TRUTHTELA: well said |
kevin10: South-south no dey disappointwe vbo nia? benin-city ![]() |
please FP so people can see how people are dying for this protest https://www.nairaland.com/nigeria/topic-837985.0.html |
talk true: this is what I like to hear. We are one peopleNow I would like to here protest in Onitsha and co so that the FG can here our demands loud and clear. NLC is for Nigerians not for the SW/SS and the North alone. |
iykak47:and did they support the removal of fuel subsidy ? maybe it is u that is does not have brain at all |
TRUTHTELA:My brother, we are saying the samething. That is why I am wondering why some nairalanders are making it a yoruba/hausa/fulani afire when WE ALL WOULD BE PAR-TAKERS OF THIS REMOVAL. Yes I know they are in every tribe, I am not trying to exclude the SE but goons on Nairaland are doing it themselves. We were here when Sanusi (my main man) supported the removal so it has nothing to do with ethnicity but beaf, dmainboss, ejire, pointb etc are saying South-east should not join in the protest and no igbo should join etc. Thus they tribalsied it themselves. |
JayJohnson:Bros, Igbos are not cheap. This is the time to act that you have a mind of ur own and cannot be brought over any how. It has nothing to do with ethnicity but the untold hardship to come. Pure water in Akoka not is 20 Naira from 5 naira. Orobo (50ml) cola which use to be 50 naira is not 150 naira ![]() |
Demdem:ah my brother once I am sure of the time and location, I would post it here. |
hazureal:Chai Alihamduhilia His death would never be wasted. Insha Allah |
Demdem:some are saying protest to soon begin in port harcourt Please can you confirm ![]() |
gidiMonsta:thank you my brother don't tribalise protest against fuel subsidy. We are one people SE do not be left out ![]() |
oludyke:Nwannem I understand and believe when I tell you it is not doing Igbos any favour or what so ever There is protest in SW- Lagos, Oyo, Ogun NW- kano, Sokoto NE- Adamawa NC- Kwara, Abuja, Nasarawa, beune, Kogi SS- Rivers, Benin-city(edo) and bayelsa SE- Infact they support it. I don't understand It seems that SE politicians are enemy of progress and are not part of NLC (NIGERIA LABOUR CONGRESS) This move would greatly affect any presidential ambition for the SE 2015. FACT !!!! My brother, my advice for you is to live that SE region and travel to SS or SE or North to safe ur self from the hardship to come |
I have seen people mostly for the South-eastern region trying to tribalise a sensitive issue such as the protest against fuel subsidy. They view it as an attempt by the South-west, North-west, North central, North east, and South-South to remove GEJ out of office. I would like to urge my fellow Nigerians most especially the Igbos to NOT TRIBALISE this issue. I have seen South-Southers from delta , edo, bayelsa, rivers and cross river protesting against fuel subsidy. Why are my Igbo brothers and sisters in the South-east quite about it and even worse trying to call it a hausa/fulani/yoruba protest. We all are one people and fuel price at 141 Naira would affect everyone regardless of zones or ethnicity. Please and Please, lets live the past behind us and do the right thing. GEJ does not represent any ethnic group but his own people who are the cabals milking Nigeria dry till this very day. Lets not de destroy the country further because of ethnocentric reasons best know to you people. |
karl max:WE ARE PROTESTING BECAUSE OF THE INCREMENT OF FUEL SINCE THERE IS NO SUBSIDY. THUS WHERE WOULD THE EXTRA MONEY FROM THE INCREMENT GO ? WHAT IS IT MEANT FOR ? AND WHY. |

ACM10 shey you no fit answer again ? or you just throw allegation against a group of people anyhow as you deem fit ![]() |
rhymz:God bless you. Rhymz, at the end of the day we are all in the mess together. This is the point we should join hands and fight against a common enemy which is CORRUPTION because there is nothing like fuel subsidy. All this is just to milk us dry. |
ACM10:you have not answered the question
Where, when and how did you yorubas work against the interest of ibos ? And please dont tell me because they didnt support biafara war !
|
Where, when and how did you yorubas work against the interest of ibos ? And please dont tell me because they didnt support biafara war !
+ 10 I am also waiting for an answer. |
Beaf:Hey why are you changing his words in the wrong context these were his words "must head in without consulting olodos like you. Why will your inferiority complex not lead you to believe I am talking about "Yoruba and fulani people"? What a fool !!! "so why are you being such a bigot. Can you have a decent discussion for once without being tribalistic ? Beaf, it shows your mentality about Nigerians. You see, you are using propaganda to appear that you are for the people and I must admit I feel for it at one time in the past. I know your truth personality (at least on Nairaland) and how you have deceived our south-eastern brothers to think otherwise ( of course because they were insecure as well). Well I give it up to you. You have done well, but know something that nothing is permanent. |
Tribalist? Phew. Okay pal. Now I can see what sort of conversation you're really hoping to have with me, but unfortunately for you and your wild imaginations, that won't be happening. So this will be my last reply to you, after which every single post from you to me will be permanently ignored for as long as I stay on this site, whether they're friendly or not. As for Ogun, well, consult your BlackBerry if you have one. The messages have been floating around since yesterday. As for your every-tribe-is-in-Lagos, I say - How does that have anything to do with my first post, or did you see me mention any tribes there? Or is it just from your desperation to keep this conversation going? Well, I've lost interest anyway. And finally, on your empty tribalism allegation, I ain't complaining really, cuz it's the internet anyway, and believe me, your opinion is not one I'll be caring about in a billion years to come, so abeg bros, go siddon jor.
