Edopesin:
I heard from Abaranje in ikotun my guy, a pipeline has exploded in this area and it is no where near the one I heard this morning
Exactly. It cannot be an oil pipeline.
PoliticsRe: NEMA: Lagos explosion not caused by oil pipeline vandalism by AfroKnight: 12:51pm On Mar 15, 2020
This is consistent with the reports on twitter. People in different areas in Lagos mainland heard the explosion and felt the shockwaves. A oil pipeline explosion is not that powerful (from past experiences) to reach Mushin, oshodi and ipaja all the way from festac.

It is definitely something else. The combustion rate was way too rapid.

Hmmm, I underrated your foolishness and stupidity. Now I see how classical your daftness is. But unfortunately for you, pig, I won't play in the mud with you.
Lol. Apparently you must be embarrassed to reveal your clannish ignorance to the world. Next time don’t be too quick to expose your inadequacies. Olódo. cheesy

I hope you all can see how many resident feminists came out to condemn this behaviour.

Yeah.

They are avoiding this thread.

You see why you shouldn’t regard feminists? They only want equality when they stand to gain. Other than that, they expect men to be the bigger persons. Feminists are the champions of hypocrisy and double standards.

Sometimes, an initial part of a post makes sense... but there'll just be one stupid sentence that ruins everything, and then we start wondering... to like... or not like the post?
Sometimes, you think a monicker implies good sense, then she comments and you know it’s just another airhead.
RomanceRe: I Love Her But I Am Having A Second Thought About Settling Down With Her by AfroKnight: 1:24pm On Mar 14, 2020
You’re in love with an unstable character. She is conditioning you to take shît. Let me tell you something, you will NEVER be enough for her. You will always have to share her with other guys.

Convert her to a nakking partner while you commence your search for a correct babe.
RomanceRe: Friends Forever: A Female Black American Wants To Visit Me. Help!!! by AfroKnight:
Always land in Lagos if you’re in Nigeria for tourism. Start from there.

Things to do in Lagos:

- Visit Africa Shrine for original afrobeat washed down with some Nigerian beer. grin very important
- Take her to the beach with some of your friends. A private beach preferably.
- Freedom park Lagos Island, for live music. Check them on Instagram to see their special shows.
- Follow @nothingtodoinlagos on Instagram for events to attend.
- Visit Lekki Conservation Centre.

You go spend small sha. So plan your itinerary well.

CokeBar:
1. Going to the beach
- looking at Egungun but not following egungun to the express
- shouting "up Nepa"
- slapping agbero

2. How is that a problem of a tourist?? She can ask our tourism minister.

3. Ofcourse Lagos. Abuja isn't bad too.

But OP just like you typed it out here, you could have typed it on Google. smiley
That Egungun part is very important. grin
CrimeRe: How I Was Arrested By SARS In Owerri Yesterday For No Reason by AfroKnight: 12:25pm On Mar 14, 2020
Ryan03:
very true. Most Nigerians feel like gods once they wear any uniform (even man o'war), they feel they are better than every other person and are automatically above the law. Its a shame
A big shame. It’s a sad systematic conditioning.
CrimeRe: How I Was Arrested By SARS In Owerri Yesterday For No Reason by AfroKnight:
Sorry bro.

This is what happens when a country has endured military dictatorship for far too long. Every security agency with license to arrest would look down on and oppress the ordinary citizen. Even in Lekki, ordinary Man o War dey oppress okada man (back when Okada’s weren’t banned).

I wonder if there is a Lagosian who has not witnessed soldier brutality before. You overtake them, problem. You challenge them when they jump the queue at the ATM, they’ll attack you. The disdain is sown right from their training camp.

You should sue if your lawyer advices you to.

The high-handed attitude of officers doesn’t endear them to anyone. That’s why you see people cracking jokes and even rejoicing when officers are murdered or suffering.

Young man, the path you intend to take is fraught with premium woman wahala.

This new babe is aware of your relationship yet she wants to “te’ri si”, that is, she wants to chook head inside the matter.

You are probably not going to listen to reason so, Ride on. grin
PoliticsRe: Alaafin Writes Fayemi, Asks Him To Stop Actions Against Traditional Rulers by AfroKnight: 8:14am On Mar 14, 2020
Babinski:
Governors are not first citizens but rather first servants of the State. Bastardizing Traditional Institutions for the sake of politicians who are of not even epitomes of good citizen and supporting politicians to silence criticism is injurious to the society in the long run. In Nigeria we like absolute power and unsurprisingly we are the worst people to entrust with such power!

How often do you see politicians in Britain and Japan messing with the Queen or Emperor for ego sake?
Absolute power belongs to kings not governors. And fortunately, that power has been taken away from them.

British and Japanese Royals always avoid confrontations. They are custodians of culture.

Your Nigerian king thinks himself a true king. Lol. But his salary and the perks of his position are determined by the state which is headed by the governor.

Why didn’t Emir Sanusi ignore the deposition? If he had power over his governor, he could just order the governor to leave the state. But the reverse is the case because that is the hierarchy.

Karac:
Bro seyi makinde wan die be that. No go play with all these men oo. They are orisas already. oba weh don spend 50 years on throne. The one in Ijebu have spent 60 years on that throne already. One gov will now come from know where, he wan die be dat. lol
Lol. That’s the extent of the king’s so called power. He can only go spiritual. He can’t enter the government house and chase the governor away, can he?

Kings avoid direct confrontations with their governors cos things can go south quickly.

Both kings and governors act a script for the sake of culture but a king knows where the power lies.

OgbeniSamm:
Lol, so you think Governor Seyi Makinde Is daft like you are? You better go home and ask your elders questions and let them explain to you who a first class Yoruba king is.
Only a dàft person would exalt a king above the first citizen of a state government, who determines and pays the king’s salary.

It appears your little education was a waste.

think I'm as needy as your motherhuh
Funny enough, what my mom needs now are better ways to enjoy her investments. grin

You, on the other hand, need to gather some alms to eat first before you could even think of saving or investing.

We know your type. You unwittingly exposed your “hustle”. You’re just one of those girls who cannot survive if she’s single, with no man paying her bills. Get a job. A real job.

PoliticsRe: Alaafin Writes Fayemi, Asks Him To Stop Actions Against Traditional Rulers by AfroKnight: 6:09am On Mar 14, 2020
EcoBrick:
You are talking nonsense. Fayemi at Ekiti cannot do such to an Alaafin whose domain is in Oyo State. Only Makinde (governor fo Oyo) can attempt such, but Makinde is too grounded as a Yoruba son of the soil to go that far under any circumstance.
Lol. If the Alaafin provokes Seyi Makinde to that point, he will be removed.

This letter is just advisory and there is no authority backing it. A king is an employee of the state government. He can be removed if he oversteps.

Nigerian health ministry is doing a good job. Just like they did during the Ebola scare. Well done guys.

etrange:
You guys noticed how they tried to be unclear regarding the PM's health? They didn't actually say he tested negative. They just said he doesn't have the symptoms and therefore will not be tested. Lol. We all know he must have been tested - that's the ideal thing- and if the result was negative, they would have made it public.

He doesn't have the virus and he is in "self isolation" in the same house with his wife who's got it?

He's working hard from home, really?

Ok.
They probably don’t want citizens to panic. I like the way you read what they didn’t want to write. Nice observation.
