ehissi: If it is not foolishness or just illiteracy that is worrying people that think like this; after arresting him with DSS, EFCC, ICPC, OPC or fulani herdsmen; isn't it the court that you will take them to, to prosecute them.
At the end of the day, they will still refer to the law books that you were hoping to bye pass (see Dasuki and Nnamdi kanu's case as an example).
So why not just humble yourself, read the damn laws book or get someone who has studied them professionally (they are called lawyers may I add) and prosecute them according to the same law.
Dundee united..... Which part of our law gives immunity to judges? Which part of our laws says judges can't be arrested? If a judge commits a crime of rape, is it NJC that will decide the matter? Judges are protected within the context of doing their constitutional job and that does not include committing crimes. While you are advising people to read, please read up on the Nigeria Administration of Criminal Justice Act 2015 and wonder why our judges aren't following it. Why are judges choosing the laws to practice? |

He should also tell us the source of funds and how Buhari and his team managed the 19 billion naira that was given to him in cash by the then sitting Governor of the leading and largest state in the south west and the 24.6 billion naira that was given to him in cash and in one day (which was recorded on video before being handed over) by another leading south western politician. When one wants to spin a story, one should try to at the minimum be smart. Most bank branches have never even had 4Billion in cash in their vaults, yet FFK wants us to believe Buhari would be given 24.6 Billion in cash! It is like the fabu in Primary School where one kid said his father is so rich everyone has a personal swimming pool in their room. Just like somebody was asking why is there no Yoruba BBC or Igbo BBC. It is because of people like you that Ibrahim's post is being celebrated. People like you that have gone through school but leave much to be desired. 1. Hausa is a language spoken across many countries and not just in the Northern part of Nigeria. 2. Does literacy mean Read/Write IN ENGLISH? Is the German an illiterate because he can't write English? Those same people you think are illiterates Read and Write in Arabic, they count in the same language and do trade in it. 3. Yoruba is spoken in South West Nigeria and some parts of Benin Republic, while Ibo is obly spoken in the Sout Eastern part of Nigeria. Of what economic benefit is it to BBC to have dedicated programmes in this languages? Remember, they aren't bound by any requirement for geo-political balancing. You need to be more like Ibrahim! |

oweniwe: So. .. In your mind... Delta people enjoyed those services free of charge?
They don't pay nepa bills?
And the government didn't pay d contractors that built the bitumen roads?
Don't get me wrong .... We are not saying we don't want to share or give resources ....
What we are saying is... If you want to take... Take wat u want and leave small for your host community.
Heavy duty equipments being moved by oil companies often destroy feeble communal road.
Oil dey yet we are paying N145 for per liter for imported petrol.
Gas dey to generate power...... Dey sell 20%, use 10% to generate power dat is stepped down far away.... Den they flare the remaining 70%... If a plant generates 150mw, is 500kva or so allocation to host community too much? Why leave them in darkness?
Oil exploration and hydro dam are two different things. Dams affect the ecology only once after they are built... You have probably not been to Niger delta Where gas is being flared for over 30 years now without respite
If you want to build pipeline or flow Station .... You can build as long as u want.. after u are done, repair the roads u cut up to lay your pipes....dont just lay pipe and run away..
Or build power Station and leave ur host without power
That is what we are saying. Is any part of Nigeria enjoying fuel (diesel, kero, ago, lpfo or pms) free of charge? BTW, stop the FUD, no oil company cuts roads to lay pipes and doesn't return them back to normal. Most of the development in these places are also largely due to the operations of these same oil companies. Most rural areas even have roads because the oil companies built these roads, some wouldn't have light if not for these oil companies. We all need each other. |

oweniwe: If I hear.... Okpai... Agip host community in Ndokwa East produces oil, gas and hosts a power plant, yet the community is in darkness with no motorable roads.... D power generated in okpa is stepped down in Obosi.... Anambra state....
Does that make sense to you?
Even if it is 1mw out of 150mw, give to the community that produces and hosts the facilities ....
The marginal field operators in that axis are currently building pipeline over communities that BEDC Has refused to supply light for over 3 years now.
We are not saying we don't want to share oil revenue or power with other states in Nigeria ... What we are saying is... If you want to take, take whatever you want and leave something for the community that produces it.....
After taking wat they want they wil still destroy existing infrastructure on top with their heavy vehicles ... Its not fair. Before Agip built that same power plant, the rest of the country, including Obosi, PH, Lagos, Calabar, Aba, Umuahia, etc, were enjoying light generated from Kainji. The Kainji community did not have light back then but the people of Warri did not complain, they were happy to have the light. Same way, the road from Ughelli to Warri was built from bitumen mined in Ondo state back then, no one complained. All that I am saying is, we have all benefited from something coming out of the other states. |