You know I find it funny the way you said " this is last post". My friend or should I say fellow Nigerian, I would am not stopping you from posting or not posting. It is an online forum and thus you are free to do whatever you like.(Just wanted to remind you before you get carried away). Now what is all the "billion years" about. You are making no sense. You came here telling us about a section or a geographical section of the country not protesting with others and yet you are trying to appear an open minded person ? Don't you think that is childish of you to do so ? My brother good night but I would like you let you ponder on those words I said to you. Thanks ![]() |
Ogbonaikenna:Now I would prefer Niger-deltans apart from the tribalist such as yourself (no offence) Beaf and anyother South-easterner posing as a South-Southern not to speak on behalf of South-Southerners. You deplete them as unintelligent and less of a human being by speaking for them and dragging them into every discussion as if they have no mind on there own. Let me remain you that NO SOUTH-SOUTHERNER is A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN TO ANYONE MOST ESPECIALLY AN IGBO MAN. NO SOUTH-SOUTHERNER WOULD BE A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN IN BAIFRA OK. Genetic analysis was actually carried out and it was found out that 5 groups in the SS are more closely related to the Yoruba/Nigerians than your so called group These groups are as followed Ijaw/Kalabari Itsekiri Bini/Edo Urhobo/Isoko Ilaje http://www.raceandhistory.com/cgi-bin/forum/webbbs_config.pl/noframes/read/2139 so I don't see where you are coming from. |
Okay cool. I consider myself a realist, really, so for that reason, where you come from doesn't really matter to me (cuz we're all Nigerians and have no control over it); but it's we're you're going I'll pay attention to. Now, on the discussion: You know what? Let Lagosians and Ogunites (the two states who've shown interest in protesting) carry on with the march tomorrow, and we Niger-Deltans promise to give you our utmost support. . . Errr. . . From behind our TV sets, that is. ![]() Right, Beaf?
Well I am a realist as well so we are not too different ( if I may say). Yes you brought up the issue of the region you are from and all I did was to point out to you that I am also from the SS and from the dominate group in the SS.Yes now we can discuss. I can't recall Ogun planning a protest. I would not mind if you can provide a source for your claim. Yes Lagos there would be protest and it comprises of all groups from all regions. You see, the way you construct your words makes you a tribalist. I would like to pose this question to you. Who are the Niger-deltans ? Are they not Nigerians ? If yes then I believe they would protest as well. Now I would prefer Niger-deltans apart from the tribalist such as yourself (no offence) Beaf and anyother South-easterner posing as a South-Southern not to speak on behalf of South-Southerners. You deplete them as unintelligent and less of a human being by speaking for them and dragging them into every discussion as if they have no mind on there own. Let me remain you that NO SOUTH-SOUTHERNER is A SECOND CLASS CITIZEN TO ANYONE. Thanks for your time and log in with other username as you please. |
the owners of Nigeria are those finding opportunity to tribalise everything to there advantage can we rest now ? |
Beaf:the owners of Nigeria are those finding opportunity to tribalise everything to there advantage |
Ogbonaikenna:funny people. fuel subsidy = brother/ tribe/ ethnicity/ region/ what are you people talking about ? If you people are not born tribalist, why do you always tribalise things ? Are you people this sick and bitter for real ? Now who are the SS, Nigerians or Biafrans since you keep refering to them as brothers and what makes them different from others or others are enemies ? |
Beaf:who are the clowns ? you are making life harder for Nigerians and you do not expect protest ? you must be the joker here. really |
I guess I forgot to mention I'm from Ndokwa L.G.A. of Delta State. And you know what that means, bruv? Yeah, it means I'm from that SS you just mentioned. Nonetheless, my statement was made from gauging the opinion clouds in both regions and summing it up. And another thing you have to take note of, pal, is that I do not support the removal of subsidies. Reading my previous posts coupled with a few seconds of introspection would have made that clear. PS: I am not an internet tribal knight, so kindly respect yourself and keep your sweeping conclusions within the confines of your mind. Thanks.
story story. a beg go tell ignorant people that not ME. Ok yeah I am also from baylsa thus I am A south-southern so what are u talking about. Forget my I.D I am from brass island in bayalsa state and I can tell you my household and street. Now that is said. Good to know u never supported fuel subsidy. Now I expect protest in the SS and SW for obvoius reason because they are Nigerians just like me and would know what the masses are going through Yes I do not expect protest in the SE for obvious reasons which is best known to them or people like you. |
Nemeziz9ja:bros, i know but sometimes it is too painful to watch supporters of subsidy removal a majorly bigots on nairaland you see they view it and ethnic thing. from beaf to other goons |
Nadanbata:hmmm i dey watch u |
