PoliticsI Agree With Elrufai That Unequals Should Not Be Treated Equally - Afam4eva by Afam4eva(op): 10:59am On Oct 12, 2017
I think every right thinking human should actually agree with this premise that El Rufai posited because i think it's the way to go and that is what countries like the US have imbibed and this has made them what they are today.

However, i think El Rufai is either ignorant or drunk with tomfoolery to the point that he may not even understand the implication of his own statement. It is my duty to make some assertions based on the reality on ground and for the benefit of this post, i will be doing so by comparing the North and South.

The Southern part of Nigeria is head and above the north as it relates to Education, so there shouldn't be any such thing as federal character in the admission of students because only those who are more brilliant should be admitted after we're not all equal.

Still based on our advantage in education, the south should be heading most government institutions and people with good educational backgrounds should be at the helm not career politicians.

The south provides over 90% of the resources that sustains the country and as such, should actually take bulk of the proceeds of these resources, afteral unequals cannot be equal.

Let's even assume that the north is more populous and we are aware that it has more land than the south. Does this mean that the resources from another part of the country should be used to massage their overbloated self worth?

The only premise that agrees with the statement is the fact that not all states or regions are equal and as such, every constituent units should be allowed to develop based on the resources at the disposal. The north should focus on farming and areas where it has it's strengths while the south does the same thing. Only then shall unequals not be equal.

These IPOB people are actually moronic and idiotic like people are saying. If you fight everybody, who will support you to actualize your dream. How can you be attacking an Nnia Nwodo that has been one of the few pro-IPOB leaders in Igboland. he has fought tooth and nail to see that people see IPOB in a different light bu the illiterates among them cannot just shut the F up.

RUSSIA 2018 WCQ UPDATE:

USA have just missed out of World Cup qualification for the first time since 1986, after losing to Trinidad & Tobago. They barely fell short of the play-off spot after finishing 5th on the North & Central American qualifiers table.

I remember when Klinsmann was gunning for foreign-borns. Some section of American's kicked against it. They fired Klinsmann, and now their sentiments have paid off.
America is one of the teams that i like seeing at the world cup. They add spice to the mundial. I'm also happy that Argentina finally qualified.
TravelRe: I'm Hiv Positive, Can I Immigrate To Canada? by Afam4eva(m): 5:19am On Oct 11, 2017
Here's what i curled up as it pertains to being HIV positive and emigrating to Canada:

1.1 Medical examination

All applicants for permanent residency in Canada over 15 years of age are required to undergo an immigration medical examination, including an HIV test.

A positive HIV test result can make it difficult for a person to immigrate permanently to Canada. Essentially, while Canadian laws and policies don’t mention HIV specifically, they do allow for an application to be refused on the grounds of medical inadmissibility.

The refusal of permanent residency on medical grounds can be justified by one of the following two criteria:

The person’s health condition is deemed to represent “a danger to the health or safety of the public.” However, immigration authorities no longer apply this designation to people living with HIV.1
The person is determined to represent “excessive demands on health or social services” in Canada.
This consideration of the risk of “excessive demand” doesn’t apply in the following circumstances:

If you’ve applied as a refugee.
If you have been sponsored as the spouse or dependent child of a Canadian citizen or permanent resident.

Consequently, in those two situations, being HIV positive would not be an obstacle to your application for permanent residency. However, you would have to sign a document authorizing immigration authorities to inform your sponsor and/or partner living in Canada of your HIV positive status. If you refused to disclose to your sponsor and/or partner living in Canada, you would then be required to withdraw your request for permanent residency.

The difference is that Ben Bruce before becoming a senator had a thriving business which means that he understands the economics of making money. So, he has common sense after all.

Oliseh is currently the coach of Dutch second division side Fortuna Sittard. They are second on the log and doing very well. There is a good chance that he'll be coaching in the Eredivisie next season.
Troost wasn't good enough. Why will you blame a coach if he has better options?
I guess his better options did well for the Nigerian team, no wonder he was sacked.

Abagworo:
The thing is that Igbos have one weakness which Rochas Okorocha might have overcome via interaction. Igbos are generally not as politically strategic as Okorocha and kind of think too straight to understand the implication of their actions. Okorocha told Igbos to leave Jonathan and become one of the owners of APC because he was sure that APC must win 2015 which some fools are still yet to come to terms with reality. Buhari is sure returning 2019 and some fools might want to deceive Igbos again into believing any Nigerian alive can win Buhari. If they do it again it's not Okorocha's fault.
Okorocha cannot tell over 30 million people to leave Jonathan and follow Buhari. He is not the smartest Igbo man alive and cannot be smarter than every Igbo man. he made his choice with Buhari, he should also allow every Igbo person make their own choice. it's a democracy and we're free to frolic with whoever we so choose. We won't leave our political leanings just because Rochas says so. For you to think that's enough reason to insult Igbos then he surely deserves all the insults that have come his way. We could care less if Buhari rules Nigeria till thy kingdom come. We don't like him, we don't like him. We're ready to face the consequences, which we're already facing anyways.

