Let's be civilise for once. The rule of law has to be respected. Doing that will stand the test of time. The urge or pleasure to bend or amend the law for a particular case should be avoided at all cost. At the end we don't need new law for old, new or next administrations.

I think Fayose has a point politics apart

Budgeting and funding are two different things. Forget about trillions and billions of budgeted naira the question is whether the fund is made available. Let this administration embarked on policies that will move the nation forward.

I thought that so far all we hearing is an allegation. Those concerned have not been aligned or convicted by a court of competent jurisdiction. Remember even the campaign program of a certain particular political party was flatly denied. Why then are we convicting the suspect base on allegations. The courts are there to tell us the truth.

What do you expect a decamping politician to tell you. Why don't they decamp to the other parties other than the ruling party. Hypocrisy

Shameless. Imagine all those decamping to the ruling party citing useless reasons good enough for a three years old child. Those decamping signified that we have no principle politicians

Smart move by the incumbent president fighting corruption. Naturally corruption is just like the whole books interpreted the way you deemed right. So many imams and pastors quoting the same holy books but interpreting it the way they like and behold they all have ardent followers. Hope the country may not come to standstill.

Anytime people of a nation decided to praise its leadership no matter how power is used such a nation will be going bananas as time goes on.

Why do we saddled ourselves with this extreme view of religion. I have always believed that its the government that is encouraging these extreme views on religion by going all the way in funding, participating and undertaking sone religious obligations that should have been left to the individual.

The statement from APC about mistresses is rather unfortunate. It is my candid belief that the women that served in both PDP and now APC administrations are worthy of their positions. Please these political parties should understand that campaign period is over.

What baffles me is 'so far the appointee is honest and capable where she or he comes from is irrelevant'. I wonder if some people believed that the federal government of Nigeria belongs to someone exclusively. While the president can hire and fire however reasons have to be provided why he is hiring and firing. Where we could have got an angel is probably in the advanced countries but even there none not to talk of Nigeria. Shielding the government from genuine concerns will not help the government and the people being governed at the long run

The president should not behave like my extra lesson teacher who reconstruct every sentence to his taste but behave like the professor who only make sure that the rules governing english language are followed strictly.

So 'ministers are noise makers' is just a joke from the serious looking president. However most people don't take it as a joke judging from the fact that they are not appointed three or so months after the inauguration of his administration citing then as 16 years of misrule. Now we have to wait for interpretation of my president's speech by his media team due to the fact; either we have no sense of reasoning or we are made to look silly

How l wish this Brimah of a person will devote his time and energy in advising our president for good governance and stop hallucinating.

We are in trouble. So the president has to accept the senate president otherwise no show and some gullible Nigerians are jubilating for that statement. Where then is the separation of powers . It seems in our bid to make a demi god out of our president by overzealous supporters we fail to see the implications of that move that will eventually translate to dictatorship. Mark this word. Why having separation of powers if the idea is for the executive to decide who to lead the legislative arm of the government. If his activities confine with the Constitution it is not his business who heads the remaining two powers. i. e legislative and judiciary. Let's encourage this type of set up rather than creating a monster that we will not be able to call to order. Just peep into some state legislative houses and the difference is just name but in reality they are ministry of legislative affairs with the speaker as the commissioner etc

Ordinarily what could have been a routine appointment has now been upgraded to the point where by it's even an achievement in the face of governance. Either we the governed grow up or the goverance grow up. Is this the change we are clamoring for. Change indeed.

I wonder how this country will move forward if there is glaring mistake and for the fear of "wailing wailers" and Buhari apologists who see nothing wrong with his mode of administration one cannot talk. They should be reminded that there are people alive when he was head of state and still living now that he is a democratically elected president. 12.5m voted for his rival while he garnered 15m votes. Nigeria we were made to understand has a population of 160m people. This is democracy and l believe most of us know what it entails. Attempt to cow us will not be good for the nation
