If i wanted a career, i wouldnt marry. I would say if u are wise and want some peace, u will settle for one cause i dont think they can work together. |
mOVE ON WITH YOUR LIFE. When she decides she wants you back - then if u are single and still wanna be with her, then its all good. |
I do not like when a guy is insensitive. rude, arrogant smelly has no dreams or goals no ambition don't know the rite buttons to press and isnt willing to learn can't dress and definitely don't know the LORD. |
If its something that u cant handle, then its best you take your leave. |
I wont go right ahead and ask him, i will expect though to know so we can plan our financial life together. |
Oga o. What am gonna say is that things like this have a way of coming back and biting people in the backside. Leave her cause i know a couple that the same thin happened to - she succeeded sha and got her red pali, but she totally wrecked the man. By the grace of God, her plans will come to nothing, on their wedding day, lightning will strike and that guy will wake up from his slumber and abandon her at the alter. (ase ti gun) |
maryduke00:Well maybe u should g to Aruba or Dubai - thats always good. Maybe even France. |
You cant do anything to make her love u - she left you and not the other way round. You cant make her stay - just be yourself and do what u can. |
amsky:Oga o is 'na wa o'. Found love in u? Thats true from the calvary kinda love nothing more o cause i love ma men too much. ![]() |
aisha2:TESTIFY! |
Why should u keep something of this magnitude hidden from ur other half? |
Only a foolish woman wouldnt submit to her husband. She is just asking for a broken home. |
Abi o? The amount of people who make up stories in this joint. What does it matter - she needed help and she got it. Why dont people just get along! |
Like Siena said, there are different ways of knowing. He would have to touch me (emotionally) in places tat i have never been touched before - in short sha, its a whole different combination of things. It also helps when God's spirit testifies with your spirit that he is the one. ![]() |
What am saying is that - how will he know which girl is from an educated background? I am saying this because i have seen friends marry those who are educated and those who are non educated - and its all ended the same way. I am truly yet to hear of someone that brought a wife from Nija and it ended well - am not saying there arent good girls o. I am just speaking from experience. |
Mums can be like that, why dont u sit with her alone and ask her what her fears are. Cause it would be lovely to have peace for the wedding otherwise your wife would feel the strain. |
Oga o. Thank God that this thread exists, at least there is still hope that we singles are gonna feel the love one day. I pray that God will soothe every pain out there, for everyone that have loved and lost, Jesus Christ the Balm of Gilead will soothe their pain. Amen. God remember me o cause all this love am feeling here shouldnt just waste like that o. ![]() |
tngtech:No i just like how he is real naive sha. |
Siena:I am not discouraging anyone. What i have said ti him is that in terms of mental level - he isnt on their level. He has never even been in Nija, and u want him to marry a Nija girl. I am just saying to him what i would say to my brother - he wont be able to handle it. Being hurt is not the issue here, but being hurt and left skint is what am talking about. Being skint financially, emotonally, spiritually etc. I am not painting Nija girls anyhow, i am a Nija girl and thats what i feel. |
I am not siding anyone, i am just saying that i am yet to see a female tat doesnt nag. But if u know nagging is irritating, then why dont u just do what she says the first time she says it. |
Everybody at a point in time will experience heartbreak Its just a normal growing up thing - it just makes us stronger. I believe that what doesnt kill us only makes us stronger because we need to be in a position to use our experiences as well as a ministry, use it to speak to people going through the same thing. It seems terrible now, but joy will surely come in the morning - just keep living, it will get better. |
But i seriously believe that there are forces that are at work behind the scene. I believe that the true force is the Lord Almighty, He is the ruler over them all. I believe that we shouldnt be ignorant that there are principalities and powers - but the joy is that they cant overcome God's true people. But just because it seemed like the olden days, that doesnt mean they dont exist. |
Why are you going to Nija to marry? Are there no American Nigerian girls there? Omo i really don't think u should venture into it, i don't think u have the liver (no offense). Sweetie, i really like u sha and i dont want to see u hurt - so am saying dont do it. |
I take it very seriously. I dont say it anyhow and when its said to me - i say make sure u mean it and dont say what you dont mean. |
Oga o. I will surely try to avoid all these traits sha. ![]() But wait is there a female that doesnt nag ? |
Sorry o a belated congratulations. May the joy of marriage be with u now and forever more o. |
Personally, i would definitely prefer o marry someone from ma tribe - that we understand our language, etc. Its just based on ma past experiences. So no i DEFINITELY WOULDNT. |
Am sure all mothers say so. My mum said the same - her first child married Bendel man. second child married an igbo woman third child married hausa so u see we love our mum but she shouldnt decide for u. Get family members to talk to her and if she still doesnt budge, then do what you gotta do - she wont have a choice she will have to be at the wedding. |
