SillyeRabbit:They are saying, from where you got the 5m, simply tell the person to transfer to your account. Instead of receiving cash. |
SalamRushdie:The tax they'll pay before, will is it up to 1billion dollars? Moreover, the govt would have already gotten VAT from them. That in addition to the fine suffices. The govt must show that it can bite when it's instructions are flouted. |
Lanre4uonly:Appeal court is the Bus stop for Legislative positions. |
hollywater:....its obvious you are an intellectually deficient wailing Z***** |
The appellate Court declared Mr. Godwin Adenomo also of the APC the winner of the general election into the Ovia South- West constituency of Edo State House of Assembly held on 11, April 2015.Some people are giving themselves High Blood Pressure over APC quiting the seat for another APC. ![]() |

Max24:In the event of the hijack of power is different from the day to day running of govt, which is the premise of our discussion. Hijack of power is an uncertainty that call fall anywhere. |
LastSurvivor11:Do u even know the meaning of the running of government. Who do u think will approve payment of salaries and allowances of those service chiefs? They themselves? They will break into the CBN without the authorisation of the Minister of Finance? Who do u think will approve release of funds for arms purchase and military logistics? Don't you know the real power belongs to those who control the economy of the country? So you believe Chief of Staff to an absent president can issue instruction to a CBN governor or the National Assembly or the FIRS or the Nigerian Port Authority? Please don't let bigotry cloud your judgement. Even going by your faulty assertion, the most Senior Military officer presently is Gen Abayomi Olonisakin. A southerner. So your warped logic presupposes that he is the one running government? Please go and familiarise yourself with the meaning of 'day to day running of govt'. |
God bless PMB/PYO! |
LastSurvivor11:His Brothers like:- ...Chief of defence staff ...Chief of Naval staff ...DG of National intelligence Agency ...CBN governor ...Minister of State for Petroleum ...Minister for Finance ...Minister for trade and investment ...Minister for budget and national planning ...Minister for power, works and housing ...Minister for Transportation (which has ports, aviation and railway under it) ...Minister for Foreign Affairs ...Minister for Health ...Auditor General of the Federation ...Head of Service of the Federation ...Chairman of FIRS ![]() Well done, continue with your baseless bigotry. |
hollywater:I didn't lie, they are a better pair to the GEJ/Sambo. They indeed have a vision. Now don't be naive. To have a vision is not so difficult. Any mofo can have a vision. Implementation of the vision is another ball game. They have a vision. To believe in it is another ball game. From the foregoing, you can clearly see that you are the one that lied. And rushing to make utterances without deep thoughts. |
mayim:Send a mail stating the challenges you encountered. It will then be reset for you. |
Good one PYO, I like the way you are covering up for your Boss and firing at all cylinders. The PMB/PYO team was never a mistake! Even those that were opposed to it are now the greatest fans . |

Boboforthegirls:Woman with two kids? You are not serious. |
Mathematical:How can one vote in support of his goal? Kindly drop link. |
why did u let the cat out of the bag na. Hope they won't run to court to get an injunction sha. |
Cool. |
hucienda:Nothing like North and SW coalition. GEJ lost the SW principally due to his poor performance, and even at that he still got above 40% of the SW votes. Assuming GEJ performed well, no coalition can stop his winning the entire SW. |
They must be punished for that silly act. Moreso, since their silliness was taken to a school compound. It must be seen by all security agencies that the era of impunity is over. Everybody is subject to the law, any unruly behaviour by security forces should even carry bigger sanctions, as they are expected to be very conversant with the rule of law and the importance of civility. |
vanbonattel:Even if he is under house arrest, they should let him be. So far his wife, and himself has not raised such alarm. There is an Acting President in place with the full compliment of presidential powers. |
They should allow the man to rest biko. Nigerians and their wahala with solidarity visits. It's only in Nigeria one tends to hear that nonsense. It just shows we have too much spare time on our hands. Someone is on medical vacation, and some people want to turn his current abode to Mecca of some sort. Once politicians start, there will not be an end to the solidarity visits, before you know it, officials of different organs of government will abandone their tasks to go on solidarity visit. An Acting President is in place, they should free the ailing president to properly catch his rest. |
Etzakoos:Inspecting airport toilets is never the work of the president. It just shows how useless our civil service is. |

Engineerboat how now? Was expecting live updates of the inauguration from you ![]() |
Geniro:You are obviously an illiterate ignoramus. The court's decision is succinct. If Metuh, thinks otherwise, let him appeal the decision after the substantive case has been dispelled with. Continue foaming in the mouth just like Metuh's lawyer, thinking that is what counts. Every attempt to unnecessarily delay the case will be met with Justice Abang's hammer. ![]() |
Consequently, Metuh’s lawyer asked Justice Abang to disqualify himself from further presiding over the matter, a request that was also dismissed by the court. On his part, prosecuting counsel, Sylvanus Tahir, held that the insistence of the defendant that he could not proceed with the matter without the presence of Mr. Dasuki was misconceived and had no accommodation in law. |
PassingShot:The lawyer thinks he can intimidate the judge. Check out the Judge's quote: The judge told Mr. Ikpeazu that his statement was contemptuous, but Mr. Ikpeazu insisted that his statement was backed by facts.[/quote]Mr Judge the thick skin nemesis of Metuh and his likes. Justice Okon Abang is actually a good smart judge. Now that the appeal court has ruled in favour of the Sheriff faction of the PDP, is that not a pointer that Okon's earlier ruling on the matter was on its merit?? |
Metuh the paper chopper has started again. Geniro:It seems some of you guys have comprehension problems. Metuh never listed Dansuki as a witness from the onset of the case! Please read and be informed. His decision to call him as a witness was an after thought and a delay tactics after he has already sought several adjournments and has exhausted his adjournments. Now he thinks himself smart, instead to go to Dansuki to get his nod to be his witness, and then officially write to the DSS/prisons/EFCC or whoever is holding him captive to allow him to be his witness, he is going the other way, by telling the court to use its powers to force Dansuki to be his witness. The court is smart, they simply told him he has not shown evidence that he was prevented from bringing Dansuki as a witness by going the proper way, why are you now trying to use the court to achieve what can be done the normal way? Also, why didn't you list the guy as a witness from the onset of the case?? Where is the evidence that you were prevented from using him?? "Oga Ade abeg, proceed with your defence" ![]() |
Good. May things continue to improve. |
Ekeremadu as a senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, and in fact the Deputy Senate President, what role have you played to improve the naira? What ideas have you sold to the CBN? What bills have you passed? What riot Act have you read to the CBN governor? What bills have you pushed to make speculation of the naira very strict? What criminal laws have u passed to make money laundering and looting very difficult? What laws have u pushed through to encourage local content and reduce the pressure on the naira? You are from the SE with manufacturing potentials, in what ways have we seen you transversing the SE and nuturing this potential with moral and political support? In what ways have u been going to the CBN and staying on their neck to encourage supporting local manufacturers from the SE, the same way Northern governors have been staying on the neck of the CBN to support their agricultural potentials? In what ways have you been supporting Ebonyi in maximising her rice production potentials? You are part of the failure. Stop forming smart and isolating yourself. Government is not only one person, you are even a ranking member of this present government. |
