PoliticsRe: Obasanjo Accuses Jonathan Of Promoting Corruption by Akainzo(m): 8:08pm On Dec 11, 2013
kettykin: Jonathan is a weak president other wise this fool called Obj who squandered N16b tax payers money on a fluke power project, who used his office to organise the worst set of rigging in Anambra where Andy Uba was declared winner in an election that didn't hold, whose daughter was caught in embezzlement of N10b health fujd, who used EFCC to victimise governors he doesn't like, who closed down businesses of igbo men for no meaningful reasons, who issued oil blocks to all manner of people as he was the minister for petroleum should be behind bars
Tell me, all the power plants that are being commissioned by GEJ, were they all conceptualised, awarded and built by GEJ?

walcolm: no the Q10 is not a better device...its just a different form factor and the specs are the same for both of them....Z10 is the ALL TOUCH and Q10 is physical KEYBOARD version of essentially the same device
Technically though, the Q10 is superior to the Z10. The Q10 has in addition 1. FM Radio 2. Miracast and 3. WiFi Direct
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:47pm On Dec 04, 2013
jazzydee: Stop deflecting the issue on table Amaechi has recieved $1.5billion in 10 months in 2013 what is he doing with it ? why does he need to borrow $200million for water when he could simply afford to pay for the water scheme from the state allocation if it was such a priority.

The truth about the issue is that the FG knows that the $200million dollars will form part of the $6 billion that amaechi is trying to amass for APC for 2015 election. Its not going to provide water for rivers state residence.
Amaechi is not concerned about the plight of the rivers state residence but his political self preservation.
I have not deflected the issue, it is known that Rivers State has received $1.5B in 2013, I am just pointing out that in that same period FGN has received over $23B, what have they done with it. Did NOI kick against the $1B loan from China, though most Nigerians know that some of the money will be used by the FGN for 2015 elections? I am just asking you to stop the hypocrisy.

Mind you Amaechi is doing lots that I that reside in Rivers State is feeling, but I cannot feel the FGN doing something for me in Rivers State.

Note that, should we now say that GEJ and his team, likewise all other governors, should not receive money also, seeing as they are all looking for money to amass for 2015 elections, or is it that PDP, LP, APGA Governors do not need money for 2015 but only APC Governors do?
Bros you need to go back to school. A loan application should be approved before a guarantor guarantees it. Same way Naija banks make conditional offer of employment until you provide guarantors.
You are a clown. Is the Gurantor's form not part of the doumentation you will submit to get the loan?
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:30pm On Dec 04, 2013
jazzydee: Amaechi has less than 18 months left in office its too late to be dreaming its time to deliver on all campaign promises to the state, which he appears not be actively working on as he has abandoned all projects in the state.

The only dream he is actively working on is that of political self preservation through APC, Is that what rivers people elected him for?
Only lazy minds think dreams are time limited. The owner of Disney World died before the first park was completed, but today it is the biggest tourist destination in the world. Amaechi's dreams for Rivers State goes beyond his tenure, the GPH ideal and Mono Rail are not and should not be limited to his tenure.
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:25pm On Dec 04, 2013
jazzydee: Can you list the federal roads that Amaechi has completed? he should first concentrate on fixing all the bad state roads littering PH before intervening on FG roads dont you think?
Well at least he did the dualisation of Igwuruta to Imo boundary on the PH-Owerri road. Meanwhile, the FGN has not been able to do the Imo boundary to Owerri end. You do the maths.

I guess the dualisation of Ada George, Stadium Road, Okporo Road, Mile 1 to Agip Roundabout, Old Aba Road, etc and the were all done in Delta State ko?
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:20pm On Dec 04, 2013
jazzydee: Schools and healthcare centres are not the only infrastructures that rivers state need at the moment. If this is the only thing that Amaechi can point to in 6yrs of administration, then he has failed the people woefully, when compared with the huge resources that comes into the state monthly.

All Amaechi achievements were in his first term. from january to october 2013 Amaechi has recieved a whopping N257 billion or $1.5Billion naira from the federation account!
that amount is more than the yearly budgets of many african countries. The big question is what has he done with that amount within the said period?
How much in the same period has the FGN, to which NOI is the Finance Minister received, and what has the FGN done with it? What can you as a Nigerian say that FGN has improved within this 2013 calendar year?
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m):
jazzydee: My friend stop spewing trash we all know that the monorail project is a white elephant project.
You are entitled to your thoughts. I just know that small minds can't fanthom big ideas, they call it dreams. Unfortunately, small minds, do not also grasp it, that all successful men (things) were borne out of dreams. Whosoever dreams, succeeds.

