ba7man: I don't know about that last piece you wrote. Are you sure a Party is not only as good as the development and progress they effect in areas they controlThat too. But nothing takes the cake like public relations. |
doublewisdom: The difference is really clear. Gbawe and his APC defenders here on nairaland are ordinary thugs. They sound gutter bred. Continue this way and you will make APC more unpopular than ever. I think their handlers should relieve them of their duties on this forum, retrieve their laptops, stop their salaries and employ 'refined ' people who can engage in meaningful verbal exchange devoid of petty insults. The truth is, these are the people who made me averse to APC. I used to be a supporter of Alliance for Democracy(AD) and when it metamorphosed to AC but when i started following the comments of their supporters on Nairaland, the hate just set in and i'm even more relaxed with the PDP that i used to hate with a passion. A party is only as good as the people they send out to relate with people. |
I'm currently downloading the episode 7 and i will get back to you guyz when i'm done watching it. It's currently on 92.7%. I hope it completes. God punish internet in Nigeria. |
Obiagelli: Mbeki sure knows nigeria expecially from his surulere years. 2015 goes wrong and I am done with Nigeria. How do you mean? If APC loses? |
DonMekino: SE is tagged underdev bc ppl expect them to be better than they are....but in reality they are not d most underdeveloped region in Nigeria ....if actually u have travelled to Ekiti n far north u will understand wat I meanSomeone who gets the drift. |
If Amaechi can do it then you can. I like this woman, she's strong. |
I wish this was built in every Nigerian city. This is what we need and not all these ogbanje block of flats that i see everywhere. |
safarigirl: Lol, these people though. First it was the shortened ET, now it's an ineligible player. If they had done their homework and won convincingly at home, they wouldn't be grasping at straws now. Why couldn't others emulate our cute record of a home and away win? Anyway, I wish them luck in their quest to get a WC ticket, I just feel like FIFA wouldn't be so eager to get rid of the only North African rep for a nation like BF who aren't as psyched bout football as the North Africans. It'll be like sacrificing Uruguay's ticket to Jordan- bad marketIf Algeria is found out to be guilty, they'll be thrown the same way it was done to Cape-Verde. |
Congrats to Enyeama. But where does this leave Ejide. Ejide is Ronaldo and Enyeama is Messi. |
If this is true then Burkina will be at the world cup. They probably knew this before the match and kept quiet ![]() |
one.east1:Keep fooling yourself. Is your name not chino again? |
Kponkwem: You forget that you said other zones are building new airports and other projects? That's why I posed the question. I accept there is paucity of development ideas in the SE but Enugu and Imo are a pride. That apart I have my utmost faith in this much derided region. It's just a matter of time before they get it right.Nwanne, what has war got to do with anything. The Imo and Enugu that you cite are just residential cities and it's expected that they'll be the most beautiful cities in that region cos they don't have the commercial prowess that the likes of Aba, Onitsha and Newi have. That's why my eye has always being on Abia and Anambra cos i believe they have the key to unlock the commercialization of the east but unfortunately, those leading the states have not been up to scratch especially for Abia. |
one.east1:If you're expecting that i'll engage you in a State Vs State comparison then you're on a long thing. if perrson follow your mouth, the person go think say Anambra don turn heaven on earth. Biko ga noro ana. |
E be like say something dey worry you for head. You wan commit suicide because of English. God punish English. |
asha 80: i hope you know you the one that started the comparision?read your opening post well.I didn't intend for it to be a comparison though i juxtaposed the SE with some other parts of the country and i expected that we'll discuss our problems instead of abdicating them for comparisons with other parts of the country. |
Kponkwem: I agree that Elechi Amadi is Ikwerre Igbo and therefore understands Igbo naturally, but both Saro Wiwa and Boro grew up among Igbo. Saro Wiwa lived mostly in Umuahia and was in Govt College. His Igbo was impeccable. Boro stayed in Nsukka, enjoyed Eastern govt subsidies and was even elected Student Union govt President in UNN. Check your facts. When you said "Igbo Speaking", i thought you were referring to indigenous Igbo speaking. |
