Hey, yes I understand you perfectly. I just wanted to highlight that point and if you asked me, I have no issues with anywhere the refineries (any infrastructure for that matter) are located and having all our resources shared / harnessed / improved / used together for the general GOOD of everyone - down to the weakest person / smallest tribe. However, this this can only be possible in the atmosphere of mutual RESPECT, SHARING CREDIT, COLLABORATION, DIPLOMACY, GRACIOUSNESS, etc.
sure you are right but the reason i said that is becos I don't want to be skinned alive and to look pro-igbo

^ I hope you are joking with the 70% - 90% thing because when Nigeria breaks up, talks like this is what WILL ensure that everyone goes back to his region - traced by name, parent's name and lineage! When there are any doubts as to the person's real origin, he WILL not be allowed to stay and MUST leave! Don't you know that it is highly insensitive to arrogate the ownership of a place to renters at the expense of the owners? So, because the SS allows non-natives to live and derive a good life from oil revenue, they now become 90% of the population; when SW allows migrants from the East, North, SS to their region, they now become 70% - 90%?? Well, if Nigeria does break-up, talks like these will create another Nigeria and that is why it is better to make a clean, total break without any grey areas!
egbon mi, it does not matter. what matters is we are a nation.

if it is built in lagos, I expect lagosians (which i am as well) to welcome our brothers from the east to come and get the benefit of a refinary (if built).

You see if all the refianries are controled by igbos, it is cool so long as they do the job right.

We need to show igbos are wanted in Lagos so as to strengthen the bond between yoruba and igbo and to make the economy of lagos a true Nigerian economy.

I hope you see what I mean. I know the reason you are saying this right now is the nonsense you are read of NL about yorubas from igbos even living in lagos. At the end of the day when we die, we would not take the refinary to heave neither would we take the fuel or money to heaven.

1. Lagos is a commercial hub for nigeria so it is not like the refinary is for yorubas. At the end of the day 70%-90% of lagos is igbo thus majority of the workers are igbos

2. kogi is at the center of the country and also close to abuja thus it serves every region

3. Bayelsa is a SS region and after so many years of neglect, i think it is about time it is built there to provide jobs for the locals

Lastly and very importantly

at the end of the day, we are one nation regardless of zones. WE are not even certain the government would build the refinary so what is all the wahala about really ? undecided

you are just an ideeiot beclouded by bigotry that you don't mind Nigerians suffering Ode ewu doluwa

I can't believe we have stu.pid people such as your self talking about Nigeria.

Now let me educate your dumb brain

1. The cost of a barrel of oil ? and who controls the prices ? with what currency ? You ODE !!! SMH

the cost of Oil is controled by OPEC which is an organisation of different oil producing countries

Now listen and listen good you half-educated mumu. This prices were set by OPCE to know the UNIVERSIAL COST PRICE OF OIL SALES TO NON-OIL PRODUCING COUNTRIES and that is why ideeiots like u look at the television and see 131 dollars a barrel and actually believe that is the cost of a barrel of oil.

The Actual cost of a barrel of oil varies in different countries and it is around 5 dollars to do every thing (factors such as sulfur content, climate, on or off shore etc). of course it is would be sold at the agreed fees of OPCE which is used to protect the interest of Oil producing countries Otherwise, if russia is selling for 130 dollars a barrel and a silly african country like nigeria would sell it for 2 dollars since they are controled by westerners. why can't people just boycot the russian and everyone buy from nigeria ?

Now our oil is been converted to dollars money instead of naira according to the link u showed me. This means u just have brains and cannot use it.

Is it not obvoius that ours would be the lowest when converting it to dollars because of the exchange rate which is controled by the world bank aka westerners

There was a time it was a dollar to a naira so can we say the cost of a liter of oil would be 65 dollars  ?

Muslim Students Society of Nigeria, MSSN, has condemned the Christmas Day bombing at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madala, Niger State, where more than 30 worshippers lost their lives to suspected members of Boko Haram sect.

Condemning the act, the president of MSSN, Mr. Sharafadeen Adeyemi said: “The recent bomb attack at St. Theresa’s Catholic Church, Madala, by members of the Islamic fundamentalist Boko Haram, is a big threat to the security and collective existence of Nigeria.”

alj_harem,

You're o quick to call Onlytruth, although I'm NOT surprised at your analysis of the votes; how Onlytruth got 50 votes. That really speaks volume on how you really regard people. Anyway, if you read Mukina2 post very well, thanks to Cork and family, although I don't support rigging, however, it's evident who rigged the most.
Just to let people know again I did not cast any vote grin

Now To be frank with you manny4life, I repeat I am shocked as how Onlytruth was even about to get 50 votes. True yans

It has nothing to do with how I regard people. Of course Onlytruth has his own opinion just like every other poster but his opinions are pro-igbo.

