But the truth is for her to get a guy like that she must be dead drop beautiful, have the shapes and looks of a super model, be smart and enlightened, very good in bed, younger than 25 and have friends that roll in such circles or have some money herself to enable her gain access to such circles. Guys that rich don't really care about your money or achievements , they mostly want a trophy wife, who they can use to impress other guys in their circle and the media.

However, the only way to save your reputation is to turn that house and the neighbours own upside down until you find the culprit responsible for this dastardly act, drag him to your sis and get your apology. Also If anyone is being intimate in that house it's likely to be her and her husband and like most young parents, they might have the kid with them and assume that the child is sleeping when the child is not while engaging in the act. As a matter of fact, I would bring this issue and accusation to her husband's notice immediately before she slanders me even further and take a step back from visiting too frequently.

This one is not a problem na, just operate a single joint account between both of you.. Every money that comes to both of you will come into one pot and you make expenses and savings from there. Nothing like his money and her money... Only our money, it will curtail reckless spending because you can decide that any single expenses of eg. 100k and above will have to be done with the other partners knowledge. Promotes transparency too. You can also have individual personal savings accounts that get some percentage of earnings from the main pot if you want some personal space.

A more practical approach will be to quickly deescalate the situation by separating warring parties. Take wife to the bedroom and listen to her version, from her version, praise her for what she did right and point out what she did wrong. Then listen to Mum's version, praise her for what she did right and point out what she did wrong... Then bring them together and have them apologize to each other for the areas I told them they went wrong, then do something I know will make them happy, maybe gifts, outings, a stroll in the park, etc, according to their individual preferences. Luckily I have a great mother, even Jezebel herself won't be able to have issues with her.

It's funny when people say a man's money is for the family and a woman's money is for herself....its a man's responsibility to provide for the family.. Etc but they will also want the man to do cooking, help with house chores, help with taking care of kids etc ... Which is supposed to be the woman's responsibility. If we re going to define the marriage by gender roles, then let the woman stay at home and take care of kids and perform her duties (her responsibility) and the only money she gets is what her man gives her, while the man works and brings the funds n pays the bills (his responsibility). However, if we re going to have a modern marriage. Then the responsibility to provide, pay bills, take care of kids, house chores.. Etc, lies with both of us. A woman can't take out time and energy meant for taking care of the family to go and work and not be expected to return the proceeds of that endeavour to the family like a man does. If she doesn't want to bring in her money then she shouldn't work, or better still become a single mother and spend her money alone.
