There is no point to debate because there are several mediums to communicate your policies and intentions to the citizens instead of waisting time to debate with fools like atiku.
And a debate is not a medium of communication? Hmmmm a debate is a waste of time, so tell me which medium is not a waste of time? The good people/bad people radio jingle? grin

You must be a fool. 40 billion is what the US Senate caught Atiku lifting, but I guess you want to tell us its small money, right?
Atiku is a thief!

Atiku was caught stealing 40 billa by the US Senate!!
From your above, you are trying to say $40B!
See how ignorant and stupid you are coming across, the wealthiest Nigerian as accepted worldwide is not even listed at $20B, yet you open your filthy mouth and spew such rubbish. My friend, start applying some of the education you seem to have acquired.

Where is the sense in any of the above? Where?
The President speaks through others, that is why they are employed. His voice is not cheap and shouldn't share space with that of an international THEIF. Do not belittle the office of the President of Nigeria.
Finally, you have left the realm of reasoning and descending to the depths of stupidity. Now you're showing signs of a depraved attack dog.

I want my President to speak to me, to itemize what his plans for the nation and get me to believe in him! BTW, if you believed the nonsense you wrote above, what were you smoking while you were on the thread praising his Facebook adventure? Oh, I get it, the FB messages were people speaking for him.  grin grin grin

Read the news. Don't blame me for your ignorance.
Beaf, Actually I was trying to give your ignorance the benefit of the doubt. I probably might be assuming wrongly that you are educated enough to know that money is usually quoted in the relevant currency.
You've been parroting 40 billion all over the place, yet you have no idea of which currency it actually is in.

When another poster took you up on the Jefferson case, you took the ignorant route of stating that a US court is the US authorities you were referring to in your post. I am not even sure you have actually read up the Jefferson case.

Not to worry though, I now know your level of education and exposure. Just a paid mouth or a bigot.
PoliticsRe: Jonathan Promises Reasonable Power Supply If Elected by Akainzo(m): 7:47pm On Dec 27, 2010
The same GEJ that is promising reasonable electricity come 2011 is having the following provision for the 2011 budget.

  i. ₦861,000,000 for electricity (in the State House)
ii. ₦54 million is voted for fueling of plant/generator.

Outside of the meaning of this provisions, the colossal amount is so very amusing and smacks of corruption.

How much is a 30KVA generator? How many generators would ₦861M buy?

In the same 2011 budget, GEJ has ₦24M to buy a scanner outside of the ₦428 million voted for computers! Hmmm  and the guy claims to be a saint.

@OP,

Your story is full of so much make believe that is why everyone is slating it.

1. Your female boss could simply solve your irritating no-play by simply sacking you, why would she want to kill you?
2. What would she gain by killing you? Or is there more to the story than love advances?
3. When those other colleagues of yours were killed, as you refused to take the company vehicle, what did the Police do as you were also a suspect.
4. You ex-boss was surprised to see you alive! What rubbish, so since that assassination, she didn't realize you weren't killed?

My guy, when watching home movies, try and put on some form of thinking faculty.

Jonathan said the Federal Government would ensure proper placement and recognition of traditional rulers in the scheme of things in the country.

Beaf: We firmly believe. Moreso, with the highlighted example of what has been so quickly achieved already.
Some Nigerians prefer a ruler who would deliver unmitigated suffering so they can gather and exchange gossip, because they have never known the trauma of fighting for fuel.

Let idle minds chatter, while work goes on.
This constant reminder of the fuel normalization is becoming stale and GEJ better get off his high horse about it as the well informed are aware of the circumstances around the normalization.

Without taking from his inputs, GEJ however cannot and should not claim to have done anything about the normalization as it was time and chance that helped Nigerians.

I want Arsenal to win, and that is as much for the 3 points as it is to have a one-up over the Chelsea fans.

However, make no mistake, the league is not won by beating only the Top-4 teams. In 2008, out of the 6 games, we won 4 yet we didn't win the league. We've also beaten all the top 4 and yet fail to win the league.