Pro-ethicity is what has been killing out nation since 1914 till date. How can a pro-igbo get upto 50 votes from a Nigerian website ?

Of course Katz and ekt-bear did not win because from ur prospective, you might consider them as pro-yoruba. Gbawe got the highest because he is pro-development and that is why I see him getting angry when support ACN at times.

Now ACN does not mean development, that is why sometime I (alj harem) and Gbawe have some intensive arguments but never the less, I am yet to see any bigoted or pro-yoruba statement from Gbawe.

Why did you think a poster like beaf was disqualified ? Becasue he calls every opposition a bigot. people like dmainboss, pointb etc are also following the same path.

Why did you think a poster like eko ile was disqualified ? Because he sees everything ACN does as perfect with no blemish

How I wish people who are pro-Nigerian and pro-development for every region can be regarded on Nl but no that is not the case

Afam4eva is a very surprising one, a mod for that matter. SMH

I brought that up because of the nonsense planner was typing, I mean he brought it up first and I just expanded on it.

Toaskarity:
To your other post: why have we always been the victim, i heard there are upto 250 ethnic group in Nigeria then why always igbo. personally i have lost hope in biafra and yet Nigeria that wants us in cant protect us! to me igbos that are moving north are as silly as the killers, i dont normally blame ppl like you especially on Nl why? cos everyone is trying to protect its own but atimes you guys should put yourself in our shoes and think, ask yourself do we merit all these killings? i have never heard that igbos slaughter another ethnic group for whatever reason yet at any simplest thing we got slaughted, anyway again i wont blame you cos we all know what most of you are for.
I blame igbos moving north for whatever reason.
Toaskarity. I wish other Igbos are calm as you on this forum, then we would have a better forum.

Now concerning the bombing in the north and how it affects others. You see, I would explain to you and I wish you can understand this truth.

Now in the whole of Nigeria, as you rightly said, we have 250 ethnic groups. out of those 250, Igbos are one of the most populous and the Most travelled.

You would find Igbo people in everywhere and as you well know, Igbos are Christians mostly catholic. The bombing of a catholic church would certainly affect Igbos the most no matter the region the bomb takes off.

Now that is just 1 church, compare to the mosque which was 2 attacks

I was telling you of the various attack in Mosques and since it is in the northern part of the country the attack went off. the victims are mostly Northerners.

Now we know boko haram does not fight for northerners, muslims nor Nigerians. The only logical conclusion is the boko haram is a terrorities group out there can claiming falsehood of them fighting for Islam. THIS IS A LIE.

Once we tribalise or religionize any attack of boko haram, we are just giving them more power by pointing out the people they are fighting for. This what I am trying to avoid.

is it until they start bombing port harcourt and lagos it would concern the south ?

These are world oil prices from different countries including a link for prices in 2005. If it cost $5 to produce a barrel (168 litres), why do countries of the world including Saudi sell at the prices listed. That will be approx $0.03 (or around N4.5) to produce a litre. I guess the government has issues with communication hence the lack of clarification that the refinery construction will be in phases.
I do not expect Nigeria to be able to build 6 refineries simultaneously to cover the 6 zones.
SE just has to wait for the second round- that is if the first round ever gets going.

The criteria for selecting Lagos, Lokoja and Bayelsa are obvious

Lokoja = North
Lagos= South
Bayelsa = GEJ's state (jara for south grin grin grin grin grin).

Like the Yoruba, the millions of Igbos in Lagos will benefit from that refinery in terms of jobs and fuel source (yes, it is a fed project not an Yoruba one)
Then the SE refinery will be mainly Igbo-dominated grin grin grin grin grin grin grin (yes because we have more oil than Yoruba)
Now the NL bigots (who were ignorantly mocking the SE) can die a second death.
claim down, To tell you the truth. Yoruba people don't really care. I see no reason for you turning a national development into an ethnic thing at the first place. Those Yoruba people gloating were saying it because of the rubbish like of u were posting around about GEJ disfavouring the SW region.

No one cares, Infact let Igbos be the workers for all the 4 refineries, I for one would be glad as far as it works well. I don;t care and I bet you 149 millions of Nigerians don't care either.