Amaechi has big dreams and I wish him success.

Ngwakwe: Definitely Yes, after ADB board.

The FG is the guarantor hence the approval should be captured in the minutes of FEC meeting.
So by your reasoning, a loan should be granted before the Gurantor signs agreeing to guarantee the loan? Is that what you were taught back in Economics/Commerce class in school?
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:11pm On Dec 04, 2013
cyril10: Symphony is Amaechi's boot leaker, I live in PH so I know the state of Rivers as we speak. Tell your godfather so concentrate in developing Rivers with the huge sums of money that is accrued to his govt, Amaechi is a deceiver for all I know, bad roads everywhere.
I wonder why you haven't asked GEJ and his FEC team what they have done with the huge revenue accruing to this nation. You all seem to forget that whatever Rivers State gets, FGN gets 250% equivalent. Yet, Rivers State is intervening on FGN roads within the Rivers area to ensure that Rivers people will enjoy good roads.

You live in Rivers State, can you compare the Rivers State you live in today to the one of 8 years ago?
PoliticsRe: You’re Peddling Falsehood, Okonjo-iweala To Ameachi by Akainzo(m): 3:07pm On Dec 04, 2013
southsouthman: I live in Port Harcourt and also voted for Amaechi because of his great achievements in his first term. If he has continued with the same pace PH would have been far better than as it is today. These beautiful schools were all built in his first term. He lost his bearing when he got himself involve with some people from the other part in the country. The mono rail project and bogus projects are all lying unattended to for God knows why. He should leave Okonjo Iwealla alone and come back to the state and concentrate.
When last did you visit the site of the Mono Rail project? I would suggest you go there again and see if you'd still have the same belief about the project.

NOTE: As the Mono Rail will pass through already developed area, do you not know that valuations and compensation have to be worked out with current owners before the rails for the Park - Igwuruta will commence?
I couldn't imagine myself using a lesser OS when I have had super cool mobile and internet experiences. I have had opportunities of picking up lesser blackberry phones and I swear I cannot stomach such degraded devices. I have been playing ps on phones before blackberry. I have been browsing comfortably before blackberry why should I because of hype get on the train and get frustrated. Mind you, am a techie and I have first hand experience of technology.

From day one I told my girlfriend that bb was gonna go down. Today she's like, you never liked bb and gush seems you killed it by yourself. I looked at their future from a vantage point and saw the ovation going down in a few years.

It will only take aggressive innovation to resurrect bb. Live with it.

Samsung s4 (Black mist) on my mind.
I call Bullshit on the bolded part. You know nothing about the tech world, you are simply a user Q.E.D.
You will not understand. I was an adult before mobile phones came into Nigeria. I have used many phones. I have never used an android phone. I have been a nokia addict.

I decided to try bb after all the fuss. I started with OS 7.1 and switched to OS 10.

As I have noted bb is lacking in the essentials of a good smartphone. The design is wack, the small screen is too small for serious things.

My phone should be an extension of my PC not just for chatting and social media. I should have options. I look handsome on photos taken with samsung. If not a little improvement in bb10, bb makes me look a bit shady on pictures. No good games on bb, sound is rubbish.

BB is dead, Nigeria cannot sustain it. It's like a small girl in her teens drawing attention to herself because of her age. When it was time to use cosmetics to keep the beauty glowing, she messed everything up. The bb10 phones were due 2 years ago. It was suppose to have come on the scene when the first galaxies came out. They didn't want to innovate and collaborate and they were left behind.

The reason bb10 is fast falling in price is due to unsold stocks. Nobody wants the crappy thing and no one is ready to be boxed in a corner with their own money.

In this kind of fast paced industry, you got to be giving people options.

Samsung s4 things on my mind
The bolded part of your comments is the crux of your misinformation. There you were earlier saying that "there were better smartphones in the world before the BlackBerry", that is what I have taken you up on and which is what you have just confirmed: You are a late bird and did not know when the ONLY smartphone was a BlackBerry. BlackBerry built the smartphone market.

The Android and iPhone knew they couldn't compete on the communications aspect and thus went for the consumer areas: games, apps, gimmicks. They are quite successful and have sold millions more than the BB. However, as a smartphone that gets things done, the Z10 nails it.
You cannot compare nokia phones with bb when you are a game freak, want quality pictures and like nice sound from your phones. For many of us that used yahoo messenger so much before bb messenger, what you call ping existed as buzz in yahoo phone apps in nokia phones. Even till date sony erission and nokia n series phones are not on the same level with bb. BB is childs play where they are concerned.