Kponkwem: If we are to take the traitors' positions of Ken Saro Wiwa, Adaka Boro and Elechi Amadi, all Igbo speaking Niger Deltans who claimed in the course of the war of freedom by Biafra that Igbo will dominate the rest as the reason for North's messianic posture, how do you reconcile it with their exploitation of South South oil and the vicious onslaught against Jonathan?Just to correct an impression, only Elechi Amadi is an Igbo speaking Niger-Deltan. |
gratiaeo: AFAM not until you point out what's happening in other states apart from development on white papers i wouldn't comment Kponkwem: BTW can u show me just one city in SW that is better than any of the SE capitals? This is the problem. Instead of you to look inward, you always want to compare yourself to others who are probably like you in order for you to look better. That's how failures reason. |
collynzo2: When the likes of you are sitting down somewhere in Lagos, whom do you expect to hold the government to ransome?I won't argue with you cos you're right and i highlighted this some months back. The reason why our leaders are behaving as they choose is because those that are supposed to stand up to them don't live in the South-East. |
ifyalways: Suggestion for Afam :I'm Sorry! |
I wish it was chelsea that was receiving this beating. I like Liverpool a little bit. |
I'm writing this to register my displeasure with the almost absence of huge development in the South-East of the country. I have looked round the country and have discovered that, it's probably in the South-East of the country that you have the lowest numbers of development, especially capital development going on. I recently saw a thread on stadiums being built by state governments and none of these stadiums are been built by South-East governments. Governments all over the country are embarking on building New Airports in their states but none of these states are South-East states. States all over the federation are setting up tourism havens but not in the South-East and this brings me to the question, what do South-East governors use their allocation for cos i've not seen any project in the SE worth jumping up for save for a few mostly in Enugu. As an Igbo man, i find it embarassing that when it's time to even boast about what my part of the country has done, there's very little that one can be proud of. I'm even looking to see if something is going on in Asaba to even use that to boast but despite the fact that some things have been achieved in Asaba, it's still a growing city. Right now, Enugu is all there is to be boastful about in the SE and i think it's a shame that a people who pride themselves in commerce are lagging behind big time in a country that can't even be said to be developing. I think the major problem is one of leadership. We probably boast of the worst leaders that this country has produced. We have to make do with all these Ogbete leaders that our states keep churning out. For heaven sake, what business has Theodore has in becoming an LGA chairman let alone a state governor. is there nobody that can do better than Martin Elechi? Is Peter Obi the best Anambra can boast of? When will Rochas start attracting big time investors to Imo state who are not coming to setup up cheap hotels. The SE needs our attention and it has to be very fast. |
Ohh, that |
Christian Chukwu has been appointed as the Technical Consultant of Enugu Rangers. |
Let's learn to tell ourselves the truth. This is not even a contest. Da Prince as much as people have said he's not talented has released numerous hit tracks which include Omoba, Give it to me, Goody bag and Take bannana. As K switch, the only of his song i know is Oluwa is Involved and that is because i heard someone playing it and i liked it and downloaded it but i don't think i ever heard it being played anywhere before. |
One missed call was scary as sh1t. Even the soundtrack was scary. |
I think you mean Ameze Imarhiagbe |
Kayswitch's career has not even kicked off but D'Prince is an A-list artiste in Nigeria with hits to his name. |
The song was crap anyways. |
god_of_music: I just did a flashback on my secondary school days when i was a senior with an official post. I was the 'Cultural and Game prefect' then. . .You have the potential to be worse than Idi-Amin when given power. |
wesley80: Obielum is with Ogboru and the DPP and will continue to lose ala Buhari. As for your Gabriel, I've never heard of him and that speaks volumes. Every honest analyst knows Delta state is still firmly in the hands of the PDP. I dont expect any change come 2015.I read somewhere that Ogboru has decamped to the PDP. |
I think PDP will most likely present an Anioma candidate in Ifeanyi Okowa. But i think what Anioma needs is a state. |

The guy was just in JSS1 and he wore the same shoe with me! I ceased the shoes and asked him to pick all the stones in a particular area under the hot sun
