Nairaland GeneralRe: My Experience With A Lady Today by AfroKnight: 8:50am On Nov 21, 2019
Bro, forgive me for laughing. It’s been a while since I’ve met a lady like this.

This lady writes like she has a mental problem. Even with all your explanation she still couldn’t have sense to understand.

She needs to see a therapist. Her problem is bigger than Bombay. grin
RomanceRe: Why Is She Acting Like This, Making Me Sad? [picture To Be Deleted Soon] by AfroKnight: 8:30am On Nov 21, 2019
OP, don’t wound yourself because of babe. She is gradually conditioning you to beg her and possibly pay for her attention.

Take it slow. If she acts like she needs space, give her plenty.

Once girls start their monosyllabic response nonsense, give them space and enjoy your life. Don’t let her “moods” bring you down. She is probably weighing her options and it appears you don’t weigh that much on her rubbish scale.

Don’t give yourself headache because of woman.

Exactly. You have said it all.

Inside life! Things are happening. The girl is the winner here. She got money, gifts and sex. I wouldn’t say you guys are the losers, but you are certainly not the winners.

Always Go with a lawyer and instruct them to do background checks.

Don’t buy land that is not free from government acquisition.

They didn’t even have stones. A weapon/projectile of any kind is proof of your commitment to violence.

The protesters had nothing of a sort.
PoliticsRe: Sule Lamido: Jonathan Compromised Bayelsa Poll To Avoid Malabu Oil Scam Probe by AfroKnight:
No past Head of State can be truly indicted in their life time. They are all saints to the new administration. It is a case of “do unto others as you’d have them do unto you.”

Jonathan is not afraid of any probe. Same as OBJ or IBB or Gowon. It appears there is an unwritten, unspoken immunity protecting them specifically.

Jonathan is the only bargaining chip Dasuki has but FG and the Judges will never give him the chance to put that chip in play. It won’t happen. They will put up smoke screens.

That’s why I was surprised Mama Peace forced herself into a lawsuit that was not designed to mention her name. The FG tried to steer the case away from her (taking away her loot in the process) but she wanted that money back so bad she broke the hedge of protection around her and had to be joined in the suit by declaring the money was hers.

We don’t touch our past heads of state. They are free from prosecution for as long as they are alive, it seems.

Corrupt Nation.
PoliticsRe: Amnesty International Declares Sowore, Bakare, Jalingo Prisoners Of Conscience by AfroKnight: 6:33am On Nov 21, 2019
You have justified undemocratic actions with such a flimsy excuse. You have not shown any proof that Sowore or any of the protesters armed themselves even with cutlass or broken bottles or that they have the capacity to forcefully overthrow the government. This only tells us that “revolution now” is just the title of a peaceful protest which is a fundamental right of Nigerians. No protester attacked the police.

The judge, though sympathetic to the FG, saw reason and had to grant bail grudgingly with outrageous terms which have been met. The DSS has now become a court unto itself interpreting the simple court order as they deem fit.

This government is bringing its might upon the heads of protesters. That is the long and short. If you protest, we will pin a charge of treason on you even though the DSS cannot prove that you had the arms and capacity to stage a coup.

festacman:
Disobeying court ruling is, no doubt, out of order in a democracy but no legitimate government would tolerate any kind of attempt to uproot it suddenly through Revolution. Every government is wary of Revolution because once it starts, nobody can predict its end result. Even a 'President' Yele Sowore if he had won the last presidential election would not have dealt TAMELY with anybody challenging the existence of his government. Some people who encountered him as a leader of Sahara Reporters Media Organization will attest to his strong character.

The reality is that Revolution is intrinsically undemocratic. It is basically a MOB ACTION against a legitimate government. It recognizes neither the Judiciary nor the Legislature in its bid to forcibly remove the Executive. It dangerously puts MOBOCRACY or ochlocracy above democracy. This is why in developed countries protest marches, sit-ins, and other forms of civil disobedience are more fashionable.

Experience has shown that any person or group of persons who are attempting to remove an established order or a government must first understand the psychology, clout and antecedents of people behind it vis-a-vis how much personal sacrifices to make or discomforts to take if the adventure goes awry. This will help in preparing for the worst while hoping for the best. I had expected Yele Sowore to have done this being an intelligent and analytical fellow.

Regardless, I join other Nigerians in advocating for his release on bail as ruled by court.
RomanceRe: But Why Will People Record Themselves Having Sex by AfroKnight: 1:03am On Nov 21, 2019
The excitement of risk. Very potent factor.

Once you record anything just forget it. One day, it will leak. That is if you don’t delete it immediately.

If you don’t want anything to go viral, don’t make records of it.

You think you’re smart. You are entertaining the attentions of 2 other guys and you have the guts to complain about your guy. Me, I don’t blame him. A couple of factors could cause this reaction from the gentleman.

He probably lost interest after you played hard to get like you’re Beyoncé.

He may find you boring, romantically.

Anyway, since you have his replacements, oya na, pick one and lock up.

Women will be enjoying the attention of 2 extra tyre guys hanging around them, but if na guy try that kind tin, they will call us players.
EducationRe: Leaked Sex Tape: Why Babcock University Reserves The Right To Expel Student by AfroKnight: 12:38am On Nov 21, 2019
Badgers14:
Ok.. let's discuss religion for a bit here...

