Yes, the normal bank statement they send to your email if it is more than 1 year. In your LOE, make sure you emphasize it is an e-statement before they say it is fake.
Okay, thanks

Be patient about it. Another thing, I will advise you to add your online statement account. An ongoing applicant pre-assessment note show they had difificultly accessing MBS portal to verify the account.
Thank you very much for the heads up. Do you mean the normal bank statement I can download via internet banking.? The pages are too many, I've already passed the 2MB upload limit without it, still trying to reduce file size without compromising quality.

I did. Nothing is there. I think they are having issues with MBS generally, I mailed and called the customer care too but they are not even sure of what's going on.

The only thing delaying the submission of my application is GTB MBS. I requested for MBS via GTB Internet Banking since almost 48hours ago, the service charge of #1300 thereabouts was deducted immediately but up till now, I haven't gotten any mail or ticket ID to include in my application. Please, anyone used GTB MBS lately, how long did it take? What can I do.?

Na immigrants from great footballing nations plenty for their national team...Their citizens are only good at ice hockey
I agree with you! But is that not the same thing France is doing to be relevant in Football.? Almost 90% of the French national team at any point in time, have been traced to have fresh immigrant roots. They'll get there too, with time.

100% agree. Best option for anyone that has the money to pay for it, for these reasons:

1. The time spent in Canada starts counting somewhat towards citizenship.
2. There is also the possibility of more pathways for temporary residents e.g. TR2PR type schemes
3. When FSW reopens you could also still benefit from that (assuming you are already in the pool) and at completion, your Canadian degree should augment your CRS even further.
4. PNP options for graduating from a Uni in a Province or for living in a Province.

....so nothing lost IMO. Shoot your shot!

Best.
Well Said! Thank you very much. Patiently waiting to see your PPR gist wink

I was finally able to pay my application fee today, and on clicking submit I was notified that the program was close for fall intake. The program I applied for is Computer Application Development, I have a Bsc Physics. Does anyone have an idea if it’s okay for me to apply for IT infrastructure program with my background in physics? The school I’m applying to is Conestoga college.
Yes, it's very okay, physics is classified as a physical science course in most, if not all institutions. So you're good to go. I have a BSc Mathematics and I'm going for Information Technology Infrastructure as well.

Hope you re going for an advanced degree (masters or PhD) and have also explored all PNP options . The reason I'm asking is:
1. Study route is expensive and will be cheaper if you first secure a PR as you will pay domestic fees and not international student fees.
2. Undergrads in canada struggle to get PR. They usually dont have enough points to compete in the FSW pool
Thank you very much for the pointers.

Yeah, study route is expensive but seem to be the surest way to get out of this country this year, not ready to wait another year. Yes, I'm going for an advanced degree (PGC). I have no choice, already paid my tuition @ international student rate... There are a few other options to PR once one lands via study route, a lot easier from there.. Thanks again.

Yeah, you're allowed to write down your answers in your question paper, then you'll be given some time after the whole recording has been played, to transfer your answers to the answer sheet.

Wish you success in your test.

Good morning all,

I’m in the process of submitting my study visa application and need your kind input on these confusing issues;

- I intend to travel with my kids who are US citizens, since they don’t need a visa to get to Canada, so I need to add them to my application?
- I stated in my SOP that I’m traveling with them, but won’t be submitting an application for them because they don’t need a visa, will the VO have an issue with this?
- Children whose parents have a study permit are allowed to study without a study permit, but where they need one, can it be gotten at the airport?

Thanks in advance for your contribution.
1. Since your kids are US citizens, they don't need a visa to get to Canada but they are dependent on you, so you have to talk about your plans or arrangement for them, in your case, they are going to Canada with you which is fine, so just ensure you show enough funds in your application to show that you can care for each of them while studying in Canada without going above your 20hrs/week work schedule.

2. The VO shouldn't have any issue with this, you should attach their birth certificates and US passports to your application. When the VO read your SOP and sees their passport, they already know you're good to go.

3. Your first statement is very valid, as long as they are minor. So they won't even need one.

Cheers!!!

I booked a medical appointment at IOM and I wanted to transfer the slot to my wife for upfront medicals because I already got another appointment at Q-life. I sent them an email to this effect and they said it is not possible to swap appointments. Has anyone every swapped appointments successfully under IOM?

Can we ignore their email and show up on the appointment date?
People swap their medical appointment with random strangers they don't even know, how much more someone that's your better half, your wife.? Have you forgotten you and your wife are now one.? You don't even need to send them that email, just go there with her and let her have your slot... No issues!

Just few weeks ago, some also ambushed a bullion van in Ibadan at a commercial location surrounded by Police barrack and Area command, yet no security operatives came to the scene until they left. Same thing happening here, robbing so many Banks simultaneously. Nigeria as a whole, is a failed village!!! Imagine people successfully engaging in high profile Armed robbery in 21st century.

Does this mean I will have to start again or I can just add more money to my accounthuh? I am just confused.
Gurus in the building, please advise me
Add more money to the account, that will be sufficient for disbursement, i paid $9292 CAD yesterday which was converted to $7464 USD @ 419/$, that should give you an estimate of what amount you should fund your account with. Also, click on help on the website to see the process for form A amendment and contact your bank, that way your submission will be reviewed, no need to start over again.

I guess you uploaded your passport when your submission has been reviewed already (i.e. passport details wasn't available when AdB reviewer was reviewing), there is a form A amendment process on the site, click on help to locate it, it'll show you how to amend the form for reconsideration.

Hello good evening, please I have a serious confusing problem. I recently got admission into Fanshawe college to study international business management, a graduate certificate program. However a friend, whose we both got the same offer, recently changed to PSW (Personal Support Worker), and advices me to do same as this is more suitable for easier post graduate work permit and offers more potential job opportunities. I was considering doing this change until another friend advised me not to, as I shouldn’t pay such huge amount on such a course (PSW) . What do you advice please? Is PSW a good program and do you advice I change from IBM to PSW?
You don't have a problem, in my opinion. Your previous education/work experience should determine what course you'll use to apply for your Study permit. The fact that your friend switched to PSW doesn't mean the same program will suit your own application. About the PGWP, you can't decide which one gets more job opportunities based on hearsay. I personally think you should go with your initial course, especially if it shows career progression, that's more important to get your SP at this point. BTW, also going to Fanshawe, an IT course though. All the best!

You can just try your luck by remarking writing. But since you already said you didn't prepare well, the remarking may not change anything but you've not got much to lose by trying.

Alternatively you can re-register and prepare well. Aim for the highest band this time, not just 8777. You can DM me your writing samples when you're preparing so that I'd point out any errors you might be making.
Thank you very much, I really appreciate. I'll opt-in for a remark and see how it goes. If it comes out positively, I'd just hold on with IELTS for now since 8777 will give me a reasonable CRS. But if it's negative or if FSW resumes early and the cutoff is higher than envisaged in the first draw, I'd rewrite it asap. Thanks

Btw, have you seen or heard of anyone who request for remark and the result came out even lower.?