I ain't so much interested in bragging as I want do much to win the league. And this year, we do have a real good chance. Go Gunners!!!!

Lol, your argument holds no merit, no substance, and no point. Just speak for yourself: you have no real respect/value for women, and you think that they are made solely of Womanliness bc that's the only thing you see when you look at them. Sorry to disillusion you, but EVERY woman, even hoes, have minds, souls, hearts. yes, there are gold diggers out there, but they're the exception. As for your thinking that I believe hoes are mindless booty bla bla then you are wrong. All I meant was that they know the name of the game. So why not just go for them instead of an innocent girl on the street who may/may not share your twisted views of womanhood tongue.
My guy, make you hold brake small. Take slow mind read the guy post. He did not say ALL WOMEN, and thus it is wrong of you to castigate him with a generalisation brush that he never used. He said some women.

And the truth is simple: Some women go out with guys just for the s.ex and some men go after ladies just for the s.ex as well. You might in your church mind deny it, but that is the truth!
If your game is tight enough, and you can hold it (especially if you aint afraid of a NO), you can and should be straight up about what you really want. But then truly, as BrownJay said, you got to be man enough to do it. Are you?
Lies upon lies. Who told you normal legislators do not have official residences? Go and do your research and come back here.

The policy then was to assist serving government officials to own homes, hence serving ministers, Directors, heads of parastatals were given the right to purchase their official residences, these sales must be approved by the sitting President. This law was enacted by OBJ/El Rufai - so, what is your grouse with GEJ for merely playing the role of a sitting President here?
I really do not know how you can turn that your above bolded part to sound logic. So immediately after OBJ left office, there were no more Directors, Heads of Parastatal or such. Okay. let’s assume that HoP-1 bought his official residence under OBJ. Tell me, which official residence did or would HoP-2 under Yar'adua buy? Or HoP-3 under GEJ, which official residence would he/she buy?

The manner you are turning things around is so faulty and baseless. The policy of monetisation is to remove the government from having to cater for the housing and housing related issues for public servants. However, this was not extended to Principal Officers of the different arms of government. The Aso Rock and Aguda House (Exec), CJ (Jud) and SP & SoH and deputies Leg).

Pray if the house had been sold to Etteh, which one would Bankole have inhabited. Hey, come to think of it, if there is no requirement for houses for Principal Officers of the legislature, why vote 1.5B to build a new one?
Abi you go sell a car and buy a new one if you do not need a car?
CelebritiesRe: Sikiru Ayinde Barister Is Dead! by Akainzo(m): 11:11am On Dec 17, 2010
Amalaaba:
Madam, Fuji evolved from from "Were" period. There were many other "Ajiwere" musicians from time immemorial  playing :were" to wake people (Especially Muslims) for Ramadan breakfast. This was a traditional thing. By the 50s to 60s and with the coming of recording companies such as DECCA and so on, there was a need to start recording when these "were" groups started forming themselves into "bands". Off course, recording required that they must be better organised and their output needed to become more sophisticated so they introduced "Set", Bata, Flute, Guitar and many others. There were many bands around Ita garawu and Isale Eko in general! If my memory serves me right, there was one Isikabaka in Kwara and off course many others in the whole of the Yoruba nation.

Fuji is a term that was associated with fun: Something like "Lets enjoy"! It was commonly used for having fun, but by the late 60s it got stuck to "Were" because Juju had already acquired an identity.

You see Madam, I love Barrister Ayinde, but it is not fair to the other contributors to allow him have what is not his own. In his frst record, he did not claim to be singing FUJI. One would have expected an inventor to define such very early.

When Fela changed from Jazz to Highlife and then to Afrobeat, this was clearly defined.

Fuji, just like Highlife evolved over time; Osadebe, Mensah, Olaiya, Benson cannot singularly claim the invention. This is different from FELA and AFROBEAT!

I rest my case!
My dear, you are quite correct that Fuji evolved from Were.  However, the fact that the aeroplane evolved as  result of the petrol engine does not in anyway mean that the Wright Brothers did not invent the aeroplane regardless of the person that invented the combustion engine.

