother and your children if you are so selfish enough to abandon them hoping to get a picture perfect wife for yourself.

The girl by your story is a proven naive case. I will only ask you, how do you plan to be a father to your kids and not the baby daddy that you are tight now?
