kalakuta100: if you really know anything about Windows 10 you won't compare... Agreed bb10 is a great os but it still has a long way to go before you can match it up with Windows 10 A BB10 that has been in the wild since 2012 is what has a long way to go to what is still being "promised"? Note the only available Win10 devices are PCs, so where are you seeing your capabilities? Microsoft is pushing the Universal App concept (and providing tools for converting iOS and Android apps to Win10) for the sole purpose of closing the APP GAP which is the bane of any 3rd Phone OS ecosystem. Only thing Win10 will do that BB10 doesn't already do, is run iOS apps. BTW once Universal App becomes a widely accepted stuff (What BlackBerry has been referring to as "App Neutrality", the consumers will only judge the OS and that is when many people will truly give the BB10 a chance and see its power. |

texazzpete: Why are you so eager to air your ignorance in public?
Continuum and the Universal app platform are nothing like what Blackberry was doing.
If it was just to connect a bluetooth mouse and keyboard to a phone and use it as a glorified PC, you could do it on Android phones years ago. This isn't anything like that. If you watched the video, you'd know what Win10 was doing is exactly the same, the only difference was "SCALING" the display to the bigger screen. The universal app concept is a different technology and was not mentioned in my post. If you do not know what the technology is all about, please go and read more to enlighten yourself. |

Fulaman198: "Event thought its distributing versions of its Windows 10 operating system to anyone and everyone who wants to try them, it wasn’t until this week that Microsoft revealed a Windows 10 for phones feature that wasn’t just a rehash of something it’d done before. On stage at its developer conference Microsoft showed a new feature that’ll allow users to turn their smartphones into Windows Desktop PCs.
The feature that lets Windows 10 for Phones morph into Desktop PCs isn’t completely new to Windows 10. In fact, it’s the Continuum feature that lets Windows 10 2-in-1s and tablets switch in and out of Tablet Mode when no keyboard is detected. On stage during the BUILD 2015 keynote, Microsoft executive Joe Belfiore showed off what he called Continuum for Phones."
Source: http://www.gottabemobile.com/2015/04/30/microsoft-reveals-stunning-windows-10-for-phones-feature/ This is great. very good to see that Technology companies are finally delivering what the customers want. However, everything delivered on this Universal Mode by Win10 has been present on the TWO YEARS OLD BlackBerry Z30! While laying on my bed, my Z30 connects to my Bluetooth Keyboard and Mouse and displays on my LG 32" LED TV, and I use it as my main device. One guy actually uses it in place of his laptop all year round. Note that while the video showed 2-Screen mode for Phone and Display, the Z30 can SIMULTANEOUSLY (wireless) play a Video on a Smart TV while playing Music on a Bluetooth Speaker and BOTH have their SEPARATE audio filtering through and you can INDEPENDENTLY adjust any of the 2 audio volumes. The screen scaling though is what the Win10 does that we are still waiting for BlackBerry to implement. The BB10 OS is an awesome platform. |

Macmilla: Bbm just started giving out ppl's pins FOC. Once someone has ur number, the person can get ur pin and can chat with you even without sending you an invite. This function is available in the latest version of bbm. This makes it just like whatapp. What do you think about this development? First off, they are not giving out People's PINs as you claimed, rather they are letting you be aware of Contacts / Friends that you already have who are using BBM thereby helping you grow your network. Same as Facebook Showing "Friends you may know"! Note that for you to see the "Other Contacts", you should already have the following attributes of the Contact: 1. An email address that corresponds to the BBID of the contact. 2. A phone number that corresponds to one in the BBID of the Contact. Also remember, you won't see the BB PIN of the Contact until you both become BBM Contacts. So in essence your identity is very much hidden. |

