I be think sey Kalu be your man? He was never my man but i respected him like i would do most Igbo leaders, even the thieves among them. The moment you use Igbo to pa (like Yorubas say), you're nothing but an idiot to me. Him and Rochas are one and the same. Denigrating their people for cheap fame. |

BlowJobs: Stay away from baby mamas especially with multiple baby daddies, those guys will always be in her life. Mind you, if you're single, decent guy and hard working, they will do everything in their power to hold you down. Some will go as far as getting loan for you, enticing you with money, giving you rides up and down to where you wanna go (if you don't have a car yet) until they hook you.
Stay away from ill tempered ladies. Small argument, they start threatening to stab you
Stay away from the "get out of my house ladies". Doesn't matter if you rent the house together. Simple misunderstanding, the first thing they say is get out. Yankee can be really really tough without accommodation
Stay away from "I will call the police on you" ladies. Doesn't matter what you guys are arguing about. they treating you with police every time. you as an immigrant want the police off your back for whatever reason. it doesn't always end well.
Stay away from ladies that can't keep a job. those type just want a guy they can leech off. you will work and work till the rest of your life. they are the real definition of "baboon dey work, monkey dey chop". mind you, if this is your wife and it is your arrangement for her not to work, well, that is your decision.
Stay away from Women that will marry you just to keep you hostage. These category only want a man in their house so they can boast to friends they got a man. When it comes to filing your papers, their answer is ALWAYS NO, then they result to claiming you just want to use them for papers.
Stay away from lairs, the ones that will injure herself and tell people you did it (especially white women). As a black man, you are always guilty before proven innocent. It is best you stay away from trouble as much as you can.
Stay away from over jealous Women. This type of women are controlling. If you by mistake say hello to another girl, a simple "hello", they accuse you of wanting to sleep with her. this particular category will blackmail you with tears. a lot of them are really abusive.
Generally, you need to find what works for you. doesn't matter the race. Find a partner you know through thick and thin, come rain or shine, He/She has your back. And you also need to play your part. Be a good ambassador, no need to lie to anyone for green card. Be truthful from the onset. Telling a lie means you will need to tell more to cover your track. You also need to stay in your boundaries, you are seeing one girl, sleeping with several others. that will get you in trouble. Be smart, be wise, be humble, be diligent, be respectful. You need to understand your partner will be from a different upbringing and most likely will have a different perspective. so, you both will understand things differently and do things differently.
Oh about the baby mama, Sometimes, a lot of them are victims of bad relationship. you need to also use your discretion. Some of them are really awesome ladies.
And last but not the least, stay the fakk away from impregnating anyone if you know you are not gonna be committed. Better still, say the fakk away from impregnating anyone at all. You should have just told us to stay away from women altogether |

Pidgin2 has definitely gone to recruit her fellow people who have been constantly rejected by Walter Carrington.
There's really no need to lie to ourselves.
While America is no bed of roses, someone doing menial jobs in America will definitely be well of than a regular banker in Nigeria even if the persona doing menial jobs spends his entire money in the US.
The fact that after paying taxes, one can get uninterrupted power supply, good roads, great food is enough to discountenance whatever arguments you have. In America, the dream is not necessarily to own a house there but to live a comfortable above average life. Here in Nigeria, the dream is to build a house, whether in Sango Ota, Mowe or one obscure village where you will probably be kidnapped, robbed or killed.
Let's not kid ourselves, really. |

HopeAtHand: Ikwerre share similar names with Igbos. I'm 100% certain my native name is shared in every state in the SE. Sharing same name is our similarity. One of the differences btwn Ikwerre and Igbo is character. There are things Ikwerres will not do because it is improper and we are people from well mannered and cultured society. In Igboland, making money or attaining wealth and relevance by any means possible is culture.
That old man is already in his closing stages, there is obviously no future in that marriage. And because there is no future in the marriage, I can safely arrive at the conclusion that the major reason for her marriage to that man is whats in it for her and never out of love (@Truckpusher ) or affection. You can bank on this.
We all know that between Ikwerres and Igbos the only people that will ever think of giving their daughter out in marriage on this circumstance are the Igbos. This Ijeoma is an Igbo woman, I can dig her info out in a matter of days if anyone is in doubt.
@Proudlyngwa, one of my best Igbo Nlander. I greet you.

Politics › Re: Why Buhari Will Still Win 2019 Presidency - Axelrod by Afam4eva(m): 9:26am On Oct 26, 2017 |
Axelrod: The truth of the matter; it is easier for this poster to be President by 2019 than for the South to vote out President Buhari, should he decide to contest. Hold on, I know you don't share my position and want to attack me now. But can you set emotions aside so we face reality?
-Now, President Muhammadu Buhari is highly revered in the North. Most Northerners, particularly, the Muslims who hold the majority in terms of population see him as their Messiah and will vote for his obituary poster(pun intended here). In that case, Buhari on a wheel chair will still win in the entire.
- In the South, he has allies who will rather die than not support him, even if he were on a sick bed. These persons include; Rochas Okorocha, Governor of Imo State, Rotimi Amaechi, Babatunde Fashola, Ibikunle Amosun, Chris Ngige, Fayemi Kayode, et al.
With those people, Buhari will get the needed votes from the South (he may not necessarily win the South). If you check, I did not mention Tinubu nor Obasanjo. That was on purpose. Because, in some quarters, people believe that Tinubu has fallen out of favours from the President and as such ''may'' not support him by 2019.
So you see! It is almost impossible to vote out Buhari and he, just like his supporters, like Sarrki, Cleverly, Hungerbad, Omenka, Mynd44(no ban me o, I get right to talk o) and others know this. Hence, they keep shouting, Buhari till 2023.
Let the bashing begin! While i agree with your prelude, i think the crux of your argument does not hold water. Despite Buhari's God like status in the north, how come he couldn't win the election in the previous times that he contested? It's mainly due to the fact that most of his votes came from the core northern states and he couldn't get the middle-belt votes as well as the south-west votes which he got this time around. That's exactly what changed. And the reason he was voted by these regions was because of the influence of Tinubu and the APC machinery in the south-west. For the middle-belt, they just joined the bandwagon of changed because they really suffered in the hands of their PDP reps. This time around, Buhari will really find it tough because we all know that the SE and SS will not vote for Buhari. He may not even win Edo state which is the only APC state in the region. A lot of people in the SW have also become disenchanted with his rulership even though some may try to hide it. It's the same story in the middle-belt. The only way Buhari will win the 2019 election is if PDP or any opposition do not present a popular candidate. I think at the point, it's PDP's election to lose because Buhari's presidency is the worse ever in the history of Nigeria. He makes Jonathan look like a demi God. Let's also not rule out the springing up of a new political merger towards 2019. |

Despite his shortcomings (we all have shortcomings), i think it's interesting that he's getting involved in the political process. I think the Nigeria political atmosphere is really a unique one and is quite tough for someone to remain stagnant as far as political alignments are concerned. |

MackyNaija: So much for a computer scientist! Imaging what you will pass through to catch up here in a masters program if you haven't been building the skills on your own.
Anyway, we are very good at surviving so you will pull through when the time comes. It's the same story for most (if not all) universities in Nigeria. What serious computer science students do is t take IT courses in places like NIIT, APTECH and New Horizon to get grounded in programming languages, databases and networking. if you rely on what you learn in a Nigerian university as far as computer science goes, you're no better than a gala seller (no offense). |