Though Were was the building block of Fuji, it was not Fuji. Ayinde infused the guitar and other instruments into Were to create Fuji. Thus he created Fuji.

It is funny that most of the people criticizing her are non-igbos. . Lol. .some people just ooz with hate that it impairs their ability to think without prejudice.
Good thing there is that it is not up to any of you to stop her, it is useless and a waste of time arguing with hypocrites that will never budge even when they are obviously contradictory. Facts are very sacred, opinions they say are free. Anyone can conjecture any nonsense in their feverish mind and then try to pass it as facts, you might confuse and manage to wow some undiscerning minds but the discerning ones wont be flustered, they will judge both the merit and demerit of any point and reveal intents based on fact. The People against Dora Akunyili have always relied on perceptions they cook up in their minds, they are quick to give their own analysis of what they think she is up to, every move the woman makes has been a hot subject of very partisan scrutiny even when there is no proof of any wrong doing based on fact. Some People have surreptitiously developed a different tenets for the woman to live by. What exactly is the woman's sin? Enough of the mind readings and silly telepathic analysis of the woman's actions and intents, if anyone has any concrete evidence of the woman's wrong doing let them come out, the peopl of Anambra will not judge her by your unrealistic standards and expectations. To hell with all these immature rants, character assassinations and shifting of goal post to gather and score your own points, if you all do not have any tangible evidence(besides the nonsense the little angel and the demon dancing makosa on both sides of your shoulders tell you) then hold your myopic views to yourself and stop trying to ram it down the throats of the majority of Anambarians and people who vehemently do not agree with you. Stalking every post that has Dora Akunyili's name written on it wont change a thing, you lot will just give yourselves high blood pressure with the way you let this woman contol the blood flow to your hearts and heads.
I do wonder how you were able to decipher the ethnic orientation of people on a public forum from their handles. Or do you just assume that since they are against her, they definitely wouldn't be Ibo as Ibos should naturally support her?

I think you are in fact the one that is ethnically biased rather than those you are trying to castigate.

BTW what does RIM mean by the 'Sorry the Blackberry App World is not available in your country'? Are they high on Expired Palmwine or what? Nigeria alone i can confidently say accounts for a very significant number of blackberries sold in the whole of Africa! Yet we are not qualified to have access to their washed-up App world? This is the kind of nonsense our so called NCC and Telcos should be looking into if they want to provide their customers with premium value added services.
Nonsense and Ingredence!
This means the Blackberry Service Providers in your country have not developed a secured means of collecting money from their subscribers.
Note that there is no credit ratings in Nigeria and Dollar denominated cards are not readily available across the populace. Therefore for the App World to be in place, the Service providers have to developed a means to get subscribers to pay the money for services procured from the App World. Unfortunately, the Nigerian space is made up of jokers and they are not cooperating.

Have you also noticed that no Service Provider provides update services of the OS?

One cannot fail but wonder what actually is the gameplan and ambition of arsenal football club.

Season in season out, you starve your fans of celebrating a trophy, worse still The Gunners have now won none of their last 11 against United and Chelsea -  and they have the guts to claim that they are title contendershuh?that sort of form is unlikely to win them the title.

Assnal fans shld just know that wenger and its board are just biz men, buyin players from the backyard in france and selling them for profit after two yrs.

When you can't win 2 out of 3 high profile matches, you won't smell the league title, they shld ask los blancos.

Barca's outcome is always predictable, 4-3-3 and flood of goals because of consistency what can an a s s club said to behuh

I just stayed up late for nothing

Congrats man u for fielding 13 players
Dude, the league is not decided by the result of the games against the Big 3/4, but by a consistency against the other 16 teams. So we've dropped points against the Man U and chelski, but we are still 2nd on the league. Go figure why out.

History has a way of repeating itself and revenge is a very strong motivation.

Man U are trying to equal Arsenal's Invincibles record, thus we would very much love to end the unbeaten streak. All this points to a fully motivated Arsenal side.
Based on this, I predict an Arsenal win, though they have to work at it and the defense has to be focussed for the entire 90 minutes.
