The guy brought something to the relationship, his swag and accent. Isn't that something? |
I think i'll just play safe with MI. |
I don't even know the names of 70% of our players by just seeing their faces. Who's that Albino? |
Bleh lie lie |
uboma:I really nee to investigate this issue. Please send me 20 of those notes so that i can evaluate and compare them properly. |
Nigeria seems to be the only country in the world that is not serious about developing itself. All we have as achievement since we gained independence is tribalism and corruption and even more corruption. Even the poorest countries in Africa are trying to better themselves but with all our resources and human capital, our leaders are looking for how they can tweak the system to favour their pockets. |
Florblu:Thieves are thieves whether in uer or danfo. Is it not the same danfo that is being used by most one chance kidnappers. The good thing about Uber is that despite the fact that even criminals can have access to the platform, they can be caught easily. |
Laudate has to tell us where the hate for Igbos started. I've never seen anyone as vociferous and violent in the way he hates anything Igbo. Check any thread that has Igbo in it and this guy goes all out. When he can't comment he laughs at other anti-Igbo comments. I'll really like to meet people like this in real life to ascertain whether their hate is genuine or just an online facade. |
I never even knew they had a mail service. I don't understand why online companies still bother to have an email application, when they can't obviously compete with GMAIL and Yahoo. |
The most scary thing that i have ever witnessed was when i was probably around 7 years old in a village called Elimgbu in the outskirts of porthacourt. The village is divided by a road that leads to the airport at Omagwa...So, we were playing football in front of an Asemblies of God church and the ball made it's way to the road and one of us made an attempt to go pick it from the road and he was hit by a speeding vehicle and he died on the spot. His mom was on the other side of road feeling pity for the child that just got hit without realizing that it was her child. The boy's name was "Avis" or "Elvis". Another scary ish happened in 2002 when i was at my house on Allen Avenue and heard a very loud sound on the roof. "Who is playing ball on the roof", i said to myself. It happened again and again and it caused a lot of panic. Only for us to turn on the TV or is it radio and heard the then governor of Lagos state telling people not to panic. Nibo? We zoomed off towards Lagos-Ibadan expressway but while on our way, we saw the scariest thing ever. Nigerians of all creed and tribes were running and begging people to please carry them in their cars. A woman was telling us to just carry her child while she waits for her fate. it was really scary and as we got to Lagos-Ibadan, there were tons of cars parked by the road side waiting fr the next course of action. That day was scary. The third one happened when i was serving at Mmahu community in Ohaji/Egbema in Imo state. My girlfriend wasn't feeling too well, so on the advise of another corper, i have her * (can't remember the name of the drug) which she took and started vomiting uncontrollably. We had to take her to the maternity hospital in the village and after she was attended to, we had to come back for a few more days. Now, on one of the subsequent days, we went to the hospital in the evening and as we entered, the entire place was like a grave yard. On entering, we saw a little child laying on the bare floor. On getting to the counter, i heard the mother of the child, some of her people and the nurses conversing in Igbo and i learned that the chid had dad. The mother had to back her dead child and walk to the mortuary. |
UrennaNkoli:Only you? |
JESU CHRISTI This guy has taken his lies to a whole different level. |
If i had a reasonable amount of money, i wold have probably become a distributor of this TSTV because it seems like the latest cash cow. Seun, abeg borrow me some money. I will pay you back. |
Which of the churches in Lagos has the best social scene where someone can socialize? I mean where there are a lot of young people? |
How's he an Anambra vigilante and if he is, what's he invigilating in rivers state instead of Anambra. |
PointB:Can you expatiate on the emboldened because i feel this Ohanaeze ndigbo led by Nnia Nwodo has been the most vociferous in defending Ndigbo to the point that they even defended IPOB on some occasions. I think this is the best so far. |
Some questions just make my belly turn. It just shows that we're all not on the same level culturally and socially. |
Truckpusher:So, are you saying that it's because you saw her with some substance that your eye opened? Is that really how it works? if it's really a spell, only a spiritual intervention would deliver one from it. |
I have a feeling that this is Onila. There's nothing wrong with your breasts. Not everybody will have a gargantuan b00bs. |
Javanian:I downloaded it because of the great reviews that i've read about it. I know it's gonna be great. I just need to summon courage to watch it. The same thing happened when i started "breaking Bad" without realizing that's it's in my top 5 series of all time. |
Develpeast:Unfortunately, we don't have the kind of leaders that can make these changes and the reason is because we don't have the electorate that will demand these things. Like i said, our best brains are outside the south east and only if they move to the SE, will they challenge the current status quo and make our governors to sit up. Most of us outside the SE don't even see the SE as a place where we will end up. Rather we see it as our ancestral home where we visit every one in a while and that's the sad reality. |
Javanian:I've watched Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul. As for "The Wire", i have it on my computer but whenever i start watching it, it looks old. I'll give it a try one of these days. |
schboy3:1. They brought in Javi because he knew some members of the cartel on a personal basis which is the reason he was sent back to the US in season one. So, they brought him back as someone who has had dealings with the cartel. 2. I don't understand 3. They wanted to get the cartel and not the government official and din't know Javi would go too far. 4. They mentioned before the start of every episode that they added salt and maggi to the original story. Btw, we don't know thw his son died or not. Being shot and being dead are two different things. |
I just finished Narcos S1 to S3. It's a pretty good series. I think crime stories may just be my favorite kind of TV shows. I need suggestions on other dope shows that i can start watching. |
Develpeast:Thanks for taking out time to create this thread. This is the type of threads that i've been clamoring for well meaning Igbos to create so that we can discuss our problems and how to surmount them instead of always dwelling on mundane issues. The problem with Igboland is multi-faceted. We have the same problems that other cities in Nigeria have but more importantly, we have our own problems which in my opinion is as a result of being totally abandoned by the federal government. There's a reason why way more people move from Enugu to Kaduna, Anambra to Kano, Abia to Ibadan than vice versa. I'm not even going to mention Lagos and Abuja. The reason being that only places that the FG wants to succeed will succeed. The reason why more commercial and insustrial activity happens in the places i mentioned is because there's an enabler which was made possible by the FG. We don't have those enablers in Igboland. Atleast not to the extent of those other places. I think it behooves on our governors to actually create the enabling environment for every kind of business to thrive in Igboland. The absence of these enablers is why our best brains within Nigeria are either in Lagos and Abuja. Even our traditional rulers dont even live in their communities or even their states. You see them in places such as Porthacourt, Lagos and Abuja. |
moscobabs:Did you miss the Independence Era part? |
I think i need to run a STEALING 101 course for thieves and prospective thieves. |
Tolexander:Can't you see that the thing played safe ![]() |
Tolexander:I wish hhe had considered going to bigger teams after his stint at PSG. I think Okocha just loved playing football and didn't care much about the monetary aspect or the fame. |
Those that are saying Psquare should be removed are high. |
LOGISTICS10:Have you seen the latest? |
PhilipGallagher:A few years ago, one told me she was going to slap me. Imagine. person see grown as man like me say im go slap me. |

These 3 are easily the greatest TV series of all time, don't take my word for it, check the ratings. If you are gonna go with them, then you have to be very patient, they all start off kind of slow but it's totally worth it, so pay attention at the beginning even when it sounds boring.
, and they still qave aqent javi a free hand??