Although Tambuwal has become governor of his state but considering there is still a case in court and now this judgement, would be interesting to see what happens to Tambuwal vs PDP case.m I believe the key part of this judgement is clear: Defection to another party is allowed ONLY when there is DIVISION IN THE NATIONAL STRUCTURE of the party. So if Tambuwal can prove that there was division in the national structure of PDP, then he would have to lose his position as HOR member. Clearly though, Tambuwal cited happenings in his STATE, thus he is not going to have any grounds to stand on. |

tit: it has happen before. Tinubu was elected governor and senator after been sentenced by a US court for drug-dealing. A drug conviction for Bola Ahmed Tinubu would imply him NEVER being eligible for a Visa to visit the US again. However, events have shown this is not the case as he recently went to the US and attended the inauguration of President Obama for his 2nd term. Therefore on the basis of such information, while I know he did do asset forfeiture in the US, the US clearly does not classify it as a Drug Conviction. |

The Igbos are simply not interested in the conspiratorial politics recently played out by the Yoruba and Hausa against the only chance Niger delta has to rule this nation for their own 8 years. The picture was clearly on the wall, it was all arranged to return power to the north and thereafter 8 years the SW takes over. The Igbos know it and they don't want to be involved, that is why they stayed on their own. It's obvious by your write up that you don't know nothing about the structure of Nigeria and how dearly we need a political stability. Niger is waiting for the next election and I can bet you, SW will not see the support of ND and SE. Wait and see, may God keep us alive. Let me ask you, was it conspiratorial politics in the below instances too: 1960: The Eastern Party NCNC teamed up with the Northern party to form the Central government. 1963: The Eastern Party NCNC teamed up with the Northern party to form the Central government. 1979: The Eastern party NPP, teamed up with NPN to form the central government. 1983: The Eastern party NPP, teamed up with NPN to form the central government. 1999: The East and North voted massively for PDP. 2007: The East and North voted massively for PDP. Why then do you think it is now conspiracy for the SW to vote along or team up with the North? Is it only conspiratorial when others do it except you? Or is it only conspiratorial when you lose out in the balance of power? |

JK is a technocrat? Maybe this blogger doesn't know what a technocrat means and thus can loosely use it to define Jimi Agbaje.
The last time JK was in anything deemed technocrat was in 1998, and since then, he has been a politician. What manner of technocrat cannot grow a business from a one branch entity in 25 years? I simply reject such a person.
If he can't be trusted to handle a pharmacy and grow it, how then should he be entrusted with managing the biggest economy in Nigeria? He can only bring retrogression and division to it. I therefore do not support a JK candidacy.

shammah1: Gboyega Akinsanmi with agency report Igbos living in Lagos were told on Sunday to vote for the governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr. Akinwumi Ambode, or else they will die in the lagoon.
A visibly angry Oba of Lagos, Rilwan Akiolu, in an unconcealed threat, stated that he was not ready to beg the Igbos, but if they repeated what they did on March 28 when they voted for the presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), President Goodluck Jonathan, then they should be ready for the consequences.
The governorship elections are scheduled to hold on Saturday, and it is believed that Igbo residents in Lagos will vote for the PDP candidate, Jimi Agbaje, just like they did during the presidential and National Assembly elections that led to the victory of PDP candidates of Igbo origin and from Delta State in three federal constituencies in Lagos.
The victory of the non-indigenes of Lagos, THISDAY gathered, has not gone down well with the Lagos chapter of the APC.
Speaking at a meeting with Igbo leaders in the state, according to an online news medium, Freedom Online, the first class monarch, who failed to recognise the cosmopolitan nature of Lagos, said: “On Saturday, if anyone of you goes against Ambode who I picked, that is your end. If it doesn’t happen within seven days, just know that I am a bastard and it is not my father who gave birth to me.
“Jonathan is my son and I speak to him everyday. By the grace of God, I am the owner of Lagos for the time being. This is an undivided chair. The palace belongs to the dead and those coming in the future.
“On Saturday, if anyone of you, I swear in the name of God, goes against my wish that Ambode will be the next governor of Lagos State, the person is going to die inside this water.
“I’m not ready to beg you. Nobody knew how I picked Ambode. Jimi (Agbaje) is my blood relation and I told him that he cannot be governor in Lagos for now. The future belongs to God. I am not begging anybody, but what you people cannot do in Onitsha, Aba or anywhere, don’t do it here.
“If you do what I want, Lagos will continue to be prosperous for you. If you go against my wish, you will perish in the water.”
