hercules07: Buck stops at the table of the minister, the call for her sack is the correct one, of course, she can also be sacked along with the NCAA guys or a new minister can sack the NCAA man. The problem with a lot of people supporting her is because she is from their tribe, the NCAA man is from my tribe and I believe he should be sacked, anybody and everybody responsible for the failures should be sacked. Do you know how many CEOs got fired because of ordinary cable ducts during the manufacture of the A380?

Do you agree that the President should be impeached too since he's at the Aviation minister's boss and since the Aviation minister is the NCAA chairman's boss.

This is what you get when you allow people beclouded by party sentiments to speak on national issues. How can you call for the resignation of the Aviation minister because of crashed planes when the NCAA should be held responsible. If Oduah is sacked, will Jonathan also impeached or resign? Why hasn't anyone called for the sack of the minister of Transport because the number of people who have died from road induced accodents in this decade alone can fill up the national stadium in Sululere. Why hasn't the minister of Defence been sacked due to the scores of people that have met their untimely death because of the wicked attacks by the bokoharam sect. What we should calling for is for Oduah to sack whoever is in charge of NCAA and not us calling for her sack cos she's the best Aviation minister that we've had for a long time. The Aviation minister was an utter disgrace when Fani Kayode and Aborishade manned it. SO, i find it rather hypocritical that someone like Kayode has the effrontery to advertise his quantum hypocrisy to the world. These are people that are supposed to be spending the rest of their lives in Panti for embezzling finds meant for the aviation industry.

Truly,I was surprised to hear that Ngige organized a rally yesterday in Onitsha. Mind you,Im his ardent surpporter.
Our Ofala festival is widely announced,even a year before. All major roads(Awka road,Okosi road,Ugwunabankpa,ime ogbe nile) are shut down.
Ofala is our sacred festival and lasts for a whole week. No one is buried,married or any sort of gathering allowed within Ofala week.
Why then did Ngige fall hand ?

Was he mis-informed? Could he have been communicating with a fake palace secretary?

He has just lost some supporters yet again after yesterday's incident.I feel bad but as a titled Igwe nwanyi with complete Odu aka to boot, the gods of our land wont be happy if i vote/align with/support a man that have desecrated our land. A lot of people share same sentiment. I now fear for Ngige's candidacy but i still wish he emerges victorious come November.

As at yesterday night, titled men and women (Igwe nwanyi's,diokpa's,agbalanze,ozo,odu,nne nmo,Onowu etc)have been mandated to inform their kit and kin that anyone found voting,campaigning for Ngige would be ex-communicated. It's that bad.

This sounds very serious. Ngige will have himself to blame if he loses this.

I'm not suprised that the Igbos are claiming Ika because they have the reputation of claiming anything good, even people that dont have anything to do with Igbo for example Igbos said that the name Dangote is the corrupt form of Di anyi gote. I have also heard them say Obama is a corrupt form of an Igbo word Mbama. But what I dont understand is why they are not mounting as much pressure on Ikweres as they do on Anioma.
As an Ika man, what people see me as is not as important as what I see my self as. People see Tiv people as Hausa, despite the fact that they are Christians and dont speak hausa. A lot of Tivs are in my hometown doing menial jobs. Everybody calls them Hausas, they tried their best to tell people that they are not Hausa to no avail, now they gladly answer it anyday. Did that change the fact that they are not Hausa?

It's people from afar that will call the TIVS Hausa. The Idomas and people around them wouldn't call them that. Now the question is, what do Urhobos/Isokos, Edo people call Ika people?

If Jonathan dares supports Godsday Orubebe then he's spoiling for trouble as this is the turn of Ndi Anioma. As for Great Ogboru, this is the wrongest time for him to contest.

Allohrandy: I doubt uduaghan will allow her replace him. Politics is all about interest and I don't think it is in
uduaghan best interest for her to become governor.

I suspect that Uduaghan will present his deputy if he wants to honour the governorship rotation. But i don't think that deputy governor is good enough. I've heard him speak and i don't think he's up to scratch. If Iweala decides to contest, she'll definitely have backing from Abuja and Uduaghan will have to respect that.

Sec5: Ngozi is not a Deltan,so she cannot contest guber election in that state.

She's from Delta while her husband is from Abia.

Has she indicated interest in being the Governor of Delta state? I think she's more than qualified but could see the office as a demotion.

But on a second thought, i think Ngige and those around him are 1diots. As a governorship candidate, it's advisable that you try as much as possible not to step on people's toes as it may come back to hunt you. Even if there's no rule prohibiting anyone from conducting a campaign on a day set aside for the Ofala festival, common sense should tell Ngige that he should move his event to a later date and even attend the festival and pay homage to the Obi of Onitsha. That's what smart politicians do. He should not take actions that will be counter-productive as people especially from this part of the world are very traditional. This is similar to when he came out to speak about the deportation saga which he shouldn't have spoken about whether what he said was wrong or right. people should be wise when playing politics.

I don't play partisan politics and there's no reason why i will favour Ngige over any other candidate as i have been more critical of APC even more than the most hated party in Africa(PDP). I'm only trying to understand if there's a rule that says that no one can host an event on an ofala festival day. I'm saying this because i believe that since Igwe Achebe has a soft spot for Peter Obi and has invariably endorsed Obiano, that he's just using Ngige as a scape goat.

i don't know if it's a normal or a medical problem because there are people that just have to sleep even if the journey is just a stone throw. me think most people that sleep like that do very hard work and are probably stressed.
