All games they played in South Africa have been factored in. Every game played by every country till February 13, 2013 were used for the ranking. I will advise Nigerians to learn to read and research. The level of ignorance here is baffling. The criteria for the ranking is there and not meant to favor anybody. One needs to think through the ranking procedures and understand how this works. A lot of folks already knew that Nigeria would be 4th in Africa with 747 points even before the ranking came out today. FIFA makes it possible for anybody to calculate the total points for any country for the month even before the ranking is announced. It is there in the website. The ranking is not by emotions or sentiments. It is by Mathematical calculations that weighs a number of factors including, type of game played (Qualifier, friendly, Continental cup, world cup, etc), whether you win draw or tie. They also compute a lot of averages to arrive at final point for the month. That is how things are scientifically done especially in serious and advanced societies. Winning AFCON does not automatically push Nigeria to first position in Africa. I felt the urge to write this because despite the availabilty of internet resources, most Nigerians always take delight in proudly displaying their ignorance which some people accept as intelligent contribution. [/b] Thank you for the infor. I actually started with 'I think' which makes my post a hypothesis. I went further to explain what I thought. Thank goodness you have the right information. It doesn't warrant your disparaging everyone though. |

I think the influence of our win will be reflected in the March Ranking because the Feb ranking was based on January performances of the countries. You can agree with me that most of the countries above us now like CV, Mali and Ghana were still doing very well in the competition. We eliminated both Mali and CV in Feb. Ghana was also eliminated in Feb. |

seyi42k: This article is been eulogised now, I hope tomorrow when this same outfit brings up another unfavourable report you people will not turn back on them and start saying western agenda.
A Nigerian travelled from Kano to Lagos with horrible experiences and even interviewed other passengers and also took pictures.
Our collective psyche has been bullied into submission and that is why we will continue to manage and hail mediocrity. It was when my well-travelled bosses told me that Khartoum in Sudan (a desert mind you & at war) is far ahead of any city in Nigeria, that is when I knew we have celebrated this mediocrity for too long. But another said his boss now pays 80k for 19 containers as against 750k. Do You know what that can do to the price of cement? That's a whooping 89% reduction in transport cost. Hang on to your negativity. It won't hold Nigeria back. |

gbollykore: must he go to london, why cant they build the same type of hospital in Nigeria with all the money they are wasting around He should have flown back to Nigeria to be checked? Even SR said he is visiting countries. He watched Eagles Semifinals in Egypt 4 days ago which means he probably wasnt sick when he left. You expected him to come back from his trip before going to London? The same SR would've complained that he was waisting money flying around. About equipping the hospitals in Nigeria, What happened to infrastructure at the national hospital? I am not sure the president was supposed to manage the national hospital and prevent the decay of millions of dollars invested there. It is possible that the person giving info to SR was a CMD in that hospital. We have a part to play. When You pay someone to sit for Waec for your child and then contracts another to write JAMB for him in order to gain admission into medicine, pharmacy, MLS etc, then you proceed to make money available for her to sort her way through school or she makes use of what She has to pass, You do not expect so much confidence in the system. You have a part to play. |

tenny2007: I AM WRITING THIS REPLY TO ENLIGHT PEOPLE WHO INTEND TO OPEN COMMUNITY PHARMACY IN NIGERIA IS A GOOD BUSINESS DOMINATED BY IGBO BOYS BUT RECENTLY EVERYTHING HAVE CHANGE. I WILL START MY DISCUSSION WITH EDUCATION AND BUSINESS ASPECT OF PHARMACY IN NIGERIA. FIRSTLY OPENING A COMMUNITY PHARMACY IN NIGERIA INVOLVED REGISTRATION OF PREMISES WHICH ONLY CAN BE APPROVED BY PHARMACISTS COUNCIL OF NIGERIA NOT NAFDAC, NAFDAC HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH REGISTRATION OF PREMISES, THIS CAN ONLY BE DONE BY REGISTER PHARMACIST NOT PHARMACY TECHNICIAN AND LICENCE TO PRACTICE IS RENEW YEARLY, BECAUSE THE PREMISES MUST OBEY THE RULE SET OUT BY PHARMACISTS COUNCIL OF NIGERIA, AFTER THE REGISTRATION OF PREMISES, FOLLOWED BY VISITATION OF PREMISES FROM PCN, ENSURE PHARMACIST IS THEIR TO DISPENSE AND TO GIVE ADVISE. SECONDLY WHERE YOUR MEDICATION WILL BE PURCHASE IS OTHER PROBLEM CRAETED BY QUACK AND NIGERIA GOVERNMENT BUT THING HAVE CHANGE THIS PROBLEM CAN BE RESOLVED BY WHOLESALER WHICH THEY WILL APPROACH YOU IF YOU OPEN PHARMACY. ANY FURTHER QUESTION DO NOT HESITATE TO CONTACT ME Hopefully you are not a pharmacist |
