that is the standard for burying all soldiers in nigeria. nigerian army does not bury civilians with military honours. a soldier in my family died, nigerian army infantry corps, he fought in a war. i wont mention his name. his military burial made me feel like dying a soldier.

Don't talk about traditional warriors please. The whole world know about the brave Zulu warriors or Pedi warriors,Our(South Africa) military history(in traditional or tribal warfare) is rich. From Zulu warriors wiping out an entire british battalion in the Battle of Isadlwana,to Chief Bambata's rebellion. King Sekhukhune of the Bapedi tribe gave the british such a headache,or maybe you should read about the Great Generals warrior King Shaka Zulu produced under his rule like King Mzilikasi(whom conquered clans and tribes,till the present day Malawi and Tanzania during Mfecane or Difacane).

infantry is the heart of the army, the human element of the army, the brain of the army, the thinking machine of the army. once your infantry is bad, your army is bad, and once your army is bad, your military ranking drops low.

this is a good gesture to help the south african society develop its educational system. one of the problems i have said before is the low level of education of south african soldiers at the lower ranks...the private to sergeant ranks called the file.

it is very necessary to analyse a country's level of local masses education because it determines the intelligence level of the average combat soldier, and the size of new recruits that can be available in emergency for short military training before going to battle front in case of national war emergency like a major enemy invasion.

nigeria can help south africa in this area especially with nigerian NYSC corp members all of whom have BSc degrees, nigeria has millions of these boys who already have paramilitary training under the nigerian army trainers at NYSC camps.
these provide a large pool of fresh recruits into nigerian army in time of national emergency because their high level education makes it easy to train them for war by just upgrading their paramilitary training to military.


this is one of the reasons i believe nigeria can rapidly expand to build a one million man army in one month os national emergency of war, like a major enemy invasion.

honestly i dont know, i never traveled to or lived in south africa. they say nigerian education is not good, but why are my friends medical doctors graduates of nigerian universities working in south africa ? why do some of these nigerian medical doctors leave south africa eventually and relocate to work as doctors in america/europe ?

the number of medical doctors in a country determines how it will cope with wounded people both civilian and military in time of big war or enemy large scale military invasion.