Yorubas are the Masters when it comes to table tennis in Nigeria and Africa at large... Only the Egyptians are competing with us... Many of our Athletes have represented Nigeria in the Olympic games and won many laurels for Nigeria both at the common wealth and the All African games.
Without trying to downplay the emboldened, as far as i know, other parts of Nigeria are not really into table tennis, especially professionally. So, it's really not a competition as mostly Yorubas, who tend to be rounded in their knowledge of sports are really into playing tennis professionally. It's just like how you compare a Yoruba and Igbo party without realizing that it's not a contest as Yorubas are party people. The best tennis players i have encountered personally in Lagos are Yorubas.

Pictures tell a thousand stories. I know those pictures have silenced you. Indeed, Rochas is trying but I have three issues with him:

1. He doesn't defend his people (Igbos) when it matters the most. Yes, instead of telling Buhari outright that he's not doing anything for the Igbos, he would rather blame the Igbos for not voting for Buhari. That trait mirrors a sellout!

2. He concentrates his developmental efforts only in Owerri alone, leaving other parts of the state to rot.

3. Just like many other politicians, Rochas is a very insincere person. Yes, he is a con artist.
I think you're an objective person because these are the exact problems i ave with him, especially the first one. No matter what you've done, if you cannot respect and defend your people, you're absolutely nothing in my eyes.

There is nothing stupid about the op's question as many people today find themselves in such dilemma. I was doing it until I realized this shiit will land me in problem. Imagine a guy that was already tired of his wife and wants a way out - He'll use it as an avenue to get a divorce claiming infidelity on her part after all you'll tell the people what manner of business that you've been doing with an ex to send you money especially if a wire transfer was made as usually with most cases. This show of shame isn't just peculiar to ladies alone even guys go around begging their ex that are married to rich guys for money . It's a shame , a big shame .
I'm not discounting the fact that these things happen. I'm only concerned about what kind of responding the OP is expecting other than the fact that it's wrong. There's no two ways about it. What is wrong is wrong and we mustn't always draw grey areas but there aren't.

another disappointing comment. I didn't see you saying this when we whooped Cameroon last month, you said nothing when we won this Zambian team in their own home.

You forget than Italy drew Macedonia in their own home just last week, does that make the Italian team weak? Portugal struggled against Andorra, are they weak? And need I once again remind you about Argentina that had failed to win their last 3 games both home and away?

You cannot judge a team like that, you need to intimate yourself on Rohr's team because your comments so far signify that you are not very current as far as Nigerian football goes. I would advise you to visit our thread and help yourself.
I think you may be right. I've not been following the team like i used to. My judgement is based on what i saw yesterday which is the first time i'm watching a SE match in a while and while i agree that i may not have been following their progression, i think it was imperative that i highlighted areas that i thought were lacking. The fact that Italy or Portugal or even Argentina are fumbling is not much of a concern to me, Nigeria is my country and SE, my team and i'm more concerned about their fitness for the world cup. We have a good team, no doubt, atleast according to African standards but to make an impact at the world level, we need to up our ante which is what i'm calling for.

Mr convincingly - as if Zambia came to get beat Group of Death:13 points. Qualified with a game to go. First in Africa. The team is not perfect but credit is due for the feat achieved.
I have given them the credit that they deserve but now is the time to look at the team holistically and proffer solutions on how to make them better which is what i'm doing. Just imagine if we had lost to Gambian playing the same way that won us the game, we all would have been calling for the head of everyone but because we won, let's just forget the lapses of the team and celebrate until we get a rude awakening like we always do then that's when we will start sacking coaches and looking for a foreign/local coach.

The topic is really funny...

People who fail to do their due diligence are bound to have problems in the long run. This is a lady you hadn't met physically but fell in love with her on facebook. I'm beginning to agree with Pastor Adeboye when he said that "If you meet your wife on facebook, it will crash on youtube" or something along those lines. Meeting someone on social media still requires that you meet them physically before making any kind of commitment with them.

As far as her having saggy breasts, i think it's not so much of a big deal but if you think it is, i don't think asking her about her past will make the b00bs to grow back. Whatever may have happened in the past that contributed to the downward trajectory of her b00bs is a thing of the past. Make your decision as it relates to her present reality. If it's too big a deal for yout= then leave her alone and go find someone with a mor e healthy mammary gland.
FamilyRe: The Wrong Perception Of African Women About Marriage. by Afam4eva(m): 10:53am On Oct 08, 2017
NiggaBoi:
I acknowledge that it's a general ideal that the woman is subservient to man almost throughout the world. But wouldn't the purpose of getting an education be defeated if every female were to choose marriage over a potential glowing career? Why then should they go through the rigors of getting an education in the first place?
A lot of women have become educated and are pulling their weight just as much as men are, so it's their prerogative of an individual basis to decide what they want to do with their life. Contrary to feminist shenanigans, women are more likely to want to be subservient and cared for. This maybe due to either their nature or a learned skill from patriarchy. Even here in Nigeria, a lot of women who are highly educated are not afraid to leave a career they would have had in a heartbeat for marriage. While some others will pursue career to the detriment of marriage and family. it's a case of personal choice and we should allow people to make their life choices.

One thing i noticed with Nigerians is whenever we win a match, whether we managed to do so or not, we just forget our lapses and keep deceiving ourselves until when we're embarrassed before our eyes will open to the reality. I understand that we have some players such as Moses, Mikel and few others who stand out from time to time but the team as a whole is average at best. If we cannot convincingly win against a Zambian side on our own home turf then there's a problem.
