I'm from Enugu. Enugu is atleast 90% Igbo if anything. The non-Igbo minority are silent.

There's a thread on the most cosmopolitan states in Nigeria here but like a lot of opinionated threads, it is riddled with misinformation which comes from a place of ignorance and half baked education. I saw IBADAN in the list even though the list what for states instead of cities and it made me wonder what sort of education some Nigerians have.

I also had a problem with the fact that there was no criteria for the ranking. Are we using ethnic groups, religion, non indegenes ? It has to be clearly stated.

That's why i've decided to make my list of the most cosmopolitan states in Nigeria including ABUJA and my criteria is majorly the ethnic distribution of the states and i will be listing them from the most cosmopolitan.

1. LAGOS: This is Nigeria's former capital city and economic capital. Thousands of people make it to Lagos from all over the country on a daily basis. It is a state where you can hear just about any language in the streets, from Yoruba to pidgin English to Igbo and Hausa. Atleast 50% of the population of Lagos are non Yorubas.

2. ABUJA: This is Nigeria's capital territory and nowhere in Nigeria has a more nationalistic feel than this city. The fact that it is home to a lot of government ministries and parastatals means that you will see people from different ethnic groups in the city. It is not called the center of Unity for nothing.

3. Rivers State: This state is the most cosmopolitan state in southern apart from Lagos. It is mostly populated by people from ethnic groups in the south, particular people from states closer to it. That is why you find Ijaws, Igbos, Ikwerres, Ibibios and people from a lot of minority groups in the south. You also have a large Hausa and Yoruba population in the state.

4. Delta State: This state by providence is already cosmopolitan because the state is home to ethnic groups ranging from the Urhobos, Isokos, Itsekiris, Ijaws and the Igbos that are native to the states. You also have a large influx of Igbos from the neigbouring state of Anambra to the capital city of Asaba. it is also home to Edos, Hausas, Yorubas and people from other ethhnic groups.

5. OGUN: Despite being a majority Yoruba state, owing to it's closeness to Lagos state, Ogun has distinguished itself as one of the most cosmopolitaan states as you have people fro all over the country calling the state home especially in places close to Lagos.

6. KADUNA: This state is a special place in Nigeria because it is home to a lot of government agencies which means that it will attract people from all over the country. There's a huge population of Igbo, Yoruba and people from Northern ethnic groups.

7. EDO: The capital of Edo state, Benin used to be the capital of the old Bendel state and as such is home to people from areas that made up the state. That's why you would find Urhobos, Isokos, Ijaws, Itsekiri and Delta Igbos in the capital of the state either doing business of attending the prestigious university of Benin.

Amokachi will rather concede that ikel is NIgeria's greatest player instead of his fellow team mates, Okocha and Kanu.

Aiyegbeni on the other hand will rather choose someone from time past as the best defensive midfielder than a his fellow Nigerian team mate Mikel Obi. But Aiyegbeni is closer to the truth than Amokachi.

I personally think Mikel should never be mentioned in anything that has BEST in it as far as football is concerned.

I have not followed the Nigerian premier league for some years now, so i may not be in a good position to know for a fact if Rivers United has a case. But they did the right thing by taking their case to FIFA.

I hate APC with a passion but won't mind if Abia APC presents Alex Otti. He's miles better than all the deadwoods that Abia PDP have fielded.

You have many Akwa ibomites in CRS government who claim Efik because they grew and live in Efik land and efiks are cool with it, Continue your self hate and don't fight the atam people marginalizing u.

Like what percentage of Cross River do Efiks make up. If they're the majority, shouldn't they have more voting power?

Let me reiterate that the housemates with the most fans as at now are:

1. LAYCON

2. ERICA

3. NENGI, OZO and DORATHY

After checking all the indices, it's obvious that laycon has the most fans followed by Erica and then i don't who has more fans between Nengi, Ozo and Dorathy.

However, this does not really tell who will win because if someone like Erica for example has the right backers she can displace Laycon.

If you ask those housemates who they think is smart, they will pick ozo over laycon everytime, cause ozo doesnt show himself, he earns your respect, laycon always wants to form

Ozo and Laycon are both smart but Ozo is more of an all rounder. He may not have as much data as Laycon as Laycon actually knows a lot. He's well read. But Ozo is intelligent in his own area of core competence, soft and well spoken and is more of a leader than Laycon. That's the difference between the two. That's why their fellow housemates may think Ozo is smarter.

Of course, Laycon is intelligent and smart. Maybe you haven't seen him talk before. Though i think that's the excuse that people who like him are using when in actual fact they started with the pity card. I really don't mind Laycon winning as long as no one throws the whole "he deserves it more"- statement. Everybody in the house deserves to win. But i still Stan Erica, Laycon and Ozo. I also like most housemates really. It's hard to hate housemates in this year's Big Brother.

Erica's votes have declined or have increased? While others are losing votes, Erica is gaining despite her sexual activity. The only person that may have more votes than Erica is her friend, LAYCON.