Just like Jesus said in the book of Mark...

He without sin should cast the first stone.

To all ye throwing stones at this students, their action perhaps immoral but not illegal.

Remember Jesus said do not judge!!! Who are we to put on a moral compass when we are sinners.

Again, recall the students are adults, the video was leaked by someone else. The university cannot control the actions of their students.
I knew you’d come with the “do not judge” angle. It is one of the most misused lines from the gospel. “Do not judge“ is not a nullification of the role of Christians in correcting one another. It doesn’t say turn a blind eye to actions that negate the teachings of the Bible.

This short article best outlines my position on this topic of judgment:

She's a student of the institution. She has a contract with the institution which is for her to be awarded a degree after the completion of her studies provided she didn't break any stated rules of the institution.

If you can show me the institution's handbook (which is the official document that guides students' conduct) and it states it clearly or it can be inferred that a student having sex with a fellow student outside the school premises( as confirmed by the school authorities in their press release ) is prohibited; then maybe I will agree with the expulsion verdict.

Anything other than that is bullshiiit! The school has already dissociated itself from the video by staying clearly it was not done on premises in their press release.

The expulsion will not stand if the student wants to challenge it in court. But I'm sure if she does, hypocritical Nigerians will say she has no shame.
Lol. It is not about hypocrisy. Don’t get too emotional. It is about the brand of the school.

I actually wish you’d be able to sue Babcock for breach of contract so we can all have a good laugh, you and the judge included. grin

The entity taking the fall is the student not the university.

These are grown adults that there lives is being shattered... the university cannot control the actions of their adults student.. it is impossible..

Recall, neither the adults in the video released the video..
So you are telling me universities should expel any of their adult students having consensual sex??
Babcock is not every university. It was established by a religious organisation. If it were a secular/public university, the case would be different.

I don’t know the identity of the actors, you probably don’t know them either but we both know the school which has been trending all day and for an unwholesome reason. We know their school was established not only for secular education, but to promote religious values as well. This video negates the tenets of the religious organisation.

The school authorities did the responsible thing. They must distance themselves from this and be seen to take a firm stand against such conduct. It’s that simple.

It's indeed a laughable reason, sincerely. Like I control whatever tag a blogger wants to adopt on a news concerning me?

If a school management thinks this way, how will the students now think?
The entity taking the fall is the university. This is a religious institution that has it’s name/reputation smeared in pórnography.

If you cannot understand the need for punitive measures and attendant disclaimers, then that’s alright.

Is there a guy in this world that has not encountered a girl like this in his life?.. It simply has to do with the girl and not the NIGERIAN GIRLS shīt you guys keep forcing on others.
The context is Nigerian girls. You write like someone who shouldn’t be confused by that. If you feel battered by the frequency of this narrative, then you will know that it is indeed a valid topic for discussion.

It is the same way a politician would say the masses complain about bad governance too frequently. Or that women complain about inequality in sport remuneration. It is the same way African Americans complain about racism and police brutality. The frequency of the complaints tells you that these are real, valid issues to be addressed.

A Prevalent issue will find a voice - an insistent voice.

Davido as a student of the so-called morally upright school was always seen smoking, dancing in sexually suggestive manner in music videos and at a time his pictures with a particular lady on bed was leaked.

Why didn't the school claim reputational damage then?
Because headline says Davido smoked and danced with so and so. Not Babcock student caught doing so and so.
EducationRe: Leaked Sex Tape: Why Babcock University Reserves The Right To Expel Student by AfroKnight: 11:18pm On Nov 20, 2019
Thank you.

Nobody tagged the girl. How many people know her identity?

All we know is Babcock student’s sex tape leaked.

The school distanced itself from something it does not promote.

Even the school in its press release did not reveal the identities of the nackers.

The school saved her further embarrassment in my own opinion. Imagine if she returned to school after the leak. Omo she don turn celeb be dat.

it's not any bitter truth, someone that wants to please American and Caribbean women at any cause will most likely be going for slay queens. That's why they feel entitled .Normal Nigerian girls (and not those abnormal slay queens),are really appreciative and grateful. Guys pls go for NORMAL girls.
Oga which one is normal girl again?

Most Naija girls are materialistic and unapologetically so. What’s worse is many of them don’t even appreciate your care and thoughtfulness even when you overlook their materialism and splash some money on them.

Is there any guy that has not encountered girls like this in his adult life? Even those whom you think look decent would fall your hand once you mistakenly chyke them.

I heard there are good ones but where are they? Are they all married?

It’s emotionally exhausting to date girls who’s standards depend on the money of their boyfriends.

What I find curious is that most Nigerians don't even know that we have sand dunes like this in many areas of Yobe State, but will travel over several countries to go to Dubai to see sand and drive vehicles on sharp sand.

Secondly, I keep wondering if the Islam practiced in Dubai that makes the people to be productive is the same one we have in Nigeria especially in the North. embarassed
In Yobe? Never been there. I’d love to see that.

Forget him.

Why?

It is unfair for him to cease communication with you without stating or giving clear hints at the problem.

If he cannot even reply your message, please forget him. If you continue, you’ll only be irritating him. And trust me, you don’t want a guy to treat you like you’re an irritant.

This is assuming he is alive and well and of sound mind.