Imagine a bb10 that I have to run a 300mb plus software upgrade on purchase without guarantee that the phone will be stable after the upgrade.

As I said, as for those young people who started using phones when bb came out and have never used a fast modem to surf the net, it will be difficult to convince such a person that there is another life outside bb.

You need to take pictures with samsung phones, play games, use good apps before you can see the clear picture. I am typing this from a bb10, its experience and not just making statements.

Samsun s4 things on my mind
Just as expected you do not have the requisite knowledge about the smartphone industry, you probably came onto it when Techno was able to get you cheap Android devices.

When you talk about using a good apps before one can see a clear picture on a BB10, then I know you do not have any BB10 experience at all.

Let me give you a small test to run, Get a Samsung Galaxy S4 (with latest Android Kit-Kat) and a BB10 with the 10.2.1.1055, load Google Earth on both then run it on both at the same time. Do share the results.

You just confirmed what I was saying. Use the google on those Symbian s60 and learn the history of smartphones then come and share which smartphones were better than BlackBerries when BB's were introuded. Or do you think BBs came 4 years ago?
Unfortunately, those who never used a phone or a good phone before the emergence of blackberry consider the phone as a wonderful device. Most of those who started accessing the internet from a blackberry phone will never come to the realization that there is a better world outside blackberry.

In terms of picture quality, good games and sound, blackberry is nowhere. I decided to get myself a curve 7 and later a bb10 to satisfy my curiosity.

The phone is far below my expectation in all ramification. The new bb10 I bought had to be unlocked with a samsung galaxy.

Experience is the best teacher, I have used good nokia express music, 6600 and n series and these phone had good games, better sound and superior picture quality.

As for the bb10 series, Samsung phones beats them hands down.

I have sworn that I am not buying any blackberry again. I have proved myself right that the phone is useless.
Share with us which good phone or better phone existed before the advent of BlackBerries. It is obvious you think the smartphone segment came into being when Android was released. Try and use that your Android to google things before you yarn.
dear you need to get some android education then you will discover how much of a work tool it could turn out for you than BB. I was using BB as a work tool with its ability under MTN plan to check only 2 email accounts until I found out that with android I could check all my 5 accounts and more if I so wish. also am able to read any form of attachment (pdf, word, excel etc)and even print them wirelessly with Bluetooth or over a network to a remote printer all from my phone. the problem with Nigerians and phones expecially the females is that they hardly read or understand the specification of they buy. BB has nothing close to Android phones expecially the ones running on 4.2 jelly bean OS. ope u know your BB is a glorified java phone.you can't even start comparing processor speeds.
The problem with people like you is you lack any power of analytical reasoning. You compare Apples and Oranges, and want to shout at the top of your voice that you have discovered a great thing.

Are you aware that less than 60% of Android phones run on Jelly Bean (OS 4.2)?
Which model of BB is it that you had that couldn't do Powerpoint, PDF, Word, Excel? This had been the hallmark of BB's and which is why they are the kings of enterprise.

Since you are at it, get your S4 running Jelly Bean and get a Z10 running OS 10.2.1.1055 (Jelly Bean Runtime) and then do ALL your tests, please publish the resulats here. You will be pleasantly surprised at all your misconceptions flying out the window.

And for those always shouting Specs, Yes specs sells phones to the masses but it does not tell the entire story. Just in case, check the "specs" of the tractor to the car, and you'd be amazed that the tractor has better specs even though the average Toyota Corrolla delivers a better experience.
I'm missing the hype they once had. I used curve 2, curve 4, bold 2 and lastly curve 7 all because I wanted to belong to the BB users league. That BB hype drained pockets o. I will miss people carrying their USB dongle about.
For most folks, the Android phone is used mainly for calls, games and browsing. What this means is during the day time, the phone is mainly idle.

For most BlackBerry users, they are chatting, browsing, doing mails and then calls. This means during the day time, the phone is actively used.

You cannot expect a parked car to use as much fuel as a moving car, neither should you expect your fuel to last a whole journey from PH to Lagos, simply because it lasts you a week when doing office to house commute.

Both phones were being used differently, do they consume power differently. Check online forums and see the many Galaxy S4 users that are complaining about battery once they start putting it through what the BlackBerry used to do for them.
PropertiesRe: How To Get Rid Of My Annoying Tenants!! by Akainzo(m): 6:25pm On Nov 29, 2013
Olife: Am learning!

Am still weighing points here. Majorly between within payment period and after xpiration.

