This is a different case because he's married to a Nigerian. I'm not saying there are no white people that stay. What i'm saying is that most white people in Nigeria are here for the monetary gain. If they ever desire to live in Africa, they go to countries such as Ghana, Kenya, Tanzania and South Africa.

Most foreigners in Nigeria come here as expatriates in oil companies as well as other companies. Once their contracts are over, they run to wherever they came from.

But on the flip side white people in Ghana mostly go there for tourism because the country understands what it means to tap the tourism potential. Infact a lot of things in Ghana nowadays are built for these tourists to come and enjoy.

I have a question for engineers on this thread, specifically, road engineers.

Is there something about roads in Aba that makes it difficult or maybe expensive to do compared to roads in other parts of the country. I think i've heard something similar pertaining to the soil in the Niger Delta. I don't know if that's what is wrong with Aba.

I'm asking because, i can't for the life of me understand why Aba is so neglected by the Abia state government. They can't even make the roads as decent as the roads in Umuahia.

I think you're spot on.

Rivers State houses Port-hacourt, the oil capital of Nigeria. Some other parts of the state are also moderately developed.

Delta comes second because it has the most developed cities such as Asaba, Warri, Ugheli, Sapele, Agbor etc.

Third of course is Akwa Ibom with Uyo and Eket holding it down.

Edo state of course has Benin, Auchi etc.

Cross River has Calabar as well as other small towns.

And then Bayelsa.
