Please I want to share my experience with diamond bank to you all, this piece of information can save someone else from becoming a victim of the recent scam going on in diamond bank. I went to the bank to deposit some fund. As I walked into the banking hall I met my account officer who was cheerful as usual. He didn't waste time in telling me about a certain new fixed deposit account which he claimed would rack in an amount a bit bigger than the usual fixed deposit account I had with the bank. He went further by asking me to withdraw the funds in my account by filling the withdrawal slip and handing it over to him so that the money can be fixed. At first I was skeptical and asked if the fund can be accessible whenever I wanted it and he said" yes, anytime". Being that this advise was coming from an accountant in the bank, somebody who shud uphold an integrity, I filled the withdrawal slips for #600k and handed it over to him. He said the fund is to be deposited in a certain account that already contains several other customers. After two months I went to the bank cos I needed to do some withdrawal and the accountant was giving me excuses.Telling me the money was deposited in one marketers account and not available at that moment.. This continued till four months of persistent calling and same story.