oweniwe: It makes no sense using resources produced by 8-10 states to spoon feed 26 other states.
Delta state has 3 power plants but yet no light in Asaba ...
It doesn't make sense to continue suffering and sweating to power, oil and gas and receive peanuts or nothing....
while other states who don't even know what gas flaring is like or how farm lands are rendered worthless is pipelines are laid in it.... Are receiving free monthly allocation without breaking a sweat.
Until fiscal federalism or regionalism... Dey should bomb everything to 0.0 barrels per day.
Rubbish country You are indirectly now asking for the other 35 states to help Delta State out. Given that almost all crude/gas activities has been grounded in Delta State, which is the reason why all the 3 power plants there are currently down, the only way to get power to anywhere in Delta State will be from the National grid. That power would need to be produced from OUTSIDE Delta State. So you see, isolating oneself is not always necessarily a good thing. The same way other power producers will come to the aid of Delta State today, is why Delta State had been helping to generate funds for the nation since. It's a symbiotic relationship. |

Taking 1$ = 200 For Minimum $2m * 200 = #200,000,000 $17m * 200 = #3,400,000,000 Lets Say She Has Been Working For 10years Now And Her Salary Was #2million I No No How Much Them Day Pay Minister That Is= 2000000*360*10=#7,200,000,000 That's 7.2 Billion Naira For 10years And Am Sure She Has More Than This In He Account
The above is what happens when you are told to pay attention in class but you are busy dreaming about the yahoo boy down the road. $2m * 200 = 400,000,000.00 $17m *200 =3,400,000,000.00 Total is #3.8 Billion Naira. The Ministers Salary in Nigeria is officially about #2Mln, plus allowances will take it to Max #5Mln and it is per annum! That would imply maximum of 50,000,000 (and that is if she saved every single kobo, ministers pay is here: https://www.naij.com/638102-revealed-much-buharis-ministers-will-earn-yearly.html) So 10 years work at 5 Million per annum = 5,000,000 *10 = 50,000,000 Scratch that and let's be super generous, multiply that by 10! Lets say the margin of error is 1000% so therefore for the 10 years as a Minister, her maximum, earnings is #500Million! She was an Executive Director in SHELL NIGERIA and not Shell Worldwide in 2006. Her take home pay for the Max 2 years will be #100million This implies that for her Executive Director and Ministers work, her Top Ceiling earnings is #600,000,000.00 Now compare that to the #3,800,000,000.00. That is a massive difference of #3,200,000,000.00; #3.2Bln If we correct the Value of the assets for inflation and thus use 120/$ That is a difference of #1.92Billion.

Vice-President Yemi Osinbajo was rather drafted to make the Lagos state visit and has been commissioning projects in the state.
Presidential spokesperson, Garba Shehu, had said in a statement on Sunday that “The president is faced with scheduling difficulties and that is the reason for the postponement of the visit. He needs more time for Lagos and for Edo which had earlier been stepped down,” Shehu told state house correspondents on Sunday. “As a result of this, the visit has been scaled down and he is being represented by His Excellency the vice-president, who is going to Lagos to commission a few projects, leaving the rest for Mr. President. The Russian is tutored in Russian but is the language of examination Polish or French? The English speaking Universities in Germany are examined in English while the German ones are likewise examined in German. The language of instruction and examination has to be the same. How then is it rational to teach someone a technical course like Physics in Hausa and then expect anything out of him when s/he doesn't know a word in the language of examination English?
This is a very simple and elementary logic but congenital cretins like you who lack critical thought and objective reasoning can't see through.
You lack the capacity to objectively criticise dialectic reasoning. After blowing all the grammar, it just confirms that you are only educated but not informed. it also shows that you are missing that cognitive abilities you are so desirous of showing off with. First the quote I replied to is reproduced below and the context was not in relation to how the kids will pass the exams but on how they subject is being disseminated. You are free to put your own context to it. HugeMac: please zombie ! How would you write physics in hausa language?