Also, a Family friend once settled his' by reporting to the OBA. they r aggresive o! N fear they might go diabolical..
The law could be on your side, and you could jeopardize it by taking the wrong steps. I will try and spell out your options below:

Quit Notice: You can issue them a quit notice stating that you want to use your property and would therefore not be renewing their tenancy.
Rent Increase: You can issue them a Notice of Rent Increase. Increase the rent by 3 fold for reasons of inflation and revaluation.

NOTICE PERIOD: The Quit/Increase Notice MUST however reach the tenant (with proof) Six Months to expiry of a yearly tenancy; Three Months for a Half Yearly tenancy; One Month for a monthly tenancy and Two Weeks for a Weekly tenancy.

REMINDER NOTICE: At the half way of your NOTICE PERIOD, issue them a Reminder Notice stating the contents of your earlier Notice.

Court Order: One week after expiration of your Quit/Rent Notice, get a Court Order for them to vacate your premises.

NOTE: At this time, wait on the courts knowing fully well that they MUST pay ADDITIONAL RENT from the date of expiration notice to the date they actually submit your keys, AT YOUR OWN DETERMINED RATES, Plus Your Lawyer Fees and Court Fees. (Get your lawyer to spell this out for them.)

Follow these steps and they will know it is much easier, and very much cheaper to just park out at the end of their rent.

hypenation: ASUU leaders are terrorist under the control of the opposition party! They will do anytin to hinder and destroy our education system. GEJ should disolve the association if he really want to put an end to this strike
I wonder how you reason. So ALL lecturers belong to the opposition? There are no PDP supporters, sympathizers or even relations of PDP politicians that are lecturers?

WHat this could mean is that learned, intelligent and upright people are not within the PDP fold.

2. Where will the "new" Professors spring from?
3. Who will now accredit the universities with "new" lecturers?
4. When there are no qualified lecturers, not staff members, would you have a university?
5. The "new" lecturers, are they going to be banned from joining ASUU?

naijanaso: This is complete nonsense. Amaechi you are not doing this for Rivers people, but for yourself, family and immediate cabinet. What has your govt done for these oil host communities so far? I am privileged to work in the oil industry and I know what I am talking about.
What has your company done for the oil host communities?

naijanaso: Amaechi in a press statement that has been aired over 100 times in the local radios said ''WE ARE NOT CALLING ANYBODY, WE WILL FIGHT THE POLICE OURSELVES...BOYS AND GIRLS COME OUT AND FIGHT THE POLICE WHEN WE CALL YOU...'' How does this go down well with the people of the state. Where are his own children? You want innocent people to fight the police that you have personally created enmity with...HAND WEY SCATTER BEE, NA HIM BEE GO STING.
This man has practically scattered Rivers State and is coming out to shout for solidarity.
On which of the local stations have you heard that? Please share with me.

naijanaso: People always want to compare Odili and Amaechi...you should be comparing Amaechi with serving governors. Odili was also seen as one of the best in his time...And for those who do not know, Amaechi is yet to give PH any new road. It was actually Odili who made most of the roads that Amaechi is only expanding or filling as the case may be. Talk of the Odili road, New Airport road that cuts through Eliozu, the one God sent road that connects Woji to Slaughter which brought light at the end of a very dark Tunnel for those living at Woji, The Igbo Etche road that links to Eneka and more, these are all brain works of Odili.
You are indeed pathetic. Do we take it then that Oduah has not done anything in Aviation since no new airport has been built?
Do you really want to compare that Eliozu-Airport Road that was being patched even as they were constructing it, that became an eyesore within a year to the completely re-built one that Amaechi put there? And please don't get me started on the Woji bridge, what Odili built there shows a man without vision.

naijanaso: Odili had free school buses and civil servant buses including the Rivline rail that was conveying workers from Obigbo to PH. Bursary was paid to Students of the State to help in school fees matter, Just to mention a few.
If Odili did not do well, then Amaechi was behind the failure because he was the Speaker of the RSHA as of then. All these praises for Amaech will stop when he leaves office and the bad side of him start unfolding.
My point: He should stop dragging innocent Rivers Populace to his POWER DRUNKEN QUEST mistakes.
If Odili did well in your own estimation, then I have no need to have this discussion with you. Remember that some fathers do believe that their kids do well when he/she scores 15/100, as they can at least say he didn't score 0.

That's my point. He is selfish and self centered! The state is doing well under GEJ and PDP.
It is his personal ambition that is threatened in PDP and under GEJ, not the state as he deceptively stated.
